Ezekiel 43
1 Then [in the vision] the man brought me to the entrance on the east side.
Und er führte mich zu dem Thore, das nach Osten hin gewendet ist.
2 Suddenly I saw the glory/brightness of the God of Israel coming from the east. The sound of his coming was like the roar of a rushing river, and all that area shone with his glory.
Fürwahr, da erschien die Herrlichkeit des Gottes Israels in der Richtung von Osten her, und ihr Brausen glich dem Brausen gewaltiger Wasser, und das Land leuchtete von seiner Herrlichkeit.
3 What I saw in this vision was like what I saw in the visions that I had seen [previously, first] by the Kebar River and [later] when God came to destroy Jerusalem. I prostrated myself on the ground.
Und der Anblick, den ich hatte, glich dem Anblick, den ich gehabt hatte, als er erschien, die Stadt zu verderben, und der Anblick des Gefährts, das ich sah, glich dem Anblicke, den ich am Flusse Kebar gehabt hatte, und ich fiel auf mein Angesicht.
4 The glory of Yahweh entered the temple through the east entrance.
Und die Herrlichkeit Jahwes betrat den Tempelbezirk durch das Thor, dessen Vorderseite in der Richtung nach Osten lag.
5 Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner courtyard, and the glory of Yahweh filled the temple.
Und Geist hob mich empor und brachte mich in den inneren Vorhof, und fürwahr, der Tempel war erfüllt von der Herrlichkeit Jahwes.
6 [Then] while the man was standing beside me, I heard someone speak to me from inside the temple.
Und ich hörte jemanden vom Tempel her zu mir reden, während der Mann noch neben mir stand,
7 He said, “You human, this is [my temple], the place [I sit on] my throne and where I rest my feet. This is where I will live with the Israeli people forever. The Israeli people and their kings will never again disgrace me [SYN] by worshiping other gods [MET] at the shrines on their hilltops, or by [building] monuments to honor their kings who have died.
und er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn! Hast du gesehen die Stätte meines Throns und die Stätte meiner Fußsohlen, woselbst ich für immer inmitten der Söhne Israels wohnen will? Und das Haus Israel soll meinen heiligen Namen fortan nicht mehr verunreinigen, - sie und ihre Könige, durch ihre Abgötterei und ihre Opferhöhen und durch die Leichen ihrer Könige,
8 They placed their altars near mine, and the doorposts of their [temples] were next to the doorposts of my [temple]. There was only a wall between them. And they disgraced me by the detestable things that they did. So, being very angry with them, I got rid of them.
indem sie ihre Schwelle neben meine Schwelle und ihre Pfoste neben meine Pfoste setzten, so daß nur die Wand zwischen mir und ihnen war. Und so verunreinigten sie beständig meinen heiligen Namen durch ihre Greuel, die sie verübten, so daß ich sie in meinem Zorne vertilgte.
9 Now they must stop this disgusting worship of idols and these rituals to honor their kings who have died. If they stop doing those things, I will live among them forever.
Nunmehr werden sie ihre Abgötterei und die Leichen ihrer Könige von mir fernhalten, damit ich für immer unter ihnen wohne.
10 You human, describe to the Israeli people what this temple that I have shown you [in a vision] is like, in order that they will be ashamed of the sins that they have committed [which resulted in their temple in Jerusalem being destroyed].
Du aber, Menschensohn, beschreibe dem Hause Israel den Tempel, damit sie sich ob ihrer früheren Verschuldungen schämen.
11 If they are ashamed of all [the evil things] that they have done, tell them [all] about the temple [that I showed you]: its design/shape, the exits and entrances, [and everything else about it]. And tell them all my laws and regulations about worshiping me there. Write all these things down while they watch you, in order that they will be able to faithfully obey those laws.
Und wenn sie sich schämen wegen alles dessen, was sie verübt haben, dann thue ihnen kund die Gestalt des Tempels und seine Einrichtung und seine Ausgänge und seine Eingänge und alle seine Einrichtungen und alle seine Ordnungen und schreibe es vor ihren Augen auf, damit sie auf seine ganze Gestalt und alle seine Einrichtungen acht haben und sie ausführen.
12 And this is the supreme law about the temple [DOU]: All of the area on top of the hill [where the temple will be built] must be kept sacred and holy.”
Dies ist die Anordnung in betreff des Tempels: auf dem Gipfel des Bergs soll sein ganzer Bereich ringsum als hochheilig gelten; fürwahr, dies ist die Anordnung in betreff des Tempels.
13 These are the measurements of the altar, using the same kind of measuring stick that was used for the temple area: There is a gutter around the altar that is (21 in./53 cm.) deep and (21 in./53 cm.) wide. There is a rim around it that is (9 in./23 cm.) wide.
Und dies sind die Maße des Altars in Ellen, die Elle zu einer gewöhnlichen Elle und einer Handbreite gerechnet: Seine Grundeinfassung soll eine Elle und in der Breite eine Elle betragen und sein Gesims bis zum Rande ringsum eine Spanne. Und dies ist die Höhe des Altars:
14 The lower part of the gutter is (3-1/2 feet/1.1 meters) high to the lower ledge/rim that surrounds the altar. The lower ledge is (21 in./53 cm.) wide. The upper part of the altar is (7 feet/2.1 meters) high, up to the upper ledge. That ledge is also (21 in./53 cm.) wide.
Von der Grundeinfassung am Boden bis zur unteren Einfriedrigung zwei Ellen und die Breite eine Elle; und von der kleinen Umfriedigung bis zur großen Umfriedigung vier Ellen und die Breite eine Elle.
15 The (hearth/place where the sacrifices are burned) at the top of the altar is another (7 feet/2.2 meters) high, and there is a projection that juts/extends up from each of the four corners.
Und der Opferherd maß vier Ellen, und vom Opferherde nach oben erstreckten sich die Hörner, vier an der Zahl.
16 That place at the top of the altar is square, (21 feet/6.4 meters) on each side.
Und der Opferherd hatte zwölf Ellen Länge bei zwölf Ellen Breite im Geviert an seinen vier gleichen Seiten.
17 The upper ledge is also a square, (24-1/2 feet/7.4 meters) on each side. There is a (21 in./53 cm.) gutter [at the bottom of the altar], and a (10.5 in./26.6 cm.) rim all around it. There are steps up to the east side of the altar.”
Und die Umfriedigung hatte vierzehn Ellen Länge bei vierzehn Ellen Breite an ihren vier gleichen Seiten, und die Einfassung ringsumher eine halbe Elle und die Vertiefung an ihr eine Elle ringsum. Seine Stufen aber waren nach Osten gewendet.
18 Then the man said to me, “You human, this is what Yahweh the Lord says: These are the regulations for sacrificing offerings that will be completely burned and for sprinkling the blood against the sides of the altar when it is built:
Und er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn! So spricht der Herr Jahwe: Dies sind die Bestimmungen in betreff des Altars für den Tag, wo er angefertigt ist, um Brandopfer auf ihm darzubringen und Blut auf ihn zu sprengen.
19 You must present to the priests a young bull to be an offering to cause the altar to be acceptable to me. The priests are descendants of Levi, from the clan of Zadok, who come near to the altar to serve me.
Da sollst du den levitischen Priestern, die zu den Nachkommen Zadoks gehören, die mir nahen dürfen, ist der Spruch des Herrn Jahwe, um mich zu bedienen, ein junges Rind zu einem Sündopfer übergeben
20 You must take some of the blood [from the bull that is sacrificed], and smear it on the four projections of the altar and on the four corners of the upper ledge, and all around the rim, to cause the altar to be acceptable to me, and to consecrate it.
und sollst etwas von seinem Blute nehmen und es an seine vier Hörner thun und an die vier Ecken der Umfriedigung und an die Einfassung ringsum und sollst ihn so entsündigen.
21 You must burn that bull outside the temple in the part of the temple area [that I have] designated for that.
Sodann sollst du den Farren, das Sündopfer, nehmen, daß man ihn an dem dazu bestimmten Platze des Tempelbereichs außerhalb des Heiligtums verbrenne.
22 The next day, you must offer a male goat that has no defects, to be an offering to cause the altar to be acceptable to me. Then you must purify the altar again, like you did with the bull that was sacrificed.
Am zweiten Tag aber sollt du einen fehllosen Ziegenbock als Sündopfer darbringen, daß man den Altar mit ihm entsündige, wie man ihn mit dem Farren entsündigt hat.
23 When you have finished doing all that, you must offer a young bull and a ram, both of them without any defects.
Wenn du mit dem Entsündigen zu Ende bist, sollst du einen fehllosen jungen Stier und einen fehllosen Widder vom Kleinvieh darbringen.
24 You must offer them to [me], Yahweh, and the priests must sprinkle salt on them and completely burn them [on the altar] for a sacrifice to me.
Die sollst du vor Jahwe bringen, und die Priester sollen Salz auf sie streuen und sie Jahwe als Brandopfer darbringen.
25 [Then], each day for seven days, you must bring [to the priest] a male goat [to be sacrificed] for an offering to cause the altar to be acceptable to me. You must also sacrifice a young bull and a ram, [each] without any defect.
Sieben Tage lang sollst du täglich einen Bock zum Sündopfer herrichten; auch einen jungen Stier und einen Widder vom Kleinvieh, beide fehllos, soll man herrichten.
26 For seven days the priests will consecrate the altar and cause it to be acceptable to me. By doing that they will dedicate it to me.
Sieben Tage hindurch soll man den Altar entsündigen und ihn reinigen und ihn einweihen.
27 At the end of those seven days, starting on the following day, the priests will continue to put on the altar offerings to be completely burned and offerings to maintain fellowship with me. Then I will accept you. [That it what I], Yahweh the Lord, declare.”
Und so sollen sie die Tage zu Ende bringen; am achten Tag aber und weiterhin sollen die Priester auf dem Altar eure Brandopfer und eure Schlachtopfer herrichten, und ich will euch gnädig annehmen, ist der Spruch des Herrn Jahwe.
