Exodus 39
1 Bezalel, Oholiab, and the other skilled workmen made the beautiful clothes for Aaron to wear while he did his work as a priest in the Holy Place. They made them from blue, purple, and red cloth, just as Yahweh had commanded Moses/me.
Av purpuret og skarlaket og karmesinet gjorde dei embætsskrud til tenesta i heilagdomen og laga den heilage klædbunaden åt Aron, soleis som Herren hadde sagt Moses fyre.
2 They made the sacred apron from fine white linen and from blue, purple, and red cloth.
Messehakelen gjorde dei av gull og purpur og skarlak og karmesin og kvitt tvinna lingarn.
3 They hammered some thin sheets of gold and cut them into thin strips which they embroidered into the fine linen and into the blue, purple, and red cloth.
Dei hamra gullet ut i plator og klypte det upp til tråd, so det kunde virkast inn i purpuret og skarlaket og karmesinet og det kvite lingarnet med kunstvevnad.
4 The apron had two shoulder straps, to join the front part to the back part at the shoulders.
So gjorde dei aksleband til å festa innåt messehakelen; med deim vart han hekta i hop på båe endarne.
5 A carefully-woven sash, which was made from the same materials as the sacred apron, was [sewn] onto the sacred apron. This was made exactly as Yahweh had commanded Moses/me.
Livgjordi som var på messehakelen og skulde spennast um honom, var like eins vovi og av same tyet - av gull og purpur og skarlak og karmesin og kvitt tvinna lingarn - soleis som Herren hadde sagt Moses fyre.
6 They cut two valuable onyx stones and enclosed them in a tiny gold frame, and a skilled gem-cutter engraved on the stones the names of the twelve sons of Jacob.
So ferda dei til sjohamsteinarne, og felte deim inn i fatingar av tvinna gull. Namni åt Israels-sønerne var inngravne på deim som på ein seglring,
7 They fastened the stones to the shoulder straps of the sacred apron, to represent the twelve Israeli tribes, exactly as Yahweh had commanded Moses/me.
og dei vart sette på akslebandi åt messehakelen til minna um Israels-sønerne, soleis som Herren hadde sagt Moses fyre.
8 They made the sacred chest pouch. They made it of the same materials as the sacred apron and embroidered it in the same way.
So gjorde dei bringeduken. Han var vænt rosa liksom messehakelen, med gull og purpur og skarlak og karmesin og kvitt tvinna lingarn.
9 It was square, and the material was folded double, so that it was (9 in./22 cm.) long and (9 in./22 cm.) wide.
Firkanta gjorde dei bringeduken og tvilagd; ei spann på lengdi og ei spann på breiddi var han, og tvilagd.
10 They fastened four rows of valuable stones onto the pouch. In the first row, they put a [red] ruby, a [yellow] topaz, and a [red] garnet.
Og fire rader med dyre steinar sette dei på honom: I ei rad var ein karneol og ein topas og ein smaragd; det var den fyrste radi.
11 In the second row, they put a [green] emerald, a [blue] sapphire, and a [clear/white] diamond.
I den andre radi var ein rubin og ein safir og ein beryll,
12 In the third row they put a [red] jacinth, a [white] agate, and a [purple] amethyst.
og i den tridje radi ein hyacint og ein agat og ein ametyst,
13 In the fourth row, they put a [yellow] beryl, a [red] carnelian, and a [green] jasper. They set each of the stones in tiny gold frames.
og i den fjorde radi ein krysolit og ein sjoham og ein jaspis. Dei vart innfelte i fatingar av tvinna gull.
14 On each of the twelve stones they engraved the name of one of the sons of Jacob, to represent one of the twelve Israeli tribes.
Steinarne var so mange som Israels-sønerne, tolv, so dei svara til talet deira, og på kvar stein var namnet åt ei av dei tolv ætterne inngrave som på ein seglring.
15 They made two [chains] from pure gold and braided them like cords, to [attach] the sacred pouch [to the sacred apron].
So laga dei lekkjor av skirt gull, slyngde som snorer, til bringeduken.
16 They made two gold rings, and they attached them to the upper corners of the sacred pouch.
Og dei gjorde tvo gullsylgjor og tvo gullringar, og sette ringarne i kvar sitt hyrna på bringeduken.
17 They fastened one end of each cord to one of the rings.
Dei tvo gullsnorerne feste dei i dei tvo ringarne som sat i hyrno på bringeduken,
18 They fastened the other end of each cord to the two (settings/tiny frames) [that enclosed the stones]. Then they attached the sacred pouch to the shoulder straps of the sacred apron.
og dei hine tvo endarne av båe snorerne feste dei i dei tvo sylgjorne, og sylgjorne sette dei på akslebandi åt messehakelen, på framsida.
19 Then they made two more gold rings and attached them to the lower corners of the sacred pouch, on the inside edges, next to the sacred apron.
So gjorde dei tvo andre gullringar og sette i dei hine tvo hyrno på bringeduken, på den sida som vender inn imot messehakelen.
20 They made two more gold rings and attached them to the lower part of the front of the shoulder straps, near to where [the shoulder straps] were joined [to the sacred apron], just above the carefully-woven sash/waistband.
Og endå tvo gullringar gjorde dei og sette på båe akslebandi åt messehakelen, nedantil på framsida, der som han var hekta i hop, ovanfor livgjordi,
21 They tied the rings on the sacred pouch to the rings on the sacred apron with a blue cord, so that the sacred pouch was above the sash/waistband and would not come loose from the sacred apron.
og so batt dei med ei purpursnor ringarne på bringeduken i hop med ringarne på messehakelen, so bringeduken sat ovanfor livgjordi og ikkje kunde rikkast frå messehakelen, soleis som Herren hadde sagt Moses fyre.
22 They made the robe that is to be worn underneath the priest’s sacred apron, using only blue [cloth].
So gjorde dei prestekjolen, som var til å bera under messehakelen; han var voven og all igjenom av purpur.
23 It had an opening through which [the priest] would put his head. They sewed a border around this opening, to prevent the material from tearing.
Midt på honom var det eit halssmog som på ei brynja, og kringum halssmoget ei borda, so han ikkje skulde rivna.
24 At the lower edge on the robe, they fastened [decorations that resembled] pomegranate fruit. The decorations were [woven from] blue, purple, and red yarn/thread.
I falden på kjolen sette dei duskar, på gjerd som granateple, av tvinna purpurgarn og skarlak og karmesin,
25 Between each of these decorations, they fastened a tiny bell made from pure gold, so there was a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, alternating all around the hem of the robe
so gjorde dei bjøllor av skirt gull og sette rundt ikring på kjolefalden, millom duskarne:
26 for [Aaron to wear while] he did his work as a priest. They made all these things exactly as Yahweh had commanded Moses/me.
fyrst ei bjølla og ein dusk, so ei bjølla og ein dusk att, og soleis rundt heile kjolefalden, til å bruka ved gudstenesta, soleis som Herren hadde sagt Moses fyre.
27 They wove long-sleeved tunics/gowns from fine white linen, for Aaron and his sons.
So gjorde dei vovne underkjolar av fint lin til Aron og sønerne hans,
28 They also made a turban of fine linen [for Aaron to wear around his head]. They made the caps and the undershorts [for Aaron’s sons] from fine linen.
og ei kvit linhuva, og prydelege hovudplagg av kvitt lin, og lereftsbrøker av kvitt tvinna lingarn,
29 They made the embroidered sash/waistband [for Aaron] from fine linen and from blue, purple, and red cloth, and they embroidered designs on it using blue, purple, and red yarn/thread, exactly as Yahweh had commanded Moses/me.
og ei livgjord med rosor av kvitt tvinna lingarn og purpur og skarlak og karmesin, soleis som Herren hadde sagt Moses fyre.
30 They also made the tiny ornament of pure gold and had a skilled workman engrave on it the words, ‘Dedicated to Yahweh’.
So gjorde dei gullspongi, det heilage hovudgullet, og på den grov dei inn, som i ein seglring: «Vigd åt Herren, »
31 They fastened this to the front of the turban by a blue cord, just as Yahweh had commanded Moses/me.
og dei sette ei purpursnor i henne, og feste henne ovantil på huva, soleis som Herren hadde sagt Moses fyre.
32 Finally they finished all the work to make the Sacred Tent. They brought to Moses/me all the things that they had made. They had made them exactly as Yahweh had commanded me.
No var det ferdigt alt det som skulde arbeidast åt møtetjeldhuset, og Israels-folket hadde i eitt og alt gjort det soleis som Herren hadde sagt Moses fyre.
33 They brought to him/me the Sacred Tent and all the things that were used with it: the hooks, the frames, the crossbars, the posts and their bases,
So kom dei då til Moses med huset: tjeldet med alt det som høyrde til det: krokarne og plankarne og tverrstokkarne og stolparne og stabbarne
34 the coverings for the Sacred Tent that were made of tanned/dyed rams’ skins and goatskins, the curtains,
og det raudlita verskinnstaket og markuskinns-taket og forhengtæpet,
35 the sacred chest that contained the stone slabs [on which the commandments were written], the poles, the lid for the chest,
lovtavlekista med berestengerne og loket,
36 the table with all the things that were used with it, the sacred bread [that was offered] to God,
bordet med alle dei ting som høyrde til det, og skodebrødi,
37 the lampstand made of pure gold and all its lamps and all the things that were to be used to take care of it, the oil for the lamps,
gull-ljosestaken med lamporne som var sette i rad og alt anna som høyrde til,
38 the golden altar [for burning incense], the oil for anointing, the sweet-smelling incense, the curtain for the entrance to the Sacred Tent,
gullaltaret og salvingsoljen og den angande røykjelsen og tæpet til tjelddøri,
39 the bronze altar [for burning sacrifices] and its bronze grating, the poles [for carrying] it, and all the other things that were used with it, the washbasin and its base,
koparaltaret med kopargrindi og berestengerne og alt anna som høyrde attåt, balja og foten ho skulde standa på,
40 the curtains [that surrounded] the courtyard, the posts and bases that supported them, the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard and its ropes, the tent pegs, and all the other things that would be used in the Sacred Tent,
lereftsgarden til tunet med stolparne og stabbarne som høyrde til og tæpet til tunporten og togi og pålarne og alt det som skulde brukast til den heilage tenesta i gudshuset, i møtetjeldet,
41 the beautiful sacred clothes for Aaron to wear when he did his work in the Holy Place, and the special clothes for his sons to wear as they did their work as priests.
embætsskrudet til tenesta i heilagdomen, den heilage klædebunaden til Aron, presten, og messeklædi til sønerne hans.
42 The Israeli people had done all this work exactly as Yahweh had commanded Moses/me.
Som Herren hadde sagt Moses fyre, heiltupp soleis hadde Israels-folket gjort alt arbeidet.
43 Then Moses/I saw all the work that they had done. Truly, they had done everything exactly as Yahweh had commanded [that it should be done]. Then Moses/I [asked God to] bless them.
Og Moses skoda heile verket, og då han såg at det var ferdigt, og at dei i alle måtar hadde gjort det soleis som Herren hadde sagt, so velsigna han deim.
