Jeremiah 43
1 [So] I finished telling to the people that message from Yahweh our God.
Oo markii Yeremyaah uu wada dhammeeyey dadka oo dhan lahadliddiisii uu u sheegayay erayadii Rabbiga Ilaahooda ah oo dhan, ee Rabbiga Ilaahooda ahu uu ugu soo dhiibay, kuwaasoo ah erayadan oo dhan,
2 But then Johanan and Azariah and some other insolent/arrogant men said to me, “You are lying! Yahweh our God has not told [us] that we should not go to Egypt!
ayaa waxaa hadlay Casaryaah ina Hooshacyaah, iyo Yooxaanaan ina Qaaree'ax, iyo raggii kibirsanaa oo dhan, oo waxay Yeremyaah ku yidhaahdeen, Been baad sheegaysaa. Rabbiga Ilaaheenna ahu kuuma soo dirin inaad tidhaahdid, Masar ha tegina inaad halkaas joogtaan,
3 [We think that] Baruch has urged/persuaded you to say this, in order that [if we stay here], the soldiers from Babylonia will seize us and kill us or take us to Babylonia.”
laakiinse Baaruug ina Neeriiyaah ayaa nagu soo kaa diray, si uu gacanta reer Kaldayiin noogu rido inay na laayaan, oo ay maxaabiis ahaan Baabuloon noogu kaxaystaan.
4 So Johanan and the other leaders of the [Israeli] soldiers and [many of] [HYP] the other people [who were there] refused to obey Yahweh’s command to stay in Judah.
Markaasay Yooxaanaan ina Qaaree'ax, iyo saraakiishii ciidammada oo dhan, iyo dadkii oo dhammuba addeeci waayeen codkii Rabbiga inay dalkii Yahuudah degganaadaan.
5 Johanan and all the [other] leaders gathered together all the people who had returned from the other countries to which they had been scattered.
Laakiinse dadkii Yahuudah ee hadhay oo dhan oo ka soo noqday quruumihii loo kala kaxaystay oo dhan si ay dalkii Yahuudah u degganaadaan waxaa kexeeyey Yooxaanaan ina Qaaree'ax iyo saraakiisha ciidammada oo dhan.
6 [They included] men, women, children, the king’s daughters, and all those whom Nebuzaradan had left with Gedaliah, and they also took Baruch and me.
Dadkaasu waxay ahaayeen raggii, iyo naagihii, iyo carruurtii, iyo gabdhihii boqorka, iyo qof kasta oo Nebuusaradaan oo ahaa sirkaalkii waardiyayaashu uu kaga tegey Gedalyaah ina Ahiiqaam oo ahaa ina Shaafaan, iyo Nebi Yeremyaah, iyo Baaruug ina Neeriiyaah.
7 They refused to obey Yahweh, and they took us all [to Egypt], as far as Tahpenes [city].
Oo waxay yimaadeen dalkii Masar, waayo, ma ay addeecin codkii Rabbiga, oo waxay yimaadeen ilaa Taxfanxees.
8 [While we were] at Tahpenes, Yahweh gave me another message. He said,
Markaas Eraygii Rabbiga ayaa Yeremyaah ugu yimid Taxfanxees, oo wuxuu ku yidhi,
9 “While the people of Judah are watching you, take some large rocks and bury them under the brick pavement at the entrance to the king’s palace there at Tahpenes.
Dhagxan waaweyn gacanta ku qaad, oo iyadoo ay dadka dalka Yahuudah u wada jeedaan waxaad ku dhex qarisaa meesha lebenku yaal ee iridda laga galo guriga Fircoon ee Taxfanxees ku yaal.
10 Then say to the people of Judah, ‘This is what the Commander of the armies of angels, the God whom [you] Israelis [say you belong to], says: “I will summon Nebuchadnezzar the King of Babylon, who does my work, to come [with his army] to Egypt. I will set up his throne over these stones that I told Jeremiah to bury. And Nebuchadnezzar will set up his tent there [to show that he has become] the King [of Egypt].
Oo waxaad iyaga ku tidhaadaa, Rabbiga ciidammada oo ah Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iil wuxuu leeyahay, Bal ogaada, waxaan soo kaxayn doonaa addoonkayga Nebukadresar oo ah boqorka Baabuloon, oo carshigiisaan ka dul qotomin doonaa dhagaxantan aan qariyey, oo isna wuxuu ku dul fidin doonaa taambuuggiisa boqornimo.
11 When his [army] comes, they will attack Egypt. Then those will die who [I have determined] must die, those who [I have determined] must be captured will be captured, and those who [I have determined] must be killed by swords will be killed by swords.
Oo isagu wuu iman doonaa oo wax buu dalka Masar ku dhufan doonaa, oo kuwii dhimasho ku waajibtay dhimashuu siin doonaa, kuwii maxaabiisnimo ku waajibtayna maxaabiis ahaan buu u kaxaysan doonaa, oo kuwii seefu ku waajibtayna seef buu ku layn doonaa.
12 Nebuchadnezzar’s [soldiers] will burn down the temples of the gods of Egypt. [But before they burn the temples], they will take away their idols [as souvenirs]. His [troops] will clean Egypt like a shepherd cleans lice from his cloak. They will tear down the sacred pillars that are in the temple of their sun god. And then Nebuchadnezzar’s [troops] will leave there, without having been harmed.”’”
Oo waxaan dab ku dayn doonaa guryaha ilaahyada Masar, oo isna wuu gubi doonaa, oo maxaabiis ahaan buu u kaxaysan doonaa, oo isagu wuxuu dalka Masar u huwan doonaa sida adhijir uu dharkiisa u huwado oo kale, oo halkaasna nabad buu kaga bixi doonaa.
Oo weliba wuxuu wada burburin doonaa tiirarka Beytshemesh oo dalka Masar ku dhex taal, oo guryaha ilaahyada Masarna dab buu ku wada gubi doonaa.
