Isaiah 4
1 When that happens, [there will be very few unmarried men still alive]. [As a result], seven [unmarried] women will grab one man, and say, “Allow us [all] to marry you [IDM]! We will provide our own food and clothing. All that we want is to no longer be disgraced [because of not being married].”
Nianang adlawa pito ka babaye ang mogunit sa usa ka lalaki ug moingon, “Ang among kaugalingong pagkaon ang among kan-on, ang among kaugalingong bisti ang among sul-obon. Apan tugoti kami nga mobaton sa imong ngalan aron pagkuha sa among kaulawan.”
2 [But] some day, Israel [MTY] will be [very] beautiful and great/glorious. The people of Israel who will still be there will be very proud of the wonderful fruit that grows in their land.
Nianang adlawa mahimong nindot ug mahimayaon ang sanga ni Yahweh, ug mahimong lamian ug makapahimuot ang abot sa yuta alang niadtong mga nahibilin sa Israel.
3 All the people who will remain in Jerusalem, who were not killed when Jerusalem was destroyed, whose names are listed among those who live there, will be [called] holy.
Mahitabo kini nga ang mahibilin sa Zion ug ang magpabilin sa Jerusalem pagatawagon nga balaan, ang matag usa nga nahisulat ingon nga nagpuyo sa Jerusalem.
4 [That will happen when] Yahweh washes away the guilt of the women of Jerusalem, and when he stops the violence [MET] [on the streets of Jerusalem] by punishing [the people of Jerusalem]. When he does that, it will be like a fire to burn up all the impure things.
Mahitabo kini sa dihang banlason sa Ginoo ang ikalima nga anak nga babaye sa Zion, ug hinloan ang mga mansa nga dugo gikan sa taliwala sa Jerusalem, pinaagi sa espiritu sa paghukom ug sa espiritu sa nagdilaab nga kalayo.
5 Then Yahweh will send a cloud of smoke every day and a flaming fire every night to cover Jerusalem and [all] those who gather there; it will be [like] a glorious canopy over the city
Unya magbuhat ug panganod ug aso si Yahweh sa tibuok dapit sa Bukid sa Zion ug ibabaw sa dapit sa iyang tigomanan, maghimo si Yahweh ug panganod ug aso panahon sa adlaw, ug masiga nga dilaab sa kalayo panahon sa kagabhion; mahimo kining silonganan labaw sa tanang himaya.
6 that will shelter the people from the sun during the daytime and protect them when there are windstorms and rain.
Mahimo kining silonganan ang landong gikan sa kainit panahon sa adlaw, ug usa ka dalangpanan ug usa ka salipdanan gikan sa unos ug ulan.
