Genesis 36
1 (Here is/I will now give you) a list of the descendants of Esau, whose other name was Edom.
А ово је племе Исавово, а он је Едом.
2 Esau married three women from the Canaan region: Adah, the daughter of Elon from the Heth people-group; Oholibamah, who was the daughter of Anah and granddaughter of Zibeon from the Hiv people-group;
Исав се ожени између кћери хананејских Адом кћерју Елома Хетејина, и Оливемом кћерју Ане сина Севегона Евејина,
3 and Basemath, who was the daughter of Ishmael and sister of Nebaioth.
И Васематом кћерју Исмаиловом, сестром Навеотовом.
4 Esau’s wife Adah gave birth to Eliphaz. Basemath gave birth to Reuel.
И роди Ада Исаву Елифаса, а Васемата роди Рагуила.
5 Oholibamah gave birth to Jeush, Jalam, and Korah. All these sons of Esau were born while he was living in the Canaan region.
А Оливема роди Јеуса и Јеглома и Кореја. То су синови Исавови, који му се родише у земљи хананској.
6 Jacob and Esau had very many possessions. The result was that they needed more land for their livestock. The land where they were living was not big enough for both of them. They had too much livestock. So Esau, whose other name was Edom, had taken his wives and sons and daughters and all the other members of his household, his sheep and goats and his other animals, and all the other things he had obtained in Canaan land, and they had moved to an area that was away from Jacob.
И Исав узе жене своје и синове своје и кћери своје и све домашње своје, и стада своја и сву стоку своју и све благо своје што беше стекао у земљи хананској; па отиде у другу земљу далеко од Јакова брата свог.
Јер им благо беше врло велико, те не могаху живети заједно; нити их земља где беху дошљаци могаше носити од множине стоке њихове.
8 They went to live in the Seir hilly area.
И Исав живеше на планини Сиру Исав је Едом.
9 (Here is/I will now give you) another list of the male descendants of Esau. He was the ancestor of the Edom people-group who live in the Seir area.
А ово је племе Исава оца Едомцима на планини Сиру.
10 Esau’s wife Adah gave birth to Eliphaz, and Esau’s wife Basemath gave birth to Reuel.
Ово су имена синова Исавових: Елифас син Аде жене Исавове, и Ратуило син Васемате жене Исавове.
11 The sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, and Kenaz.
А Елифасови синови беху: Теман, Омар, Софар, Готом и Кенез.
12 Esau’s son Eliphaz also had a (concubine/female slave whom he took as a secondary wife). Her name was Timna. She gave birth to Amalek. Those six men were grandsons of Esau’s wife Adah.
А Тамна беше иноча Елифасу сину Исавовом, и роди Елифасу Амалика. То су синови Аде жене Исавове.
13 Reuel’s sons were Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah. They were grandsons of Esau’s wife Basemath.
А ово су синови Рагуилови: Нахот, Заре, Соме и Мозе. То беху синови Васемате, жене Исавове.
14 Esau’s wife Oholibamah, who was the daughter of Anah and granddaughter of Zibeon, gave birth to three sons: Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.
А ово су синови Оливеме кћери Ане сина Севегоновог, жене Исавове. Она роди Исаву Јеуса и Јеглома и Кореја.
15 (Here is/I will now give you) a list of the people-groups who were descendants of Esau. His oldest son Eliphaz was the ancestor of the Teman people-group, the Omar people-group, the Zepho people-group, the Kenaz people-group,
Ово су старешине синова Исавових: синови Елифаса првенца Исавовог: старешина Теман, старешина Омар, старешина Софар, старешина Кенез,
16 the Korah people-group, the Gatam people-group, and the Amalek people-group. They were descendants of Eliphaz and of Esau’s wife Adah. They lived in the Edom region.
Старешина Кореј, старешина Готим, старешина Амалик. То су старешине од Елифаса у земљи едомској. То су синови Адини.
17 The sons of Esau’s son Reuel were ancestors of the Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah people-groups. They were descended from Esau’s wife Basemath. They also lived in Edom.
А синови Рагуила сина Исавовог: старешина Нахот, старешина Заре, старешина Соме, старешина Мозе. То су старешине од Рагуила у земљи едомској. То су синови Васемате жене Исавове.
18 The sons of Esau’s wife Oholibamah, whose mother was Anah, were ancestors of the Jeush, Jalam, and Korah people-groups.
А синови Оливеме жене Исавове: старешина Јеус, старешина Јеглом, старешина Кореј: то су старешине од Оливеме кћери Анине, жене Исавове.
19 That is the list of the sons of Esau, and the people-groups who were their descendants.
То су синови Исавови, и то су старешине њихове; а он је Едом.
20 (This is/I will now give you) a list of the descendants of Seir, who belonged to the Hor people-group, who were the first people-group who lived in the Edom region: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,
А ово су синови Сира Хорејина, који живеху у оној земљи: Лотан и Совал и Севегон и Ана,
21 Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan. Those seven men became ancestors of people-groups. Each of the people-groups had the same name as the name of their ancestor.
И Дисон и Асар и Рисон. То су старешине Хорејима, синови Сирови у земљи едомској.
22 The sons of Lotan were Hori and Heman and Lotan’s sister was Timna.
А синови Лотанови беху Хорије и Емам, а сестра Лотанова беше Тамна.
23 The sons of Shobal were Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
А ово су синови Совалови: Голам и Манахат и Гевил и Софар и Омар.
24 The sons of Zibeon were Aiah and Anah. This Anah was the one who discovered the hot springs in the desert while he was taking care of his father Zibeon’s donkeys.
А ово су синови Севегонови: Аије и Ана. А тај је Ана који пронађе топле изворе у пустињи пасући магарице Севегона оца свог.
25 Anah had two children—a son named Dishon and a daughter named Oholibamah.
А ово су деца Анина: Дисон и Оливема кћи Анина.
26 Dishon’s sons were Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran, and Keran.
А ово су синови Дисонови: Амада и Асван и Итран и Харан.
27 Ezer’s sons were Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan.
А ово су синови Асарови: Валам и Заван и Акан.
28 Dishan’s sons were Uz and Aran.
А ово су синови Рисонови: Уз и Аран.
29 The people-groups who were descendants of Hor lived in the Seir/Edom region. The names of the people-groups are Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan.
И ово су старешине Хорејима: старешина Лотан, старешина Совал, старешина Севегон, старешина Ана,
Старешина Дисон, старешина Асар, старешина Рисон. То су старешине Хорејима, како им старешоваху у земљи Сиру.
31 These are the names of the kings who ruled in Edom before any kings ruled over Israel.
А ово су цареви који цароваше у земљи едомској пре него се зацари цар над синовима Израиљевим.
32 Beor’s son Bela became the first king in Edom. The city where he lived was named Dinhabah.
Царова у едомској Валак син Веоров, а граду му беше име Денава.
33 When Bela died, Zerah’s son Jobab/became the king. He was from Bozrah [city].
А кад умре Валак, зацари се на његово место Јовав син Зарин од Восоре.
34 When Jobab died, Husham became the king. He was from the region where the Teman people-group lived.
А кад умре Јовав, зацари се на његово место Асом од земље темановске.
35 When Husham died, Bedad’s son Hadan became the king. Husham’s army fought the army of the Midian people-group in the Moab region and defeated them. The city where Husham lived was Avith.
А кад умре Асом, зацари се на његово место Адад син Варадов, који исече Мадијане у пољу моавском, а граду му беше име Гетен.
36 When Hadad died, Samlah became the king. He was from Masrekah [town].
А кад умре Адад, зацари се на његово место Самада, из Масекаса.
37 When Samlah died, Shaul became the king. He was from Rehoboth [town] along the [Euphrates] river.
А кад умре Самада, зацари се на његово место Саул из Ровота на реци.
38 When Shaul died, Achbor’s son Baal-Hanan became king.
А кад умре Саул, зацари се на његово место Валенон син Аховоров.
39 When Achbor’s son Baal-Hanan died, Hadad became king. The city where he lived was named Pau. His wife’s name was Mehetabel. She was the daughter of Matred, who was the daughter of Me-Zahab.
А кад умре Валенон син Аховоров, зацари се на његово место Адар, а град му се зваше Фогор, а жени му беше име Метевеила, која беше кћи Матраиде кћери Мезевове.
40 (Here is/I will now give you) a list of all the people-groups that were descendants of Esau: Timna, Alvah, Jetheth, Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon, Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar, Magdiel, and Iram. They all lived in the Edom region. The land where each people-group lived got the same name as the name of the people-group.
И ово су племена старешинама од Исава по породицама њиховим, по местима њиховим, по именима њиховим: старешина Тамна, старешина Гола, старешина Јетер,
Старешина Оливема, старешина Ила, старешина Финон,
Старешина Кенез, старешина Теман, старешина Мазар,
Старешина Магедило, старешина Зафој: то су старешине едомске како наставаху у својој земљи. Овај Исав би отац Едомцима.
