Ezra 10
1 While I was kneeling down in front of the temple and praying and crying, I was confessing [the sins that the Israeli people had committed]. Many people, men and women and children, gathered around me and also cried very much.
၁ထိုသို့ ဧဇရ သည် ဘုရား သခင်၏ အိမ် တော်ရှေ့ မှာ ပြပ်ဝပ် လျက်၊ မျက်ရည် ကျလျက် တောင်းပန် ၍ ပဌနာ ပြုသောအခါ ၊ အလွန် များစွာ သော ပရိသတ် ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး ယောက်ျား ၊ မိန်းမ ၊ သူငယ် တို့သည် ဧဇရ ထံ မှာ စည်းဝေး ၍ အလွန် ငိုကြွေး ကြ၏။
2 Then Shecaniah, the son of Jehiel from the clan of Elam, said this to me: “We have disobeyed God. [Some of] us have married women who are not Israelis. But we can still confidently expect [Yahweh to be merciful to] us Israeli people.
၂ဧလံ အမျိုး ၊ ယေဟေလ သား ရှေကနိ ကလည်း၊ ငါ တို့သည် ကိုယ် ဘုရား သခင်ကို ပြစ်မှား ၍ ၊ ဤပြည် ၌ နေသောတပါး အမျိုးသားမိန်းမ တို့နှင့် စုံဘက် ကြပြီ။ သို့ရာတွင် ဤ အမှုမှာ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး မြော်လင့် စရာ ရှိ သေး၏။
3 We will do what you, and the others who have an awesome respect for what our God has commanded, tell us to do. We will do what God told us in his laws. We will make an agreement with our God, saying that we will divorce our wives who are not Israelis, and we will send them away with their children.
၃သို့ဖြစ်၍ အရှင်ဘုရားအစရှိသော ငါ တို့ ဘုရား သခင်၏ ပညတ် တရားကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ သောသူတို့ သတိ ပေးသည်အတိုင်း ၊ ဤမိန်းမ များနှင့် သူ တို့ သား သမီး များရှိသမျှ ကို စွန့်ပယ် မည်ဟု ငါ တို့၏ဘုရား သခင့် ရှေ့တော်၌ အဓိဋ္ဌာန် ပြု ကြကုန်အံ့။ ဤအမှုကို တရား ရှိသည် အတိုင်း စီရင် ကြကုန်အံ့။
4 (It is your responsibility to/Because you are our leader, you must) [tell us what to do]. So get up, and be courageous, and do [what is necessary]. We will (support you/tell people to do what you say).”
၄ထ တော်မူပါ။ ဤအမှု ကို ကိုယ်တော် ဆိုင်ပါ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့သည်လည်း ဝိုင်း၍မစကြပါမည်။ ရဲရင့် သောစိတ် ရှိ၍ ပြု တော်မူပါဟု ဧဇရအားပြန်ပြောကြလျှင်၊
5 So I stood up and demanded that the leaders of the priests, the [other] descendants of Levi, and all [the other] Israeli people solemnly declare that they would do what Shecaniah said that they should do. So they all solemnly promised to do that.
၅ဧဇရ သည်ထ ၍ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အကြီး ၊ လေဝိ သား၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားအပေါင်း တို့သည် ထို စကား အတိုင်း ပြု ရမည်အကြောင်း သူတို့အား အကျိန် ပေး၍ သူတို့သည် ကျိန်ဆို ကြ၏။
6 Then I went away from the front of the temple and went to the room where Jehohanan lived. I stayed there that night, but I did not eat or drink anything. I was still sad because some of the Israelis who had returned [from Babylonia] had not faithfully obeyed [God’s laws].
၆ထိုအခါ ဧဇရ သည် ဘုရား သခင်၏ အိမ် တော် ရှေ့ က ထ၍၊ ဧလျာရှိပ် သား ယောဟနန် အခန်း သို့ သွား ၏။ ရောက် သောအခါ မုန့် ကိုမ စား ၊ ရေ ကိုမ သောက် ဘဲ နေ၏။ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ သိမ်း သွားခြင်းကိုခံ ဘူးသောသူတို့ ပြစ်မှားသော အပြစ် ကြောင့် ညည်းတွား မြည်တမ်းလေ၏။
7 Then we sent a message to all [the people in] Jerusalem and [in other towns in] Judah, saying that all those who had returned [from Babylonia] should come to Jerusalem immediately.
၇သိမ်း သွားခြင်းကို ခံရသောအမျိုးသား အပေါင်း တို့သည်၊ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့သို့ စည်းဝေး စေမည်အကြောင်း၊
8 We said that if any of them did not arrive within three days, the leaders of the people would order that all the property of those people would be taken from them, and that they would no longer be considered to belong to the Israeli people; [they would be considered to be foreigners].
၈မင်း များနှင့် အသက် ကြီးသူများ စီရင် သည် အတိုင်း ၊ သုံး ရက် အတွင်းတွင် မ ရောက် သော သူမည်သည် ကား၊ သိမ်း သွားခြင်း အမျိုးသားပရိတ်သတ် ထဲက နှင်ထုတ် ခြင်းကိုခံ၍ ၊ သူ ၏ဥစ္စာ ရှိသမျှ သည် ကျိန်ဆိုအပ်သောဥစ္စာဖြစ်စေမည်အကြောင်း၊ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့မှစ၍ ယုဒ ပြည်တရှောက်လုံး၌ ကြော်ငြာ ကြ၏။
9 So within three days, on December 19, all the people of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin gathered in Jerusalem. They were there, sitting in the courtyard in front of the temple. They were trembling because it was raining hard and because they were worried [that they would be punished for what they had done].
၉ယုဒ အမျိုးနှင့် ဗင်္ယာမိန် အမျိုးသားယောက်ျား အပေါင်း တို့သည် သုံး ရက် အတွင်းတွင် ၊ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့မှာ စည်းဝေး ၍ နဝမ လ အရက်နှစ် ဆယ်တွင် ၊ လူ အပေါင်း တို့ သည် ထိုအမှုကြောင့်၎င်း၊ သည်းထန် စွာ မိုဃ်းရွာ သောကြောင့် ၎င်း၊ တုန်လှုပ်လျက် ဘုရားသခင်၏ အိမ်တော်ဦးရှေ့မှာ ထိုင်နေကြ၏။
10 Then I stood up and said to them, “[Some of] you men have committed a very bad sin. You have married women who are not Israelis. By doing that, you have made us Israeli people more guilty [than we were before].
၁၀ထိုအခါ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ဧဇရ သည် ထ ၍ ၊ သင် တို့သည် ပြစ်မှား ကြပြီ။ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၌ အပြစ် လေးစေခြင်းငှါ တပါး အမျိုးသားမိန်းမ တို့နှင့် စုံဘက် ကြ ပြီတကား။
11 So now you must confess to Yahweh, the God whom your ancestors [worshiped/belonged to], the sin which you have committed, and you must do what he wants. Separate yourselves from the people of other nations and from the women from those nations whom you have married.”
၁၁သို့ဖြစ်၍ ဘိုးဘေး တို့၏ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား အား တောင်းပန် ကြလော့။ အလို တော်အတိုင်း ပြု လျက် ၊ ဤပြည်သား တို့နှင့်၎င်း၊ တပါး အမျိုးသားမိန်းမ တို့နှင့်၎င်း ကွာ ကြလော့ဟု သူ တို့အား ဆို ၏။
12 The whole group answered, shouting loudly, “Yes, what you have said is right! We will do what you have said.”
၁၂ပရိသတ် အပေါင်း တို့ကလည်း ၊ ကိုယ်တော် မိန့်တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း အကျွန်ုပ် တို့သည် ပြု ပါမည်။
13 But then [one of] them said, “But we are a very large group, and it is raining hard. Also, there are many of us who have committed this bad sin. This is something that we cannot (take care of/handle) in one or two days, and we cannot stand here in this rain.
၁၃သို့ရာတွင် လူ အများ ရှိပါ၏။ သည်းထန်စွာ မိုဃ်း ရွာ သော ကာလ ဖြစ်ပါ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် အိမ်ပြင် မှာ မ ရပ် မနေနိုင် ပါ။ ဤအမှု သည် တ ရက် နှစ် ရက်တွင် ပြီးနိုင် သော အမှုမ ဟုတ်ပါ။ ပြစ်မှား သောသူ အများ ရှိပါ၏။
14 So allow our leaders to decide for all of us what we should do. Tell everyone who has married a woman who is not Israeli to come at a time that you decide. They should come with the elders and judges from each city. If we do that, our God will stop being angry with us [because of what we have done].”
၁၄ငါ တို့ ပရိသတ် အပေါင်း ကို အုပ်ချုပ်သော အကြီးအကဲ တို့သည် စီရင်သဖြင့်၊ တို့နေရာမြို့ ရွာ၌ တပါး အမျိုးသားမိန်းမ နှင့် စုံဘက် သော သူအပေါင်း တို့သည် ချိန်းချက် သောအချိန် တို့၌ မြို့ အသီးအသီးအသက် ကြီးသူများ၊ တရား သူကြီးများနှင့်အတူ လာ ၍ ဤ အမှု ကြောင့် ပြင်းစွာ ထွက်သောငါ တို့ ဘုရား သခင်၏ အမျက် တော်ကို ဖြေကြပါစေဟု ကြီးစွာ သောအသံ နှင့် ပြန်ပြော ကြ၏။
15 Jonathan the son of Asahel, Jahzeiah the son of Tikvah, Meshullam, and Shabbethai, a descendant of Levi, were the only ones who objected to this.
၁၅အာသဟေလ သား ယောနသန် နှင့် တိကဝ သား ယဟာဇိ သာ လျှင် ထို အမှုကိုပြုစု ကြ၏။ လေဝိ သား မေရှုလံ နှင့် ရှဗ္ဗသဲ တို့သည် ဝိုင်း ညီကြ၏။
16 All the others who had returned from Babylonia said that they would do it. So I chose leaders of each of the clans, and I wrote down their names. On December 29, these men came and sat down to investigate the matter.
၁၆သိမ်း သွားခြင်းကို ခံရသောအမျိုးသား တို့သည် ဝန်ခံကြသည်နှင့်အညီ၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ဧဇရ သည် ရွေးချယ် ၍ အဆွေ အမျိုးအလိုက် အမည် များကို မှတ်သားသော အဆွေအမျိုးသူကြီး တို့သည် ဒသမ လ တ ရက် နေ့ တွင် ထိုအမှု ကို စစ်ကြော ခြင်းငှါ ထိုင် နေကြ၏။
17 By March 27 of the next year they finished determining which men had married women who were not Israelis.
၁၇တပါး အမျိုးသားမိန်းမ နှင့်စုံဘက် သောသူ အပေါင်း တို့ကို ပဌမ လ တ ရက် နေ့တိုင်အောင် အကုန်အစင် စစ်ကြောစီရင် ကြ၏။
18 This is a list of the names of the priests who had married non-Israeli women, and the clans to which they belonged. From the clan of Jeshua and his brothers, who were sons of Jehozadak, there were Maaseiah, Eliezer, Jarib, and Gedaliah.
၁၈တပါး အမျိုးသားမိန်းမ နှင့် စုံဘက် သော ယဇ် ပုရောဟိတ် အမျိုးသား ဟူမူကား၊ ယောရှု အမျိုး ယောဇဒက် သား နှင့် သူ ၏ညီ မာသေယ ၊ ဧလျေဇာ ၊ ယာရိပ် ၊ ဂေဒလိ တည်း။
19 They solemnly promised to divorce their wives, and they each sacrificed a ram to be an offering [to atone] for their sins.
၁၉သူ တို့သည် မယား နှင့်ကွာ မည်ဟု ဂတိထားကြ ၏။ ပြုမိသော အပြစ် ကြောင့် သိုး ကိုယဇ် ပူဇော်ကြ၏။
20 From the clan of Immer there were Hanani and Zebadiah.
၂၀ထိုမှတပါး၊ ဣမေရ အမျိုး ဟာနန် နှင့် ဇေဗဒိ၊
21 From the clan of Harim there were Maaseiah, Elijah, Shemaiah, Jehiel, and Uzziah.
၂၁ဟာရိမ် အမျိုး မာသေယ ၊ ဧလိယ ၊ ရှေမာယ ၊ ယေဟေလ ၊ ဩဇိ၊
22 From the clan of Pashhur there were Elioenai, Maaseiah, Ishmael, Nethanel, Jozabad, and Elasah.
၂၂ပါရှုရ အမျိုး ဧလိဩနဲ ၊ မာသေယ ၊ ဣရှမေလ ၊ နာသနေလ ၊ ယောဇဗဒ် ၊ ဧလာသ။
23 The [other] descendants of Levi [who had married non-Israeli women] were Jozabad, Shimei, Kelaiah (whose other name was Kelita), Pethahiah, Judah, and Eliezer.
၂၃လေဝိ သားယောဇဗဒ် ၊ ရှိမိ ၊ ကေလာယ တည်းဟူသော ကေလိတ ၊ ပေသာဟိ ၊ ယုဒ ၊ ဧလျေဇာ၊
24 There was Eliashib the musician. From the temple guards there were Shallum, Telem, and Uri.
၂၄သီချင်း သည် ဧလျာရှိပ် ၊ တံခါး စောင့် ရှလ္လုံ ၊ တေလင် ၊ ဥရိ၊
25 This is a list of the names of the other Israelis who had married foreign wives: From the clan of Parosh there were Ramiah, Izziah, Malchijah, Mijamin, Eleazar, Hashabiah, and Benaiah.
၂၅ဣသရေလအမျိုးထဲက ပါရုတ် အမျိုး ရာမိ ၊ ယေဇိ ၊ မာလခိ ၊ မျာမိန် ၊ ဧလာဇာ ၊ မာလခိယ ၊ ဗေနာယ၊
26 From the clan of Elam there were Mattaniah, Zechariah, Jehiel, Abdi, Jeremoth, and Elijah.
၂၆ဧလံ အမျိုး မတ္တနိ ၊ ဇာခရိ ၊ ယေဟေလ ၊ အာဗဒိ ၊ ယေရမုတ် ၊ ဧလျာ၊
27 From the clan of Zattu there were Elioenai, Eliashib, Mattaniah, Jeremoth, Zabad, and Aziza.
၂၇ဇတ္တု အမျိုး ဧလိဩနဲ ၊ ဧလျာရှိပ် ၊ မတ္တနိ ၊ ယေရမုတ် ၊ ဇာဗဒ် ၊ အာဇိဇ၊
28 From the clan of Bebai there were Jehohanan, Hananiah, Zabbai, and Athlai.
၂၈ဗေဗဲ အမျိုး ယောဟနန် ၊ ဟာနနိ ၊ ဇဗ္ဗဲ ၊ အာသလဲ၊
29 From the clan of Bani there were Meshullam, Malluch, Adaiah, Jashub, Sheal, and Jeremoth.
၂၉ဗာနိ အမျိုး မေရှုလ ၊ မလ္လုတ် ၊ အဒါယ ၊ ယာရှုပ် ၊ ရှာလ ၊ ရာမုတ်၊
30 From the clan of Pahath-Moab there were Adna, Kelal, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattaniah, Bezalel, Binnui, and Manasseh.
၃၀ပါဟတ်မောဘ အမျိုး အဒန ၊ ခေလာလ ၊ ဗေနာယ ၊ မာသေယ ၊ မတ္တနိ ၊ ဗေဇလေလ ၊ ဗိနွိ ၊ မနာရှေ၊
31 From the clan of Harim there were Eliezer, Ishijah, Malkijah, Shemaiah, Shimeon,
၃၁ဟာရိမ် အမျိုး ဧလျေဇာ ၊ ဣရှိယ ၊ မာလခိ ၊ ရှေမာယ ၊ ရှိမောင်၊
32 Benjamin, Malluch, and Shemariah.

33 From the clan of Hashum there were Mattenai, Mattattah, Zabad, Eliphelet, Jeremai, Manasseh, and Shimei.
၃၃ဟာရှုံ အမျိုး မတ္တနဲ ၊ မတ္တသ ၊ ဇာဗဒ် ၊ ဧလိဖလက် ၊ ယေရမဲ ၊ မာနရှေ ၊ ရှိမိ၊
34 From the clan of Bigvai there were Maadai, Amram, Uel,
၃၄ဗာနိ အမျိုး မာဒဲ ၊ အာမရံ ၊ ဝေလ၊
35 Benaiah, Bedeiah, Keluhi,
၃၅ဗေနာယ ၊ ပေဒိ ၊ ခေလု၊
36 Vaniah, Meremoth, Eliashib,
၃၆ဝါနိ ၊ မေရမုတ် ၊ ဧလျာရှိပ်၊
37 Mattaniah, Mattenai, and Jaasu.
၃၇မတ္တနိ ၊ မတ္တနဲ ၊ ယာသော၊
38 From the clan of Binnui there were Shimei,
၃၈ထိုမှတပါး၊ ဗာနိ ၊ ဗိနွိ ၊ ရှိမိ၊
39 Shelemiah, Nathan, Adaiah,
၃၉ရှေလမိ ၊ နာသန် ၊ အဒါယ၊
40 Macnadebai, Shashai, Sharai,
၄၀မာခနဒေဗဲ ၊ ရှာရှဲ ၊ ရှာရံ၊
41 Azarel, Shelemiah, Shemariah,
၄၁အာဇရေလ ၊ ရှေလမိ ၊ ရှေမရိ၊
42 Shallum, Amariah, and Joseph.
၄၂ရှလ္လုံ ၊ အာမရိ ၊ ယောသပ်၊
43 From the clan of Nebo there were Jeiel, Mattithiah, Zabad, Zebina, Jaddai, Joel, and Benaiah.
၄၃နေဗော အမျိုး ယေယေလ ၊ မတ္တိသိ ၊ ဇာဗဒ် ၊ ဇေဗိန ၊ ယာဒေါ ၊ ယောလ ၊ ဗေနာယ တည်း။
44 Each of those men had married a woman who was not an Israeli. [But immediately] they divorced those women and sent them and their children away.
၄၄ဤ သူ အပေါင်း တို့သည် တပါး အမျိုးသားမိန်းမ နှင့် စုံဘက် ၍ သား သမီးကို မြင် ရကြပြီ။
