Deuteronomy 11
1 “[Because of all that] Yahweh your God [has done for you], you must love him and continually obey all his rules and regulations and commandments.
੧ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਰੱਖੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ, ਕਨੂੰਨਾਂ, ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਪਾਲਨਾ ਕਰੋ।
2 It was you and your ancestors, not your children, whom he disciplined [by causing all of you to have/experience difficulties]. So, starting today, continue to think about how very great and very powerful he is [DOU, MTY].
੨ਅੱਜ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਲਓ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੋਲਦਾ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਾ ਤਾਂ ਕੁਝ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਤਾੜ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਹਾਨਤਾ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੱਥ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਲੰਮੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ,
3 Think about the various miracles [DOU] that he performed in Egypt. Think about what he did to the king of Egypt and to his country.
੩ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ
4 Think about what he did to the army of Egypt, to their horses and their chariots. Think about how he caused the Red Sea to flood/cover over them while they were pursuing your ancestors, and how the army of Egypt was completely (wiped out/destroyed).
੪ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੀ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਦ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਲਾਲ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਦੀ ਵਗਾਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
5 Think about what Yahweh did for your ancestors in the desert before you arrived at this place.
੫ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਇਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਤੱਕ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀ-ਕੀ ਕੀਤਾ,
6 Think about what he did to Dathan and Abiram, the two sons of Eliab from the tribe of Reuben. While all of your ancestors were watching, the earth split open, and they fell into the opening [and disappeared], along with their families and their tents, their servants, and their animals.
੬ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਰਊਬੇਨੀ ਅਲੀਆਬ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦਾਥਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਬੀਰਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਕੀ-ਕੀ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਦ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਤੰਬੂਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ-ਜੰਤੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੈਰਵਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿਗਲ ਲਿਆ,
7 You [SYN] and your ancestors have seen all these miracles that Yahweh performed.
੭ਪਰੰਤੂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਇੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੱਡੇ-ਵੱਡੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ।
8 So, obey all the commandments that I am giving you today, in order that you will be strong and able to cross the river and occupy the land that you are about to enter,
੮ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨੋ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤਕੜੇ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਓ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਾਰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋ,
9 and in order that you will live for a long time in that land, the land that Yahweh solemnly promised your ancestors that he would give to them and to their descendants, a land that is very fertile [IDM].
੯ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਰਹਿ ਸਕੋ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਧੀ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੁੱਧ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਵਗਦਾ ਹੈ।
10 The land that you are about to enter and occupy is not like the land of Egypt, where your ancestors lived. In Egypt, after they planted seeds, it was necessary for them to work hard [MTY] to water [the plants that grew].
੧੦ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਦੇਸ਼ ਜਿਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋ, ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਰਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਿੱਕਲੇ ਹੋ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੀਜ ਬੀਜਦੇ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਗ ਪੱਤ ਦੀ ਕਿਆਰੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੈਰ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲੀਆਂ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਸੀ।
11 But the land that you are about to enter is a land where there are many hills and valleys, where there is plenty of rain.
੧੧ਪਰ ਜਿਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਾਰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋ, ਉਹ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀ ਵਰਖਾ ਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਪੀਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
12 Yahweh takes care of that land. He [SYN] watches over it every day, from the beginning of each year to the end of each year.
੧੨ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਧਿਆਨ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਅਰੰਭ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਤੱਕ ਲੱਗੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
13 Today I am commanding you to love Yahweh our God and to serve him with your entire inner beings. If you do that,
੧੩ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਨ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣੋਗੇ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੈਂ ਅੱਜ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਰੱਖੋ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰੋ,
14 each year he will send rain on your land at the (right times/times when it is needed), (in the autumn/at the end of the dry season) and (in the spring/before the next dry season starts). As a result, you will have grain and [grapes to make] wine and [olives to make olive] oil.
੧੪ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਵਰਖਾ ਵਰ੍ਹਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਰੀ ਵਰਖਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਅੰਨ, ਨਵੀਂ ਮਧ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਲ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰ ਸਕੋ।
15 And he will cause grass to grow in your fields for your livestock [to eat]. You will have all the food that you want.
੧੫ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਲਈ ਘਾਹ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਰੱਜ ਕੇ ਖਾਓਗੇ।
16 “But I warn you, do not turn away from Yahweh our God and start to worship other gods,
੧੬ਚੌਕਸ ਰਹੋ, ਕਿਤੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਮਨ ਭਟਕ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕੋ
17 because if you do that, Yahweh will become very angry with you. He will prevent any rain from falling. As a result, the crops will not grow, and you will soon die [from hunger] in the good land that Yahweh is about to give to you.
੧੭ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਭੜਕ ਉੱਠੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਬੰਦ ਕਰੇ ਕਿ ਵਰਖਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਆਪਣਾ ਫਲ ਨਾ ਦੇਵੇ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਚੰਗੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਛੇਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਓਗੇ।
18 So, keep thinking [IDM] about these commands. Write them [on tiny scrolls] and fasten them to your arms/wrists, and write them on bands that you fasten to your foreheads [to help you to remember them].
੧੮ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖੋ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਟਿੱਕੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹੋਣ।
19 Teach them to your children again and again. Talk about them [all the time]: When you are in your houses and when you are walking outside; talk about them when you are lying down at night and when you are getting up in the morning.
੧੯ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠਦਿਆਂ, ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਰਦਿਆਂ, ਲੇਟਦਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਠਦਿਆਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਖਾਇਓ।
20 Write them on the doorposts and on the gates of your houses.
੨੦ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੁਗਾਠਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਫਾਟਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਖਿਓ,
21 Do that in order that you and your children will live for a long time in the land that Yahweh promised to our ancestors that he would give to them. That land will belong to you [and your descendants] as long as there is a sky above the earth.
੨੧ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਜਿਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਧੀ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਲੰਮੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹੇ ਤਦ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਬਣੇ ਰਹਿਣ।
22 “Faithfully continue to obey what I am commanding you to do—to love Yahweh our God, and to conduct your lives as he wants you to do, and to (be faithful to/have a close relationship with) him.
੨੨ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਦੀ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਮਨ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਪਾਲਨਾ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰੋ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਰੱਖੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੱਲੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਗੇ ਰਹੋ,
23 If you do that, Yahweh will expel all the people-groups in that land as you advance, people-groups that are more numerous and more powerful than you are.
੨੩ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੱਗਿਓਂ ਕੱਢ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਹਨ, ਕਾਬੂ ਪਾ ਲਵੋਗੇ।
24 All the ground [in that land] on which you walk will be yours. Your territory will extend from the desert [in the south] to the Lebanon [Mountains in the north], and from the Euphrates River [in the east] to the [Mediterranean] Sea in the west.
੨੪ਹਰੇਕ ਸਥਾਨ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਤਲੇ ਮਿੱਧਣਗੇ, ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਉਜਾੜ ਤੋਂ ਲਬਾਨੋਨ ਤੱਕ ਅਤੇ ਦਰਿਆ ਫ਼ਰਾਤ ਤੋਂ ਪੱਛਮ ਦੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੱਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਹੱਦਾਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ।
25 Yahweh our God will cause all the people in that land to be afraid of you, which is what he promised, with the result that no people-group will be able to stop you.
੨੫ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਠਹਿਰ ਨਾ ਸਕੇਗਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬਚਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਦਬਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਭੈਅ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿੱਥੋਂ ਦੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤੁਰੋਗੇ, ਪਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
26 “Listen carefully: Today I am telling you [that Yahweh will either] bless [you or he will] curse you.
੨੬ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਅੱਜ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਬਰਕਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਾਪ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ:
27 If you obey the commandments of Yahweh our God that I am giving to you today, he will bless you.
੨੭ਬਰਕਤ, ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣੋਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੈਂ ਅੱਜ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ,
28 If you do not obey them, and if you turn away from him to worship other gods that you have never known about before, he will curse you.
੨੮ਸਰਾਪ, ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਸੁਣੋ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਮਾਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪੈ ਜਾਓ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਅੱਜ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਓ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ।
29 And when Yahweh brings you into the land that you are about to enter and occupy, [some of you must stand on top of] Gerizim Mountain and proclaim what will cause Yahweh to bless you, and [the others must stand on top of] Ebal Mountain and proclaim [what will cause Yahweh to] curse you.”
੨੯ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਜਦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚਾ ਦੇਵੇ, ਜਿਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਰਕਤ ਗਰਿੱਜ਼ੀਮ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਾਪ ਏਬਾਲ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਦੇਇਓ।
30 (Those two mountains are [RHQ] west of the Jordan [River], west of the Jordan Valley near the huge oak tree at Moreh [village] in the land where the Canaan people-group lives. They live close to the sacred trees near Gilgal.)
੩੦ਕੀ ਉਹ ਯਰਦਨ ਪਾਰ ਉਸ ਰਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਡੁੱਬਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਨਾਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਅਰਾਬਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਲਗਾਲ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਮੋਰਹ ਦੇ ਬਲੂਤਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ?
31 “You will soon cross the Jordan [River] to occupy the land that Yahweh our God is giving to you. When you enter that land and start to live there,
੩੧ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਰਦਨ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਓ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਕਰੋਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸੋਗੇ,
32 be sure to obey all the rules and regulations that I am giving to you today.”
੩੨ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਮੰਨੋ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੈਂ ਅੱਜ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
