1 Chronicles 8
1 Benjamin had five sons: Bela, Ashbel, Aharah,
൧ബെന്യാമീൻ ആദ്യജാതനായ ബേലയെയും രണ്ടാമനായ അശ്ബേലിനെയും മൂന്നാമനായ അഹൂഹിനെയും
2 Nohah, and Rapha.
൨നാലാമനായ നോഹയെയും അഞ്ചാമനായ രഫായെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
3 The sons of Bela were Addar, Gera, Abihud,
൩ബേലയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അദ്ദാർ, ഗേരാ,
4 Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,
൪അബീഹൂദ്, അബീശൂവ, നയമാൻ, അഹോഹ്,
5 Gera, Shephuphan, and Huram.
൫ഗേരാ, ശെഫൂഫാൻ, ഹൂരാം.
6 [One of Gera’s sons was Ehud.] The descendants of Ehud were leaders of their clans who lived in Geba [city], but they were forced to move to Manahath [city].
൬ഏഹൂദിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരോ--അവർ ഗിബനിവാസികളുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾക്ക് തലവന്മാർ; അവർ അവരെ മാനഹത്തിലേക്ക് പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോയി;
7 Ehud’s sons/descendants were Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera. Gera was the one who led them when they moved to Manahath. Gera was the father of Uzza and Ahihud.
൭നയമാൻ, അഹീയാവ്, ഗേരാ എന്നിവരെ അവൻ പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി--പിന്നെ അവൻ ഹുസ്സയെയും അഹീഹൂദിനെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
8 [Another descendant of Benjamin was Shaharaim]. He and his wife Hushim had two sons, Abitub and Elpaal. In [the] Moab [region], Shaharaim divorced Hushim and his other wife Baara. [Then he married a woman whose name was] Hodesh, and they had [seven sons]: Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam, Jeuz, Sakia, and Mirmah. They were all leaders of their clans.
൮ശഹരയീം തന്റെ ഭാര്യമാരായ ഹൂശീമിനെയും ബയരയെയും ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചശേഷം മോവാബ്‌ദേശത്ത് പുത്രന്മാരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
൯അവൻ തന്റെ ഭാര്യയായ ഹോദേശിൽ യോബാബ്, സിബ്യാവ്, മേശാ, മല്‍ക്കാം,
൧൦യെവൂസ്, സാഖ്യാവ്, മിർമ്മാ എന്നിവരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു. ഇവർ അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾക്ക് തലവന്മാരും ആയിരുന്നു.
൧൧ഹൂശീമിൽ അവൻ അബീത്തൂബിനെയും എല്പയലിനെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
12 Elpaal’s sons were Eber, Misham, Shemed, Beriah, and Shema. Shemed built [the towns of] Ono and Lod, and the nearby villages. Beriah and Shema were leaders of their clans, who lived in Aijalon [city]. They forced the people who lived in Gath [city] to leave their city.
൧൨എല്പയലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഏബെർ, മിശാം, ശേമെർ; ഇവൻ ഓനോവും ലോദും അതിനോട് ചേർന്ന പട്ടണങ്ങളും പണിതു;
൧൩ബെരീയാവ്, ശേമ--ഇവർ അയ്യാലോൻ നിവാസികളുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾക്ക് തലവന്മാരായിരുന്നു. അവർ ഗത്ത് നിവാസികളെ ഓടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു;
14 Beriah’s sons were Ahio, Shashak, Jeremoth, Zebadiah, Arad, Eder, Michael, Ishpah, and Joha.

൧൫സെബദ്യാവ്, അരാദ്, ഏദെർ, മീഖായേൽ,
൧൬യിശ്പാ, യോഹാ; എന്നിവർ ബെരീയാവിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ.
17 [Other] descendants of Elpaal were Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber,
൧൭സെബദ്യാവ്, മെശുല്ലാം, ഹിസ്കി, ഹെബെർ,
18 Ishmerai, Izliah, and Jobab.
൧൮യിശ്മെരായി, യിസ്ലീയാവ്, യോബാബ് എന്നിവർ
19 [Another descendant of Benjamin was Shimei.] Shimei’s descendants included Jakim, Zicri, Zabdi, Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel, Adaiah, Beraiah, and Shimrath.
൧൯എല്പയലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ. യാക്കീം, സിക്രി,
൨൦സബ്ദി, എലിയേനായി, സില്ലെഥായി,

22 Shashak’s sons were Ishpan, Eber, Eliel,

23 Abdon, Zicri, Hanan,

24 Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah,

25 Iphdeiah, and Penuel.

26 [Another descendant of Benjamin was] Jeroham, whose sons were Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah, Jaareshiah, Elijah, and Zicri.
൨൬ശംശെരായി, ശെഹര്യാവു, അഥല്യാവ്,
൨൭യാരെശ്യാവു, എലീയാവു, സിക്രി എന്നിവർ യെരോഹാമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ.
28 In the records of these clans it is written that all those men were leaders of their clans, and they lived in Jerusalem.
൨൮ഇവർ അവരുടെ തലമുറകളിൽ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾക്ക് തലവന്മാരും പ്രധാനികളും ആയിരുന്നു; അവർ യെരൂശലേമിൽ പാർത്തിരുന്നു.
29 [Another descendant of Benjamin was] Jeiel. He lived in Gibeon [town], and he was the leader there. His wife was Maacah.
൨൯ഗിബെയോനിൽ ഗിബെയോന്റെ പിതാവായ യെയീയേലും അവന്റെ ഭാര്യ മയഖായും താമസിച്ചിരുന്നു
30 His oldest son was Abdon. His other sons were Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,

31 Gedor, Ahio, Zeker,

32 and Mikloth. Mikloth was the father of Shimeah. All these sons of Jeiel also lived near their relatives in Jerusalem.
൩൨മിക്ലോത്ത് ശിമെയയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ഇവരും തങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരോടുകൂടെ യെരൂശലേമിൽ താമസിച്ചു.
33 Ner was the father of Kish, and Kish was the father of [King] Saul. Saul was the father of Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Esh-Baal.
൩൩നേർ കീശിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു, കീശ് ശൌലിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു, ശൌല്‍ യോനാഥാനെയും മല്‍ക്കീശൂവയെയും അബീനാദാബിനെയും എശ്-ബാലിനെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
34 Jonathan’s son was Merib-Baal. Merib-Baal was the father of Micah.
൩൪യോനാഥാന്റെ മകൻ മെരീബ്ബാൽ; മെരീബ്ബാൽ മീഖയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
35 Micah’s sons were Pithon, Melech, Tarea, and Ahaz.
൩൫മീഖയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: പീഥോൻ, മേലെക്, തരേയ, ആഹാസ്.
36 Ahaz was the father of Jehoaddah. Jehoaddah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri. Zimri was the father of Moza.
൩൬ആഹാസ് യെഹോവദ്ദയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; യഹോവദ്ദാ അലേമെത്ത്, അസ്മാവെത്ത്, സിമ്രി എന്നിവരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; സിമ്രി മോസയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; മോസാ ബിനയയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു;
37 Moza was the father of Binea. The son of Binea was Raphah. The son of Raphah was Eleasah. The son of Eleasah was Azel.

38 Azel had six sons: Azrikam, Bokeru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan.

39 Azel’s [younger] brother was Eshek. Eshek’s oldest son was Ulam. His other sons were Jeush and Eliphelet.

40 Ulam’s sons were brave warriors and (good archers/able to shoot arrows well). Altogether they had 150 sons and grandsons. Those were the descendants of Benjamin.
൪൦ഊലാമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ പരാക്രമശാലികളും വില്ലാളികളും ആയിരുന്നു; അവർക്ക് അനേകം പുത്രന്മാരും പൌത്രന്മാരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവരുടെ സംഖ്യ നൂറ്റമ്പത് (150). ഇവർ എല്ലാവരും ബെന്യാമീന്യസന്തതികൾ.
