Ezekiel 43
1 Then [in the vision] the man brought me to the entrance on the east side.
Me llevó luego a la puerta, a la puerta que mira hacia el oriente;
2 Suddenly I saw the glory/brightness of the God of Israel coming from the east. The sound of his coming was like the roar of a rushing river, and all that area shone with his glory.
Y he aquí la Gloria del Dios de Israel, que venía hacia el oriente; y su sonido era como el sonido de muchas aguas, y la tierra resplandecía a causa de su gloria.
3 What I saw in this vision was like what I saw in the visions that I had seen [previously, first] by the Kebar River and [later] when God came to destroy Jerusalem. I prostrated myself on the ground.
Y la visión que vi era como la visión, como aquella visión que vi cuando vine para destruir la ciudad; y las visiones eran como la visión que vi junto al río de Quebar; y caí sobre mi rostro.
4 The glory of Yahweh entered the temple through the east entrance.
Y la Gloria del SEÑOR entró en la Casa por la vía de la puerta que daba cara al oriente.
5 Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner courtyard, and the glory of Yahweh filled the temple.
Y me alzó el Espíritu, y me metió en el atrio de adentro; y he aquí que la Gloria del SEÑOR llenó la Casa.
6 [Then] while the man was standing beside me, I heard someone speak to me from inside the temple.
Y oí que él me hablaba desde la Casa; y el varón estaba junto a mí.
7 He said, “You human, this is [my temple], the place [I sit on] my throne and where I rest my feet. This is where I will live with the Israeli people forever. The Israeli people and their kings will never again disgrace me [SYN] by worshiping other gods [MET] at the shrines on their hilltops, or by [building] monuments to honor their kings who have died.
Y me dijo: Hijo de hombre, éste es el lugar de mi asiento, y el lugar de las plantas de mis pies, en el cual habitaré entre los hijos de Israel para siempre; y nunca más contaminará la Casa de Israel mi santo nombre, ni ellos ni sus reyes, con sus fornicaciones, y con los cuerpos muertos de sus reyes en sus altares.
8 They placed their altars near mine, and the doorposts of their [temples] were next to the doorposts of my [temple]. There was only a wall between them. And they disgraced me by the detestable things that they did. So, being very angry with them, I got rid of them.
Poniendo ellos su umbral junto a mi umbral, y su poste junto a mi poste, y una pared entre mí y ellos, contaminaron mi Santo Nombre con sus abominaciones que hicieron, y yo los consumí en mi furor.
9 Now they must stop this disgusting worship of idols and these rituals to honor their kings who have died. If they stop doing those things, I will live among them forever.
Ahora echarán lejos de mí su fornicación, y los cuerpos muertos de sus reyes, y habitaré en medio de ellos para siempre.
10 You human, describe to the Israeli people what this temple that I have shown you [in a vision] is like, in order that they will be ashamed of the sins that they have committed [which resulted in their temple in Jerusalem being destroyed].
Tú, hijo de hombre, muestra a la Casa de Israel esta Casa, y avergüéncense de sus pecados, y entiendan su diseño.
11 If they are ashamed of all [the evil things] that they have done, tell them [all] about the temple [that I showed you]: its design/shape, the exits and entrances, [and everything else about it]. And tell them all my laws and regulations about worshiping me there. Write all these things down while they watch you, in order that they will be able to faithfully obey those laws.
Si se avergonzaren de todo lo que han hecho, hazles entender la figura de la Casa, y su diseño, y sus salidas y sus entradas, y todas sus figuras, y todas sus descripciones, y todas sus pinturas, y todas sus leyes; y escríbelo delante de sus ojos, para que guarden toda su forma, y todas sus reglas, y las pongan por obra.
12 And this is the supreme law about the temple [DOU]: All of the area on top of the hill [where the temple will be built] must be kept sacred and holy.”
Esta es la ley de la Casa: Sobre la cumbre del monte será edificada, todo su término alrededor será santísimo; he aquí que ésta es la ley de la Casa.
13 These are the measurements of the altar, using the same kind of measuring stick that was used for the temple area: There is a gutter around the altar that is (21 in./53 cm.) deep and (21 in./53 cm.) wide. There is a rim around it that is (9 in./23 cm.) wide.
Y éstas son las medidas del altar en codos (el codo de a codo y palmo). El aro del medio, de un codo, y de un codo el ancho; y su remate por su borde alrededor, de un palmo. Este será el fondo alto del altar.
14 The lower part of the gutter is (3-1/2 feet/1.1 meters) high to the lower ledge/rim that surrounds the altar. The lower ledge is (21 in./53 cm.) wide. The upper part of the altar is (7 feet/2.1 meters) high, up to the upper ledge. That ledge is also (21 in./53 cm.) wide.
Y desde el aro del medio de la tierra hasta el lugar de abajo, dos codos, y la anchura de un codo; y desde el lugar menor hasta el lugar mayor, cuatro codos, y la anchura de un codo.
15 The (hearth/place where the sacrifices are burned) at the top of the altar is another (7 feet/2.2 meters) high, and there is a projection that juts/extends up from each of the four corners.
Y el altar, de cuatro codos, y encima del altar, cuatro cuernos.
16 That place at the top of the altar is square, (21 feet/6.4 meters) on each side.
Y el altar tenía doce codos de largo, y doce de ancho, cuadrado a sus cuatro lados.
17 The upper ledge is also a square, (24-1/2 feet/7.4 meters) on each side. There is a (21 in./53 cm.) gutter [at the bottom of the altar], and a (10.5 in./26.6 cm.) rim all around it. There are steps up to the east side of the altar.”
Y el patio era de catorce codos de longitud y catorce de anchura en sus cuatro lados, y de medio codo el borde alrededor; y el medio que tenía aro de un codo por todos lados; y sus gradas estaban al oriente.
18 Then the man said to me, “You human, this is what Yahweh the Lord says: These are the regulations for sacrificing offerings that will be completely burned and for sprinkling the blood against the sides of the altar when it is built:
Y me dijo: Hijo de hombre, así dijo el Señor DIOS: Estas son las leyes del altar el día en que será hecho, para ofrecer sobre él holocausto, y para esparcir sobre él sangre.
19 You must present to the priests a young bull to be an offering to cause the altar to be acceptable to me. The priests are descendants of Levi, from the clan of Zadok, who come near to the altar to serve me.
Darás a los sacerdotes Levitas que son del linaje de Sadoc, que se allegan a mí, dijo el Señor DIOS, para ministrarme, un becerro hijo de vaca para expiación.
20 You must take some of the blood [from the bull that is sacrificed], and smear it on the four projections of the altar and on the four corners of the upper ledge, and all around the rim, to cause the altar to be acceptable to me, and to consecrate it.
Y tomarás de su sangre, y pondrás en los cuatro cuernos del altar, y en las cuatro esquinas del patio, y en el borde alrededor; así lo limpiarás y purificarás.
21 You must burn that bull outside the temple in the part of the temple area [that I have] designated for that.
Tomarás luego el becerro de la expiación, y lo quemarás conforme a la ley de la Casa, fuera del Santuario.
22 The next day, you must offer a male goat that has no defects, to be an offering to cause the altar to be acceptable to me. Then you must purify the altar again, like you did with the bull that was sacrificed.
Y al segundo día ofrecerás un macho cabrío sin defecto, para expiación; y purificarán el altar como lo purificaron con el becerro.
23 When you have finished doing all that, you must offer a young bull and a ram, both of them without any defects.
Cuando acabares de expiar, ofrecerás un becerro hijo de vaca sin defecto, y un carnero sin tacha de la manada;
24 You must offer them to [me], Yahweh, and the priests must sprinkle salt on them and completely burn them [on the altar] for a sacrifice to me.
y los ofrecerás delante del SEÑOR, y los sacerdotes echarán sal sobre ellos, y los ofrecerán en holocausto al SEÑOR.
25 [Then], each day for seven days, you must bring [to the priest] a male goat [to be sacrificed] for an offering to cause the altar to be acceptable to me. You must also sacrifice a young bull and a ram, [each] without any defect.
Por siete días sacrificarán un macho cabrío cada día en expiación; y el becerro hijo de vaca, y el carnero de la manada enteros los sacrificarán.
26 For seven days the priests will consecrate the altar and cause it to be acceptable to me. By doing that they will dedicate it to me.
Por siete días expiarán el altar, y lo limpiarán, y ellos henchirán sus manos.
27 At the end of those seven days, starting on the following day, the priests will continue to put on the altar offerings to be completely burned and offerings to maintain fellowship with me. Then I will accept you. [That it what I], Yahweh the Lord, declare.”
Y acabados estos días, al octavo día, y en adelante, sacrificarán los sacerdotes sobre el altar vuestros holocaustos y vuestros pacíficos; y me seréis aceptos, dijo el Señor DIOS.
