Ezekiel 25
1 [Some time later, ] Yahweh gave me another message. [He said, ]
Epi pawòl SENYÈ a te rive kote mwen. Li te di:
2 “You human, turn toward where the Ammon people- [lives], and prophesy [what will happen to] them.
Fis a lòm, mete figi ou vè fis a Ammon yo e pwofetize kont yo,
3 Say about them, ‘This is what Yahweh the Lord says: “You shouted joyfully when my [in Jerusalem] was destroyed, and when the country/land of Israel was ruined, and when the people of Judah were (exiled/forced to go) [to Babylonia].
Di a fis a Ammon yo: ‘Tande pawòl Senyè BONDYE a! Konsa pale Senyè BONDYE a: “Akoz ou te di: ‘Ha ha!’ kont sanktyè Mwen an lè li te vin pwofane a, kont peyi Israël lè l te vin dezole nèt la, e kont lakay Juda lè l te antre an egzil la,
4 Therefore, I am going to allow you to be conquered by people [who will come] from the east. They will set up their tents in your country and live there. And they will eat the fruit from [fruit trees] and drink the [from your cattle].
pou sa, gade byen, Mwen va bay ou menm a fis lès yo pou yo genyen ou nèt. Yo va mete kan yo pami ou e fè anplasman yo pami ou. Y ap manje fwi ou yo e bwè lèt ou yo.
5 I will [your capital city] Rabbah to become a pasture for camels, and the rest of Ammon to [only] a resting place for sheep. Then you will know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].”
Mwen va fè Rabba vin yon patiraj pou chamo e fis a Ammon yo vin yon kote pou fè pak pou bann mouton. Konsa, nou va konnen ke Mwen se SENYÈ a.”
6 This is what [I], Yahweh the Lord, say: “You clapped your [joyfully] and stomped your feet, and laughed because you despised [the people in] the land of Israel.
Paske konsa pale Senyè BONDYE a: “Akoz nou te bat men nou, frape pye nou atè e te rejwi ak tout mepriz ki te nan kè nou kont peyi Israël,
7 Therefore, I will use my power [MTY] against you, and I will enable [other] nations [conquer you and] take away your valuable possessions. I will destroy you completely [DOU], with the result that you no longer will be a nation. When that happens, people will know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].’”
pou sa, gade byen, Mwen te lonje men M kont nou e Mwen va bay nou kon piyaj a nasyon yo. Epi Mwen va koupe retire nou nèt de pèp yo, e fè nou peri soti nan peyi yo. Mwen va detwi nou. Konsa, nou va konnen ke Mwen se SENYÈ a.”
8 This is [also] what Yahweh the Lord says: “[The people of] [south of Ammon] and [the people of] [south of Moab despised Israel and] said, ‘The people [MTY] of Israel have [as unimportant] as all the other nations!’
“‘Konsa pale Senyè BONDYE a: “Akoz Moab ak Séir di: ‘Gade byen, lakay Juda a tankou tout nasyon yo,’
9 Therefore, I will destroy the cities that protect the borders of Moab, starting at Beth-Jeshimoth, Baal-Meon, and Kiriathaim, the finest cities in Moab.
pou sa, gade byen, Mwen prive vil li yo de pòsyon bò kote yo, vil ki sou fwontyè li yo, ki se glwa a tout peyi a; Beth-Jeschimoth Baal-Meon, ak Kirjathaïm,
10 I will enable people from the east to conquer Moab and also to conquer Ammon. As a result, [I will cause that] Ammon will no longer be remembered by other nations.
epi Mwen va bay li kon posesyon ansanm avèk fis a Ammon yo bay fis a lès yo, pou fis a Ammon pa vin sonje menm pami nasyon yo.
11 I will also punish [the people of] Moab. When that happens, they will know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].”
Konsa, Mwen va egzekite jijman sou Moab, epi yo va konnen ke Mwen se SENYÈ a.”
12 This is [also] what Yahweh the Lord says: “[You people of] Edom are guilty of getting revenge on the people [MTY] of Judah.
“‘Konsa pale Senyè BONDYE a: “Akoz Édom te aji kont lakay Juda lè l te pran vanjans, e te vin koupab anpil nan vanje tèt yo sou yo,”
13 Therefore this is what [I], Yahweh the Lord, say: 'I will use my power against [the people of] Edom and will get rid of their men and their animals. I will ruin the land from Teman [region in central Edom] to Dedan [region in the south of Edom], and many of their men will be killed [their enemies] swords.'
akoz sa, konsa pale Senyè BONDYE a: “Mwen va osi lonje men M kont Édom e koupe retire nèt ni lòm ni bèt sou li. Mwen va fè dega ladann nèt. Soti nan Théman, jis rive nan Dedan, yo va tonbe pa nepe.
14 The Israeli people will use their power [MTY] to get revenge on [the people of] Edom. They will show [the people of] Edom that I have been angry with them, and I will punish [MTY] them. The people of Edom will experience my getting revenge on them. Then they will know that I, Yahweh the Lord, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].”

15 This is [also] what Yahweh the Lord says: “The Philistia people-group wanted very much to get revenge [on the people of Judah]. They very maliciously wanted to destroy [Judah].
“‘Konsa pale Senyè BONDYE a: “Akoz Filisten yo te aji ak vanjans e te pran vanjans yo avèk tout mepriz a nanm pou detwi ak yon rayisman etènèl,”
16 Therefore this is what I, Yahweh the Lord, say: I am about to use my power [MTY] against the Philistia people. I will get rid of the Kereth people-group and all [those who live along] the coast of the [Mediterranean] Sea.
akoz sa, konsa pale Senyè BONDYE a: “Gade byen, Mwen va lonje men M kont Filisten yo, menm koupe retire Keretyen yo nèt, e detwi retay ki bò kot lanmè a.
17 By the way I punish them, I will get great revenge on them and show that I am angry with them. And when I get revenge on them, they will know that I, Yahweh the Lord, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].'”
Mwen va egzekite gwo vanjans sou yo ak repwòch ki plen ak chalè kòlè Mwen. Epi yo va konnen ke Mwen se SENYÈ a lè Mwen poze vanjans Mwen sou yo a.”’”
