Leviticus 3

1 [“Also tell the people], ‘When the offering that you bring to Yahweh is to maintain good fellowship [with him], you may bring a bull or a cow from your herd [of cattle], but what you present to Yahweh must be an animal that has no defects.

Ha békeáldozat az ő áldozata, ha a marhából áldozza, akár hímet, akár nőstényt, épet áldozzon az Örökkévaló színe előtt.

2 You must bring the animal to the entrance to the Sacred Tent. You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it [and drain some of its blood in a bowl]. Then one of Aaron’s sons, one of the priests, will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.

És tegye rá kezét az áldozatnak fejére és vágja le azt a gyülekezés sátorának bejáratánál; és hintsék Áron fiai, a papok a vért az oltárra, köröskörül.

3 From that offering, you must offer to Yahweh, as a sacrifice that will be burned in the fire, all the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal, or which is attached to them—

És áldozza a békeáldozatból tűzáldozatul az Örökkévalónak: a zsiradékot, mely befedi a beleket és mind a zsiradékot, mely a beleken van;

4 the kidneys and the fat that is attached to them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.

és a két vesét meg a zsiradékot, mely rajtuk van, mely a vékonyán van; a hártyát, mely a májon van, a vesékkel együtt távolítsa el.

5 Then one of the priests will burn those things on the altar, along with the other parts of the animal that will be completely burned to be an offering [to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh.

És füstölögtessék el azt Áron fiai az oltáron az égőáldozattal, mely a fán van, mely a tűzön van; kellemes illatú tűzáldozat az az Örökkévalónak.

6 If that offering to maintain good fellowship with Yahweh is a sheep or a goat, it must also be an animal that has no defects.

Ha pedig a juhokból való az ő áldozata, békeáldozatul az Örökkévalónak, hímet vagy nőstényt, épet áldozzon.

7 If you offer a lamb, you must present it to Yahweh [at the entrance to the Sacred Tent]. You must lay your hands on the lamb’s head and then slaughter it. [‘You must drain some of its blood in a bowl].

Ha juhot áldoz az ő áldozata gyanánt, vigye el azt az Örökkévaló színe elé.

8 Then one of the priests will sprinkle that blood against all sides of the altar.

És tegye rá kezét áldozatának fejére és vágja le azt a gyülekezés sátora előtt; Áron fiai pedig öntsék a vérét az oltárra köröskörül.

9 You must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: Its fat, the fat tail that you must cut off close to the backbone, and all the fat that covers the inner parts of the lamb or which is attached to them—

És áldozza a békeáldozatból tűzáldozatul az Örökkévalónak: zsiradékát, a farkát egészen, a hátgerinc táján távolítsa el; és a zsiradékot, mely befedi a beleket és mind a zsiradékot, mely a beleken van;

10 the kidneys with the fat that is on them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.

és a két vesét meg a zsiradékot, mely rajtuk van, mely a vékonyán van; meg a hártyát, mely a májon van, a vesékkel együtt távolítsa el.

11 One of the priests will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh].

És füstölögtesse el a pap az oltáron; tűzáldozat kenyere az az Örökkévalónak.

12 ‘If your offering is a goat, you must take/present it to Yahweh.

Ha pedig kecske az ő áldozata, vigye azt az Örökkévaló színe elé.

13 You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it in front of the Sacred Tent. Then one of Aaron’s sons will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.

És tegye rá kezét a fejére és vágja le azt a gyülekezés sátora előtt, és hintsék Áron fiai a vérét az oltárra, köröskörül.

14 From that offering you must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: All the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal or which is attached to them,

És áldozza abból áldozatát tűzáldozatul az Örökkévalónak: a zsiradékot, mely befedi a beleket és mind a zsiradékot, mely a beleken van;

15 the kidneys with the fat that is on them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.

és a két vesét meg a zsiradékot, mely rajtuk van, mely a vékonyán van; meg a hártyát, mely a májon van, a vesékkel együtt távolítsa el.

16 The priest will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh. All the fat [of the animals that are sacrificed] belongs to Yahweh.

És füstölögtesse el azokat a pap az oltáron, tűzáldozat kenyere az, kellemes illatul; mind a zsiradék az Örökkévalóé.

17 ‘This is a command that must be obeyed by you and your descendants forever, wherever you live: You must not eat the fat or the blood [of any animal].’”

Örök törvény ez nemzedékeiteken át, minden lakóhelyeiteken: Semmiféle zsiradékot és semmiféle vért ne egyetek.
