Job 36
1 Elihu [finished by] saying this:
தொடர்ந்து எலிகூ சொன்னதாவது:
2 “[Job, ] be patient with me a little longer, because I have something else to teach you. I have something else to say that God [wants you to know].
“சற்று என்னிடம் பொறுமையாயிரும், இறைவன் சார்பாய் நான் சொல்ல வேண்டியவற்றை நான் உமக்குக் காண்பிப்பேன்.
3 I will tell you what I have learned from many sources, in order to show that God, my creator, is just/fair.
நான் அதிக தூரத்திலிருந்து என் அறிவைப் பெறுகிறேன்; என்னைப் படைத்தவருக்கே நீதி உரியது என்றும் நிரூபிப்பேன்.
4 I am not saying anything to you that is false; I, who am standing in front of you, am someone who understands things (very well/perfectly) [HYP].
என் வார்த்தைகள் பொய்யானவையல்ல என்று உறுதியாய்க் கூறுகிறேன்; பூரண அறிவுள்ள நான் உம்மோடு பேசுகிறேன்.
5 “Hey, God is [very] powerful, and he does not despise anyone, and he understands everything.
“இறைவன் வல்லமையுள்ளவர், ஆகிலும் அவர் ஒருவரையும் தள்ளிவிடமாட்டார்; வல்லமையுள்ள அவர் தமது நோக்கத்தில் உறுதியுள்ளவர்.
6 He does not allow wicked people to remain alive, and he always acts justly toward those who are poor.
அவர் கொடியவர்களை உயிர்வாழ விடுவதில்லை; துன்பப்படுகிறவர்களுக்கோ அவர்களுடைய உரிமைகளை வழங்குகிறார்.
7 He always watches over [MTY] those who are righteous; he allows them to sit on thrones [and rule] with kings, and they are honored forever.
அவர் நேர்மையானவர்கள் மேலிருந்து தன் கண்களை அகற்றுவதில்லை; அவர் அவர்களை அரசர்களோடு அரியணையில் அமர்த்தி, அவர்களை என்றைக்கும் மேன்மைப்படுத்துகிறார்.
8 But if people [who commit crimes] are caught, they [are thrown into prison and] are caused to suffer by being fastened with chains.
ஆனால் மனிதர்கள் சங்கிலியால் கட்டப்பட்டு, வேதனையின் கயிற்றினால் இறுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும்போது,
9 When that happens, God shows them what they have done; he shows them the sins that they have committed, and he shows them that they have been proud/arrogant.
அவர்கள் செய்தவற்றை இறைவன் அவர்களுக்குக் கூறுவார். அதாவது அவர்கள் அகந்தையாய் பாவம் செய்ததை அவர் சொல்வார்.
10 He causes them to listen [MTY] to what he is warning them, and he commands them to turn away from [doing what is] evil.
அவர் அவர்கள் சீர்திருந்துதலுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, தங்கள் தீமையிலிருந்து மனந்திரும்ப கட்டளையிடுகிறார்.
11 If they (listen to/heed) him and serve him, [after they get out of prison] they will prosper for all the years that they are alive and be peaceful/happy.
அவர்கள் கீழ்ப்படிந்து அவருக்குப் பணிசெய்தால், அவர்கள் தங்கள் மீதியான நாட்களைச் செல்வத்திலும், மீதியான வருஷங்களை மனநிறைவிலும் கழிப்பார்கள்.
12 But if they do not (listen/pay attention) to him, they will die violently, not knowing [why God is causing them to die].
அடங்கி அவருக்குப் பணிசெய்யாவிட்டால், வாளினால் அழிந்து, அறிவில்லாமலே சாவார்கள்.
13 “Godless/Wicked people continue being angry, and they do not cry out for help, [even] when God is punishing them.
“உள்ளத்தில் இறைவனற்றவர்கள் கோபத்தை வளர்த்துக்கொள்கிறார்கள்; அவர் அவர்களுக்கு விலங்கிடும்போதும் அவர்கள் உதவிக்காக அழுவதில்லை.
14 They die while they are still young, disgraced because of their very immoral behavior [EUP].
அவர்கள் கோவில்களிலிருக்கும் ஆண் விபசாரக்காரர் மத்தியில் தங்கள் இளமையிலேயே சாவார்கள்.
15 But God teaches people by causing them to suffer; by afflicting them, he causes them to listen to [MTY] what he is telling them.
ஆனாலும் துன்பப்படுகிறவர்களை அவர் துன்பத்திலிருந்து விடுவித்து, அவர்களுடைய வேதனையில் அவர் அவர்களோடு பேசுகிறார்.
16 “And Job, [I think that] God [wants to] bring you out of your troubles and allow you to live without distress; he wants your table to be full of very nice food.
“யோபுவே, இறைவன் உன்னைக் கட்டுப்பாடற்ற விசாலமான இடத்திற்கு கொண்டுவரவும், சுவையான உணவுகள் நிறைந்த பந்தியில் அமர்த்தவும், வேதனையின் பிடியிலிருந்து உன்னை விடுவிக்கவும் முயற்சிக்கிறார்.
17 But now, you are being punished [MTY] as wicked people are punished; [God] [PRS] has been punishing you (justly/as you deserve).
கொடியவர்கள்மேல் வரும் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு நிறைவேறக் காத்திருக்கிறீர்; நியாயத்தீர்ப்பும் நீதியுமே உம்மை ஆதரிக்கும்.
18 So be careful that you are not deceived by [desiring to acquire] money or that you are not ruined by [accepting] large bribes.
செல்வங்களினால் ஒருவரும் உம்மைக் கவராதபடி எச்சரிக்கையாயிரும்; பெரிதான இலஞ்சம் உம்மை வழிவிலகிச் செல்ல இடங்கொடாதே.
19 [If you are deceived by those things, ] it certainly will not [RHQ] help you to cry out when you are distressed; all of your strength will not help you.
உமது செல்வங்களும் வல்லமையான எல்லா முயற்சிகளும் நீர் துன்பத்தில் அகப்படாதபடி உம்மைத் தாங்குமோ?
20 Do not wish that it would be nighttime [in order that God will not see you and punish you], because night is the time when [even] people-groups are destroyed!
மக்களைத் தங்கள் வீடுகளிலிருந்து இழுத்துச் செல்வதற்காக நீர் இரவை வாஞ்சிக்காதிரும்.
21 Be careful not to [begin doing] evil things, because [God] has caused you to suffer to prevent you from doing evil.
தீமைசெய்யத் திரும்பாதபடி எச்சரிக்கையாயிரும்; ஏனெனில், நீர் துன்பத்தைவிட தீமையை தெரிந்துகொண்டீர்.
22 “Hey, God is extremely powerful; there is certainly [RHQ] no teacher who teaches like he does.
“இறைவன் தமது வல்லமையில் உயர்த்தப்பட்டிருக்கிறார். அவரைப்போல் போதிக்கிறவர் யார்?
23 No one has [RHQ] told him what he should do, and no one has [RHQ] said to him, ‘You have done what is wrong!’
இறைவனுக்கு அவருடைய வழியைக் குறித்துக் கொடுத்தது யார்? அல்லது ‘நீர் அக்கிரமம் செய்தீர்’ என்று சொல்லியது யார்?
24 People have [always] sung to praise him, so you also should never forget to praise him for what he has done.
மனிதர்கள் புகழ்ந்து பாடும் பாடல்களால் அவருடைய செயலை மேன்மைப்படுத்த நினைவுகூரும்.
25 Everyone has seen [what he has done], but [sometimes] we can see it only from far away.
அவர் செய்வதை எல்லா மனிதரும் காண்கிறார்கள்; அதைத் தூரத்திலிருந்து உற்றுப் பார்க்கிறார்கள்;
26 “Hey, God is very great, and we are not able to know how great he is, and we do not know how old he is.
நமது விளங்கும் ஆற்றலுக்கும் அப்பாற்பட்ட இறைவன்! அவருடைய வருடங்களும் எண்ணிட முடியாதவை.
27 He draws water up [from the earth and puts it in clouds] and causes it to become rain.
“அவர் நீர்த்துளிகளை மேலே இழுத்து, அவற்றை ஆறுகளில் மழையாகப் பெய்யச் செய்கிறார்.
28 The rain pours down from the sky/clouds; God causes abundant showers to fall on everyone.
மேகங்கள் மழையைப் பொழிகின்றன, அது மனிதர்மேல் தாரையாய்ப் பொழிகிறது.
29 No one can [RHQ] understand how the clouds move [across the sky] or how it thunders in the sky where God lives.
அவர் மேகங்களை எப்படி பரவுகிறார் என்றும், எப்படி முழங்குகிறார் என்றும் யாரால் விளங்கிக்கொள்ள முடியும்?
30 He causes lightning to flash all around him, but he causes the bottom of the oceans to remain dark.
அவர் தமது மின்னலைத் தம்மைச் சுற்றிலும் சிதறப்பண்ணி, கடலின் ஆழங்களை எப்படி மூடுகிறார் என்று பாரும்.
31 By providing plenty of rain for us, he enables us to have abundant food.
இவ்விதமாகவே அவர் மக்களை ஆளுகைசெய்து, ஏராளமான உணவையும் கொடுக்கிறார்.
32 [It is as though] he holds the lightning in his hands, and [then] he commands it to strike where he wants it to.
அவர் தம் கரங்களை மின்னலினால் நிரப்பி, குறிப்பிட்ட இலக்கைத் தாக்கும்படி அதற்குக் கட்டளையிடுகிறார்.
33 When we hear his thunder, we know that there will be a storm, and the cattle know it, too.”
அவருடைய இடிமுழக்கம் வரப்போகும் புயலை அறிவிக்கிறது; அதின் வருகையை மந்தைகள்கூடத் தெரிவிக்கும்.
