< Ezekiel 9 >
1 Then I heard Yahweh call out loudly, “[You men who are going to punish this city, ] bring here the guards of the city, each carrying a weapon.”
Hichun Pakai ahung kitumin, khopi sugam dinga kinganse ho chu hin puidoh un, agal manchah u toh hung kondoh tha din seipeh un.
2 Then I saw six men coming from the north gate of the temple area. Each one was carrying a weapon. With them was a man wearing a white linen robe. [carried] at his side a case containing things to write with. They [all] came into the temple and stood beside the bronze altar.
Pasal gup gangtah in sahlanga kelkot chungnung a kon chun ahung kilah doh uvin, amichang cheh chun thina thei manchah khat cheh akichoi uve. Amaho lah a chun tupat ponnem kisil a akhut lekha jih pa thilkoina bom khat apang langkhat a kichoi pasal khat ajauve. Amaho abon'un houin leitol a chun alut uvin, sum eng maicham geija chun ading uve.
3 [Then] the (glory/dazzling light) [that symbolized the presence] of the God of Israel rose up from above the four winged creatures and moved to the entrance of the temple. Then Yahweh called to the man wearing the linen robe,
Hichun Israel Pathen loupina chu Cherubim teni kikah a kon chun ahung dingdoh e. Akicholngah muna kon houin lutna lampi a chun alut tai. Hichun tupat ponnem kisil a lekha jihpa thilkoina bom choipa chu Pakai chun ahin kouve.
4 and said to him, “Go throughout Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of those who are very sad [DOU] because of the detestable things that are being done inside the city.”
Amapa koma chun Jersusalem khopi lamlen a chun, chen lang khopi sunga kidah umtah chonsetna kibol ho jeh a kap le khoisa ho jouse chalpang a khun melchihna gakoi peh cheh in” ati.
5 While I was listening, he said to the other six men, “Follow the man wearing the white robe, and kill people. Do not pity them or act mercifully toward them.
Hichun Pakaiyin pasal achom dang khat koma hitia asei hi kajai. “Amapa hung hi khopi sunga khun jui jin lang, achalpang melchihna kipe lou jouse khu that gam tan.
6 Slaughter old men, young men and women, older women and children, but do not harm any of those who have that mark on their forehead. Start at my temple.” So they began by killing the elders who were [worshiping idols] in front of the temple.
Khotona leh lainatpi musah hih in tehse khangdong, nungah leh nupi, chuleh chapang neoho geijin that soh hel in. Amavang achalpang melchihna nei jouse vang tongkha hih in. Hiche houin mun laitah a hin pan jengin, hijeh chun mitha chu lamkai 70 ho a chun apan tauve.
7 Then Yahweh said to those men, “Pollute the temple by filling the [with the corpses of those whom] you kill! Start now!” So they went out and starting killing people throughout the city.
“Houin chu suboh un,” tin Pakaiyin thu apei, chen lang chu leitol chu mithilong dipset in. Hijeh chun amaho alut un khopi sunga chu mihem athat pan tauvin ahi.
8 While they were doing that, I was left alone. I prostrated myself on the ground and cried out, “Yahweh my Lord, are you going to get rid of all the people of Israel and Judah who are still alive, while you are severely punishing [MTY] [the people of] Jerusalem?”
Amaho mithat a achedoh lai sung seuvin keima kachang seh in kana ume. Kamai tolla kasulut in “O thanei pen Pakai! Jerusalem douna nalungsatna hin Israelte hi khat beh cha jeng jong dalha louhela natheh mang hel jeng ding hitam” tin kahung kap doh jeng tai.
9 He replied, “The sins of the people [MTY] of Israel and Judah are extremely great. People are murdered [MTY] everywhere [in this country], and this city is full of [people who act] unjustly. They say, ‘Yahweh has abandoned this country, and he does not [what we are doing].’
Hichun Pakaiji kajah a “Israel insung mite le Juda insung mipite chonsetna hi asang val behseh jeng tai. Agamsung pumpi hi kitolthana adimtai. ‘Pakaiyin eimu pouvinte, Pakaiyin agam hi adalhahsa ahitai’ tin amahon asei uve.
10 [So] I will not pity them or act mercifully toward them. I will do to them the evil things that they have done to other people.”
Koima kakhen louhel ding chule laijong kalainat pilou hel dingu ahi. Atoh dungjui cheh uva bulhingsetna lethuhna kapeh diu ahi,” tin aseije.
11 Then the man wearing the linen robe returned, saying, “I have done what you commanded me to do.”
Lekha sunpa thilkoina bom choipa tupat ponnem kisilpa chun thu ahin nung lhut in, “Nangman nei peh bang bang chu kaga bolchai tai,” tin aseije.
