< Exodus 35 >

1 Moses/I gathered all the Israeli people together and said to them, “This is what Yahweh has commanded you to do:
Then Moses assembled all the Congregation of the children of Israel, and sayd vnto them, These are the wordes which the Lord hath commanded, that ye should do them:
2 [Each week] you may work for six days, but on the seventh day you must rest. It is a sacred day, dedicated to Yahweh. Anyone who does any work on the seventh day must be executed.
Six dayes thou shalt work, but the seuenth day shall bee vnto you the holy Sabbath of rest vnto the Lord: whosoeuer doth any worke therein, shall die.
3 Do not [even] light a fire in your homes on days of rest.”
Ye shall kindle no fire throughout all your habitations vpon the Sabbath day.
4 Moses/I also said to all the Israeli people, “This is [also] what Yahweh has commanded:
Againe, Moses spake vnto all the Congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the Lord commandeth, saying,
5 Make offerings to Yahweh. Everyone who wants to should bring to Yahweh an offering. [These are the things that they may offer]: Gold, silver, bronze,
Take from among you an offering vnto the Lord: whosoeuer is of a willing heart, let him bring this offring to the Lord, namely golde, and siluer, and brasse:
6 fine white linen, blue or purple or red cloth, [cloth made from] goats’ hair,
Also blewe silke, and purple, and skarlet, and fine linen, and goates heare,
7 rams’ skins that are (tanned/dyed red), fine leather made from goatskins, wood from acacia [trees],
And rams skins died red, and badgers skins with Shittim wood:
8 oil for the lamps, spices to put in the olive oil for anointing and in the sweet-smelling incense,
Also oyle for light, and spices for the anointing oyle, and for the sweete incense,
9 [valuable] onyx stones or [other] valuable stones to fasten onto the [priest’s] sacred apron and put on his sacred chest pouch.
And onix stones, and stones to be set in the Ephod, and in the brest plate.
10 “All the skilled workers among you should come and make all the things that Yahweh has commanded:
And all the wise hearted among you, shall come and make all that the Lord hath commanded:
11 The Sacred Tent and its covering, its fasteners and its frames, its crossbars, its posts, its bases,
That is, the Tabernacle, that pauilion thereof, and his couering, and his taches and his boards, his barres, his pillars and his sockets,
12 the sacred chest with its poles and its lid, the curtain that will separate the Holy Place from the Very Holy Place,
The Arke, and the barres thereof ye Merci-seate, and the vaile that couereth it,
13 the table with the poles [for carrying it] and all the things that will be used with the table, the sacred bread that will be offered to God,
The Table, and the barres of it, and all the instruments thereof, and the shewe bread:
14 the lampstand for the lamps with all the things that will be used to take care of them, the oil for the lamps,
Also the Candlesticke of light and his instruments, and his lampes with the oyle for the light:
15 the altar for [burning] incense, and the poles [for carrying that altar], the oil for anointing and the sweet-smelling incense, the curtain for the entrance of the Sacred Tent,
Likewise the Altar of perfume and his barres, and the anoynting oyle, and the sweete incense, and the vaile of the doore at the entring in of the Tabernacle,
16 the altar for offering [sacrifices that will be completely] burned and its bronze grating, the poles [for carrying] that altar and all the things that will be used with it, the washbasin and its base,
The Altar of burnt offering with his brasen grate, his barres and all his instruments, the Lauer and his foote,
17 the curtains [to surround] the courtyard and the posts and bases [for the posts from which to hang the curtains], the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard,
The hangings of the court, his pillars and his sockets, and the vaile of the gate of the court,
18 the pegs and ropes for the Sacred Tent and for the courtyard,
The pinnes of the Tabernacle, and the pinnes of the court with their cordes,
19 and the beautiful clothes that Aaron and his sons are to wear when they do their work in the Holy Place.”
The ministring garments to minister in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the Priest, and the garmentes of his sonnes, that they may minister in the Priests office.
20 Then all the Israeli people returned [to their tents].
Then all the Congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.
21 Everyone who wanted to brought an offering to Yahweh. They brought some of the things that would be used to make the Sacred Tent and all the other items that would be used in the rituals, and the materials to make the sacred clothes [for the priests].
And euery one, whose heart encouraged him, and euery one, whose spirit made him willing, came and brought an offring to the Lord, for the worke of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and for all his vses, and for the holy garments.
22 All the men and women who wanted to brought gold ornaments, earrings, rings, necklaces, and many other kinds of things made of gold, and they dedicated them to Yahweh.
Both men and women, as many as were free hearted, came and brought taches and earings, and rings, and bracelets, all were iewels of golde: and euery one that offered an offring of gold vnto the Lord:
23 And many [HYP] people who had blue, purple, or red cloth or fine white linen or cloth made from goats’ hair or rams’ skins that were (tanned/dyed red) or leather made from goatskins brought some of these things.
Euery man also, which had blewe silke, and purple, and skarlet, and fine linen, and goates heare, and rammes skinnes died red, and badgers skins, brought them.
24 All those who had silver or bronze brought them as offerings to Yahweh. All those who had some acacia wood that could be used for any of the work brought it.
All that offered an oblation of siluer and of brasse, brought the offring vnto the Lord: and euery one, that had Shittim wood for any maner worke of the ministration, brought it.
25 All the women who were skilled to make cloth brought fine linen thread and blue, purple, or red yarn/thread that they had made/spun.
And all the women that were wise hearted, did spin with their hands, and brought ye spun worke, euen the blewe silke, and the purple, the skarlet, and the fine linen.
26 And all the women who wanted to made/spun thread from goats’ hair.
Likewise al the women, whose hearts were moued with knowledge, spun goates heare.
27 All the leaders brought valuable onyx stones and other valuable stones to be fastened to Aaron’s sacred apron and his sacred chest pouch.
And ye rulers brought onix stones, and stones to be set in the Ephod, and in the brest plate:
28 They also brought spices [to put in the sweet-smelling incense], and they brought olive oil for the lamps and for the oil for anointing and for putting in the sweet-smelling incense.
Also spice, and oyle for light, and for the anoynting oyle, and for the sweete perfume.
29 All the Israeli men and women who wanted to brought these things to offer them to Yahweh, for doing the work that he had commanded Moses/me to do.
Euery man and woman of the children of Israel, whose hearts moued the willingly to bring for all the worke which the Lord had commanded the to make by the hand of Moses, brought a free offring to the Lord.
30 Moses/I said to the Israeli people, “Listen carefully. Yahweh has chosen Bezalel, the son of Uri and grandson of Hur, from the tribe of Judah.
Then Moses sayde vnto the children of Israel, Beholde, the Lord hath called by name Bezaleel the sonne of Vri, the sonne of Hur of the tribe of Iudah,
31 Yahweh has enabled his Spirit to completely control Bezalel and has given him ability and enabled him to know how to do very skilled work.
And hath filled him with an excellent spirit of wisdome, of vnderstanding, and of knowledge, and in all maner worke,
32 He can engrave skillful designs in gold, silver, and bronze.
To finde out curious workes, to worke in golde, and in siluer, and in brasse,
33 He can cut (jewels/valuable stones) and enclose them [in tiny gold frames]. He can carve things from wood and do other skilled work.
And in grauing stones to set them, and in karuing of wood, euen to make any maner of fine worke.
34 Yahweh has also given to him and to Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, from the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach their skills to others.
And he hath put in his heart that hee may teach other: both hee, and Aholiab the sonne of Ahisamach of the tribe of Dan:
35 He has given to them the ability to do all kinds of work that is done by craftsmen—those who create artistic things, those who make fine white linen, those who embroider designs using blue or purple or red yarn/thread, and those who make other cloth. They are able to do many [HYP] kinds of skillful work.
Them hath he filled with wisdome of heart to worke all maner of cunning and broidred, and needle worke: in blewe silke, and in purple, in skarlet, and in fine linnen and weauing, euen to do all maner of worke and subtill inuentions.
