1 Benjamin had five sons: Bela, Ashbel, Aharah,
And Benjamin he fathered Bela firstborn his Ashbel the second and Ahrah the third.
Nohah the fourth and Rapha the fifth.
3 The sons of Bela were Addar, Gera, Abihud,
And they belonged sons to Bela Addar and Gera and Abihud.
4 Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,
And Abishua and Naaman and Ahoah.
5 Gera, Shephuphan, and Huram.
And Gera and Shephuphan and Huram.
6 [One of Gera’s sons was Ehud.] The descendants of Ehud were leaders of their clans who lived in Geba [city], but they were forced to move to Manahath [city].
And these [were] [the] sons of Ehud these they [were the] chiefs of fathers of [the] inhabitants of Geba and people took into exile them to Manahath.
7 Ehud’s sons/descendants were Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera. Gera was the one who led them when they moved to Manahath. Gera was the father of Uzza and Ahihud.
And Naaman and Ahijah and Gera he he took into exile them and he fathered Uzzah and Ahihud.
8 [Another descendant of Benjamin was Shaharaim]. He and his wife Hushim had two sons, Abitub and Elpaal. In [the] Moab [region], Shaharaim divorced Hushim and his other wife Baara. [Then he married a woman whose name was] Hodesh, and they had [seven sons]: Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam, Jeuz, Sakia, and Mirmah. They were all leaders of their clans.
And Shaharaim he fathered in [the] region of Moab from when sent away he them Hushim and Baara wives his.
And he fathered from Hodesh wife his Jobab and Zibia and Mesha and Malkam.
And Jeuz and Sakia and Mirmah these [were] sons his [the] chiefs of fathers.
And from Hushim he fathered Abitub and Elpaal.
12 Elpaal’s sons were Eber, Misham, Shemed, Beriah, and Shema. Shemed built [the towns of] Ono and Lod, and the nearby villages. Beriah and Shema were leaders of their clans, who lived in Aijalon [city]. They forced the people who lived in Gath [city] to leave their city.
And [the] sons of Elpaal Eber and Misham and Shemed he he built Ono and Lod and daughters its.
And Beriah and Shema they [were] [the] chiefs of the fathers of [the] inhabitants of Aijalon they they put to flight [the] inhabitants of Gath.
14 Beriah’s sons were Ahio, Shashak, Jeremoth, Zebadiah, Arad, Eder, Michael, Ishpah, and Joha.
And Ahio Shashak and Jeremoth.
And Zebadiah and Arad and Eder.
And Michael and Ishpah and Joha [were] [the] sons of Beriah.
17 [Other] descendants of Elpaal were Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber,
And Zebadiah and Meshullam and Hizki and Heber.
18 Ishmerai, Izliah, and Jobab.
And Ishmerai and Izliah and Jobab [were] [the] sons of Elpaal.
19 [Another descendant of Benjamin was Shimei.] Shimei’s descendants included Jakim, Zicri, Zabdi, Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel, Adaiah, Beraiah, and Shimrath.
And Jakim and Zikri and Zabdi.
And Elienai and Zillethai and Eliel.
And Adaiah and Beraiah and Shimrath [were] [the] sons of Shimei.
22 Shashak’s sons were Ishpan, Eber, Eliel,
And Ishpan and Eber and Eliel.
And Abdon and Zikri and Hanan.
24 Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah,
And Hananiah and Elam and Anthothijah.
And Iphdeiah (and Penuel *Q(K)*) [were] [the] sons of Shashak.
26 [Another descendant of Benjamin was] Jeroham, whose sons were Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah, Jaareshiah, Elijah, and Zicri.
And Shamsherai and Shechariah and Athaliah.
And Jaareshiah and Elijah and Zikri [were] [the] sons of Jeroham.
28 In the records of these clans it is written that all those men were leaders of their clans, and they lived in Jerusalem.
These [were the] chiefs of fathers to generations their chiefs these they dwelt in Jerusalem.
29 [Another descendant of Benjamin was] Jeiel. He lived in Gibeon [town], and he was the leader there. His wife was Maacah.
And in Gibeon they dwelt (Jeiel *X*) [the] father of Gibeon and [the] name of wife his [was] Maacah.
30 His oldest son was Abdon. His other sons were Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
And son his the firstborn Abdon and Zur and Kish and Baal (and Ner *X*) and Nadab.
And Gedor and Ahio and Zeker.
32 and Mikloth. Mikloth was the father of Shimeah. All these sons of Jeiel also lived near their relatives in Jerusalem.
And Mikloth he fathered Shimeah and also they before relatives their they dwelt in Jerusalem with brothers their.
33 Ner was the father of Kish, and Kish was the father of [King] Saul. Saul was the father of Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Esh-Baal.
And Ner he fathered Kish and Kish he fathered Saul and Saul he fathered Jonathan and Malki-Shua and Abinadab and Eshbaal.
34 Jonathan’s son was Merib-Baal. Merib-Baal was the father of Micah.
And [the] son of Jonathan [was] Merib-baal and Merib-baal he fathered Micah.
35 Micah’s sons were Pithon, Melech, Tarea, and Ahaz.
And [the] sons of Micah Pithon and Melech and Tarea and Ahaz.
36 Ahaz was the father of Jehoaddah. Jehoaddah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri. Zimri was the father of Moza.
And Ahaz he fathered Jehoaddah and Jehoaddah he fathered Alemeth and Azmaveth and Zimri and Zimri he fathered Moza.
37 Moza was the father of Binea. The son of Binea was Raphah. The son of Raphah was Eleasah. The son of Eleasah was Azel.
And Moza he fathered Binea Raphah son his Eleasah son his Azel son his.
38 Azel had six sons: Azrikam, Bokeru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan.
And [belonged] to Azel six sons and these [are] names their Azrikam - Bocheru and Ishmael and Sheariah and Obadiah and Hanan all these [were] [the] sons of Azel.
39 Azel’s [younger] brother was Eshek. Eshek’s oldest son was Ulam. His other sons were Jeush and Eliphelet.
And [the] sons of Eshek brother his Ulam firstborn his Jeush the second and Eliphelet the third.
40 Ulam’s sons were brave warriors and (good archers/able to shoot arrows well). Altogether they had 150 sons and grandsons. Those were the descendants of Benjamin.
And they were [the] sons of Ulam men mighty of strength [who] bent a bow and [who] had many children and children of children one hundred and fifty all these [were] of [the] descendants of Benjamin.
