Isaiah 59
1 Listen to this! Yahweh’s power [MTY] is not ended/gone, with the result that he cannot save [you]. He has not become deaf [MTY], with the result that he cannot hear [you when you call to him for help].
१सुनो, यहोवा का हाथ ऐसा छोटा नहीं हो गया कि उद्धार न कर सके, न वह ऐसा बहरा हो गया है कि सुन न सके;
2 But, you have separated yourselves from your God by the sins that you have committed. Because of your sins, he has turned away from you, with the result that he does not pay attention to what you request him to do.
२परन्तु तुम्हारे अधर्म के कामों ने तुम को तुम्हारे परमेश्वर से अलग कर दिया है, और तुम्हारे पापों के कारण उसका मुँह तुम से ऐसा छिपा है कि वह नहीं सुनता।
3 You do violent things [MTY] [to others], with the result that your hands are stained with their blood. You [constantly] tell [MTY] lies, and you say [MTY] evil things [about others].
३क्योंकि तुम्हारे हाथ हत्या से और तुम्हारी अंगुलियाँ अधर्म के कर्मों से अपवित्र हो गईं हैं, तुम्हारे मुँह से तो झूठ और तुम्हारी जीभ से कुटिल बातें निकलती हैं।
4 When you accuse someone in court, what you say is not fair and it is not true. You accuse people falsely. You are [constantly] planning to cause trouble for others, and then you do those evil things that you planned.
४कोई धर्म के साथ नालिश नहीं करता, न कोई सच्चाई से मुकद्दमा लड़ता है; वे मिथ्या पर भरोसा रखते हैं और झूठी बातें बकते हैं; उसको मानो उत्पात का गर्भ रहता, और वे अनर्थ को जन्म देते हैं।
5 What you plan to do to harm people [MET] is as dangerous as the eggs of a (cobra/poisonous snake), because cobras will hatch from those eggs. You trap people like [MET] spiders trap/catch insects in their webs.
५वे साँपिन के अण्डे सेते और मकड़ी के जाले बनाते हैं; जो कोई उनके अण्डे खाता वह मर जाता है, और जब कोई एक को फोड़ता तब उसमें से सपोला निकलता है।
6 We people cannot hide/cover our skin with clothes made of spider webs [MET], and similarly you cannot hide the evil things that you have done. You are [constantly] acting [MTY] violently.
६उनके जाले कपड़े का काम न देंगे, न वे अपने कामों से अपने को ढाँप सकेंगे। क्योंकि उनके काम अनर्थ ही के होते हैं, और उनके हाथों से उपद्रव का काम होता है।
7 You [SYN] are very quick to go and do evil things, and you hurry to murder people [MTY] who are innocent. You are [continually] thinking about sinning. Wherever you go, you destroy things and cause people to suffer.
७वे बुराई करने को दौड़ते हैं, और निर्दोष की हत्या करने को तत्पर रहते हैं; उनकी युक्तियाँ व्यर्थ हैं, उजाड़ और विनाश ही उनके मार्गों में हैं।
8 You do not know how to act peacefully or to treat others fairly. You always are (dishonest/deceiving others) [MET], and those who imitate your behavior never have any inner peace.
८शान्ति का मार्ग वे जानते ही नहीं; और न उनके व्यवहार में न्याय है; उनके पथ टेढ़े हैं, जो कोई उन पर चले वह शान्ति न पाएगा।
9 Because of that, God does not rescue us [from our enemies]; [it seems that] he is not acting fairly/righteously toward us. We expect [God to give us] light, but all [he gives us] is darkness [DOU].
९इस कारण न्याय हम से दूर है, और धर्म हमारे समीप ही नहीं आता; हम उजियाले की बाट तो जोहते हैं, परन्तु, देखो अंधियारा ही बना रहता है, हम प्रकाश की आशा तो लगाए हैं, परन्तु, घोर अंधकार ही में चलते हैं।
10 We are like [SIM] blind people who have to feel along a wall to be able to walk anywhere. We stumble [and trip] at noontime like [SIM] we would when it is dark. We are like [SIM] dead people who are among healthy people.
१०हम अंधों के समान दीवार टटोलते हैं, हाँ, हम बिना आँख के लोगों के समान टटोलते हैं; हम दिन दोपहर रात के समान ठोकर खाते हैं, हष्टपुष्टों के बीच हम मुर्दों के समान हैं।
11 We growl like [SIM] [hungry] bears; we continually moan like [SIM] doves. We seek [people who do] what is just/fair, but we cannot find any [anywhere]. [We want God] to rescue us, but [it seems that] he is far away.
११हम सब के सब रीछों के समान चिल्लाते हैं और पिण्डुकों के समान च्यूं-च्यूं करते हैं; हम न्याय की बाट तो जोहते हैं, पर वह कहीं नहीं; और उद्धार की बाट जोहते हैं पर वह हम से दूर ही रहता है।
12 [But these things are happening] because [it is as though] our sins are piled high in the presence of God, and that they testify [PRS] against us. We cannot deny it; we know that we have done many wrong things.
१२क्योंकि हमारे अपराध तेरे सामने बहुत हुए हैं, हमारे पाप हमारे विरुद्ध साक्षी दे रहे हैं; हमारे अपराध हमारे संग हैं और हम अपने अधर्म के काम जानते हैं:
13 [We know that] we have rebelled against Yahweh; we have turned away from him. We (oppress people/treat people cruelly) by what we testify [against them]; we do not allow them to get what they have a right to get. We [SYN] think about the lies that we can tell, and then we tell them.
१३हमने यहोवा का अपराध किया है, हम उससे मुकर गए और अपने परमेश्वर के पीछे चलना छोड़ दिया, हम अंधेर करने लगे और उलट-फेर की बातें कहीं, हमने झूठी बातें मन में गढ़ीं और कही भी हैं।
14 [In our courts, the judges] do not decide cases/matters fairly; no one is acting righteously. In plazas where people gather together, no one tells the truth [PRS]; [it seems that people] are not allowed to say what is true.
१४न्याय तो पीछे हटाया गया और धर्म दूर खड़ा रह गया; सच्चाई बाजार में गिर पड़ी, और सिधाई प्रवेश नहीं करने पाती।
15 No one tells the truth, and people try to ruin [the reputations of] those who quit doing evil. Yahweh looked around, and he saw that no one was doing what is just/fair, and he was [very] displeased.
१५हाँ, सच्चाई खो गई, और जो बुराई से भागता है वह शिकार हो जाता है। यह देखकर यहोवा ने बुरा माना, क्योंकि न्याय जाता रहा।
16 He was disgusted when he saw that no one tried to help [those who were being treated cruelly]. So he used his own power [MTY] to rescue them; it is because he is always righteous that he did that [PRS].
१६उसने देखा कि कोई भी पुरुष नहीं, और इससे अचम्भा किया कि कोई विनती करनेवाला नहीं; तब उसने अपने ही भुजबल से उद्धार किया, और अपने धर्मी होने के कारण वह सम्भल गया।
17 [It is as though he is a soldier who] [MET] puts on his armor and a helmet; his continually doing what is right is like [MET] his armor, and his ability to rescue people is [like] his helmet. His being extremely angry and his being ready to get revenge [on those who do evil] are like [MET] his robes.
१७उसने धार्मिकता को झिलम के समान पहन लिया, और उसके सिर पर उद्धार का टोप रखा गया; उसने बदला लेने का वस्त्र धारण किया, और जलजलाहट को बागे के समान पहन लिया है।
18 He will repay his enemies for the evil things that they have done. He will severely punish [MTY] even those who live far [from Jerusalem].
१८उनके कर्मों के अनुसार वह उनको फल देगा, अपने द्रोहियों पर वह अपना क्रोध भड़काएगा और अपने शत्रुओं को उनकी कमाई देगा; वह द्वीपवासियों को भी उनकी कमाई भर देगा।
19 When that happens, people everywhere, from the east to the west, will respect and honor Yahweh [MTY], because he will come like [SIM] a rushing river that is pushed along by the strong wind that Yahweh sent.
१९तब पश्चिम की ओर लोग यहोवा के नाम का, और पूर्व की ओर उसकी महिमा का भय मानेंगे; क्योंकि जब शत्रु महानद के समान चढ़ाई करेंगे तब यहोवा का आत्मा उसके विरुद्ध झण्डा खड़ा करेगा।
20 And Yahweh says that he will come to Jerusalem to free [his people]; he will come to rescue those in Judah who have quit (doing sinful things/their sinful behavior).
२०“याकूब में जो अपराध से मन फिराते हैं उनके लिये सिय्योन में एक छुड़ानेवाला आएगा,” यहोवा की यही वाणी है।
21 This is what Yahweh says to his people: “This is the agreement that I will make with you: My Spirit will not leave you, and you will always have my message. You will [be able to] declare it [MTY], and your children and grandchildren will [be able to] declare it forever.”
२१यहोवा यह कहता है, “जो वाचा मैंने उनसे बाँधी है वह यह है, कि मेरा आत्मा तुझ पर ठहरा है, और अपने वचन जो मैंने तेरे मुँह में डाले हैं अब से लेकर सर्वदा तक वे तेरे मुँह से, और तेरे पुत्रों और पोतों के मुँह से भी कभी न हटेंगे।”
