Job 23

1 Then Job replied again,

അപ്പോൾ ഇയ്യോബ് ഇപ്രകാരം മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു:

2 “Today I am again complaining bitterly/strongly [to God]; I [continue] groaning, but he [SYN] [continues to] (punish me/cause me to suffer).

“ഇന്നും എന്റെ സങ്കടം കയ്‌പുനിറഞ്ഞതാണ്; ഞാൻ ഞരങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾപ്പോലും അവിടത്തെ കൈ എനിക്കു ഭാരമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

3 I (wish that I knew/want to know) where I could meet/talk with him, so that I could go to the place where he lives.

തിരുനിവാസത്തിലേക്ക് എനിക്കു ചെല്ലാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ; അവിടത്തെ എവിടെ കണ്ടെത്താൻ എനിക്കു കഴിയുമെന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ!

4 If I could do that, I would tell him why [I know that] I am innocent; I would tell [MTY] to him all my (arguments/evidence [to show that I have not done what is evil]).

എന്റെ ആവലാതി ഞാൻ അവിടത്തെ മുമ്പിൽ ബോധിപ്പിക്കുകയും വാദങ്ങൾ എന്റെ നാവിൽനിന്ന് അനർഗളം പ്രവഹിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു.

5 Then I would find out what he would reply to me [DOU].

അവിടന്ന് എനിക്ക് എന്തുത്തരം അരുളുമെന്ന് അറിയാമായിരുന്നു. എന്താണ് അവിടത്തേക്ക് എന്നോടു പറയാനുള്ളതെന്നു ഗ്രഹിക്കാമായിരുന്നു.

6 Would he use his great power to argue with me? No, he would listen to me carefully.

തന്റെ ശക്തിയുടെ മഹത്ത്വത്താൽ അവിടന്ന് എന്നോടു വാദിക്കുമോ? ഇല്ല, തീർച്ചയായും അവിടന്ന് എന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുകയേയുള്ളൂ.

7 I am (an honest/a righteous) man; so I would be able to discuss things with him [fairly], and then he would declare that I am innocent, [and that decision would endure] forever.

തിരുസന്നിധിയിൽ നീതിനിഷ്ഠർക്ക് അവരുടെ നിരപരാധിത്വം ബോധിപ്പിക്കാം; അങ്ങനെ എന്റെ ന്യായാധിപനിൽനിന്നു ഞാൻ എന്നേക്കുമായി വിടുവിക്കപ്പെടുമായിരുന്നു.

8 “But, I have gone to the east, and he is not there; I have gone to the west, but I have not found him there.

“ഇതാ, ഞാൻ പൂർവദേശത്തേക്കു പോകുന്നു, എന്നാൽ അവിടന്ന് അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുകയില്ല; ഞാൻ പശ്ചിമദിക്കിലേക്കു പോകുന്നു, എന്നിട്ടും എനിക്ക് അവിടത്തെ കണ്ടെത്താൻ കഴിയുന്നില്ല.

9 I have gone north and I have gone south, but I have not seen him anywhere.

അവിടന്ന് പ്രവർത്തനനിരതനായിരിക്കുന്ന ഉത്തരദിക്കിലും അവിടത്തെ ദർശനം എനിക്കു ലഭിക്കുന്നില്ല; അവിടന്ന് ദക്ഷിണദിക്കിലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞിട്ടും എനിക്ക് ഒരു നോക്കു കാണാൻ കഴിയുന്നില്ല.

10 But he knows how I have conducted my life; and when he has finished testing me, [he] will [see that] I [am] as pure as [SIM] gold [whose impurities have all been burned out].

എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ പോകുന്നവഴി അവിടന്ന് അറിയുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ പരിശോധനയ്ക്കു വിധേയനായാൽ ഞാൻ സ്വർണംപോലെ പുറത്തുവരും.

11 I [SYN] have faithfully walked on the path that he showed me; I have not stopped [obeying] him.

എന്റെ കാലടികൾ അവിടത്തെ കാൽപ്പാടുകൾതന്നെ പിൻതുടരുന്നു; ഞാൻ വിട്ടുമാറാതെ അവിടത്തെ വഴിയിൽത്തന്നെ സഞ്ചരിച്ചു.

12 I have always obeyed what he [SYN] commanded; I have treasured the words that he has spoken.

അവിടത്തെ അധരങ്ങളിൽനിന്നുള്ള കൽപ്പനയിൽനിന്ന് ഞാൻ വ്യതിചലിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; തിരുവായിൽനിന്നുള്ള വചനങ്ങൾ എന്റെ അനുദിനാഹാരത്തെക്കാൾ മൂല്യവത്തായി ഞാൻ സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

13 “He never changes. There is no one who can [RHQ] stop him [from doing what he desires]. Whatever he wants to do, he does.

“എന്നാൽ അവിടന്നു മാറ്റമില്ലാത്തവൻ; അവിടത്തോട് എതിർത്തുനിൽക്കാൻ ആർക്കു കഴിയും? തിരുഹിതം അവിടന്നു പ്രാവർത്തികമാക്കുന്നു.

14 And he will finish doing for me the things that he has planned for me; [and I am sure that] he has thought about doing many things for me.

തന്റെ വിധിന്യായം അവിടന്ന് എന്റെമേൽ നടപ്പാക്കുന്നു; അപ്രകാരമുള്ള പല പദ്ധതികളും അവിടത്തെ ഭണ്ഡാരത്തിലുണ്ട്.

15 So I am terrified in his presence; when I think [about what he can do], I am very afraid [DOU].

അതിനാൽ അവിടത്തെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഞാൻ അങ്കലാപ്പിലാകുന്നു; ഇതേപ്പറ്റി ആലോചിക്കുമ്പോൾ, ഞാൻ അവിടത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു.

16 Almighty God has caused me [SYN] to feel terrified [DOU].

ദൈവം എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ തളർത്തിക്കളഞ്ഞു; സർവശക്തൻ എന്നെ പരിഭ്രാന്തനാക്കി.

17 [It is as though] there is only thick darkness in front of me, but it is God that I am afraid of, not the darkness.”

എന്നിട്ടും ഇരുട്ടിന്, എന്റെ മുഖത്തെ മറയ്ക്കുന്ന കൂരിരുട്ടിന്, എന്നെ നിശ്ശബ്ദനാക്കാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.
