Exodus 28
1 “Summon your [older] brother Aaron and his sons—Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. ([Set them apart/They are the ones whom I have chosen]) from [the rest of] the Israeli people, in order that they can serve me [by being] priests.
Ipatawag si Aaron nga imong igsoon ug ang iyang mga anak nga lalaki nga si Nadab, si Abihu, si Eleazar ug si Itamar gikan sa mga Israelita aron mag-alagad sila kanako ingon nga mga pari.
2 [Tell the people to] make beautiful clothes for Aaron, clothes that are [suitable for one who] has this dignified and sacred [work].
Kinahanglan himoan nimo si Aaron, nga imong igsoon, ug bisti nga gilain alang kanako. Kini nga mga bisti alang sa iyang dungog ug himaya.
3 Talk to all the skilled workmen, those to whom I have given special ability. [Tell them] to make clothes for Aaron, for him to wear when he is (set apart/dedicated) [to become] a priest to serve me.
Kinahanglan makigsulti ka sa tanang tawo nga mga maalamon, kadtong akong gipuno sa espiritu sa kaalam, aron makatahi sila ug mga bisti alang kang Aaron aron ilain siya alang kanako sa pag-alagad kanako ingon nga akong pari.
4 These are the clothes that they are to make: A sacred pouch for Aaron to wear over his chest, a sacred apron, a robe, an embroidered tunic/gown, a (turban/cloth to wrap around his head), and a sash/waistband. These are the clothes that your [older] brother Aaron and his sons must wear as they serve me [by doing the work that] priests do.
Ang himoon nila nga mga bisti mao ang tabon sa dughan, ang efod, ang kupo, ang pangsapaw nga binurdahan, ang purong ug ang bakos. Kinahanglan tahion nila kini nga mga bisti nga linain alang kanako. Alang kini sa imong igsoon nga si Aaron ug sa iyang mga anak nga lalaki aron moalagad sila kanako ingon nga mga pari.
5 The skilled workmen must use fine linen and blue, purple, and red yarn/thread to make these clothes.”
Ang mga tigburda kinahanglan mogamit ug pinong lino nga dalag, asul, tapul, ug pula.
6 “The skilled workmen must make the sacred apron from fine linen, and skillfully embroider it with blue, purple, and red yarn/thread.
Kinahanglan himoon nila ang efod sa dalag, asul, tapul, ug pula ngalinubid, ug sa pinong lino nga linubid usab. Himoon gayod kini sa hanas nga tigburda.
7 It must have two shoulder straps, to join the front part to the back part.
Kinahanglan aduna kini duha ka bahin sa abaga nga mosumpay sa duha ka tumoy niini.
8 A carefully-woven sash, which must be made from the same materials as the sacred apron, must be [sewn] onto the sacred apron.
Ang maayong pagkalubid nga bakos kinahanglan sama sa bakos nga unay gihapon sa efod, nga hinimo sa linubid nga pinong lino nga dalag, asul, tapul, ug pula.
9 [A skilled workman] must take two [expensive] onyx stones and engrave on them the names of the twelve sons of Jacob.
Pagkuha ug duha ka bato nga onix ug ikulit ang mga ngalan sa napulo ug duha ka mga anak ni Israel.
10 He must engrave the names in the order in which Jacob’s sons were born. He must engrave six names on one stone, and the other six names on the other stone.
Kinahanglan isulat ninyo ang unom ka ngalan sa usa ka bato ug ang laing unom ka ngalan isulat sa ikaduhang bato, subay sa ilang adlaw nga natawhan.
11 A gem-cutter should engrave these names on the stones. Then he should enclose the stones in (settings/tiny gold frames).
Pinaagi sa paghimo sa tigkulit sa bato nga sama sa pagkulit sa usa ka singsing nga silyo, kinahanglan ikulit ninyo diha sa duha ka bato ang mga ngalan sa napulo ug duha ka mga anak nga lalaki ni Israel. Ipatapot kining mga batoha sa pilitanan nga bulawan.
12 Then he should fasten the stones onto the shoulder straps [of the sacred apron], to represent the twelve Israeli tribes. In that way, Aaron will carry the names of the tribes on his shoulders in order that [I], Yahweh, will never forget [my people] (OR, in order that [he will always] remember that [those tribes belong to] Yahweh).
Kinahanglan ibutang ninyo ang duha ka bato diha sa abagahan sa efod, aron kini nga mga bato magpahinumdom kang Yahweh sa mga anak nga lalaki ni Israel. Dad-on ni Aaron diha sa iyang abaga ang ilang ngalan sa atubangan ni Yahweh ingon nga pagpahinumdom kaniya.
13 The settings for the stones must be made from gold.
Kinahanglan himoon ninyo ang pilitanan gamit ang bulawan
14 [Tell them to] make two tiny chains that are braided like cords, and fasten the chains to the settings.”
ug duha ka kadena nga lunsayng bulawan nga sama sa higot, ug ipakabit ang mga kadena sa pilitanan.
15 “[Tell the skilled workman to] make a sacred pouch for Aaron to wear over his chest. [He will use the things he puts into the pouch] to determine [my answers to the questions he asks]. It must be made of the same materials as the sacred apron, and embroidered in the same way.
Kinahanglan himoon ninyo ang tabon sa dughan alang sa pagpakisayod, ang trabaho sa hanas nga tigburda, nga gitahi sama sa efod. Himoa kini gamit ang linubid nga dalag, asul, tapul ug pula, ug pinong lino.
16 It is to be square, and the material must be folded double, so that it is (9 in./22 cm.) on each side.
Kinahanglan kwadrado kini ug piloa sa makaduha ang tabon sa dughan. Kinahanglan usa ka span ang gitas-on ug usa ka span ang gilapdon.
17 [The skilled workman must] fasten four rows of valuable stones onto the pouch. In the first row he must put a [red] ruby, a [yellow] topaz, and a [red] garnet.
Kinahanglan ibutang ninyo dinhi ang upat ka laray sa bililhong mga bato. Ang unang laray kinahanglan mao ang rubi, ang topas, ug ang garnet.
18 In the second row he must put a [green] emerald, a [blue] sapphire, and a [clear/white] diamond.
Ang ikaduhang laray kinahanglan mao ang esmeralda, ang safiro, ug ang diamante.
19 In the third row he must put a [red] jacinth, a [white] agate, and a [purple] amethyst.
Ang ikatulo nga laray kinahanglan mao ang hasinto, ang agata, ug ang ametis.
20 In the fourth row he must put a [yellow] beryl, a [red] carnelian, and a [green] jasper.
Ang ikaupat nga laray kinahanglan mao ang berilo, ang onix, ug ang haspe. Kinahanglan ipatapot kini sa pilitanan nga bulawan.
21 A gem-cutter should engrave on each of these twelve stones the name of one of the sons of Jacob. These names will represent the twelve Israeli tribes.
Kinahanglan nakahan-ay ang mga bato sumala sa ngalan sa napulo ug duha ka mga anak nga lalaki ni Israel, ang matag usa niini nahan-ay sumala sa ngalan. Kinahanglan sama kini sa pagkulit sa pangsilyo, ang matag ngalan nagpasabot sa usa sa napulog duha ka mga tribo.
22 The two [chains] that are made from pure gold and braided like cords are for [attaching] the sacred pouch [to the sacred apron].
Kinahanglan maghimo kamo diha sa tabon sa dughan ug kadena nga sama sa hikot, sinalapid nga hinimo sa lunsayng bulawan.
23 [The workman must] make two gold rings, and attach them to the upper corners of the sacred pouch.
Kinahanglan himoon usab ninyo ang duha ka singsing nga bulawan alang sa tabon sa dughan ug ibutang kini sa duha sa isig ka tumoy sa tabon sa dughan.
24 [He must make] two gold cords, and fasten one end of each cord to one of the rings.
Kinahanglan ikabit ninyo ang duha ka kadenang bulawan sa duha ka eskina sa tabon sa dughan.
25 He must fasten the other end of each cord to the two settings [that enclose the stones]. In that way, the sacred pouch will be attached to the shoulder straps of the sacred apron.
Ikabit ninyo ang laing tumoy sa duha ka sinalapid nga kadena diha sa duha ka pilitanan. Unya kinahanglan ikabit usab ninyo sa abagahan sa efod sa dapit sa atubangan.
26 Then [he must] make two more gold rings, and attach them to the lower corners of the sacred pouch, on the inside edges, next to the sacred apron.
Kinahanglan himoon ninyo ang dugang duha ka singsing nga bulawan, ug ibutang ninyo kini sa laing duha ka mga eskina sa tabon sa dughan, ubos sa kilid nga duol sa sulod nga sidsid.
27 [He must] make two more gold rings, and attach them to the lower part of the front of the shoulder straps, near to where [the shoulder straps] are joined [to the sacred apron], just above the carefully-woven sash/waistband.
Kinahanglan himoon ninyo ang dugang duha ka singsing nga bulawan, ug ikabit kini sa ubos sa duha ka abagahan nga bahin sa atubangan sa efod, duol sa ibabaw nga dapit sa pinong linubid nga bakos sa efod.
28 The skilled workman must tie the rings on the sacred pouch to the rings on the sacred apron with a blue cord, so that the sacred pouch is above the sash/waistband and does not come loose from the sacred apron.
Kinahanglan ihikot nila ang mga singsing sa tabon sa dughan ngadto sa mga singsing sa efod gamit ang asul nga higot, aron masumpay kini ibabaw sa bakos sa efod. Gihimo kini aron nga dili matangtang ang tabon sa dughan gikan sa efod.
29 In that way, Aaron will have the names of the twelve Israeli tribes in the sacred pouch close to his chest when he enters the Holy Place. This will remind him that I, Yahweh, [will never forget my people] (OR, [that he represents my people when he talks to me, Yahweh]).
Sa dihang mosulod si Aaron sa balaang dapit, kinahanglan dad-on niya ang ngalan sa mga Israelita ibabaw sa iyang dughan aron sa pagpakisayod, ingon nga padayon sa pagpahinumdom kang Yahweh.
30 Put into the sacred pouch the two things that the priest will use to determine my answers to the questions he asks. In that way, they will be close to his chest when he enters [the Holy Place to talk] to me. He will use them to find out what is my will for the Israeli people.”
Ibutang ninyo ang Urim ug ang Tumim diha sa tabon sa dughan alang sa pagpakisayod, nga kinahanglan anaa sa ibabaw sa dughan ni Aaron sa dihang moadto siya sa atubangan ni Yahweh. Kanunay dad-on ni Aaron diha sa iyang dughan ang pamaagi sa paghukom alang sa katawhan sa Israel didto sa atubangan ni Yahweh.
31 “[Tell the workmen to] use only blue [cloth] to make the robe that is to be worn underneath the priest’s sacred apron.
Kinahanglan tahion ninyo ang kupo sa efod sa lunlon tapul nga panapton.
32 It is to have an opening through which [the priest] can put his head. They must sew a border around this opening, to keep the material from tearing.
Kinahanglan aduna kini liab diha sa tunga alang sa ulo. Kinahanglan tahion ang palibot sa kilid sa liab niini aron dili kini magisi. Kinahanglan himoon kini sa tigtahi.
33 At the lower edge on the robe, they must fasten [decorations that look like] pomegranate fruit. They must be [woven from] blue, purple, and red yarn/thread.
Sa ubos nga sidsid, kinahanglan burdahan ninyo kini ug mga bunga sa granada sa linubid nga asul, tapul, ug pula. Kinahanglan ipataliwala usab ang kampanilyang bulawan sa palibot niini.
34 Between each of these decorations, they must fasten a tiny gold bell.
Kinahanglan adunay usa ka kampanilyang bulawan ug usa ka bunga sa granada, ug usa na usab ka kampanilyang bulawan ug usa ka bunga sa granada ug padayonon kini nga pagkahan-ay palibot sa sidsid sa kupo.
35 When Aaron enters the Holy Place [in the Sacred Tent] to do his work as a priest and when he leaves the Sacred Tent, the bells will ring [as he walks]. As a result, he will not die [because of disobeying my instructions].
Isul-ob ni Aaron ang kupo sa dihang mag-alagad siya, ug aron madungog ang tingog niini sa dihang mosulod siya sa balaang dapit sa atubangan ni Yahweh ug sa iyang paggawas. Himoon kini aron dili siya mamatay.
36 “[Tell them to] make a tiny ornament of pure gold, and tell a (skilled workman/gem-cutter) to engrave on it the words, ‘Dedicated to Yahweh.’
Kinahanglan himoon ninyo ang medalyon nga bulawan nga ibutang sa purong ug kuliti kini, sama sa nakakulit sa usa ka silyo, “Balaan alang kang Yahweh.”
37 They should fasten this ornament to the front of the turban by a blue cord.
Kinahanglan ihikot ninyo kining medalyon gamit ang asul nga hikot sa atubangan sa purong.
38 Aaron must always wear this on his forehead. In that way, Aaron himself will show [that he accepts] the guilt if the Israeli people offer [their sacrifices] to me in a way that is not correct, and I, Yahweh, will accept their sacrifices.
Kinahanglan anaa kini sa agtang ni Aaron; dalaon niya kanunay ang bisan unsang sala nga madala ngadto sa halad sa balaang mga gasa nga gilain sa mga Israelita alang kang Yahweh. Isul-ob niya kanunay sa iyang agtang ang purong aron dawaton ni Yahweh ang ilang mga gasa.
39 “[Tell them to] weave the long-sleeved tunic/gown from fine linen. Also, they must make from fine linen a turban and a sash/waistband, and embroider [designs on it].
Kinahanglan himoon ninyo ang pangsapaw ug ang purong gamit ang pinong lino. Burdahi usab ninyo ang bakos nga trabaho sa tigburda.
40 “[Tell them to] make beautiful long-sleeved tunics/gowns, sashes, and caps for Aaron’s sons. Make ones that will be suitable for those who have this dignified work.
Himoa ninyo ang mga pangsapaw, mga bakos, ug mga purong sa mga anak nga lalaki ni Aaron alang sa ilang dungog ug himaya.
41 Put these clothes on your [older] brother Aaron and on his sons. Then (set them apart/dedicate them) for this work by anointing them [with olive oil], in order that they may serve me [by being] priests.
Sul-obi si Aaron nga imong igsoon, ug ang iyang mga anak nga lalaki uban kaniya. Kinahanglan dihogi sila, gahinon, ug balaana alang kanako, aron mag-alagad sila kanako ingon nga mga pari.
42 Also [tell them to] make linen undershorts for them. The undershorts should extend from their waists to their thighs, in order that no one can see their private parts.
Kinahanglan himoan ninyo sila ug linong pangbahag nga bisti nga pang-ilalom aron motabon sa ilang pagkahubo, nga magtabon kanila gikan sa hawak hangtod sa paa.
43 Aaron and his sons must always wear those undershorts when they enter the Sacred Tent or when they come near to the altar to offer sacrifices in the Holy Place. If they do not obey this command, I will cause them to die. Aaron and all his male descendants must obey this rule forever.”
Kinahanglan isul-ob nila kini nga mga bahag sa dihang mosulod sila sa tolda nga tagboanan o moduol na sila halaran sa pag-alagad didto sa balaang dapit. Kinahanglan buhaton nila kini aron dili sila mahimong sad-an kay kung dili mamatay gayod sila. Mao kini ang balaod nga dili mausab alang kang Aaron ug sa mga kaliwatan nga mosunod kaniya.
