1 Chronicles 7

1 Issachar’s four sons were Tola, Puah, Jashub, and Shimron.

پسران یساکار: تولاع، فوه، یاشوب، شمرون.

2 Tola’s sons were Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam, and Samuel (OR, Shemuel). They were all leaders of the clans [descended from] them. In the record of Tola’s descendants were the names of 22,600 men who served in the army during the time that David was the king [of Israel].

پسران تولاع که هر یک از آنها رئیس یک طایفه بود: عزی، رفایا، یری‌ئیل، یحمای، یبسام و سموئیل. در زمان داوود پادشاه، تعداد کل مردان جنگی این طایفه‌ها ۲۲٬۶۰۰ نفر بود.

3 Uzzi’s son was Izrahiah. Izrahiah’s five sons were Michael, Obadiah, Joel, and Isshiah. Izrahiah and his sons were all leaders of their clans.

یزرحیا پسر عزی بود. یزرحیا و چهار پسرش به نامهای میکائیل، عوبدیا، یوئیل و یشیا، هر یک رئیس طایفه‌ای بودند.

4 In the record of Izrahiah’s descendants were the names of 36,000 men who served in the army because they had many wives and children.

آنها زنان و پسران زیادی داشتند به طوری که توانستند ۳۶٬۰۰۰ مرد برای خدمت سربازی بفرستند.

5 In the records of the clans descended from Issachar were the names of 87,000 men who served in the army.

تعداد کل مردانی که از قبیلهٔ یساکار برای خدمت سربازی آمادگی داشتند ۸۷٬۰۰۰ جنگجوی زبده بود که نام تمام آنها در نسب نامه نوشته شد.

6 [Some of the] sons of Benjamin were Bela, Beker, and Jediael.

پسران بنیامین اینها بودند: بالع، باکر و یدی‌ئیل.

7 Bela’s five sons were Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth, and Iri. They were all leaders of clans. In the records of the clans descended from Bela there were names of 22,034 men who served in the army.

پسران بالع: اصبون، عزی، عزی‌ئیل، یریموت، عیری. این پنج نفر رئیس طایفه بودند. تعداد سربازان این طوایف به ۲۲٬۰۳۴ نفر می‌رسید که نام آنها در نسب نامه نوشته شد.

8 Beker’s sons were Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abijah, Anathoth, and Alemeth.

پسران باکر: زمیره، یوعاش، الیعازار، الیوعینای، عمری، یریموت، ابیا، عناتوت و علمت.

9 In the records of the clans descended from Beker were the names of 20,200 men and leaders of the clans who served in the army.

تعداد سربازان این طایفه به ۲۰٬۲۰۰ نفر می‌رسید که نام آنها همراه نام رؤسای طوایف در نسب نامه ثبت شد.

10 Jediael’s son was Bilhan. Bilhan’s sons were Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Kenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish, and Ahishahar.

بلهان پسر یدیع‌ئیل بود. پسران بلهان اینها بودند: یعیش، بنیامین، ایهود، کنعنه، زیتان، ترشیش و اخیشاحر.

11 They were all leaders of clans descended from them. There were 17,200 of them who served in the army.

اینها رؤسای طوایف یدیع‌ئیل بودند که ۱۷٬۲۰۰ مرد جنگی داشتند.

12 Shuppim and Huppim were descendants of Ir. [One of] the descendants of Aher was Hushim.

شوفی‌ها و حوفی‌ها از نسل عیر بودند و حوشی‌ها از نسل احیر.

13 Naphtali’s sons were Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and Shillem. They were all descendants of [Jacob’s slave wife] Bilhah.

پسران نفتالی: یحصی‌ئیل، جونی، یصر و شلوم. (اینها نوه‌های بلهه، کنیز یعقوب بودند.)

14 [This is a list of] Manasseh’s descendants. Manasseh had a slave wife who was from Syria. She was the mother of Asriel and Makir. Makir was the father of Gilead.

پسران منسی که از کنیز او که ارامی بود، به دنیا آمدند، اسرئیل و ماخیر (پدر جلعاد) بودند.

15 Makir [had two wives]. They were from the clans of Huppim and Shuppim. One of Makir’s wives was named Maacah. Another descendant [of Makir] was Zelophehad. Zelophehad [had no sons; he] had only daughters.

ماخیر از میان شوفی‌ها و حوفی‌ها برای خود زن گرفت. او خواهری به نام معکه داشت. صلفحاد یکی دیگر از فرزندان منسی بود که فقط چند دختر داشت.

16 Makir’s wife Maacah gave birth to two sons whom she named Peresh and Sheresh. Sheresh’s sons were Ulam and Rakem.

زن ماخیر که او هم معکه نام داشت پسری زایید و نام او را فارش گذاشتند. اسم برادرش شارش بود و پسرانش اولام و راقم نام داشتند.

17 Ulam’s son was Bedan. All those [men were considered to be] descendants of Gilead, who was the son of Makir and grandson of Manasseh.

بدان پسر اولام بود. اینها پسران جلعاد، نوه‌های ماخیر و نبیره‌های منسی بودند.

18 Makir’s sister name was Hammoleketh who was the mother of Ishdod, Abiezer, and Mahlah.

همولکه (خواهر جلعاد) سه پسر به دنیا آورد به نامهای: ایشهود، ابیعزر و محله.

19 [One son of Gilead was] Shemida, whose sons were Ahian, Shechem, Likhi, and Aniam.

اخیان، شکیم، لقحی، انیعام پسران شمیداع بودند.

20 [This is a list of] the descendants of Ephraim. One son of Ephraim’s was Shuthelah. Shuthelah’s son was Bered. Bered’s son was Tahath. Tahath’s son was Eleadah. Eleadah’s son was [also named] Tahath.

نسل افرایم به ترتیب عبارت بودند از: شوتالح، بارد، تحت، العادا، تحت، زاباد، شوتالح، عازر و العاد. العاد و عازر قصد داشتند گله‌های جتی‌ها را که در آن سرزمین ساکن بودند غارت کنند، ولی به دست روستایی‌های آنجا کشته شدند.

21 Tahath’s son was Zabad. Zabad’s son was Shuthelah. [Ephraim’s other sons, ] Ezer and Elead, went to Gath [city] to steal some cows and sheep. But they were both killed by some of the men from that city.

22 Their father Ephraim cried/mourned for them for many days, and his family came to comfort him.

پدرشان افرایم مدت زیادی برای آنها ماتم گرفت و اقوامش به دلداری او آمدند.

23 Then he and his wife had sex [EUP] [again], and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. Ephraim named him Beriah [which resembles the word ‘trouble’, ] because of the trouble that his family had experienced.

پس از آن، زن افرایم حامله شده پسری زایید و به یاد آن مصیبت نام او را بریعه (یعنی «فاجعه») گذاشتند.

24 Ephraim’s daughter was Sheerah. Her workers built [three towns]: Lower Beth-Horon, Upper Beth-Horon, and Uzzen-Sheerah.

نام دختر افرایم، شیره بود. شیره، بیت‌حورون پایین و بالا و اوزین شیره را بنا کرد.

25 [Another] son of Ephraim was Rephah. Rephah’s son was Resheph. Resheph’s son was Telah. Telah’s son was Tahan.

افرایم پسر دیگری داشت به نام رافح که نسل او عبارت بودند از: راشف، تالح، تاحن،

26 Tahan’s son was Ladan. Ladan’s son was Ammihud. Ammihud’s son was Elishama.

لعدان، عمیهود، الیشمع،

27 Elishama’s son was Nun. Nun’s son was Joshua, [the man who led the Israelis after Moses died].

نون و یوشع.

28 [This is a list of] the cities and areas where the descendants of Ephraim lived: Bethel and the nearby villages; Naaran to the east; Gezer to the west and the nearby villages; and Shechem and the nearby villages. Those villages extended [north] as far as Ayyah and the nearby villages.

ناحیه‌ای که آنها در آن زندگی می‌کردند شامل بیت‌ئیل و روستاهای اطرافش بود که از طرف شرق تا نعران و از سمت غرب تا جازر و روستاهای حوالی آن امتداد می‌یافت. شهرهای دیگر این ناحیه شکیم و ایه با دهکده‌های اطراف آنها بودند.

29 Along the border of the area where the descendants of Manasseh lived were these towns: Beth-Shan, Taanach, Megiddo, and Dor, and the nearby villages. The people who lived in all those places were descendants of Jacob’s son Joseph.

قبیلهٔ منسی که از نسل یوسف پسر یعقوب بودند، شهرهای زیر و نواحی اطراف آنها را در اختیار داشتند: بیت‌شان، تعناک، مجدو و دُر.

30 Asher’s sons were Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, and Beriah. Their sister was Serah.

پسران اشیر عبارت بودند از: یمنه، یشوه، یشوی و بریعه. اشیر دختری به نام سارح نیز داشت.

31 Beriah’s sons were Heber and Malkiel. Malkiel was the father of Birzaith

پسران بریعه عبارت بودند از: حابر و ملکی‌ئیل (پدر برزاوت).

32 Heber was the father of Japhlet, Shomer, and Hotham. Their sister was Shua.

پسران حابر عبارت بودند از: یفلیط، شومیر و حوتام. حابر دختری به نام شوعا نیز داشت.

33 Japhlet’s sons were Pasach, Bimhal, and Ashvath.

پسران یفلیط عبارت بودند از: فاسک، بمهال و عشوت.

34 Japhlet’s [younger] brother was Shomer. Shomer’s sons were Rohgah, Hubbah, and Aram.

پسران شومیر برادر یفلیط اینها بودند: روهجه، یحبه و ارام.

35 Shomer’s [younger] brother was Hotham (OR, Helem). Hotham’s sons were Zophah, Imna, Shelesh, and Amal.

پسران برادر او هیلام عبارت بودند از: صوفح، یمناع، شالش و عامال.

36 Zophah’s sons were Suah, Harnepher, Shual, Beri, Imrah,

پسران صوفح عبارت بودند از: سوح، حرنفر، شوعال، بیری، یمره،

37 Bezer, Hod, Shamma, Shilshah, Ithran [whose other name was Jether], and Beera.

باصر، هود، شما، شلشه، یتران و بئیرا.

38 Jether’s sons were Jephunneh, Pispah, and Ara.

پسران یتر عبارت بودند از: یفنه، فسفا و آرا.

39 [Another descendant of Asher was] Ulla, whose sons were Arah, Hanniel, and Rizia.

پسران علا عبارت بودند از: آرح، حنی‌ئیل و رصیا.

40 All those men were descendants of Asher, and they were all leaders of their clans. They were brave warriors and excellent leaders. In the record of the clans that are descended from Asher are [the names of] 26,000 men who served in the army.

همهٔ فرزندان اشیر که سران طایفه‌ها بودند، جنگاورانی کارآزموده و رهبرانی برجسته محسوب می‌شدند. تعداد مردان جنگی این طایفه که در نسب نامه ثبت گردید ۲۶٬۰۰۰ نفر بود.
