Genesis 5
1 Here is a list of the descendants of Adam. When God created humans, he caused them to be like him in many ways.
Inilah daftar keturunan Adam. Pada waktu manusia itu diciptakan oleh Allah, dibuat-Nyalah dia menurut rupa Allah;
2 He created one man and one woman. He blessed them, and on the day that he created them, he called them ‘human beings’.

3 When Adam was 130 years old, he became the father of a son who [grew up to] be just like him. That was the son he named Seth.

4 After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 more years, and during those years he became the father of other sons and daughters.

5 Adam lived 930 years altogether, and then he died.
Jadi Adam mencapai umur sembilan ratus tiga puluh tahun, lalu ia mati.
6 When Seth was 105 years old, he became the father of Enosh.
Setelah Set hidup seratus lima tahun, ia memperanakkan Enos.
7 After Enosh was born, Seth lived 807 more years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.

8 Seth lived 912 years altogether, and then he died.

13 After Mahalalel was born, Kenan lived 840 more years and became the father of other sons and daughters.

14 Kenan lived 910 years altogether, and then he died.

15 When Mahalalel was 65 years old, he became the father of Jared.
Setelah Mahalaleel hidup enam puluh lima tahun, ia memperanakkan Yared.
16 After Jared was born, Mahalalel lived 830 more years and became the father of other sons and daughters.
Dan Mahalaleel masih hidup delapan ratus tiga puluh tahun, setelah ia memperanakkan Yared, dan ia memperanakkan anak-anak lelaki dan perempuan.
17 Mahalalel lived 895 years altogether, and then he died.

18 When Jared was 162 years old, he became the father of Enoch.
Setelah Yared hidup seratus enam puluh dua tahun, ia memperanakkan Henokh.
19 Jared lived 800 years after Enoch was born, and he became the father of other sons and daughters.

20 Jared lived 962 years altogether, and then he died.

21 When Enoch was 65 years old, he became the father of Methuselah.
Setelah Henokh hidup enam puluh lima tahun, ia memperanakkan Metusalah.
22 Enoch lived in close fellowship with God for 300 years after Methuselah was born, and he became the father of other sons and daughters.
Dan Henokh hidup bergaul dengan Allah selama tiga ratus tahun lagi, setelah ia memperanakkan Metusalah, dan ia memperanakkan anak-anak lelaki dan perempuan.
23 Enoch lived 365 years altogether in close fellowship with God.
Jadi Henokh mencapai umur tiga ratus enam puluh lima tahun.
24 Then one day he disappeared, because God took him away [to be with him in heaven].
Dan Henokh hidup bergaul dengan Allah, lalu ia tidak ada lagi, sebab ia telah diangkat oleh Allah.
25 When Methuselah was 187 years old, he became the father of Lamech.
Setelah Metusalah hidup seratus delapan puluh tujuh tahun, ia memperanakkan Lamekh.
26 Methuselah lived 782 years after Lamech was born, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
Dan Metusalah masih hidup tujuh ratus delapan puluh dua tahun, setelah ia memperanakkan Lamekh, dan ia memperanakkan anak-anak lelaki dan perempuan.
27 Methuselah lived 969 years altogether, and then he died.
Jadi Metusalah mencapai umur sembilan ratus enam puluh sembilan tahun, lalu ia mati.
28 When Lamech was 182 years old, he became the father of a son,
Setelah Lamekh hidup seratus delapan puluh dua tahun, ia memperanakkan seorang anak laki-laki,
29 whom he named Noah, [which sounds like the Hebrew word that means ‘relief’], because he said, “He will bring us relief from all the hard work we have been doing to produce food from the ground that Yahweh cursed.”
dan memberi nama Nuh kepadanya, katanya: "Anak ini akan memberi kepada kita penghiburan dalam pekerjaan kita yang penuh susah payah di tanah yang telah terkutuk oleh TUHAN."
30 Lamech lived 595 years after Noah was born and became the father of other sons and daughters.
Dan Lamekh masih hidup lima ratus sembilan puluh lima tahun, setelah ia memperanakkan Nuh, dan ia memperanakkan anak-anak lelaki dan perempuan.
31 Lamech lived 777 years altogether, and then he died.
Jadi Lamekh mencapai umur tujuh ratus tujuh puluh tujuh tahun, lalu ia mati.
32 When Noah was 500 years old, he became the father of a son whom he named Shem. Later he became the father of another son whom he named Ham, and later he became the father of another son whom he named Japheth.
Setelah Nuh berumur lima ratus tahun, ia memperanakkan Sem, Ham dan Yafet.
