Ezekiel 10
1 Then [in the vision] I saw what resembled a throne made of (sapphire/[a very valuable] blue stone). It was above the thing that resembled a dome that was above the heads of the four winged creatures.
Atunci am privit și, iată, în întinderea care era deasupra capului heruvimilor s-a arătat deasupra lor ca o piatră de safir, ca înfățișarea asemănării unui tron.
2 Yahweh said to the man wearing the linen robe, “Go between the wheels that are under the winged creatures. Pick up as many hot coals as you can, and scatter them over the city.” And while I watched, the man wearing the linen robe left.
Și el a vorbit bărbatului îmbrăcat în in și a spus: Intră între roți, sub heruvim și umple-ți mâinile cu cărbuni de foc dintre heruvimi și împrăștie-i peste cetate. Și a intrat înaintea ochilor mei.
3 The four winged creatures were standing on the south side of the temple when the man wearing the linen robe entered. Then a cloud filled the inner courtyard [of the temple area].
Și heruvimii stăteau pe partea dreaptă a casei, când omul a intrat; și norul umplea curtea interioară.
4 And the (glory/dazzling light) of Yahweh rose up from above the winged creatures and went to the entrance of the temple. The cloud filled the temple, and the courtyard was full of the (glory/dazzling light) of Yahweh.
Atunci gloria DOMNULUI s-a ridicat de la heruvim [și a stat] peste pragul casei; și casa s-a umplut cu acel nor și curtea a fost plină de strălucirea gloriei DOMNULUI.
5 The sound made by the wings of the winged creatures could be heard as far away as the courtyard outside the temple. It [very loud], like [SIM] the voice of Almighty God when he speaks.
Și zgomotul aripilor heruvimilor era auzit până în curtea din afară, precum vocea Atotputernicului Dumnezeu când vorbește.
6 When Yahweh commanded the man wearing the linen robe to take burning coals from among those winged creatures, the man went [the courtyard] and stood beside one of the wheels.
Și s-a întâmplat, atunci când el a poruncit bărbatului îmbrăcat în in, spunând: Ia foc dintre roți, dintre heruvimi; [că] el a intrat și a stat în picioare lângă roți.
7 Then one of those winged creatures reached out his hand to the fire that was there among them. He picked up some of the coals and put them in the hands of the man wearing the linen robe, and that man took them and left.
Și [un] heruvim și-a întins mâna dintre heruvimi spre focul care [era] între heruvimi; și a luat [din cărbuni] și [l]-a pus în mâinile [celui care era] îmbrăcat în in; care [l]-a luat și a ieșit.
8 Under the wings of the winged creatures was something that resembled a human’s hands.
Și s-a arătat forma unei mâini de om, la heruvimi, sub aripile lor.
9 Then [in the vision] I saw four wheels alongside the winged creatures. There was one wheel beside each of the winged creatures. The wheels shone like [SIM] very valuable stones.
Și când am privit, iată, cele patru roți lângă heruvimi, o roată lângă un heruvim și o altă roată lângă un alt heruvim; și înfățișarea roților [era] precum culoarea pietrei de beril.
10 The wheels were all alike: Each had one wheel inside another wheel.
Și [cât despre] înfățișarea lor, acestea patru aveau o singură asemănare, ca și când era o roată în roată.
11 Whenever they moved, they went straight in whatever direction one of the winged creatures faced. The wheels did not turn in another direction while the winged creatures flew.
Când mergeau, mergeau pe cele patru laturi ale lor; nu se întorceau când mergeau, ci ori încotro privea capul ele urmau; nu se întorceau când mergeau.
12 Their bodies, including their backs and hands and wings, were covered with eyes. The wheels were also covered with eyes.
Și tot trupul lor și spatele lor și mâinile lor și aripile lor și roțile, [erau] pline de ochi de jur împrejur, [la] roțile pe care acești patru le aveau.
13 I heard someone call them ‘the whirling wheels’.
Cât despre roți, li s-a strigat în auzul meu: Roată!
14 Each of the winged creatures had four faces. One face was like the face of a bull, one face was like the face of a human, one face was like the face of a lion, and one face was like the face of an eagle.
Și fiecare avea patru fețe: fața întâi [era] fața unui heruvim și a doua față [era] fața unui om și a treia fața unui leu și a patra fața unei acvile.
15 Then the winged creatures rose up. They were the same living creatures that I had seen alongside the Kebar River/Canal.
Și heruvimii s-au ridicat. Aceasta [este] făptura vie pe care o văzusem lângă râul Chebar.
16 When the winged creatures moved, the wheels moved with them. When the winged creatures spread their wings to fly over the ground, the wheels did not leave them.
Și când heruvimii mergeau, roțile mergeau lângă ei; și când heruvimii își ridicau aripile ca să se înalțe de pe pământ, roțile de asemenea nu se întorceau de lângă ei.
17 When the winged creatures stopped, the wheels stopped. When the winged creatures started to fly, the wheels flew with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
Când ei stăteau, stăteau [și acestea]; și când se ridicau, se ridicau [și acestea], pentru că duhul făpturii vii [era] în acestea.
18 Then the (glory/dazzling light) left the entrance of the temple and stopped above the winged creatures.
Atunci gloria DOMNULUI s-a depărtat de deasupra pragului casei și a stat peste heruvimi.
19 While I watched, the winged creatures spread their wings and started to fly, and the wheels went with them. They stopped at the gate on the east side of the temple area, and the (glory/dazzling light) of God, the one whom the [had worshiped], was above them.
Și heruvimii și-au ridicat aripile și s-au înălțat de pe pământ înaintea ochilor mei; când au ieșit, roțile de asemenea [erau] lângă ei și [fiecare] a stat la ușa din poarta de est a casei DOMNULUI; și gloria Dumnezeului lui Israel [era] peste ei, deasupra.
20 Those were the [same] four living creatures that I had seen alongside the Kebar River/Canal, and I realized that they were the winged creatures.
Aceasta [este] făptura vie pe care o văzusem sub Dumnezeul lui Israel lângă râul Chebar; și am știut că ei [erau] heruvimii.
21 Each of them had four faces and four wings, and under their wings was what resembled a human’s hands.
Fiecare avea patru fețe și fiecare patru aripi; și asemănarea unor mâini de om [era] sub aripile lor.
22 Their faces were the same as the faces that I had seen at the Kebar River/Canal. Each of them flew straight ahead.
Și [cât despre] asemănarea fețelor lor, ele [erau] aceleași fețe pe care le văzusem lângă râul Chebar, înfățișarea lor și ei înșiși, [tot același erau]; mergeau fiecare drept înainte.
