Deuteronomy 27
1 Moses/I, along with the other Israeli leaders, said this to the people: “Obey all the commandments that I am giving to you today.
Inutusan ni Moises at ng mga nakatatanda ng Israel ang mga tao at sinabi, “Sundin ang lahat ng mga utos na sinasabi ko sa inyo ngayon.
2 [Soon] you will cross the Jordan [River] and enter the land that Yahweh, the God whom our ancestors [worshiped], promised to give to you. There, in that very fertile [IDM] land on the [west] side of the Jordan [River], set up some large stones [on Ebal Mountain], and cover them with plaster. Then write on those stones all these laws and teachings/instructions.
Sa araw na inyong tatawirin ang Jordan patungo sa lupain na ibibigay sa inyo ni Yahweh na inyong Diyos, dapat maglagay kayo ng ilang malalaking mga bato at ito'y palitadahan ang ito ng palitada.
Dapat ninyong isulat ang lahat ng mga salita ng kautusang ito kapag nakatawid na kayo; upang makapunta kayo sa lupain na ibibigay sa inyo ni Yahweh na inyong Diyos, isang lupaing dinadaluyan ng gatas at pulot, tulad ng ipinangako ni Yahweh sa inyo, ang Diyos ng inyong mga ninuno.
Kapag nakatawid na kayo ng Jordan, ilagay ninyo ang mga batong ito sa Bundok Ebal na iniutos ko sa inyo ngayon, at ito'y palitadahan ito ng palitada.
5 And build a stone altar there to offer sacrifices to Yahweh, but do not cut those stones with iron tools.
Doon dapat kayong magtayo ng altar para kay Yahweh na inyong Diyos, isang altar ng mga bato; pero hindi ninyo dapat gagamitan ng kasangkapang bakal ang pagtatayo ng mga bato.
6 The altar that you make to burn sacrifices to Yahweh our God must be made with uncut stones.
Dapat magtayo kayo ng altar ni Yahweh na inyong Diyos ng mga hindi hinugisang bato; dapat ninyong ialay doon ang mga handog na susunugin para kay Yahweh na inyong Diyos,
7 And there you must sacrifice offerings to maintain fellowship with Yahweh, and you must eat [your share of those offerings] and rejoice/celebrate in the presence of Yahweh.
at mag-aalay kayo ng mga handog para sa pagtitipon-tipon at kumain doon; magdiriwang kayo sa harap ni Yahweh na inyong Diyos.
8 And, when you write these laws on those stones, you must write them very clearly.”
Isusulat ninyo sa mga bato ang lahat ng mga salita ng kautusang ito ng malinaw.”
9 Then Moses/I, along with the priests, said to all the Israeli people, “You Israeli people, be quiet and listen [to what I am saying]. Today you have become the people who belong to Yahweh, our God.
Nagsalita si Moises at ang mga pari, ang mga Levita, sa buong Israel at sinabing, “Kayo ay tumahimik at makinig, Israel: Ngayon naging lahi na kayo ni Yahweh na inyong Diyos.
10 So, you must do what he tells you, and obey all the rules and regulations that I am giving to you today.”
Sa gayon, Dapat ninyong sundin ang boses ni Yahweh na inyong Diyos at sundin ang kaniyang mga utos at mga batas na sinasabi ko sa inyo ngayon.”
11 On that same day Moses/I said to the Israeli people,
Sa araw ding iyon inutusan ni Moises ang mga tao at sinabi,
12 “After you have crossed over the Jordan [River], the tribes of Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin must stand on Gerizim Mountain and [request Yahweh to] bless the people.
“Pagkatapos ninyong tawirin ang Jordan, dapat tumayo ang mga liping ito sa Bundok Gerizim para pagpalain ang mga tao: sina Simeon, Levi, Juda, Isacar, Jose, at Benjamin.
13 And the tribes of Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali must stand on Ebal Mountain and listen to the things that Yahweh will do when he curses the people.
At dapat tumayo ang mga liping ito sa Bundok ng Ebal para bigkasin ang mga sumpa: sina Ruben, Gad, Aser, Zabulon, Dan, at Naftali.
14 The descendants of Levi must shout these words loudly:
Ang mga Levita ay sasagot at sasabihin sa lahat ng mga kalalakihan ng Israel sa malakas na boses:
15 ‘Yahweh will curse anyone who makes an idol of stone, or of wood, or of metal, and secretly sets it up [and worships it]. Yahweh considers that those things, made by humans [SYN], are detestable/disgusting.’ And all the people must reply, ‘(Amen/We want that to happen).’
'Nawa'y isumpa ang taong gumagawa ng isang inukit o hinulmang anyo, isang bagay na nakasusuklam kay Yahweh, ang gawa ng mga kamay ng isang manggagawa lalaki, at siyang naglagay nito ng palihim.' At lahat ng mga tao ay dapat sumagot at magsabi ng, 'Amen.'
16 ‘Yahweh will curse anyone who dishonors his father or his mother.’ And all the people must reply, ‘(Amen/We want that to happen).’
'Nawa'y isumpa ang taong hind pinaparangalan ang kaniyang ama o sa kaniyang ina.' At lahat ng mga tao ay dapat magsabing, 'Amen.'
17 ‘Yahweh will curse anyone who removes someone else’s markers of property boundaries.’ And all the people must reply, ‘(Amen/We want that to happen).’
'Nawa'y isumpa ang taong magtatanggal ng palatandaan sa lupa ng kaniyang kapitbahay.' At lahat ng mga tao ay dapat magsabi ng, 'Amen.'
18 ‘Yahweh will curse anyone who leads a blind person to go (in the wrong direction/where that person does not want to go).’ And all the people must reply, ‘(Amen/We want that to happen).’
'Nawa'y isumpa ang taong inililigaw ang bulag mula sa daan.' At lahat ng mga tao ay dapat magsabi ng, 'Amen.'
19 ‘Yahweh will curse anyone who deprives foreigners or orphans or widows of the things that the laws state must be done for them.’ And all the people must reply, ‘(Amen/We want that to happen).’
'Nawa'y isumpa ang taong nagkakait ng katarungan na nararapat sa isang dayuhan, ulila, o balo.' At lahat ng mga tao ay dapat magsabi ng, 'Amen.'
20 ‘Yahweh will curse anyone who (shows no respect for/disgraces his father) by having sex with [EUP] any of his father’s wives.’ And all the people must reply, ‘(Amen/We want that to happen).’
'Nawa'y isumpa ang taong sumiping sa asawa ng kaniyang ama, dahil kinuha niya ang karapatan ng kaniyang ama.' At lahat ng mga tao ay dapat magsabi ng, 'Amen.'
21 ‘Yahweh will curse anyone who has sex [EUP] with any animal.’ And all the people must reply, ‘(Amen/We want that to happen).’
'Nawa'y isumpa ang taong sumiping sa anumang uri ng hayop.' At lahat ng mga tao ay dapat magsabi ng, 'Amen.'
22 ‘Yahweh will curse anyone who has sex with his sister or with his half-sister.’ And all the people must reply, ‘(Amen/We want that to happen).’
'Nawa'y isumpa ang taong sumiping sa kaniyang kapatid na babae, ang anak na babae ng kaniyang ama, o sa anak na babae ng kaniyang ina.' At lahat ng mga tao ay dapat magsabi ng, 'Amen.'
23 ‘Yahweh will curse anyone who has sex with [EUP] his mother-in-law.’ And all the people must reply, ‘(Amen/We want that to happen).’
'Nawa'y isumpa ang taong sumiping sa kaniyang biyenang babae.' At lahat ng mga tao ay dapat magsabi ng, 'Amen.'
24 ‘Yahweh will curse anyone who secretly murders someone else.’ And all the people must reply, ‘(Amen/We want that to happen).’
'Nawa'y isumpa ang taong lihim na pinatay ang kaniyang kapwa.' At lahat ng mga tao ay dapat magsabi ng, 'Amen.'
25 ‘Yahweh will curse anyone who accepts a bribe to murder someone who (is innocent/has not done something that is wrong.)’ And all the people must reply, ‘(Amen/We want that to happen).’
'Nawa'y isumpa ang taong tumatanggap ng isang suhol para pumatay ng taong walang kasalanan.' At lahat ng mga tao ay dapat magsabi ng, 'Amen.'
26 ‘Yahweh will curse anyone who disobeys these laws and refuses to declare that these laws [are good].’ And all the people must reply, ‘(Amen/We want that to happen).’”
'Nawa'y isumpa ang taong hindi magpatunay sa mga salita ng kautusang ito, para sundin ang mga ito.' At lahat ng mga tao ay dapat magsabi ng, 'Amen.'
