Ezekiel 23
1 Yahweh said to me,
Das Wort des Herrn erging an mich:
2 “You human, [listen to this parable about Jerusalem and Samaria]. Once there were two women, daughters of the same mother.
"Hör, Menschensohn! Zwei Weiber lebten einst, die Töchter einer Mutter.
3 They lived in Egypt. And from the time that they were young women, they became prostitutes. In that land, [men] fondled their breasts and caressed their bosoms [DOU].
Sie buhlten in Ägypten. Sie buhlten dort in ihrer Jugendzeit, und dort berührte man den jugendlichen Busen.
4 The older [sister] was Oholah, and her [younger] sister was Oholibah. [It was as though] they became my [wives. Later] they gave birth to sons and daughters. Oholah represents Samaria, and Oholibah represents Jerusalem.
Sie hießen Ohola, die ältere, Oholiba, die Schwester. Sie wurden mir verbunden, gebaren dann auch Söhne, Töchter. Samaria wird Ohola, Jerusalem Oholiba genannt.
5 Oholah acted like a prostitute while she was [still] my wife. She desired to have sex with those she loved—soldiers from Assyria.
Da buhlte Ohola, obgleich mir angehörend, und wurde gegen ihre Buhlen liebetrunken, die Söhne Assurs, die sie sich aussuchten.
6 [Some of them] were army officers and commanders. They wore [beautiful] blue [uniforms. They were] all handsome young men. Some of them rode horses.
Da waren Fürsten und Satrapen, purpurblau gekleidet, und Jünglinge von reizender Gestalt, und Reiter, die zu Pferde saßen.
7 She acted like a prostitute toward all the important Assyrian officials, and became unacceptable to me by worshiping all the idols of the men she wanted to have sex with.
Sie gab sich ihnen preis zur Buhlerei, den auserlesenen Söhnen Assurs insgesamt, und sie befleckte sich mit ihnen allen, mit denen sie der Liebe pflog, mit allen ihren Unreinheiten.
8 When she was a young woman in Egypt, she started being a prostitute, and [young] men caressed her breasts and had sex with her; and when she became older, she did not quit acting like a prostitute.
Daneben ließ sie nicht von ihren Buhlereien mit Ägypten. Sie lagen bei ihr schon in ihrer Jugendzeit, berührten ihren jugendlichen Busen und lebten so mit ihr in ausschweifendem Genuß.
9 So I allowed the Assyrian soldiers, whom she wanted to have sex with, to capture her.
Ich gab sie deshalb ihren Buhlen preis, den Söhnen Assurs, gegen die sie liebetrunken war.
10 They stripped all her clothes off her. They took away her sons and daughters. And then they killed her with a sword. [Other] women started talking about what had happened to her, about how she had been punished.
Und sie enthüllten ihre Blöße und nahmen ihre Söhne, ihre Töchter fort und töteten sie selber mit dem Schwert. So wurde sie ein Denkmal für die Weiber, nachdem das Strafgericht an ihr vollzogen war.
11 [younger] sister Oholibah saw those [that happened to Oholah], but she was a prostitute, and she desired to have sex with men more than [older] sister had desired.
Obschon dies ihre Schwester, die Oholiba, gesehen, trieb sie noch ärger ihre Liebelei als jene und stärker ihre Buhlerei als ihre Schwester.
12 Oholibah [also] wanted to have sex with the Assyrian soldiers. [Some of them were] army officers and commanders. [They all] wore beautiful blue uniforms. They were all handsome young men. [Some of] them rode horses.
Und sie entbrannte gegen Assurs Söhne, die Fürsten und Satrapen, einen nach dem andern, die auf das prächtigste gekleidet waren, die Reiter, auf den Rossen reitend, und lauter Jünglinge von reizender Gestalt.
13 I saw what she did that caused her to became unacceptable to me, just like [older] sister.
Ich sah es, wie sie sich befleckte; sie gingen beide einen Weg.
14 But she did [even] worse things. She saw drawings of men from Babylonia on the walls, painted in red.
Doch trieb sie ihre Buhlerei noch weiter; sie sah da Männer, auf die Wand gemalt, die Bilder von Chaldäern, mit Mennige gemalt,
15 The [in the drawings] had belts around their waists and long turbans on their heads. They all resembled officers from Babylonia [DOU] [who rode in chariots].
mit einem Gürtel um die Hüften, das Haupt mit einem Turban wohlbedeckt, sie allesamt wie Kriegsgewaltige anzusehen, den Söhnen Babels gleich, nach ihrem Vaterland genannt Chaldäer.
16 As soon as she saw those drawings, she wanted to have sex with those men, and she sent messages to them in Babylonia.
Beim ersten Blicke ihrer Augen ward sie schon liebetrunken gegen sie und sandte Boten hin zu ihnen nach Chaldäa.
17 Then the soldiers from Babylonia came to her, they lay in bed with her, and they had sex with her. Then she became disgusted with them and turned away from them.
Da kamen Babels Söhne her zu ihr, zum Liebeslager, und sie bedeckten sie mit ihrer Buhlerei. Sie ließ sich gern durch sie beflecken und stillte ihre Lust an ihnen.
18 But when she continued to openly/boldly act like a prostitute [DOU], I became disgusted with her, and I rejected her like I had rejected [older] sister.
Da sie so offen Unzucht trieb und ihre Blöße enthüllte, riß ich meine Seele von ihr los, wie meine Seele sich von ihrer Schwester losgerissen.
19 But she became even more immoral, as she remembered when she was a young woman who was a prostitute in Egypt.
Doch trieb sie ihre Buhlerei noch weiter, und sie gedachte ihrer Jugendtage, da sie gebuhlt im Land Ägypten
20 There she wanted to have sex with those who loved her, whose genitals were [very long], like [SIM] those of donkeys, and whose sexual emissions were huge, [like] those of horses.
und da nach solchen Buhlen sie verlangte, die stark wie Esel waren, vollsaftig wie Hengste.
21 So she desired to be immoral like she was when she was young, when men in Egypt caressed her bosom and fondled her breasts.”
Du sahst dich nach der Unzucht deiner Jugend um, wo die Ägypter deine Brust berührten und deinen jugendlichen Busen.
22 “[represents you people of Jerusalem]. Therefore, this is what [I], Yahweh the Lord say: ‘I will cause those [soldiers] who loved you but whom you turned away from because you became disgusted with them, to be angry with you. I will cause them to come and attack you from every side—
Deshalb, Oholiba, spricht so der Herr: 'Fürwahr, jetzt reize ich die gegen dich, die mit dir Liebe pflogen, an denen du die Lüste stilltest, und führe sie von überall her gegen dich heran,
23 soldiers from Babylon and all the other places in Babylonia, [their allies] from Pekod and Shoa and [regions], and all the army of Assyria. [Yes], all of them are handsome young men, army officers and commanders, officers who ride in chariots, all riding on horses.
die Söhne Babels, die Chaldäer all, Pekod und So und Ko, die Söhne Assurs insgesamt dabei, die Jünglinge von reizender Gestalt, die Fürsten und Satrapen insgesamt, Kriegsoberste und Aufgebotene, auf Rossen alle reitend.
24 Their huge army will attack you with weapons, riding in chariots and pulling wagons [that will carry their army supplies]. They will surround you, carrying large and small shields, and wearing helmets. I will allow them to capture you and punish you in the way that they [always] [their enemies].
Dann kommen gegen dich Gewappnete mit Wagen und mit Fahrzeugen, mit einer Schar von Völkern, mit Tartschen, Schilden, Helmen, und lagern rings um dich. Dann überlaß ich ihnen selbst das Urteil, damit sie dich nach ihren eigenen Gesetzen richten.
25 Because I am very angry with you, I will cause them to act [very] furiously toward you. They will cut off your noses and your ears. Then, those who are still alive, they will kill with their swords. They will take away your sons and daughters, and a fire will burn up those who remain alive.
Ich drücke jetzt den Stempel meiner Eifersucht dir auf, so daß sie grimmig dich behandeln dürfen. Sie schneiden dir die Nase und die Ohren ab. Dein Rest stürzt durch das Schwert. Sie schleppen deine Söhne, deine Töchter fort; was übrigbleibt von dir, wird durch das Feuer aufgefressen.
26 They will strip off your clothes and your fine jewelry and take them away.
Sie ziehen dein Gewand dir aus und nehmen dir die Schmuckgeräte.
27 In that way, I will stop all the immoral behavior that began when you became a prostitute in Egypt. You will no longer desire to do those things, or think [what you did in] Egypt.’
Ein Ende mache ich so deinem Lasterleben und deiner Buhlerei, die aus Ägypterlande stammt. Du schaust nicht mehr nach ihnen und denkst nicht weiter an Ägypten.'"
28 This is what [I], Yahweh the Lord say: ‘I am about to allow those whom you hate, those you became disgusted with and turned away from, to capture you.
So spricht der Herr, der Herr: "Ich geb dich in die Hände derer, die du heute nicht mehr magst, an denen du die Lüste stilltest.
29 They will be cruel and take away everything that you have worked hard to acquire. They will leave you completely naked [DOU], and everyone will see that you truly are a prostitute.
Sie werden dich mit Haß behandeln und dir alles nehmen, was du dir erworben. Sie lassen dich dann nackt und bloß daliegen, mit aufgedeckter Blöße, womit du Unzucht, Buhlerei und Hurerei getrieben.
30 It is because of what you have done that you will be punished like that; you have been an immoral prostitute; you have had sex with men of other nations, and you have caused yourselves to become unacceptable to me [worshiping] their idols.
Dies widerfährt dir wegen deiner Buhlerei mit Heiden; mit ihren Abgöttern hast du dich schwer befleckt.
31 You have behaved [the people of Samaria, who are like] your [older] sister. So I will cause you to be punished [MET] like they were punished.’
Auf deiner Schwester Weg bist du gewandelt; drum gebe ich dir ihren Becher in die Hand."
32 This is what [I], Yahweh the Lord, say: ‘[You will suffer like people suffer when they drink from a cup a lot of strong alcoholic drink]: [It will be as though] you will drink from the cup that the people of Samaria drank from; a big and tall cup. Because of your drinking what is in that cup, many people will scorn you and make fun of you because there is a lot of liquid in that cup.
So spricht der Herr, der Herr: "Den Becher deiner Schwester mußt du leeren, so groß an Umfang und Gehalt, daß du zum Hohn und zum Gelächter wirst.
33 When you become very drunk, you will become very sad, [drinking what is in] that cup [MTY] will cause you to become ruined and deserted, like what happened [MET] to [the people of] Samaria, [who are like] [MET] your sister.
Berauscht wirst du voll schmerzlicher Gefühle. Ein Becher zum Entsetzen und Erstarren ist der Becher deiner Schwester Samaria.
34 You will drink all the liquid that is in that cup; then you will break that cup into pieces [use those pieces to] gash/cut your [because you will be very sad].’ [That will surely happen because] I, Yahweh, have said it.
Den mußt du trinken, ihn ausschlürfen und seine Scherbe noch belecken, dabei die Brust zerfleischen. Ich droh' dir's an." Ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn.
35 Therefore, this is what [I], Yahweh the Lord, say: ‘Because you have forgotten me and rejected me [IDM], you must be punished for your immoral behavior and for [like] a prostitute.’”
"Nun also", spricht der Herr, der Herr, "dieweil du mich vergessen, mich hintangesetzt, so büße du für deine Unzucht, deine Buhlerei!"
36 Yahweh said to me, “You human, you must [RHQ] [the people of those two cities represented by] Oholah and Oholibah. You must remind them of their detestable behavior:
Da sprach der Herr zu mir: "O Menschensohn! Willst du mit Ohola und mit Oholiba nicht rechten? Halt ihnen ihre Greuel vor,
37 [It is as though the people of those cities] have committed adultery and have murdered [MTY] people. They have been unfaithful to me by [worshiping] idols. They have even sacrificed their own children, who belonged to me, to be food for their idols.
daß Ehebruch sie treiben, daß Blut an ihren Händen klebt, daß sie mit ihren Götzen Ehebruch getrieben, ja, daß sie ihre Söhne, die sie mir geboren, sogar zur Speise ihnen dargebracht!
38 They have done [disgraceful things]: They have caused my temple to be an unacceptable place for worship, and have not respected the Sabbath days.
Auch das noch taten sie mir an, daß sie am selben Tag mein Heiligtum entweihten und meine Sabbate entheiligten.
39 On the same day that they sacrificed their children to their idols, they entered my temple, which caused it to be an unacceptable place for worshiping me.
Denn schlachteten sie ihre Söhne ihren Götzen, betraten sie am selben Tage noch mein Heiligtum, und so entweihten sie's auf diese Art. So trieben sie's inmitten meines Hauses.
40 They sent messages to men [in countries] far away. And when those men arrived, [the women of those two cities] bathed themselves for them, painted their eyebrows, and put on jewelry.
Auch schickten sie nach Leuten, die aus der Ferne kommen sollten. Zu ihnen wurden Boten abgesandt; sie kamen, ihretwegen hast du dich gebadet und geschminkt die Augen und Schmuck dir angelegt.
41 They sat on a beautiful couch, with a table in front of it on which they had put incense and [olive] oil that belonged to me.
Dann setztest du dich auf ein Prachtbett nieder; davor stand ein gedeckter Tisch; auf diesen stelltest du mein Räucherwerk und Öl.
42 Soon there was a noisy crowd around them. Among the crowd there were men from Sheba who had come from the [of Arabia]. They put bracelets on the arms of the [two] sisters and put beautiful crowns on their heads.
Alsdann erscholl daran die Stimme einer frohen Menge; den Männern setzten Weibermassen Trockenweine vor, und diese legten jenen Spangen an die Arme und setzten schmucke Diademe auf ihr Haupt.
43 Then I said about the woman who had become exhausted by her having sex with many men, ‘Now allow those men to act toward her as though she is a prostitute, because that is all that she is.’
Da sagte ich von der im Ehebruch Verblühten: Jetzt treiben sie mit ihr noch Buhlerei, wie sie auch selber.
44 So they had sex [EUP] with those two women, Oholah and Oholibah, like men have sex with prostitutes.
Wie man zu einem buhlerischen Weibe geht, so gehen sie zu Ohola und Oholiba, zu den verbuhlten Weibern.
45 But righteous men will condemn them to be punished, like women who commit adultery and who murder others are punished, because those women commit adultery and they murder [MTY] others.
Gerechte Männer aber werden über sie erkennen nach dem Gesetz für Ehebrecherinnen und für Mörderinnen. Denn Ehebrecherinnen sind sie ja; an ihren Händen klebt auch Blut."
46 So this is what [I], Yahweh the Lord, say: Bring a mob to attack Samaria and Jerusalem, and allow that mob to cause the people of those cities to be terrified, and to rob them.
Denn also spricht der Herr, der Herr: "Man rufe eine Volksversammlung wider sie zusammen und geb' sie der Mißhandlung und Beraubung preis!
47 The mob will throw stones at [to kill them]; they will cut them into pieces with their swords, they will kill their sons and daughters, and burn down their houses.
Die Volksversammlung soll sie steinigen und mit den Schwertern niederhauen und ihre Söhne, ihre Töchter niedermetzeln und ihre Häuser niederbrennen!
48 In that way I will cause them to stop their immoral behavior. It will warn other women to not imitate/do what you people of Jerusalem are doing.
Der Unzucht mache ich im Land ein Ende, daß alle Weiber sich daraus zur Warnung nehmen, nicht so wie ihr zu buhlen.
49 [people of Jerusalem] will be punished for your immoral behavior and for your worshiping idols. Then you will know that I, Yahweh the Lord, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].”
Und haben sie euch mit der Strafe eurer Buhlerei belegt, und büßet ihr für euren Götzendienst, dann seht ihr ein, daß ich der Herr bin, ich, der Herr."
