Ezekiel 23
1 Yahweh said to me,
௧யெகோவாவுடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:
2 “You human, [listen to this parable about Jerusalem and Samaria]. Once there were two women, daughters of the same mother.
௨மனிதகுமாரனே, ஒரே தாயின் மகள்களாகிய இரண்டு பெண்கள் இருந்தார்கள்.
3 They lived in Egypt. And from the time that they were young women, they became prostitutes. In that land, [men] fondled their breasts and caressed their bosoms [DOU].
௩அவர்கள் எகிப்திலே விபசாரம் செய்தார்கள்; தங்களுடைய வாலிபத்திலே விபசாரம் செய்தார்கள்; அங்கே அவர்களுடைய மார்பகங்கள் அமுக்கப்பட்டு, அவர்களுடைய கன்னிமையின் முலைக்காம்புகள் தொடப்பட்டது.
4 The older [sister] was Oholah, and her [younger] sister was Oholibah. [It was as though] they became my [wives. Later] they gave birth to sons and daughters. Oholah represents Samaria, and Oholibah represents Jerusalem.
௪அவர்களில் மூத்தவளின் பெயர் அகோலாள், அவளுடைய தங்கையின் பெயர் அகோலிபாள்; அவர்கள் என்னுடையவர்களாகி, மகன்களையும் மகள்களையும் பெற்றார்கள்; இவைகளே அவர்களுடைய பெயர்கள்; அகோலாள் என்பதற்குச் சமாரியா என்றும், அகோலிபாள் என்பதற்கு எருசலேம் என்றும் பொருளாகும்.
5 Oholah acted like a prostitute while she was [still] my wife. She desired to have sex with those she loved—soldiers from Assyria.
௫அகோலாள் என்னுடையவளாக இருக்கும்போது விபசாரியானாள்.
6 [Some of them] were army officers and commanders. They wore [beautiful] blue [uniforms. They were] all handsome young men. Some of them rode horses.
௬சிவப்புகலந்த நீலநிற ஆடை அணிந்த தலைவர்களும், அதிபதிகளும், சௌந்தரிய வாலிபர்களும், குதிரைகளின்மேல் ஏறுகிற வீரர்களுமாக இருந்த அருகாமையின் தேசத்தாராகிய அசீரியர்கள் என்கிற தன்னுடைய நண்பர்கள்மேல் அவள் ஆசைவைத்து,
7 She acted like a prostitute toward all the important Assyrian officials, and became unacceptable to me by worshiping all the idols of the men she wanted to have sex with.
௭அசீரியர்களில் தலைசிறந்தவர்களான அனைவரோடும், தான் ஆசைவைத்த அனைவரோடும் தன்னுடைய விபசாரத்தை நடப்பித்து, அவர்களுடைய அசுத்தமான எல்லா சிலைகளாலும் தீட்டுப்பட்டுப்போனாள்.
8 When she was a young woman in Egypt, she started being a prostitute, and [young] men caressed her breasts and had sex with her; and when she became older, she did not quit acting like a prostitute.
௮தான் எகிப்திலே செய்த விபசாரத்தை அவள் விடவில்லை; அவர்கள் அவளுடைய வாலிபத்திலே அவளுடன் உடல் உறவு கொண்டு, அவளுடைய கன்னிமையின் முலைக்காம்புகளைத் தொட்டு, அவளிடத்தில் தங்களுடைய விபசாரத்தை நடப்பித்தார்கள்.
9 So I allowed the Assyrian soldiers, whom she wanted to have sex with, to capture her.
௯ஆகையால் அவளுடைய சிநேகிதர்களின் கையிலே, அவள் ஆசைகொண்டிருந்த அசீரியர்களின் கையிலே, நான் அவளை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தேன்.
10 They stripped all her clothes off her. They took away her sons and daughters. And then they killed her with a sword. [Other] women started talking about what had happened to her, about how she had been punished.
௧0அவர்கள் அவளை நிர்வாணமாக்கினார்கள்; அவளுடைய மகன்களையும் அவளுடைய மகள்களையும் சிறைபிடித்து, அவளையோ வாளினால் கொன்றுபோட்டார்கள்; அப்படியே அவளிடத்தில் தண்டனைகள் செய்யப்பட்டபடியால் பெண்களுக்குள் அவமதிக்கப்பட்டாள்.
11 [younger] sister Oholibah saw those [that happened to Oholah], but she was a prostitute, and she desired to have sex with men more than [older] sister had desired.
௧௧அவளுடைய தங்கையாகிய அகோலிபாள் இதைக் கண்டும், தன்னுடைய மோகவிகாரத்தில் அவளைவிட கெட்டவளானாள்; தன்னுடைய சகோதரியின் விபசாரங்களிலும் தன்னுடைய விபசாரங்கள் அதிகமானது.
12 Oholibah [also] wanted to have sex with the Assyrian soldiers. [Some of them were] army officers and commanders. [They all] wore beautiful blue uniforms. They were all handsome young men. [Some of] them rode horses.
௧௨மகா அலங்கார உடுப்புள்ள தலைவர்களும், அதிபதிகளும், குதிரை வீரரும், அழகுமுள்ள வாலிபர்களுமான அருகிலுள்ள தேசத்தாராகிய அசீரியர்களின்மேல் ஆசைக்கொண்டாள்.
13 I saw what she did that caused her to became unacceptable to me, just like [older] sister.
௧௩அவளும் அசுத்தமானாள் என்றும், அவர்கள் இருவரும் ஒரே வழியில் போனார்கள் என்றும் கண்டேன்.
14 But she did [even] worse things. She saw drawings of men from Babylonia on the walls, painted in red.
௧௪அவள் தன்னுடைய விபசாரங்களில் அதிகரித்தாள்; சுவரில் சிவப்பு நிறத்தால் வரையப்பட்ட கல்தேய ஆண்களின் உருவங்களைக் கண்டாள்.
15 The [in the drawings] had belts around their waists and long turbans on their heads. They all resembled officers from Babylonia [DOU] [who rode in chariots].
௧௫அவர்கள் எல்லோரும் தங்களுடைய பிறப்பிடமான கல்தேயாவில் உள்ள பாபிலோனியர்களைப் போல தங்களுடைய இடுப்பில் வார்க்கச்சை கட்டினவர்களும், தங்களுடைய தலைகளில் வண்ணம் தீட்டப்பட்ட பெரிய தலைப்பாகைகளை அணிந்தவர்களும், பார்வைக்கு படைத்தலைவர்களைப்போல தோற்றமுள்ளவர்களாக இருந்தார்கள்.
16 As soon as she saw those drawings, she wanted to have sex with those men, and she sent messages to them in Babylonia.
௧௬அவளுடைய கண்கள் அவர்களைப் பார்த்தவுடனே, அவள் அவர்கள்மேல் ஆசைவைத்து, கல்தேயாவுக்கு அவர்கள் அருகிலே தூதுவர்களை அனுப்பினாள்.
17 Then the soldiers from Babylonia came to her, they lay in bed with her, and they had sex with her. Then she became disgusted with them and turned away from them.
௧௭அப்பொழுது பாபிலோனியர்கள் அவள் அருகிலே வந்து காமத்திற்கு, தங்களுடைய விபசாரத்தால் அவளைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தினார்கள்; அவள் இவர்களால் தீட்டுப்பட்டுப்போனபின்பு, அவளுடைய மனது அவர்களை விட்டுப் பிரிந்தது.
18 But when she continued to openly/boldly act like a prostitute [DOU], I became disgusted with her, and I rejected her like I had rejected [older] sister.
௧௮இவ்விதமாக அவள் தன்னுடைய விபசாரங்களை வெளிப்படுத்தி, தன்னை நிர்வாணமாக்கினபோது, என்னுடைய மனம் அவளுடைய சகோதரியை விட்டுப் பிரிந்ததுபோல அவளையும் விட்டுப் பிரிந்தது.
19 But she became even more immoral, as she remembered when she was a young woman who was a prostitute in Egypt.
௧௯அவள் எகிப்துதேசத்திலே விபசாரம்செய்த தன்னுடைய வாலிபத்தின் நாட்களை நினைத்து, தன்னுடைய விபசாரங்களில் அதிகரித்துப்போனாள்.
20 There she wanted to have sex with those who loved her, whose genitals were [very long], like [SIM] those of donkeys, and whose sexual emissions were huge, [like] those of horses.
௨0கழுதையின் உறுப்புப்போல உறுப்பும், குதிரையின் விந்தைப்போன்ற விந்துள்ள அவர்களுக்கு அவள் வைப்பாட்டியாக இருக்கும்படி அவர்கள்மேல் ஆசைவைத்தாள்.
21 So she desired to be immoral like she was when she was young, when men in Egypt caressed her bosom and fondled her breasts.”
௨௧எகிப்தியர்களால் உன்னுடைய கன்னிமையின் மார்பகங்களாகிய முலைக்காம்புகள் தொடப்பட்ட காலத்தில், நீ உன்னுடைய வாலிபத்தில் செய்த முறைகேடுகளை நினைத்துவருகிறாய்.
22 “[represents you people of Jerusalem]. Therefore, this is what [I], Yahweh the Lord say: ‘I will cause those [soldiers] who loved you but whom you turned away from because you became disgusted with them, to be angry with you. I will cause them to come and attack you from every side—
௨௨ஆகையால், அகோலிபாளே, யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: இதோ, உன்னுடைய மனது விட்டுப்பிரிந்த உன்னை நேசித்தவர்களை நான் உனக்கு விரோதமாக எழுப்பி, உனக்கு விரோதமாக அவர்களைச் சுற்றிலும் வரச்செய்வேன்.
23 soldiers from Babylon and all the other places in Babylonia, [their allies] from Pekod and Shoa and [regions], and all the army of Assyria. [Yes], all of them are handsome young men, army officers and commanders, officers who ride in chariots, all riding on horses.
௨௩அழகுள்ள வாலிபர்களும், தலைவர்களும், அதிபதிகளும், குதிரைகள்மேல் ஏறுகிற வீரர்களுமாகிய பெயர்பெற்ற பிரபுக்களான பாபிலோனியர்களையும், கல்தேயர்கள் எல்லோரையும், பேகோடு, சோவா, கோவா என்கிற தேசங்களின் மனிதர்களையும் அவர்களுடன் அசீரியர்கள் எல்லோரையும் வரச்செய்வேன்.
24 Their huge army will attack you with weapons, riding in chariots and pulling wagons [that will carry their army supplies]. They will surround you, carrying large and small shields, and wearing helmets. I will allow them to capture you and punish you in the way that they [always] [their enemies].
௨௪அவர்கள் வண்டிகளுடனும், இரதங்களுடனும், இயந்திரங்களுடனும், மக்கள்கூட்டத்துடனும், கேடகங்களும், சிரியகேடகங்களும், தலைச்சீராக்களும் அணிந்தவர்களாக, உனக்கு விரோதமாக வந்து, உன்னை சுற்றிலும் முகாமிடுவார்கள்; அவர்களுக்கு முன்னே நான் நியாயத்தை விளங்கச்செய்வேன்; அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய நியாயங்களின்படி உன்னை நியாயந்தீர்ப்பார்கள்.
25 Because I am very angry with you, I will cause them to act [very] furiously toward you. They will cut off your noses and your ears. Then, those who are still alive, they will kill with their swords. They will take away your sons and daughters, and a fire will burn up those who remain alive.
௨௫உனக்கு விரோதமாக என்னுடைய எரிச்சலை வெளிப்படுத்துவேன்; அவர்கள் உன்னை கடுங்கோபமாக நடத்தி, உன்னுடைய மூக்கையும் உன்னுடைய காதுகளையும் அறுத்துப்போடுவார்கள்; உன்னில் மீதியாக இருப்பவர்கள் வாளால் வெட்டப்பட்டுபோவார்கள்; அவர்கள் உன்னுடைய மகன்களையும் உன்னுடைய மகள்களையும் பிடித்துக்கொள்ளுவார்கள்; உன்னில் மீதியாக இருப்பவர்கள் நெருப்புக்கு இரையாவார்கள்.
26 They will strip off your clothes and your fine jewelry and take them away.
௨௬அவர்கள் உன்னுடைய ஆடைகளை கழற்றி, உன்னுடைய அழகான ஆபரணங்களைப் பறித்துக்கொள்ளுவார்கள்.
27 In that way, I will stop all the immoral behavior that began when you became a prostitute in Egypt. You will no longer desire to do those things, or think [what you did in] Egypt.’
௨௭இப்படியாக உன்னுடைய முறைகேட்டையும், நீ எகிப்துதேசத்தில் துவங்கின உன்னுடைய விபசாரத்தையும் ஒழியச்செய்வேன்; நீ இனி அவர்களை பார்க்க உன்னுடைய கண்களை ஏறெடுக்காமலும், எகிப்தை நினைக்காமலும் இருப்பாய்.
28 This is what [I], Yahweh the Lord say: ‘I am about to allow those whom you hate, those you became disgusted with and turned away from, to capture you.
௨௮யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: இதோ, நீ பகைக்கிறவர்களின் கையிலும், உன்னுடைய மனம்விட்டுப் பிரிந்தவர்களின் கையிலும் நான் உன்னை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன்.
29 They will be cruel and take away everything that you have worked hard to acquire. They will leave you completely naked [DOU], and everyone will see that you truly are a prostitute.
௨௯அவர்கள் உன்னை வெறுப்பாக நடத்தி, உன்னுடைய உழைப்பின் பலனையெல்லாம் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, உன்னை முழுவதும் நிர்வாணமாக்கிவிடுவார்கள்; அப்படியே உன்னுடைய வெட்கக்கேடும் உன்னுடைய முறைகேடுமான உன்னுடைய விபசாரத்தின் நிர்வாணம் வெளிப்படுத்தப்படும்.
30 It is because of what you have done that you will be punished like that; you have been an immoral prostitute; you have had sex with men of other nations, and you have caused yourselves to become unacceptable to me [worshiping] their idols.
௩0நீ அந்நியதேசங்களைப் பின்தொடர்ந்து, அவர்களுடைய அசுத்தமான சிலைகளால் உன்னைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்திக்கொண்ட உன்னுடைய விபசாரத்தினால் இவைகள் உனக்குச் செய்யப்படும்.
31 You have behaved [the people of Samaria, who are like] your [older] sister. So I will cause you to be punished [MET] like they were punished.’
௩௧உன்னுடைய சகோதரியின் வழியிலே நீ நடந்தாய்; ஆகையால் அவளுடைய பாத்திரத்தை உன்னுடைய கையிலே கொடுப்பேன்.
32 This is what [I], Yahweh the Lord, say: ‘[You will suffer like people suffer when they drink from a cup a lot of strong alcoholic drink]: [It will be as though] you will drink from the cup that the people of Samaria drank from; a big and tall cup. Because of your drinking what is in that cup, many people will scorn you and make fun of you because there is a lot of liquid in that cup.
௩௨யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: நீ உன்னுடைய சகோதரியினுடைய ஆழமும் அகலமுமானதும் நிறைய வார்க்கப்பட்டதுமான பாத்திரத்தைக் குடித்து, நகைப்பும் பரியாசமுமாவாய்.
33 When you become very drunk, you will become very sad, [drinking what is in] that cup [MTY] will cause you to become ruined and deserted, like what happened [MET] to [the people of] Samaria, [who are like] [MET] your sister.
௩௩சமாரியா என்னும் உன்னுடைய சகோதரியினுடைய பாத்திரமாக இருக்கிற துயரமும் அழிவும் என்கிற பாத்திரத்தால் வெறியினாலும் சஞ்சலத்தினாலும் நிறையப்படுவாய்.
34 You will drink all the liquid that is in that cup; then you will break that cup into pieces [use those pieces to] gash/cut your [because you will be very sad].’ [That will surely happen because] I, Yahweh, have said it.
௩௪நீ அதில் இருக்கிறதைக் குடித்து, உறிஞ்சி, அதின் ஓடுகளை உடைத்துப்போட்டு, உன்னுடைய மார்பகங்களைக் கீறிக்கொள்வாய்; நான் இதைச் சொன்னேன் என்று யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.
35 Therefore, this is what [I], Yahweh the Lord, say: ‘Because you have forgotten me and rejected me [IDM], you must be punished for your immoral behavior and for [like] a prostitute.’”
௩௫ஆகையால், நீ என்னை மறந்து, என்னை உனக்கு வெளியே தள்ளிவிட்டதற்காக, நீ உன்னுடைய முறைகேட்டையும் உன்னுடைய விபசாரங்களையும் சுமப்பாய் என்று யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.
36 Yahweh said to me, “You human, you must [RHQ] [the people of those two cities represented by] Oholah and Oholibah. You must remind them of their detestable behavior:
௩௬பின்னும் யெகோவா என்னை நோக்கி: மனிதகுமாரனே. நீ அகோலாளையும் அகோலிபாளையும் குறித்து வழக்காட மனதிருந்தால், அவர்களுடைய அருவருப்புகளை அவர்களுக்குத் எடுத்துக்காட்டு.
37 [It is as though the people of those cities] have committed adultery and have murdered [MTY] people. They have been unfaithful to me by [worshiping] idols. They have even sacrificed their own children, who belonged to me, to be food for their idols.
௩௭அவர்கள் விபசாரம்செய்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் கைகளில் இரத்தமும் இருக்கிறது; அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய அசுத்தமான சிலைகளுடன் விபசாரம்செய்து, தாங்கள் எனக்குப்பெற்ற தங்களுடைய பிள்ளைகளையும் அவைகளுக்கு இரையாகத் தீயில் பலியிட்டார்கள்.
38 They have done [disgraceful things]: They have caused my temple to be an unacceptable place for worship, and have not respected the Sabbath days.
௩௮அன்றியும் அவர்கள் என்னுடைய பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தை அந்தநாளிலேதானே தீட்டுப்படுத்தி, என்னுடைய ஓய்வு நாட்களைப் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்கினார்கள்.
39 On the same day that they sacrificed their children to their idols, they entered my temple, which caused it to be an unacceptable place for worshiping me.
௩௯அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய பிள்ளைகளைத் தங்களுடைய அசுத்தமான சிலைகளுக்கென்று பலியிட்டபின்பு, அவர்கள் என்னுடைய பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தைப் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்க அந்த நாளில்தானே அதற்குள் நுழைந்தார்கள்; இதோ, என்னுடைய ஆலயத்தின் நடுவிலே இப்படிச் செய்தார்கள்.
40 They sent messages to men [in countries] far away. And when those men arrived, [the women of those two cities] bathed themselves for them, painted their eyebrows, and put on jewelry.
௪0இதுவும் இல்லாமல், தூரத்திலுள்ள ஆண்களிடத்திற்குத் தூது அனுப்பி, அவர்களை வரவழைத்தார்கள், அவர்கள் வந்தார்கள்; அவர்களுக்கென்று நீ குளித்து, உன்னுடைய கண்களில் மையிட்டுக்கொண்டு ஆபரணங்களால் உன்னை அலங்கரித்து,
41 They sat on a beautiful couch, with a table in front of it on which they had put incense and [olive] oil that belonged to me.
௪௧சிறந்த கட்டிலின்மேல் உட்கார்ந்துகொண்டாய்; அதின் முன்னே ஒரு பீடம் ஆயத்தம் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தது; என்னுடைய தூபவர்க்கத்தையும் என்னுடைய எண்ணெயையும் அதின்மேல் வைத்தாய்.
42 Soon there was a noisy crowd around them. Among the crowd there were men from Sheba who had come from the [of Arabia]. They put bracelets on the arms of the [two] sisters and put beautiful crowns on their heads.
௪௨அவளிடத்திலே அந்தச் கூட்டத்தின் இரைச்சல் அடங்கின பின்பு, மக்கள் கூட்டமான ஆண்களையும் அழைத்தனுப்பினார்கள்; குடிகாரர்கள் வனாந்திரத்திலிருந்து கொண்டுவரப்பட்டார்கள்; இவர்கள் அவர்களுடைய கைகளில் காப்புகளையும் அவர்களுடைய தலைகளில் அலங்காரமான கிரீடங்களையும் போட்டார்கள்.
43 Then I said about the woman who had become exhausted by her having sex with many men, ‘Now allow those men to act toward her as though she is a prostitute, because that is all that she is.’
௪௩விபசாரங்களில் கிழவியானவளைக் குறித்து அவள் இன்னும் தன்னுடைய விபசாரங்களைச் செய்வாளோ என்றேன்.
44 So they had sex [EUP] with those two women, Oholah and Oholibah, like men have sex with prostitutes.
௪௪விபசாரிகளிடத்திலே போவதுபோல அவளிடத்தில் போனார்கள்; இப்படியாக முறைகேடானவர்களாகிய அகோலாளிடத்திலும் அகோலிபாளிடத்திலும் போனார்கள்.
45 But righteous men will condemn them to be punished, like women who commit adultery and who murder others are punished, because those women commit adultery and they murder [MTY] others.
௪௫ஆகையால், விபசாரிகளை நியாயந்தீர்க்கிறபடியாகவும், இரத்தம்சிந்தும் பெண்களை நியாயந்தீர்க்கிறபடியாகவும், நீதிமான்கள் அவர்களை நியாயந்தீர்ப்பார்கள்; அவர்கள் விபசாரிகள், அவர்களுடைய கைகளில் இரத்தம் இருக்கிறது.
46 So this is what [I], Yahweh the Lord, say: Bring a mob to attack Samaria and Jerusalem, and allow that mob to cause the people of those cities to be terrified, and to rob them.
௪௬யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: நான் அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாக ஒரு கூட்டத்தை வரச்செய்து, அவர்களை அலைச்சலுக்கும் கொள்ளைக்கும் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன்.
47 The mob will throw stones at [to kill them]; they will cut them into pieces with their swords, they will kill their sons and daughters, and burn down their houses.
௪௭அந்தக் கூட்டத்தார் அவர்களைக் கல்லெறிந்து, தங்களுடைய வாளால் வெட்டிப்போடுவார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய மகன்களையும் அவர்களுடைய மகள்களையும் கொன்று, அவர்களுடைய வீடுகளை நெருப்பால் சுட்டெரிப்பார்கள்.
48 In that way I will cause them to stop their immoral behavior. It will warn other women to not imitate/do what you people of Jerusalem are doing.
௪௮இவ்விதமாக எல்லா பெண்களும் புத்தியடைந்து, உங்களுடைய முறைகேடுகளைச் செய்யாதிருக்கும்படி, முறைகேட்டைத் தேசத்தைவிட்டு ஒழியச்செய்வேன்.
49 [people of Jerusalem] will be punished for your immoral behavior and for your worshiping idols. Then you will know that I, Yahweh the Lord, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].”
௪௯உங்களுடைய முறைகேட்டை உங்கள்மேல் சுமத்துவார்கள்; அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் உங்களுடைய அசுத்தமான சிலைகளை வணங்கிய பாவங்களைச் சுமந்து, நான் யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்.
