Leviticus 2

1 ‘If you bring to Yahweh an offering of grain, it must consist of finely-ground flour. You must pour olive oil on it, and put some incense on it,

Et si quelque personne veut offrir à l'Éternel l'oblation d'une Offrande, son oblation sera de la fleur de farine sur laquelle il versera de l'huile et mettra de l'encens.

2 and take it to one of the priests. The priest will take a handful of the flour and the oil with the incense and burn it on the altar. That part will symbolize [that all of the offering truly belongs to Yahweh]. And the aroma will be pleasing to Yahweh.

Et il l'apportera aux Prêtres, fils d'Aaron, et le Prêtre y prendra une poignée sur la farine et l'huile, une poignée pleine, ainsi que sur tout l'encens, et il fera fumer sur l'Autel cette portion destinée en sacrifice igné, d'un parfum agréable à l'Éternel.

3 The part of that offering that is not burned will belong to Aaron and his sons. It is a very holy part of the offerings that are given to Yahweh by [burning them] in a fire.

Et le reste de l'offrande sera pour Aaron et ses fils comme partie très sainte des sacrifices ignés faits à l'Éternel.

4 ‘If you bring an offering that is made from grain, something that is baked in an oven, it must be made from finely-ground flour. You may bring loaves made from flour mixed with olive oil but without yeast, or you may bring wafers with olive oil smeared on them, but also made without yeast.

Et si tu veux offrir l'oblation d'une offrande de choses cuites au four, que ce soient des galettes de fleur de farine sans levain, trempées dans l'huile et des oublies sans levain ointes d'huile.

5 If your offering is cooked (on a griddle/in a shallow pan), it must be made from finely-ground flour mixed with olive oil and without yeast.

Et si ton oblation consiste dans une offrande cuite sur la poêle, que ce soit de la fleur de farine trempée dans l'huile, sans levain.

6 You must crumble it and pour olive oil on it. That will be your offering made from grain.

Romps-la en menus morceaux et verse de l'huile dessus: c'est une offrande.

7 If your offering that is made from grain is cooked in a pan, it must be made of finely-ground flour mixed with olive oil.

Et si ton oblation consiste en une offrande cuite dans le pot au feu, que ce soit un apprêt de fleur de farine avec de l'huile.

8 Bring to Yahweh your grain offering. Give it to the priest, and he will take it to the altar.

Et tu présenteras l'offrande qu'on en fera à l'Éternel, et on la transmettra au Prêtre qui l'apportera à l'Autel.

9 He will take a part of it that will symbolize that all the offering belongs to Yahweh. He will burn that part on the altar, and the aroma as it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh.

Et le Prêtre prélèvera sur l'offrande la portion destinée, qu'il fera fumer sur l'Autel en sacrifice igné d'un parfum agréable à l'Éternel.

10 The part that is not burned will belong to Aaron and his sons. It is a very holy part of the offerings given to Yahweh by [burning them] in a fire.

Et le reste de l'offrande sera pour Aaron et ses fils, comme partie très-sainte des sacrifices ignés faits à l'Éternel.

11 ‘Every offering that is made from grain and that you bring to Yahweh must be made without yeast, because you must not put any yeast or honey in any offering to Yahweh that is burned [on the altar].

Aucune des offrandes que vous présenterez à l'Éternel ne sera apprêtée au levain, car vous ne devez faire fumer ni ferment ni miel en sacrifice igné à l'Éternel;

12 You may bring to Yahweh an offering of the first part of your harvest, but that is not to be burned on the altar to produce an aroma that will be pleasing to Yahweh.

vous pourrez en offrir à l'Éternel comme oblation de primeurs, mais il n'en paraîtra point sur l'Autel comme parfum agréable.

13 Put salt on all your offerings that are made from grain. The salt represents the agreement that your God [made with] you, so be sure that you do not forget to put salt on those offerings.

Et tu assaisonneras de sel toute oblation d'une offrande, tu n'omettras jamais le sel d'alliance de ton Dieu dans ton offrande, tu ajouteras du sel à chaque oblation que tu offriras.

14 ‘If you bring to Yahweh an offering of the first part of your harvest of grain, offer some new grain that has been crushed and roasted in a fire.

Et si tu veux présenter à l'Éternel une offrande de primeurs, tu présenteras des épis rôtis au feu, du grain concassé, comme offrande de tes primeurs,

15 Put olive oil and incense on it, and that will be your offering made from grain.

et tu y verseras de l'huile et y ajouteras de l'encens: c'est une offrande.

16 The priest will take a part of the flour and oil along with the incense. [That will symbolize that all the offering truly belongs to Yahweh]. He will burn that part on the altar, to be an offering given to Yahweh by [burning it] in a fire.’”

Et le Prêtre fera fumer en sacrifice igné à l'Éternel la part destinée des grains concassés et de l'huile avec tout l'encens.
