Ezekiel 21
1 Yahweh gave me another message. [He said, ]
१यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास पहुँचा
2 “You human, turn toward Jerusalem. Preach about what will happen to the temple [there]. Preach about what will happen to the Israeli people.
२“हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, अपना मुख यरूशलेम की ओर कर और पवित्रस्थानों की ओर वचन सुना; इस्राएल देश के विषय में भविष्यद्वाणी कर और उससे कह,
3 Say to them, ‘This is what Yahweh says: I am opposed to you.
३प्रभु यहोवा यह कहता है, देख, मैं तेरे विरुद्ध हूँ, और अपनी तलवार म्यान में से खींचकर तुझ में से धर्मी और अधर्मी दोनों को नाश करूँगा।
4 [what I will do to you will be as though] [MET] I will pull my sword from its sheath [and strike you]. I will kill everyone, including righteous people and wicked people [DOU]. I will get rid of everyone, from the south to the north.
४इसलिए कि मैं तुझ में से धर्मी और अधर्मी सब को नाश करनेवाला हूँ, इस कारण मेरी तलवार म्यान से निकलकर दक्षिण से उत्तर तक सब प्राणियों के विरुद्ध चलेगी;
5 Then everyone will know [it is as though] I, Yahweh, have struck people with my sword, and I will not put it back in its sheath again.’
५तब सब प्राणी जान लेंगे कि यहोवा ने म्यान में से अपनी तलवार खींची है; और वह उसमें फिर रखी न जाएगी।
6 Therefore, you human, groan! Groan in front of the Israeli people very sadly and sorrowfully [IDM, DOU].
६इसलिए हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, तू आह मार, भारी खेद कर, और टूटी कमर लेकर लोगों के सामने आह मार।
7 And when they ask you, ‘Why are you groaning?’ tell them, ‘Because of the news that they soon will hear. Everyone will be very fearful [IDM], and their knees will become as weak as [SIM] water. [A great disaster] will soon occur. That is what Yahweh the Lord is promising.’”
७जब वे तुझ से पूछें, ‘तू क्यों आह मारता है,’ तब कहना, ‘समाचार के कारण। क्योंकि ऐसी बात आनेवाली है कि सब के मन टूट जाएँगे और सब के हाथ ढीले पड़ेंगे, सब की आत्मा बेबस और सब के घुटने निर्बल हो जाएँगे। देखो, ऐसी ही बात आनेवाली है, और वह अवश्य पूरी होगी,’” परमेश्वर यहोवा की यही वाणी है।
8 Yahweh gave me another message. [He said],
८फिर यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास पहुँचा,
9 “You human, prophesy and say [to them], ‘This is what Yahweh says: I have sharpened my sword and polished it.
९“हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, भविष्यद्वाणी करके कह, परमेश्वर यहोवा यह कहता है, देख, सान चढ़ाई हुई तलवार, और झलकाई हुई तलवार!
10 It is sharpened in order that I can [many people with it]; it is polished so that it will flash like lightning. The people of Judah will not [their being punished like this], but they did not repent [I only struck them] with a stick.
१०वह इसलिए सान चढ़ाई गई कि उससे घात किया जाए, और इसलिए झलकाई गई कि बिजली के समान चमके! तो क्या हम हर्षित हो? वह तो यहोवा के पुत्र का राजदण्ड है और सब पेड़ों को तुच्छ जाननेवाला है।
11 A sword should be polished, and be grasped [in someone’s hand]. It should be sharpened and polished, ready for someone to use it to kill people.
११वह झलकाने को इसलिए दी गई कि हाथ में ली जाए; वह इसलिए सान चढ़ाई और झलकाई गई कि घात करनेवालों के हाथ में दी जाए।
12 [So, ] you human, cry and wail, because I will use my sword to kill my people, including the leaders of Israel. They and all the other people, my people, will be killed by swords, so beat your [to show that you are sad].
१२हे मनुष्य के सन्तान चिल्ला, और हाय, हाय, कर! क्योंकि वह मेरी प्रजा पर चलने वाली है, वह इस्राएल के सारे प्रधानों पर चलने वाली है; मेरी प्रजा के संग वे भी तलवार के वश में आ गए। इस कारण तू अपनी छाती पीट।
13 I am about to test my people, and the kings [MTY] of Judah will not escape being punished. That is what I, Yahweh the Lord, say.
१३क्योंकि सचमुच उसकी जाँच हुई है, और यदि उसे तुच्छ जाननेवाला राजदण्ड भी न रहे, तो क्या? परमेश्वर यहोवा की यही वाणी है।
14 So, you human, prophesy; clap your [to show that you are very happy about what is going to happen]. My sword will strike them again and again; it is a sword for slaughtering many people, while I attack them from every side.
१४“इसलिए हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, भविष्यद्वाणी कर, और हाथ पर हाथ दे मार, और तीन बार तलवार का बल दुगना किया जाए; वह तो घात करने की तलवार वरन् बड़े से बड़े के घात करने की तलवार है, जिससे कोठरियों में भी कोई नहीं बच सकता।
15 In order that people will be very much afraid [IDM] and many people will be killed, I have [soldiers holding] my swords at every [city] gate, ready to slaughter people. Those swords will flash like lightning, as the [soldiers] grasp them to slaughter people.
१५मैंने घात करनेवाली तलवार को उनके सब फाटकों के विरुद्ध इसलिए चलाया है कि लोगों के मन टूट जाएँ, और वे बहुत ठोकर खाएँ। हाय, हाय! वह तो बिजली के समान बनाई गई, और घात करने को सान चढ़ाई गई है।
16 Their swords [APO] will slash to the right and [then] to the left, whichever way they turn the blades.
१६सिकुड़कर दाहिनी ओर जा, फिर तैयार होकर बाईं ओर मुड़, जिधर भी तेरा मुख हो।
17 Then I will clap my [triumphantly]; and [then] I will no longer be angry. [That will surely happen because] I, Yahweh, have said it.’”
१७मैं भी ताली बजाऊँगा और अपनी जलजलाहट को ठंडा करूँगा, मुझ यहोवा ने ऐसा कहा है।”
18 Yahweh gave me another message. [He said, ]
१८फिर यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास पहुँचा:
19 “You human, [a map], and on it mark two roads for the King of Babylonia to march [along with his army, carrying] their swords. When they depart from their country, they will come to a sign post where the road divides.
१९“हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, दो मार्ग ठहरा ले कि बाबेल के राजा की तलवार आए; दोनों मार्ग एक ही देश से निकलें! फिर एक चिन्ह कर, अर्थात् नगर के मार्ग के सिर पर एक चिन्ह कर;
20 [If they continue on the one road, ] they will attack [city], the capital of the Ammon people-group. [If they continue on the other road, ] they will come to Judah and to Jerusalem, [a city] with walls around it.
२०एक मार्ग ठहरा कि तलवार अम्मोनियों के रब्बाह नगर पर, और यहूदा देश के गढ़वाले नगर यरूशलेम पर भी चले।
21 [When the army of] Babylonia comes to where the road divides, [they will stop], and the king will perform magic rituals [to decide which road to go on]. He will throw arrows; [then] consult his [about which road to go on], and he will (examine/look at) the [of a sheep].
२१क्योंकि बाबेल का राजा चौराहे अर्थात् दोनों मार्गों के निकलने के स्थान पर भावी बूझने को खड़ा हुआ है, उसने तीरों को हिला दिया, और गृहदेवताओं से प्रश्न किया, और कलेजे को भी देखा।
22 With his right hand he will pick up the arrow marked ‘Jerusalem’. He will [command his soldiers to go to Jerusalem. When they arrive there, they] will set up (rams/devices to [down the walls], ) and [then] the king will give the command for them to slaughter [the people]. They will shout [a battle-cry], and they will set up the rams against the [city] gates. They will build a dirt ramp [against the walls around the city], and set up things to bash those walls.
२२उसके दाहिनी हाथ में यरूशलेम का नाम है कि वह उसकी ओर युद्ध के यन्त्र लगाए, और गला फाड़कर घात करने की आज्ञा दे और ऊँचे शब्द से ललकारे, फाटकों की ओर युद्ध के यन्त्र लगाए और दमदमा बाँधे और कोट बनाए।
23 The [in Jerusalem] who had promised [to be loyal to the King of Babylonia will think that those rituals must be wrong. They will think that his army should not be attacking them]. But he will remind them of the sins [MTY] that they had committed, [his army] will capture them.
२३परन्तु लोग तो उस भावी कहने को मिथ्या समझेंगे; उन्होंने जो उनकी शपथ खाई है; इस कारण वह उनके अधर्म का स्मरण कराकर उन्हें पकड़ लेगा।
24 Therefore, [tell the Israeli people that] this is what Yahweh the Lord says: ‘You people have allowed everyone to see that you are openly [against the King of Babylonia], and by doing that you have shown that everything that you do is sinful. Therefore you will be captured and [to Babylonia].’
२४“इस कारण प्रभु यहोवा यह कहता है: इसलिए कि तुम्हारा अधर्म जो स्मरण किया गया है, और तुम्हारे अपराध जो खुल गए हैं, क्योंकि तुम्हारे सब कामों में पाप ही पाप दिखाई पड़ा है, और तुम स्मरण में आए हो, इसलिए तुम उन्हीं से पकड़े जाओगे।
25 Also, say, ‘You very wicked [DOU] king of Israel, it is your [to die]. It is the time for you to be punished.’
२५हे इस्राएल दुष्ट प्रधान, तेरा दिन आ गया है; अधर्म के अन्त का समय पहुँच गया है।
26 And this is what Yahweh the Lord says [to you soldiers from Babylonia]: ‘Take off [the king’s] turban and his crown, because now things will be different than they were [before]. [in Jerusalem] who had no authority will now be given authority, and those who had authority will have their authority taken from them.
२६तेरे विषय में परमेश्वर यहोवा यह कहता है: पगड़ी उतार, और मुकुट भी उतार दे; वह ज्यों का त्यों नहीं रहने का; जो नीचा है उसे ऊँचा कर और जो ऊँचा है उसे नीचा कर।
27 [Jerusalem] will be completely ruined. I will cause it to be ruined, and it will not be rebuilt/restored until the king to whom the city truly belongs comes; I will give it to [to rule it].’”
२७मैं इसको उलट दूँगा और उलट-पुलट कर दूँगा; हाँ उलट दूँगा और जब तक उसका अधिकारी न आए तब तक वह उलटा हुआ रहेगा; तब मैं उसे दे दूँगा।
28 “And, you human, prophesy and say [this]: 'This is what Yahweh the Lord says about the Ammon people-group, and about what they have said to insult [Israel]: [“The King of Babylon says, ] ‘[My soldiers have] swords’ [APO]; they have pulled out those swords to slaughter many people. They have polished them in order to kill people, and to make those swords flash like lightning.
२८“फिर हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, भविष्यद्वाणी करके कह कि प्रभु यहोवा अम्मोनियों और उनकी की हुई नामधराई के विषय में यह कहता है; तू कह, खींची हुई तलवार है, वह तलवार घात के लिये झलकाई हुई है कि नाश करे और बिजली के समान हो
29 [Your prophets] have given you false visions about [what will happen to] you, and they have given you messages that are not true. So swords will strike the necks of those wicked people; it is time for them to be killed; it is the day when they will be [for their sins].
२९जब तक कि वे तेरे विषय में झूठे दर्शन पाते, और झूठे भावी तुझको बताते हैं कि तू उन दुष्ट असाध्य घायलों की गर्दनों पर पड़े जिनका दिन आ गया, और जिनके अधर्म के अन्त का समय आ पहुँचा है।
30 You must put your swords back in their sheaths [because the days for you to slaughter your enemies are ended]. I will judge those people in the country where they were born.
३०उसको म्यान में फिर रख। जिस स्थान में तू सिरजी गई और जिस देश में तेरी उत्पत्ति हुई, उसी में मैं तेरा न्याय करूँगा।
31 I will pour out my punishment [MTY] on them. Because I am very angry with them, my breath on them will scorch them [like] fire [MET]. I will allow brutal men to capture them, men who are experts in killing people.
३१मैं तुझ पर अपना क्रोध भड़काऊँगा और तुझ पर अपनी जलजलाहट की आग फूँक दूँगा; और तुझे पशु सरीखे मनुष्य के हाथ कर दूँगा जो नाश करने में निपुण हैं।
32 You will be [like] fuel [MET] [that is burned] in a fire. Your blood will be shed in your own land. No one will remember you any more. [That will surely happen because] I, Yahweh, have said it.” '”
३२तू आग का कौर होगी; तेरा खून देश में बना रहेगा; तू स्मरण में न रहेगी क्योंकि मुझ यहोवा ही ने ऐसा कहा है।”
