Ezekiel 11
1 [Then God’s] Spirit lifted me up and took me to the gate on the east side of the temple area. There at the gate were 25 men. Among them I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azzur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, who were leaders of the people.
Unya gibayaw ako sa Espiritu ug gidala ngadto sa sidlakang bahin sa ganghaan sa balay ni Yahweh, nga nag-atubang sa sidlakan, ug tan-awa, diha sa pultahan sa ganghaan adunay 25 ka kalalakin-an. Taliwala kanila, akong nakita si Jaazania nga anak nga lalaki ni Azur ug si Pelatia nga anak nga lalaki ni Benaya.
2 Yahweh said to me, “You human, these are the [new leaders in Jerusalem] who are planning to do evil things and who are giving wicked advice [to people] in this city.
Miingon ang Dios kanako, “Anak sa tawo, mao kini ang mga kalalakin-an nga nagbuhat ug sala ug ang mga naglaraw ug daotan niini nga siyudad.
3 They say, ‘[Everything will go well for us, so] it will surely soon be [RHQ] time to build houses. [We are like] [MET] fine/choice pieces of meat that are carefully stored in covered pots, and we are protected [from the bad things that will happen to others].’
Nagaingon sila, 'Dili pa karon ang panahon sa pagtukod ug mga balay; kini nga siyudad mao ang kulon, ug kita ang karne.'
4 So, you human, prophesy [the terrible things that will happen to] them.”
Busa pagpanagna batok kanila. Pagpanagna, anak sa tawo.”
5 Then the Spirit of Yahweh came upon me and told me to [to the people], “This is what Yahweh says: You Israeli people [MTY] are saying those things, but I know what you are thinking.
Unya mikunsad ang Espiritu ni Yahweh kanako ug miingon, “Isulti: Mao kini ang giingon ni Yahweh: sama sa inyong ginaingon, panimalay sa Israel; tungod kay nasayod ako kung unsa ang inyong gihunahuna.
6 You have killed many people in this city and filled the streets with their corpses.
Gipadaghan ninyo ang mga tawo nga inyong gipamatay niini nga siyudad ug gipuno ang kadalanan niini.
7 Therefore this is what Yahweh the Lord says: The corpses of the people whom you have killed here are [like] the meat [MET], and this city is [like] the pot [MET], but I will expel you from this city.
Busa, miingon si Yahweh nga Ginoo niini: Ang mga tawo nga inyong gipamatay, kansang mga lawas inyong gipabuy-od taliwala sa Jerusalem, mao ang karne, ug kini nga siyudad mao ang kulon. Apan pagawason kamo gikan sa taliwala niini nga siyudad.
8 You are afraid [being killed by enemies’] swords, and that is what I will cause to happen to you.
Gikahadlokan ninyo ang espada, busa ipadala ko ang espada diha kaninyo—mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh nga Ginoo.
9 I will expel you from this city and enable foreigners to capture you and punish you.
Pagawason ko kamo gikan sa taliwala niini nga siyudad, ug itugyan kamo ngadto sa mga kamot sa mga langyaw, tungod kay pagahukman ko kamo.
10 They will kill [EUP] you with their swords; you will be punished [right here] in Israel. Then people will realize that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].
Mangahagba kamo pinaagi sa espada. Pagahukman ko kamo sulod sa mga utlanan sa Israel aron nga mahibaloan ninyo nga ako si Yahweh.
11 This city will not be [a place were you will be protected like] [MET] meat in a covered pot. I will punish you wherever you are in Israel.
Dili ninyo mahimong kulon nga lutoanan kini nga siyudad, ni mahimo kamong karne sa iyang taliwala. Pagahukman ko kamo sulod sa mga utlanan sa Israel.
12 And you will know that I, Yahweh, [have predicted that would happen], because you have not obeyed my commands and decrees; instead, you have imitated [wicked] behavior [of the people] of the nearby nations.”
Unya mahibaloan ninyo nga ako si Yahweh, kansang mga balaod wala ninyo lakwi ug kansang mga kasugoan wala ninyo tumana. Gituman hinuon ninyo ang mga kasugoan sa ubang mga nasod nga nagpalibot kaninyo.”
13 While I was prophesying that, Pelatiah the son of Benaiah [suddenly] died. Then I prostrated myself on the ground and cried out loudly, “Yahweh my Lord, are you going [similarly] get rid of all the Israeli people who are still alive?”
Nahitabo nga samtang nagapanagna ako, namatay ang anak nga lalaki ni Benaya nga si Pelatia. Busa mihapa ako ug midanguyngoy ug miingon, “Pagkaalaot, Yahweh nga Ginoo, pagalaglagon mo ba gayod sa hingpit ang mga nahibilin sa Israel?”
14 Then Yahweh gave me this message:
Miabot kanako ang pulong ni Yahweh nga nag-ingon,
15 “You human, the people who are still in Jerusalem are talking about you and your own relatives and about all the other people who were (exiled/forced to go to other countries), saying, ‘They [in Babylonia], far from Yahweh. They have left their [here in Israel, so] their property now belongs to us!’”
“Anak sa tawo, ang imong mga kaigsoonan! Ang imong mga kaigsoonan! Ang mga kalalakin-an sa imong banay ug ang tanang panimalay sa Israel! Silang tanan nga ginaingon niadtong mga namuyo sa Jerusalem, 'Halayo sila gikan kang Yahweh! Gihatag na kini nga yuta kanato ingon nga atong panag-iyahan.'
16 So tell [them], “This is what Yahweh the Lord says: Although I caused them to be taken far [from Israel] and scattered them among other nations, for a short time I will (be like a refuge for/protect) them in the countries to which they have been taken.”
Busa isulti, 'Miingon si Yahweh nga Ginoo niini: Bisan pa ug gipahilayo ko sila sa mga nasod, ug bisan pa ug gipatibulaag ko sila sa mga kayutaan, sa gihapon ako ang nahimo nilang dalangpanan sa mubo nga panahon diha sa mga yuta diin sila miabot.'
17 So also tell them, “This is what Yahweh the Lord says: [Some day] I will gather you from the [to which you have been taken] and bring you back to Israel, and you will live in your country/land [again].
Busa isulti, 'Mao kini ang giingon ni Yahweh nga Ginoo: Pagatapokon ko kamo gikan sa mga katawhan ug tigomon kamo gikan sa mga kayutaan diin kamo nagkatibulaag, ug ihatag ko kaninyo ang yuta sa Israel.'
18 When you return to your country, you will get rid of all the vile statues of gods and detestable idols.
Unya mangadto sila didto ug kuhaon ang tanang dulumtanang butang ug ang tanang kadaotan gikan niana nga dapit.
19 I will put a new way of thinking [IDM] within you. I will cause you to no longer be stubborn [IDM], and I will enable you to obey me completely [IDM].
Hatagan ko sila ug usa ka kasingkasing, ug bag-o nga espiritu. Kuhaon ko ang ilang kasingkasing nga sama sa bato gikan sa ilang unod ug hatagan ko sila ug malumo nga kasingkasing,
20 When I do that, you will carefully obey all my laws [DOU]. You will be my people, and I will be your God.
aron nga maglakaw sila sa akong mga balaod, ug tumanon nila ang akong mga kasugoan ug buhaton kini. Unya mahimo sila nga akong katawhan, ug ako ang mahimo nilang Dios.
21 But as for those who are devoted [worshiping] their vile statues and detestable idols, I will punish them as they deserve for the evil things that they have done.’”
Apan kadtong naglakaw uban sa paghigugma sa ilang dulumtanan nga mga butang ug sa ilang mga kadaotan, ipasumbalik ko kanila ang ilang binuhatan—mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh nga Ginoo.”
22 Then the winged creatures, with their wheels beside them, spread their [and flew up into the air], and the dazzling brightness of Yahweh was above them.
Gibukhad sa mga kerubin ang ilang mga pako ug ang mga ligid nga anaa sa ilang tapad, ug anaa sa ilang ibabaw ang himaya sa Dios sa Israel.
23 That light went up away from the city and stopped above the mountain to the east of the city.
Unya mikayab ang himaya ni Yahweh gikan sa taliwala sa siyudad ug mitungtong sa bukid ngadto sa sidlakan nga bahin sa siyudad.
24 In the vision [that I had been seeing, God’s] Spirit lifted me up and brought me [back] to the (exiles in/people who had been forced to go to) Babylonia. Then the vision ended,
Gibayaw ako sa Espiritu ug gidala ngadto sa Caldea, ngadto sa mga binihag, diha sa panan-awon nga gikan sa Espiritu sa Dios, ug mikayab ibabaw kanako ang panan-awon nga akong nakita.
25 and I told the exiles everything that Yahweh had shown [in the vision].
Unya akong gipahayag ngadto sa mga binihag ang tanang mga butang nga akong nakita gikan kang Yahweh.
