Ezekiel 12
1 Yahweh gave me another message. [He said, ]
Et la parole de l'Éternel me fut adressée en ces mots:
2 “You human, you are living among people who are [very] rebellious. They have eyes, but they do not [what I want them to see]; they have ears, but they do not [what I want them to hear], because they are rebellious/stubborn people.
Fils de l'homme, tu résides au milieu d'une race rebelle, qui a des yeux pour voir, mais ne voit pas, des oreilles pour entendre, mais n'entend pas, car c'est une race rebelle.
3 Therefore, you human, pack your belongings as though you were (going into exile/being forced to go to another country). Then, during the daytime, while people are watching, [prepare to] go to another place. Even though the people are rebellious, perhaps they will [what you are symbolizing].
Mais toi, fils de l'homme, fais-toi un attirail d'émigrant, et émigre de jour sous leurs yeux, et émigre du lieu où tu es, en un autre lieu, sous leurs yeux. Peut-être verront-ils qu'ils sont une race rebelle.
4 During the daytime, while they are watching, bring out the things that you want to take and pack them. Then in the evening, while they are watching, do what those who are preparing to go into exile do.
Et tu feras partir ton attirail, comme un attirail d'émigrant, de jour sous leurs yeux, et toi, tu partiras le soir sous leurs yeux, comme on part pour émigrer.
5 Dig through [city] wall and take your things through the hole.
Sous leurs yeux fais une brèche au mur de ta maison, et fais sortir ton attirail parla.
6 Then put [in a sack] on your shoulder while they are watching and leave at dusk. Cover your face in order that you cannot see the path. [I want you to do this] because I want you to warn the Israeli people.”
Sous leurs yeux mets-le sur ton épaule, emporte-le de nuit, tu te voileras le visage pour ne pas voir le pays; car je t'ai mis comme signe prophétique devant la maison d'Israël.
7 [So] I did what Yahweh told me to do. During the day I brought things out of my [as though] I was packing to go into exile. Then in the evening I dug through [city] wall. [Then] while people watched, I put my sack of belongings on my shoulder and left.
Et j'exécutai l'ordre que j'avais reçu. Je fis sortir mon attirail comme un attirail d'émigrant, de jour; et le soir je fis une brèche au mur de ma maison avec la main, et le fis sortir de nuit, le prenant sur l'épaule sous leurs yeux.
8 The next morning, Yahweh gave me this message:
Et le matin, la parole de l'Éternel me fut adressée en ces mots:
9 “You human, the rebellious people [MTY] of Israel asked you, ‘What are you doing?’
Fils de l'homme, la maison d'Israël, cette race rebelle, ne t'a-t-elle pas dit: Que fais-tu?
10 [So go back and] say to them, ‘What I did is about the king in Jerusalem and all the [other] people of Israel who are there.’
Dis-leur: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: C'est le prince qui est à Jérusalem que désigne cette prophétie, ainsi que toute la maison d'Israël qui s'y trouve.
11 Tell [them], ‘[What I did] is a warning to you.’ What has happened to you will happen to them. They will be captured and forced to go to another country.
Dis: Je suis votre signe prophétique. La chose que j'ai faite, est celle qui leur arrivera: ils émigreront et iront en captivité.
12 Their king will put his belongings on his shoulder at dusk and leave. [His servants] will dig a hole through the city wall, [and he will take his belongings] through it. He will cover his face in order [others will not recognize] him.
Et le prince qui est parmi eux portera sur son épaule un fardeau, de nuit, et partira; à la muraille on fera une brèche pour l'y faire passer; il se voilera le visage pour ne pas voir de ses yeux le pays.
13 [it will be as though] I will spread a net for [to be captured]; [enemy soldiers will] capture him and take him to [city]. But he will [be able to] see it; and there he will die.
Et j'étendrai mon réseau sur lui, afin qu'il se prenne dans mon filet, et je l'amènerai à Babel, au pays des Chaldéens, mais il ne le verra pas et il y mourra.
14 I will scatter in all directions [IDM] all those who have been around him—his advisors and his soldiers—and I will cause his enemies to pursue them, with their swords ready to strike them.
Et tous ceux qui l'entourent, ses auxiliaires, et tous ses bataillons, je les disséminerai à tous les vents, et tirerai l'épée derrière eux.
15 Then, when I scatter them among many nations [DOU], they will know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].
Alors ils reconnaîtront que je suis l'Éternel, quand je les aurai dispersés parmi les nations, et disséminés dans les pays divers.
16 But I will spare/save a few of them from being killed by swords and from dying from famines or plagues, with the result that in the nations to which they are forced to go, they will realize/admit that they have been doing disgusting things, and they will know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].”
Cependant j'en laisserai un petit nombre survivre à l'épée, à la famine et à la peste, afin qu'ils racontent toutes leurs abominations aux nations chez lesquelles ils viendront, et qu'ils reconnaissent que je suis l'Éternel.
17 Then Yahweh gave me another message. [He said, ]
Et la parole de l'Éternel me fut adressée en ces mots:
18 “You human, tremble while you eat your food, and shudder fearfully while you drink your water.
Fils de l'homme, mange ton pain dans le trouble, et bois ton eau dans l'anxiété et les alarmes!
19 Tell [this to] the Israeli people: 'This is what Yahweh the Lord says about those who are [still] living in Jerusalem and [other places in] Israel: They also will be very anxious/worried [DOU] while they eat their food and drink their water, because their country will [soon] have everything taken away. That will happen because the people who live there [continually] act [very] violently.
Et dis au peuple du pays: Ainsi prononce le Seigneur, l'Éternel, sur les habitants de Jérusalem dans le pays d'Israël: Ils mangeront leur pain dans les alarmes, et boiront leur eau dans la stupeur, parce que leur pays sera désolé, dépouillé de tout ce qui y est, à cause de l'injustice de tous ceux qui l'habitent;
20 The towns where people live will be devastated, and the land will become barren/empty. Then you people will know that it is I, Yahweh, [who have the power to do what I say that I will do].'”
et les villes peuplées deviendront désertes, et le pays sera désolé, afin que vous sachiez que je suis l'Éternel.
21 Yahweh gave me another message. [He said, ]
Et la parole de l'Éternel me fut adressée en ces mots:
22 “You human, the people in Israel have this proverb/saying: ‘The days pass, and [the prophets] predict never happens.’
Fils de l'homme, qu'est-ce que ces discours moqueurs dans le pays d'Israël? vous dites: Les jours se prolongent, et toutes les visions sont perdues.
23 So say to them, ‘This is what Yahweh the Lord says: I am going to prove that (what they say/that proverb) is not correct, and then they will never say that again in Israel.’ Tell them, ‘It will soon be the time when everything that the prophets have predicted will happen.
Pour cela dis-leur: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Je ferai cesser ces discours moqueurs, et on ne les tiendra plus en Israël. Dis-leur au contraire: Le temps approche, et toutes les visions s'accompliront.
24 No longer [false prophets tell] to the Israeli people false visions, or prophecies that try to please people.
Car désormais il n'y aura plus de visions vaines, ni d'oracles trompeurs dans la maison d'Israël;
25 Instead, I, Yahweh, will say what I want to tell the people, and what I predict will quickly happen. You rebellious people, I will cause to happen everything that I say will happen. [That is what I, ] Yahweh the Lord, say.’”
car je suis l'Éternel; je parle, et ce que je dis s'exécutera, sans plus long délai: oui, c'est durant vos jours, race rebelle, que je parle et que j'exécuterai ma parole, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.
26 Yahweh also gave me this message:
Et la parole de l'Éternel me fut adressée en ces mots:
27 “You human, the Israeli people are [constantly] saying [about you], ‘The things that he sees in [will not happen soon]. They are [things that will happen] many years from now, far in the future.’
Fils de l'homme, voici, les hommes d'Israël disent: La vision qu'il a, est à long terme, et c'est pour des temps éloignés qu'il prophétise.
28 Therefore say to them, ‘This is what Yahweh the Lord [DOU] says: I will no longer [causing to happen] any of the things that I have prophesied. Whatever I have predicted [very soon] happen.’”
C'est pourquoi dis-leur: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Tout ce que j'ai prononcé, ne sera plus ajourné, et mes paroles seront exécutées, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.
