Exodus 37
1 Then Bezalel made the [sacred] chest from acacia wood. It was (45 in./110 cm.) long, (27 in./66 cm.) wide, and (27 in./66 cm.) high.
Bezaliʼeel muka laaftoo irraa taabota tolche; taabonni sunis dhundhuma lamaa fi walakkaa dheerata; dhundhuma tokkoo fi walakkaa balʼata; dhundhuma tokkoo fi walakkaa ol dheerata ture.
2 He covered it with pure gold inside and outside the chest, and he made a gold border around the top of it.
Innis keessaa fi duuba isaatti warqee qulqulluu uffise; naannoo isaattis marsaa faaya warqee naannessee tolche.
3 He made/cast four rings from gold [and fastened them] to the legs of the chest. He put two rings on each side of the chest.
Qubeelaa warqee afur tolcheefii miilla isaa afranitti qabsiise; qubeelaa lama gama tokkoon, qubeelaa kaan immoo gama kaaniin itti kaaʼe.
4 He made [two] poles from acacia wood, and covered them with gold.
Ergasiis muka laaftoo irraa danqaraawwan tolchee warqee itti uffise.
5 He put the poles into the rings on the sides of the chest, in order that the chest could be carried [by means of the poles].
Innis taabota sana ittiin baachuudhaaf danqaraawwan sana qubeelaawwan keessa loose.
6 He made a lid for the chest. That was [the place where Yahweh would] forgive people’s sins. It [also] was (45 in./110 cm.) long and (27 in./66 cm.) wide.
Innis warqee qulqulluu irraa teessoo araaraa tolche; teessoon sunis dheerina dhundhuma lamaa fi walakkaa fi balʼina dhundhuma tokkoo fi walakkaa qaba ture.
7 He made two winged creatures from hammered gold.
Moggaa lamaan teessoo araaraa irratti warqee tumame irraa Kiirubeelii lama tolche.
8 One of these was put at each end of the chest. The gold [with which they were made] was joined to the gold from which the lid [was made].
Innis Kiirubii tokko moggaa tokko irratti, Kiirubii lammaffaa moggaa kaan irratti tolche; kiirubeelii lamaan sana moggaa teessoo araaraa lamaan irratti teessoo araaraa wajjin mukuma tokko irraa tolche.
9 [He placed] the winged creatures facing each other so that their wings touched each other and spread out over the lid.
Kiirubeeliin sun qoochoo isaanii ol balʼifatanii teessoo araaraa sanatti gaaddiseessu turan. Kiirubeeliin kunneen fuula isaanii walitti garagalfatanii gara teessoo araaraa ilaalu turan.
10 Bezalel made a table from acacia wood. It was (36 in./88 cm.) long, (18 in./44 cm.) wide, and (27 in./66 cm.) high.
Isaanis muka laaftoo irraa minjaala dalga dheerinni isaa dhundhuma lama, balʼinni isaa dhundhuma tokko, ol dheerinni isaa dhundhuma tokkoo fi walakkaa tolchan.
11 He covered it with pure gold, and he put a gold border around it.
Isaanis warqee qulqulluu itti uffisanii naannoo isaatti marsaa warqee tolchan.
12 He made a rim all around it, (3 in./7 cm.) wide. He put a gold border around the rim.
Naannoo isaa irrattis hidhii hamma balʼina harkaa gaʼuu fi faaya warqee tolchan.
13 He made/cast four rings from gold and fastened the rings to the four corners of the table, one ring close to each leg [of the table].
Isaanis qubeelaa warqee afur minjaala sanaaf hojjetanii iddoo miilli afran turetti goleewwan afranitti qabsiisan.
14 The rings were fastened to the table near the rim.
Qubeelaawwan sunis akka danqaraa minjaalli sun ittiin baatamu qabaniif xiyyoo sanatti dhiʼeeffamanii kaaʼaman.
15 He made two poles from acacia wood and covered them with gold. These poles for carrying the table were then inserted into the rings.
Danqaraawwan minjaalli ittiin baatamu sun muka laaftoo irraa hojjetamanii warqeen itti uffifamee ture.
16 He also made from pure gold all the things to be put on the table. He made the plates, the cups, and the jars and bowls to be used [when the priests] poured out wine [as an offering to Yahweh].
Miʼoota minjaala sana irra kaaʼaman jechuunis caabiiwwan isaa, waciitiiwwan isaa, waciitiiwwan isaatii fi okkoteewwan isaa kanneen ittiin dhibaayyuu dhibaafatan warqee qulqulluu irraa tolchan.
17 [He] made the lampstand from pure gold. Its base and its shaft were hammered from [one large lump of] gold. [The branches of the lampstand], the cups for holding the oil, the flower buds and the petals [that decorated the branches of the lamp, the base, and the shaft were all hammered from] one [big] lump of gold.
Baattuu ibsaa, somaa isaatii fi damee isaa wajjin warqee qulqulluu irraa tumanii tolchan; waciitii isaa, hudhaa isaatii fi daraaraa isaa illee warqeedhuma tokko irraa tolchan.
18 There were six branches on the lampstand, three on each side [of the shaft].
Bitaa mirga baattuu ibsaa sana keessaas dameewwan jaʼa jechuunis sadii gama tokkoon sadii immoo gama kaaniin baafaman.
19 Each of the branches had on it three [gold decorations that looked like] almond blossoms. These decorations also had flower buds and [flower] petals.
Xoofoowwan lawuzii fakkaatan kanneen tokkoon tokkoon isaanii hudhaa fi daraaraa qaban sadii damee tokko irratti, waciitiiwwan lawuzii fakkaatan kanneen tokkoon tokkoon isaanii hudhaa fi daraaraa qaban sadii immoo damee kaan irratti tolchan. Dameewwan jaʼaan baattuu ibsaa irraa babbaʼan hunda irrattis akkasuma tolchan.
20 On the [shaft of the] lampstand there were four [gold decorations that also looked like] almond blossoms, each one with flower buds and [flower] petals.
Xoofoowwan hudhaa fi daraaraa qaban kanneen bifa lawuziitiin tolfaman afur baattuu ibsaa sana irra turan.
21 On each side, beneath and extending from each of the branches, there was one [flower] bud.
Hudhaan tokko cimdii jalqabaa kan dameewwan baattuu ibsaa irraa babbaʼan jala, hudhaan lammaffaan cimdii lammaffaa jala, hudhaan sadaffaan immoo cimdii sadaffaa jala ture; walumaa galatti dameewwan jaʼatu ture.
22 All these [flower] buds and branches, along with the shaft, were hammered from one large lump of pure gold.
Hudhaawwanii fi dameewwan hundinuu baattuu ibsaa sana wajjin warqeedhuma qulqulluu tumame tokko irraa tolfaman.
23 Bezalel also made seven small cups [for holding oil. He put one cup on top of the shaft and he put the others on top of the branches]. He made from pure gold the tongs [for removing the burned wicks] and the trays [in which to put the burned wicks].
Ibsaa torban sana, waan ittiin daaraa isaa dhadhaʼanii fi baattuu daaraa sana baattu illee warqee qulqulluu irraa tolchan.
24 He used (75 pounds/35 kg.) of pure gold to make the lampstand and all the things that were used to take care of it.
Baattuu ibsaatii fi miʼa isaa hunda warqee qulqulluu taalaantii tokko irraa tolchan.
25 From acacia wood, Bezalel made the altar [for burning] incense. It was square, (18 in./45 cm.) on each side. It was (3 ft./90 cm.) high. He made [a projection that looked like] a horn on each of the top corners. The projections were carved from the same block of wood that the altar was made of.
Isaanis muka laaftoo irraa iddoo aarsaa ixaanaa tolchan; iddoon aarsaa kunis dalga dheerina dhundhuma tokko, balʼina dhundhuma tokkoo fi ol dheerina dhundhuma lamaa qabaatee gama afraniinuu wal qixxee ture. Gaanfawwan isaas iddoo aarsaa sanaan walumatti hojjetaman.
26 He covered the top and the four sides, including the projections, with pure gold. He put a gold border around the altar, [near the top].
Isaanis gubbaa isaa irra, cinaacha isaa hundumaa fi gaanfawwan isaatti warqee qulqulluu uffisanii naannoo isaatti marsaa warqee naannessanii tolchan.
27 He made two gold rings for carrying the altar. Then he attached them to the altar below the border, one on each side of the altar. The poles by means of which the altar was to be carried were to be inserted into those rings.
Iddoo aarsaa sanaafis marsaawwan warqee isaatii gaditti qubeelaawwan warqee lama tolchan; qubeelaawwan kanas akka isaan danqaraawwan ittiin iddoo aarsaa baatan qabataniif gamaa gamanaan cinaacha lamaanitti tolchan.
28 He made those [two] poles from acacia wood and covered them with gold.
Isaanis danqaraawwan muka laaftoo tolchanii warqee itti uffisan.
29 He also made the sacred oil for anointing and the pure sweet-smelling incense. He mixed the incense together as a skilled perfumer would.
Akkasumas akkuma ogeessa urgooftuu qopheessu tokkootti zayitii ittiin diban qulqulluu fi ixaana urgaaʼaa makaa hin qabne tolchan.
