< Ezekiel 10 >
1 Then [in the vision] I saw what resembled a throne made of (sapphire/[a very valuable] blue stone). It was above the thing that resembled a dome that was above the heads of the four winged creatures.
Mo sì wò ó, mo rí ohun kan tó dàbí òkúta safire nínú òfúrufú tó wà lókè orí kérúbù, ìrísí ohun yìí sì dàbí ìtẹ́.
2 Yahweh said to the man wearing the linen robe, “Go between the wheels that are under the winged creatures. Pick up as many hot coals as you can, and scatter them over the city.” And while I watched, the man wearing the linen robe left.
Olúwa sì sọ fún ọkùnrin tó wọ aṣọ funfun pé, “Lọ sí àárín àwọn kẹ̀kẹ́ tó wà lábẹ́ kérúbù. Bu ẹyin iná tó kúnwọ́ rẹ láàrín kérúbù, kí o sì fọ́n sórí ìlú náà.” Ó sì lọ lójú mi.
3 The four winged creatures were standing on the south side of the temple when the man wearing the linen robe entered. Then a cloud filled the inner courtyard [of the temple area].
Àwọn kérúbù dúró sí apá gúúsù tẹmpili nígbà tí ọkùnrin náà wọlé, ìkùùkuu sì bo inú àgbàlá.
4 And the (glory/dazzling light) of Yahweh rose up from above the winged creatures and went to the entrance of the temple. The cloud filled the temple, and the courtyard was full of the (glory/dazzling light) of Yahweh.
Ògo Olúwa sì kúrò lórí àwọn kérúbù, ó bọ́ sí ibi ìloro tẹmpili. Ìkùùkuu sì bo inú tẹmpili, àgbàlá sì kún fún ìmọ́lẹ̀ àti ògo Olúwa.
5 The sound made by the wings of the winged creatures could be heard as far away as the courtyard outside the temple. It [very loud], like [SIM] the voice of Almighty God when he speaks.
A sì gbọ́ ariwo ìyẹ́ àwọn kérúbù yìí títí dé àgbàlá tó wà ní ìta gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìgbà tí Ọlọ́run Olódùmarè bá ń sọ̀rọ̀.
6 When Yahweh commanded the man wearing the linen robe to take burning coals from among those winged creatures, the man went [the courtyard] and stood beside one of the wheels.
Nígbà tí Olúwa pàṣẹ fún ọkùnrin aláṣọ funfun yìí pé, “Mú iná láàrín àwọn kẹ̀kẹ́, láàrín àwọn kérúbù,” ó sì lọ dúró ṣẹ́gbẹ̀ẹ́ àwọn kẹ̀kẹ́ náà.
7 Then one of those winged creatures reached out his hand to the fire that was there among them. He picked up some of the coals and put them in the hands of the man wearing the linen robe, and that man took them and left.
Ọ̀kan nínú àwọn kérúbù sì nawọ́ sí ibi iná tó wà láàrín kérúbù yòókù. Ó mú lára rẹ, ó fi sínú ọwọ́ ọkùnrin aláṣọ funfun, òun náà gbà á, ó sì jáde lọ.
8 Under the wings of the winged creatures was something that resembled a human’s hands.
(Ohun tó dàbí ọwọ́ ènìyàn wà lábẹ́ ìyẹ́ àwọn kérúbù yìí.)
9 Then [in the vision] I saw four wheels alongside the winged creatures. There was one wheel beside each of the winged creatures. The wheels shone like [SIM] very valuable stones.
Nígbà tí mo sì wò, kíyèsí i, àwọn kẹ̀kẹ́ mẹ́rin wà lẹ́gbẹ̀ẹ́ àwọn kérúbù yìí, kẹ̀kẹ́ kọ̀ọ̀kan wà lẹ́gbẹ̀ẹ́ kérúbù kọ̀ọ̀kan; ìrí àwọn kẹ̀kẹ́ yìí ń tàn yanran bí àwọ̀ òkúta berili.
10 The wheels were all alike: Each had one wheel inside another wheel.
Ní ti ìrísí wọn, gbogbo wọn jọra wọn; ọ̀kọ̀ọ̀kan rí bí ìgbà tí kẹ̀kẹ́ kan wà nínú kẹ̀kẹ́ mìíràn.
11 Whenever they moved, they went straight in whatever direction one of the winged creatures faced. The wheels did not turn in another direction while the winged creatures flew.
Nígbà tí wọ́n ń lọ, wọ́n tẹ̀lé ọ̀kan nínú ọ̀nà mẹ́rin tí àwọn kérúbù dojúkọ; àwọn kẹ̀kẹ́ náà kò yípadà bí àwọn kérúbù ti ń lọ. Àwọn kérúbù ń lọ sí ibi tí orí dojúkọ láì yà.
12 Their bodies, including their backs and hands and wings, were covered with eyes. The wheels were also covered with eyes.
Gbogbo ara wọn àti ẹ̀yìn, ọwọ́ wọn àti ìyẹ́ wọn, àti àwọn kẹ̀kẹ́ kún fún ojú yíkákiri kẹ̀kẹ́, tí àwọn mẹ́rẹ̀ẹ̀rin ní.
13 I heard someone call them ‘the whirling wheels’.
Mo gbọ́ tí wọ́n pe àwọn kẹ̀kẹ́ yìí ni “kẹ̀kẹ́ àjà.”
14 Each of the winged creatures had four faces. One face was like the face of a bull, one face was like the face of a human, one face was like the face of a lion, and one face was like the face of an eagle.
Ọ̀kọ̀ọ̀kan àwọn kérúbù yìí ni ojú mẹ́rin: ojú èkínní jẹ́ ojú kérúbù, ojú kejì jẹ́ ti ènìyàn, ojú kẹta jẹ́ ti kìnnìún nígbà tí ojú kẹrin jẹ́ ti ẹyẹ idì.
15 Then the winged creatures rose up. They were the same living creatures that I had seen alongside the Kebar River/Canal.
A gbé àwọn kérúbù sókè. Èyí ni àwọn ẹ̀dá alààyè tí mo rí létí odò Kebari.
16 When the winged creatures moved, the wheels moved with them. When the winged creatures spread their wings to fly over the ground, the wheels did not leave them.
Bí àwọn kérúbù yìí bá ń lọ àwọn kẹ̀kẹ́ ẹgbẹ́ wọn náà yóò lọ; bẹ́ẹ̀ ni bí àwọn kérúbù bá tú ìyẹ́ wọn ká láti dìde nílẹ̀, àwọn kẹ̀kẹ́ yìí kò ní kúrò lẹ́gbẹ̀ẹ́ wọn.
17 When the winged creatures stopped, the wheels stopped. When the winged creatures started to fly, the wheels flew with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
Bí àwọn kérúbù bá dúró díẹ̀ àwọn kẹ̀kẹ́ náà yóò dúró jẹ́ẹ́; bí àwọn kérúbù bá dìde àwọn kẹ̀kẹ́ náà yóò dìde, nítorí pé ẹ̀mí àwọn ẹ̀dá alààyè yìí wà nínú wọn.
18 Then the (glory/dazzling light) left the entrance of the temple and stopped above the winged creatures.
Ògo Olúwa kúrò níbi ìloro tẹmpili, ó sì dúró sórí àwọn kérúbù.
19 While I watched, the winged creatures spread their wings and started to fly, and the wheels went with them. They stopped at the gate on the east side of the temple area, and the (glory/dazzling light) of God, the one whom the [had worshiped], was above them.
Àwọn kérúbù gbé ìyẹ́ wọn sókè, wọ́n sì fò kúrò nílẹ̀ lójú mi, wọ́n sì lọ pẹ̀lú kẹ̀kẹ́ wọn lẹ́ẹ̀kan náà. Wọ́n dúró níbi ìlẹ̀kùn ẹnu-ọ̀nà ìlà-oòrùn ilé Olúwa, ògo Ọlọ́run Israẹli sì wà lórí wọn.
20 Those were the [same] four living creatures that I had seen alongside the Kebar River/Canal, and I realized that they were the winged creatures.
Àwọn wọ̀nyí ni ẹ̀dá alààyè tí mo rí lábẹ́ Ọlọ́run Israẹli létí odò Kebari, mo sì mọ̀ pé kérúbù ni wọ́n.
21 Each of them had four faces and four wings, and under their wings was what resembled a human’s hands.
Ọ̀kọ̀ọ̀kan wọn ní ojú mẹ́rin àti ìyẹ́ mẹ́rin, lábẹ́ ìyẹ́ wọn ni ohun tó jọ ọwọ́ ènìyàn wà.
22 Their faces were the same as the faces that I had seen at the Kebar River/Canal. Each of them flew straight ahead.
Àfiwé ojú àti ìrísí wọn rí bákan náà pẹ̀lú àwọn tí mo rí létí odò Kebari. Olúkúlùkù wọn sì ń lọ sí ọ̀kánkán tààrà.
