Ezekiel 22

1 Yahweh gave me another message. He said,

௧பின்னும் யெகோவாவுடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:

2 “You human, are you ready to condemn the people of Jerusalem? It is [RHQ] a city full of murderers [MTY]. Remind them of all the detestable things that they have done.

௨இப்போதும் மனிதகுமாரனே, இரத்தம்சிந்தின நகரத்துக்காக நீ வழக்காடுவாயோ? வழக்காட மனதிருந்தால், நீ அதின் அருவருப்புகளையெல்லாம் அதற்குத் தெரியப்படுத்தி,

3 [Then] say, ‘This is what Yahweh the Lord says: By your murdering people and by (defiling yourselves/making yourselves unacceptable to God) by making idols, you people of this city [APO] have brought to yourselves the time when you [will be destroyed].

௩அதை நோக்கி: யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால், உன்னுடைய காலம் வரக்கூடியதாக உன்னுடைய நடுவிலே இரத்தம்சிந்துகிறதும், உன்னைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தத்தக்கதாக உனக்கே விரோதமாக அசுத்தமான சிலைகளை உண்டாக்கின நகரமே,

4 You have become guilty by doing both of those things [DOU]. You have brought to an end your time [to remain alive] [DOU]. Therefore I will cause you to become a group whom the [people of other] nations will scorn; they will all laugh at you [DOU].

௪நீ சிந்தின உன்னுடைய இரத்தத்தினால் நீ குற்றம்சுமந்ததாகி நீ உண்டாக்கின உன்னுடைய அசுத்தமான சிலைகளால் நீ தீட்டுப்பட்டு, உன்னுடைய நாட்களை நெருங்கச்செய்து, உன்னுடைய வருடங்களை நிறைவேற்றினாய்; ஆகையால் நான் உன்னைப் அந்நியமக்களுக்கு நிந்தையாகவும், தேசங்களுக்கெல்லாம் பரியாசமாகவும் வைப்பேன்.

5 People in countries that are near you and people who live far from you will make fun of you, because your city is full of lawless people and full of confusion.

௫உனக்கு அருகிலும் உனக்குத் தூரமுமான தேசங்களின் மனிதர்கள் நீ பெயர்கெட்டதென்றும், அமளி பெருத்ததென்றும் உன்னைப் பரியாசம்செய்வார்கள்.

6 Think about how each of your Israeli kings have used their power to cause people to be murdered [MTY].

௬இதோ, இஸ்ரவேலின் அதிபதிகளில் அவரவர் தங்களுடைய புயபலத்திற்குத் தக்கதாக, உன்னில் இரத்தம் சிந்தினார்கள்.

7 Your people do not respect/honor their parents; they have oppressed foreigners; they mistreat orphans and widows.

௭உன்னிலுள்ள தாய் தகப்பனை அற்பமாக நினைத்தார்கள்; உன்னுடைய நடுவில் பரதேசிக்கு இடையூறு செய்தார்கள்; உனக்குள் திக்கற்றவனையும் விதவையையும் ஒடுக்கினார்கள்.

8 You despise my sacred places and (dishonor/do not respect) the Sabbath days.

௮நீ என்னுடைய பரிசுத்த பொருட்களை அசட்டைசெய்து, என்னுடைய ஓய்வு நாட்களை பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்கினாய்.

9 Among you are men who tell lies in order to cause others to be executed [MTY]. There are those who [food offered to idols] at the hilltop [shrines], and they perform disgusting sexual acts.

௯இரத்தம்சிந்தும்படி பொய் பேசுகிறவர்கள் உன்னிடத்தில் இருக்கிறார்கள்; மலைகளின்மேல் சாப்பிடுகிறவர்களும் உன்னிடத்தில் இருக்கிறார்கள்; முறைகேடு செய்கிறவர்கள் உன்னுடைய நடுவில் இருக்கிறார்கள்.

10 There are men who have sex with their father’s wives [EUP], and men who have sex with women during their monthly menstrual periods.

௧0தகப்பனை நிர்வாணமாக்கினவர்கள் உன்னில் இருக்கிறார்கள்; தீட்டுப்பட்ட பெண்ணை பலவந்தப்படுத்தினவர்கள் உன்னில் இருக்கிறார்கள்.

11 There are men who have sex with someone else’s wife. Some men have sex with their daughters-in-law or with their sisters or half-sisters.

௧௧உன்னில் ஒருவன் தன்னுடைய அயலானுடைய மனைவியுடன் அருவருப்பானதைச் செய்கிறான்; வேறொருவன் முறைகேடாகத் தன்னுடைய மருமகளைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்துகிறான்; வேறொருவன் தன்னுடைய தகப்பனுக்குப் பிறந்த தன்னுடைய சகோதரியைப் பலவந்தம்செய்கிறான்.

12 There are among you men who accept bribes in order to cause someone to be executed [MTY]. You charge high interest when you lend people money. You become rich by forcing people to give you money. [the worst thing is that] you have forgotten me, Yahweh the Lord.

௧௨இரத்தம்சிந்தும்படி லஞ்சம் வாங்கினவர்கள் உன்னில் இருக்கிறார்கள்; நீ வட்டியையும் அதிக வட்டியும் வாங்கி, பொருளாசையினால் உன்னுடைய அயலானுக்கு இடையூறு செய்து, என்னை மறந்துபோனாய் என்று யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

13 So I will shake my fists at you to show that I am angry with you because of your stealing money from people and murdering [MTY] people who live among you.

௧௩இதோ, நீ அநியாயமாகச் சம்பாதித்த பொருளினால், உன்னுடைய நடுவில் நீ சிந்தின இரத்தத்திற்காக நான் கைகொட்டுகிறேன்.

14 When I [punishing] you, you will no longer [RHQ] be courageous/brave [DOU]. I, Yahweh, have said [what I will do to you], and I will do it.

௧௪நான் உன்னில் நியாயம்செய்யும் நாட்களில் உன்னுடைய இருதயம் தாங்குமோ? அப்பொழுது உன்னுடைய கைகள் திடமாக இருக்குமோ? யெகோவாகிய நான் இதைச் சொன்னேன், இதை நிறைவேற்றுவேன்.

15 I will cause you to be scattered among many nations [DOU], and I will cause you to stop your sinful behavior.

௧௫நான் உன்னைப் அந்நியஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே சிதறடித்து, உன்னை தேசங்களிலே தூற்றி, உன்னுடைய அசுத்தத்தை உன்னில் ஒழியச்செய்வேன்.

16 When [the people of other] nations see that you have been humiliated, you will know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].’”

௧௬நீ அந்நியதேசங்களின் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகப் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக இருந்து, நான் யெகோவா என்று அறிந்துகொள்வாய் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

17 Yahweh [also] said to me,

௧௭யெகோவாவுடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:

18 “You human, your Israeli people [MTY] have [useless] to me. They are [like] [MET] dross/slag to me. They are like [SIM] [worthless] copper, tin, iron, and lead that remains after silver is melted in [very hot] furnace.

௧௮மனிதகுமாரனே, இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் எனக்கு பயனற்று போனார்கள்; அவர்களெல்லோரும் குகையிலுள்ள பித்தளையும் தகரமும் இரும்பும் ஈயமுமாக இருக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் வெள்ளியின் கழிவாகப் போனார்கள்.

19 Therefore, this is what [I], Yahweh the Lord, say: Because you have all become [like] dross/slag, I will gather you in Jerusalem.

௧௯ஆதலால், யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: நீங்களெல்லாரும் கழிவாகப் போனபடியினால், இதோ, நான் உங்களை எருசலேமுக்குள் சேர்ப்பேன்.

20 People [ore containing] silver, copper, iron, lead, and tin in a [very hot] furnace and melt them in a blazing [to burn up the impurities]. Similarly [SIM], I will gather you [inside Jerusalem], and because I am very angry with you, [what I will do will be as though] I am melting you.

௨0வெள்ளியையும், பித்தளையையும், இரும்பையும், ஈயத்தையும், தகரத்தையும் நெருப்பில் ஊதி உருக்குவதற்காகக் குகைக்குள் சேர்க்கிறதுபோல, நான் என்னுடைய கோபத்தினாலும் என்னுடைய கடுங்கோபத்தினாலும் உங்களைச் சேர்த்துவைத்து உருக்குவேன்.

21 [It will be as though] I will blow on you with a hot breath that shows that I am very angry, [it will be as though] you will be melted,

௨௧நான் உங்களைக் கூட்டி, என்னுடைய கோபமாகிய நெருப்பை உங்கள்மேல் ஊதுவேன்; அதற்குள்ளே நீங்கள் உருகுவீர்கள்.

22 as though you will be melted like [SIM] silver is melted in a furnace, and then you will know that I, Yahweh, have poured out my punishment [MTY] on you.”

௨௨குகைக்குள் வெள்ளி உருகுகிறதுபோல, நீங்கள் அதற்குள் உருகுவீர்கள்; அப்பொழுது யெகோவாகிய நான் என்னுடைய கடுங்கோபத்தை உங்கள்மேல் ஊற்றிவிட்டேன் என்று அறிந்து கொள்வீர்கள் என்றார்.

23 Yahweh gave me another message. He said,

௨௩யெகோவாவுடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:

24 “You human, say to the Israeli people, ‘[Yahweh] is angry with you, there has been no rain or showers in your country.’

௨௪மனிதகுமாரனே, நீ தேசத்தைப்பார்த்து: நீ சுத்தம் செய்யப்படாத தேசம், கோபத்தின் காலத்தில் மழை பெய்யாத தேசம் என்று அதற்குச் சொல்லு.

25 Your leaders are like [SIM] lions that tear apart the animals that they have killed. Your leaders destroy their people. They steal treasures and [other] valuable things from people, and they cause many women to become [by murdering their husbands].

௨௫அதிலுள்ள தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் அதின் நடுவில் கட்டுப்பாடு செய்கிறார்கள்; கெர்ச்சிக்கிற சிங்கம் இரை கவ்வுகிறதுபோல, ஆத்துமாக்களை அவர்கள் விழுங்குகிறார்கள்; செல்வத்தையும் விலையுயர்ந்த பொருள்களையும் வாங்கிக்கொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; அதின் நடுவில் அநேகரை விதவைகளாக்குகிறார்கள்.

26 Their priests disobey my laws and disrespect my sacred things by saying that there is no difference between things that are sacred and those that are not sacred, and by ignoring my laws about honoring the Sabbath days. As a result, they no [longer] honor me.

௨௬அதின் ஆசாரியர்கள் என்னுடைய வேதத்திற்கு அநியாயம்செய்து, என்னுடைய பரிசுத்த பொருட்களைப் பரிசுத்தக் குலைச்சலாக்குகிறார்கள்; பரிசுத்தம் உள்ளதற்கும் பரிசுத்தம் இல்லாததற்கும் வித்தியாசம் உண்டாக்காமலும், அசுத்தம் உள்ளதற்கும் அசுத்தம் இல்லாததற்கும் உண்டான வேற்றுமையைக் காண்பிக்காமலும் இருந்து, என்னுடைய ஓய்வுநாட்களுக்குத் தங்களுடைய கண்களை மூடிக்கொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் நடுவிலே நான் அவமதிக்கப்படுகிறேன்.

27 Their officials are like [SIM] wolves that tear apart the animals that they have killed: They murder people [DOU] in order to get their money.

௨௭அதின் நடுவில் இருக்கிற அதின் பிரபுக்கள் இரை கவ்வுகிற ஓநாய்களைப்போல் இருக்கிறார்கள்; அநியாயமாகப் பொருள் சம்பாதிக்கிறதற்கு இரத்தம் சிந்துகிறார்கள், ஆத்துமாக்களைக் கொள்ளையிடுகிறார்கள்.

28 Their prophets, by falsely saying they have received [from God], and by giving false messages, try to (cover up [MET]/say that it is all right to commit) those sins. They say, ‘This is what Yahweh the Lord says,’ when I have said nothing to them.

௨௮அதின் தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் பொய்யானதை பார்த்து, பொய்ச்சாஸ்திரத்தை அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லி, யெகோவா சொல்லாமலிருந்தும், யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொன்னாரென்று சொல்லி, அவர்களுக்குச் சாரமற்ற சாந்தைப் பூசுகிறார்கள்.

29 The Israeli people force others to give them money, and they rob people. They oppress poor [DOU] people, and they mistreat foreigners among them by not treating them [in the courts].

௨௯தேசத்தின் மக்கள் இடையூறு செய்து, கொள்ளையடித்து, சிறுமையும் எளிமையுமானவனை ஒடுக்கி, அந்நியனை அநியாயமாகத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறார்கள்.

30 I looked among them to find a man who would cause the people of the city to repent [MET] so that I would not need to get rid of them. But I did not find anyone.

௩0நான் தேசத்தை அழிக்காதபடிக்குத் திறப்பிலே நிற்கவும் சுவரை அடைக்கவும் தகுந்த ஒரு மனிதனைத் தேடினேன், ஒருவனையும் காணவில்லை.

31 So because I am very angry with them, I will severely punish them [MTY] for [all] the wicked things that they have done. [That will surely happen because I], Yahweh the Lord, have said it.”

௩௧ஆகையால், நான் அவர்கள்மேல் என்னுடைய கோபத்தை ஊற்றி, என்னுடைய கடுங்கோபத்தின் நெருப்பால் அவர்களை அழித்து, அவர்களுடைய வழியின் பலனை அவர்கள் தலையின்மேல் சுமத்துவேன் என்று யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்றார்.
