Ezekiel 25
1 [Some time later, ] Yahweh gave me another message. [He said, ]
Beseda Gospodova je ponovno prišla k meni, rekoč:
2 “You human, turn toward where the Ammon people- [lives], and prophesy [what will happen to] them.
»Človeški sin, naravnaj svoj obraz proti Amóncem in prerokuj zoper njih;
3 Say about them, ‘This is what Yahweh the Lord says: “You shouted joyfully when my [in Jerusalem] was destroyed, and when the country/land of Israel was ruined, and when the people of Judah were (exiled/forced to go) [to Babylonia].
in reci Amóncem: ›Poslušajte besedo Gospoda Boga. Tako govori Gospod Bog, ker praviš: ›Aha, zoper moje svetišče, ko je bilo oskrunjeno; in zoper Izraelovo deželo, ko je bila zapuščena; in zoper Judovo hišo, ko so odšli v ujetništvo; ‹
4 Therefore, I am going to allow you to be conquered by people [who will come] from the east. They will set up their tents in your country and live there. And they will eat the fruit from [fruit trees] and drink the [from your cattle].
glej, zatorej te bom izročil možem vzhoda za posest in v tebi si bodo postavili svoje palače in svoja prebivališča bodo naredili v tebi. Jedli bodo tvoj sad in pili bodo tvoje mleko.
5 I will [your capital city] Rabbah to become a pasture for camels, and the rest of Ammon to [only] a resting place for sheep. Then you will know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].”
In jaz bom Rabo naredil hlev za kamele in Amónce kraj ležišča za trope, in spoznali boste, da jaz sem Gospod.‹
6 This is what [I], Yahweh the Lord, say: “You clapped your [joyfully] and stomped your feet, and laughed because you despised [the people in] the land of Israel.
Kajti tako govori Gospod Bog: ›Ker si ploskal s svojima rokama in topotal s stopali in se razveseljeval v srcu z vsem svojim prezirom zoper Izraelovo deželo;
7 Therefore, I will use my power [MTY] against you, and I will enable [other] nations [conquer you and] take away your valuable possessions. I will destroy you completely [DOU], with the result that you no longer will be a nation. When that happens, people will know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].’”
glej, zato bom nadte iztegnil svojo roko in te izročil v plen poganom; in jaz te bom odrezal izmed ljudstev in ti povzročil, da izgineš iz dežel. Uničil te bom, in vedel boš, da jaz sem Gospod.‹
8 This is [also] what Yahweh the Lord says: “[The people of] [south of Ammon] and [the people of] [south of Moab despised Israel and] said, ‘The people [MTY] of Israel have [as unimportant] as all the other nations!’
Tako govori Gospod Bog: ›Zato ker Moáb in Seír govorita: ›Glej, Judova hiša je podobna vsem poganom; ‹
9 Therefore, I will destroy the cities that protect the borders of Moab, starting at Beth-Jeshimoth, Baal-Meon, and Kiriathaim, the finest cities in Moab.
zatorej, glej, odprl bom Moábov bok od mest, od njegovih mest, ki so na njegovih mejah, slavo dežele: Bet Ješimót, Báal Meón in Kirjatájim,
10 I will enable people from the east to conquer Moab and also to conquer Ammon. As a result, [I will cause that] Ammon will no longer be remembered by other nations.

11 I will also punish [the people of] Moab. When that happens, they will know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].”
In izvršil bom sodbe nad Moábom; in spoznali bodo, da jaz sem Gospod.‹
12 This is [also] what Yahweh the Lord says: “[You people of] Edom are guilty of getting revenge on the people [MTY] of Judah.
Tako govori Gospod Bog: ›Zato ker je Edóm zoper Judovo hišo ravnal z maščevanjem in [jih] silno užalil in se maščeval nad njimi; ‹
13 Therefore this is what [I], Yahweh the Lord, say: 'I will use my power against [the people of] Edom and will get rid of their men and their animals. I will ruin the land from Teman [region in central Edom] to Dedan [region in the south of Edom], and many of their men will be killed [their enemies] swords.'
zato tako govori Gospod Bog: ›Tudi jaz bom svojo roko iztegnil nad Edóm in iz njega bom iztrebil moža in žival; in opustošil ga bom od Temána; in tisti iz Dedána bodo padli pod mečem.
14 The Israeli people will use their power [MTY] to get revenge on [the people of] Edom. They will show [the people of] Edom that I have been angry with them, and I will punish [MTY] them. The people of Edom will experience my getting revenge on them. Then they will know that I, Yahweh the Lord, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].”
In svoje maščevanje bom položil nad Edóm po roki svojega ljudstva Izraela, in v Edómu bodo storili glede na mojo jezo in glede na mojo razjarjenost; in spoznali bodo moje maščevanje, ‹ govori Gospod Bog.
15 This is [also] what Yahweh the Lord says: “The Philistia people-group wanted very much to get revenge [on the people of Judah]. They very maliciously wanted to destroy [Judah].
Tako govori Gospod Bog: ›Ker so Filistejci postopali z maščevanjem in so se maščevali s krutim srcem, da ga uničijo zaradi starega sovraštva; ‹
16 Therefore this is what I, Yahweh the Lord, say: I am about to use my power [MTY] against the Philistia people. I will get rid of the Kereth people-group and all [those who live along] the coast of the [Mediterranean] Sea.
zato tako govori Gospod Bog: ›Glej, svojo roko bom iztegnil nad Filistejce in iztrebil bom Keretéjce in uničil bom preostanek morske obale.
17 By the way I punish them, I will get great revenge on them and show that I am angry with them. And when I get revenge on them, they will know that I, Yahweh the Lord, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].'”
In nad njimi bom izvršil veliko maščevanje z besnimi grajami; in spoznali bodo, da jaz sem Gospod, ko bom nanje položil svoje maščevanje.‹«
