< Ezekiel 9 >
1 Then I heard Yahweh call out loudly, “[You men who are going to punish this city, ] bring here the guards of the city, each carrying a weapon.”
To pacoengah anih mah, Kaminawk hanah a ban ah amrohaih maiphaw to sin o sak boih ah loe, vangpui toep kaminawk to hae ah angzo o haih ah, tiah tha hoi kawk ih lok to ka thaih.
2 Then I saw six men coming from the north gate of the temple area. Each one was carrying a weapon. With them was a man wearing a white linen robe. [carried] at his side a case containing things to write with. They [all] came into the temple and stood beside the bronze altar.
To naah aluek bangah kaom kasang khongkha hoiah kami tarukto angzoh o, nihcae loe humhaih maiphaw to ban ah sin o boih; nihcae thung ih kami maeto loe puu ngan laihaw to angkhuk moe, panak bangah catui tabu to aken: athung bangah caeh o moe, sumkamling hoiah sak ih hmaicam taengah angdoet o.
3 [Then] the (glory/dazzling light) [that symbolized the presence] of the God of Israel rose up from above the four winged creatures and moved to the entrance of the temple. Then Yahweh called to the man wearing the linen robe,
To naah Israel Sithaw lensawkhaih loe cherubim khae hoiah tacawt tahang moe, a ohhaih ahmuen hoiah tempul toepkungnawk ohhaih ahmuen ah caeh. To pacoengah anih mah panak bangah catui tabu kavak puu ngan angkhuk kami to a kawk,

Lok ka tahngaih li naah kalah kaminawk khaeah, Nangcae doeh anih hnukah vangpui thungah bang oh loe hum oh; paquem o hmah, tahmen doeh tahmen o hmah.
6 Slaughter old men, young men and women, older women and children, but do not harm any of those who have that mark on their forehead. Start at my temple.” So they began by killing the elders who were [worshiping idols] in front of the temple.

7 Then Yahweh said to those men, “Pollute the temple by filling the [with the corpses of those whom] you kill! Start now!” So they went out and starting killing people throughout the city.
To pacoengah anih mah nihcae khaeah, Tempul to amhnong o sak ah loe, longhma to kami qok hoiah koi o sak ah, caeh o lai ah, tiah a naa. To pongah nihcae to caeh o moe, vangpui thungah kami to hum o.
8 While they were doing that, I was left alone. I prostrated myself on the ground and cried out, “Yahweh my Lord, are you going to get rid of all the people of Israel and Judah who are still alive, while you are severely punishing [MTY] [the people of] Jerusalem?”
9 He replied, “The sins of the people [MTY] of Israel and Judah are extremely great. People are murdered [MTY] everywhere [in this country], and this city is full of [people who act] unjustly. They say, ‘Yahweh has abandoned this country, and he does not [what we are doing].’
Anih mah kai khaeah, Israel hoi Judah imthung takoh ih zaehaih loe thui laek ai len boeh, prae loe athii longhaih hoiah koi boeh moe, oep kaom ai hmuen hoiah vangpui to koi boeh; nihcae mah, Angraeng mah prae to pahnawt sut boeh pongah, Angraeng mah hnu mak ai, tiah a thuih o.
10 [So] I will not pity them or act mercifully toward them. I will do to them the evil things that they have done to other people.”
To pongah ka pathlung mak ai, tahmen doeh ka tahmen mak ai, a sak o ih hmuen baktih toengah angmacae lu nuiah ka kraksak let han, tiah ang naa.
11 Then the man wearing the linen robe returned, saying, “I have done what you commanded me to do.”
