Isaiah 12

1 At that time, you [people of Jerusalem] will sing [this song]: “Yahweh, we praise you! [Previously], you were angry with us, but you are not angry now and you have comforted us.

Ug niadtong adlawa ikaw magaingon: Pagapasalamatan ko ikaw, Oh Jehova; kay bisan ikaw nasuko kanako, ang imong kasuko gikuha mo, ug ako gilipay mo.

2 Amazingly, you [have come to] save us, [so] we will trust [in you] and not be afraid. Yahweh our God, you enable us to be strong; you are [the one about whom] we sing; you have rescued us [from our enemies].”

Ania karon, ang Dios mao ang akong kaluwasan; ako masalig, ug dili mahadlok: kay si Jehova, bisan si Jehova, mao ang akong kusog ug ang akong alawiton; ug siya nahimong kaluwasan ko.

3 You(pl), [his people], will greatly enjoy being saved like [MET] you enjoy drinking water from a fountain.

Busa uban ang kalipay kamo managtimba ug tubig gikan sa mga atabay sa kaluwasan.

4 At that time you [all] will say, “We should thank Yahweh! We should praise him [MTY]! We should tell [the people of all] the people-groups what he has done; we should enable them to know that he [MTY] is very great!

Ug niadtong adlawa kamo magaingon: Pasalamati si Jehova, sangpita ang iyang ngalan, ipahayag ang iyang mga buhat sa taliwala sa mga katawohan, pahibalo nga ang iyang ngalan ginabayaw.

5 We should sing to Yahweh, because he has done wonderful things. We should enable everyone in the world to know it!

Manag-awit kamo kang Jehova; kay siya nakabuhat ug mga butang maayo uyamut: isangyaw kini sa tibook nga yuta.

6 You people of Jerusalem, shout joyfully to praise Yahweh, because he is the great Holy One whom we Israeli [people worship], and he lives among us!”

Suminggit ka ug tumiyabaw, ikaw pumoluyo sa Sion; kay daku ang Balaan sa Israel sa imong kinataliwad-an.
