1 Chronicles 6
1 Levi’s sons were Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
१लेवी के पुत्र गेर्शोन, कहात और मरारी।
2 Kohath’s sons were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
२और कहात के पुत्र, अम्राम, यिसहार, हेब्रोन और उज्जीएल।
3 Amram’s children were Miriam and [her younger brothers] Aaron and Moses. Aaron’s sons were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
३और अम्राम की सन्तान हारून, मूसा और मिर्याम, और हारून के पुत्र, नादाब, अबीहू, एलीआजर और ईतामार।
4 Eleazar was the father of Phinehas. Phinehas was the father of Abishua.
४एलीआजर से पीनहास, पीनहास से अबीशू,
5 Abishua was the father of Bukki. Bukki was the father of Uzzi.
५अबीशू से बुक्की, बुक्की से उज्जी,
6 Uzzi was the father of Zerahiah. Zerahiah was the father of Meraioth.

7 Meraioth was the father of Amariah. Amariah was the father of Ahitub.
७मरायोत से अमर्याह, अमर्याह से अहीतूब,
8 Ahitub was the father of Zadok. Zadok was the father of Ahimaaz.
८अहीतूब से सादोक, सादोक से अहीमास,
9 Ahimaaz was the father of Azariah. Azariah was the father of Johanan.
९अहीमास से अजर्याह, अजर्याह से योहानान,
10 Johanan was the father of Azariah. Azariah was a priest in the temple that Solomon commanded to be built in Jerusalem.
१०और योहानान से अजर्याह उत्पन्न हुआ (जो सुलैमान के यरूशलेम में बनाए हुए भवन में याजक का काम करता था)।
11 Azariah was the father of Amariah. Amariah was the father of Ahitub.
११अजर्याह से अमर्याह, अमर्याह से अहीतूब,
12 Ahitub was the father of Zadok. Zadok was the father of Shallum.
१२अहीतूब से सादोक, सादोक से शल्लूम,
13 Shallum was the father of Hilkiah. Hilkiah was the father of Azariah.
१३शल्लूम से हिल्किय्याह, हिल्किय्याह से अजर्याह,
14 Azariah was the father of Seraiah. Seraiah was the father of Jehozadak.
१४अजर्याह से सरायाह, और सरायाह से यहोसादाक उत्पन्न हुआ।
15 Jehozadak was forced to leave his home when Yahweh sent [King] Nebuchadnezzar’s [army] [MTY] to capture many people in Jerusalem and other places in Judah and compel them [to go to Babylonia].
१५और जब यहोवा, यहूदा और यरूशलेम को नबूकदनेस्सर के द्वारा बन्दी बना करके ले गया, तब यहोसादाक भी बन्धुआ होकर गया।
16 Levi’s sons were Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
१६लेवी के पुत्र गेर्शोम, कहात और मरारी।
17 Gershon’s sons were Libni and Shimei.
१७और गेर्शोम के पुत्रों के नाम ये थे, अर्थात् लिब्नी और शिमी।
18 Kohath’s sons were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
१८और कहात के पुत्र अम्राम, यिसहार, हेब्रोन और उज्जीएल।
19 Merari’s sons were Mahli and Mushi. Here is a list of the descendants of Levi, who became leaders of their clans.
१९और मरारी के पुत्र महली और मूशी। अपने-अपने पितरों के घरानों के अनुसार लेवियों के कुल ये हुए।
20 Gershon’s [oldest] son was Libni. Libni’s son was Jehath. Jehath’s son was Zimmah.
२०अर्थात्, गेर्शोम का पुत्र लिब्नी हुआ, लिब्नी का यहत, यहत का जिम्मा।
21 Zimmah’s son was Joah. Joah’s son was Iddo. Iddo’s son was Zerah. Zerah’s son was Jeatherai.
२१जिम्मा का योआह, योआह का इद्दो, इद्दो का जेरह, और जेरह का पुत्र यातरै हुआ।
22 Kohath’s [other] son was Amminadab. Amminadab’s son was Korah. Korah’s son was Assir.
२२फिर कहात का पुत्र अम्मीनादाब हुआ, अम्मीनादाब का कोरह, कोरह का अस्सीर,
23 Assir’s son was Elkanah. Elkanah’s son was Ebiasaph. Ebiasaph’s son was Assir.
२३अस्सीर का एल्काना, एल्काना का एब्यासाप, एब्यासाप का अस्सीर,
24 Assir’s son was Tahath. Tahath’s son was Uriel. Uriel’s son was Uzziah. Uzziah’s son was Shaul.
२४अस्सीर का तहत, तहत का ऊरीएल, ऊरीएल का उज्जियाह और उज्जियाह का पुत्र शाऊल हुआ।
25 Elkanah’s [other] sons were Amasai and Ahimoth.
२५फिर एल्काना के पुत्र अमासै और अहीमोत।
26 Ahimoth’s son was Elkanah. Elkanah’s son was Zophai. Zophai’s son was Nahath.
२६एल्काना का पुत्र सोपै, सोपै का नहत,
27 Nahath’s son was Eliab. Eliab’s son was Jeroham. Jeroham’s son was Elkanah. Elkanah’s son was Samuel.
२७नहत का एलीआब, एलीआब का यरोहाम, और यरोहाम का पुत्र एल्काना हुआ।
28 Samuel’s oldest son was Joel; his other son was Abijah.
२८शमूएल के पुत्र: उसका जेठा योएल और दूसरा अबिय्याह हुआ।
29 Merari’s oldest son was Mahli. Mahli’s son was Libni. Libni’s son was Shimei. Shimei’s son was Uzzah.
२९फिर मरारी का पुत्र महली, महली का लिब्नी, लिब्नी का शिमी, शिमी का उज्जा।
30 Uzzah’s son was Shimea. Shimea’s son was Haggiah. Haggiah’s son was Asaiah.
३०उज्जा का शिमा; शिमा का हग्गिय्याह और हग्गिय्याह का पुत्र असायाह हुआ।
31 After the Sacred Chest was brought [to Jerusalem, King] David appointed some of the men who were descendants of Levi to be in charge of the music in [the Sacred Tent where the people worshiped] Yahweh.
३१फिर जिनको दाऊद ने सन्दूक के भवन में रखे जाने के बाद, यहोवा के भवन में गाने का अधिकारी ठहरा दिया वे ये हैं।
32 Those musicians first sang and played their instruments in the Sacred Tent, which was also called the Tent of Meeting, and they continued to do that until Solomon’s [workers] built the temple of Yahweh in Jerusalem. In all their work, they obeyed the instructions [that David had given them].
३२जब तक सुलैमान यरूशलेम में यहोवा के भवन को बनवा न चुका, तब तक वे मिलापवाले तम्बू के निवास के सामने गाने के द्वारा सेवा करते थे; और इस सेवा में नियम के अनुसार उपस्थित हुआ करते थे।
33 Here is a list of the musicians and their sons: From Kohath’s descendants there was Heman, the leader of the singers. Heman was the son of Joel. Joel was the son of Samuel.
३३जो अपने-अपने पुत्रों समेत उपस्थित हुआ करते थे वे ये हैं, अर्थात् कहातियों में से हेमान गवैया जो योएल का पुत्र था, और योएल शमूएल का,
34 Samuel was the son of Elkanah. Elkanah was the son of Jeroham. Jeroham was the son of Eliel. Eliel was the son of Toah.
३४शमूएल एल्काना का, एल्काना यरोहाम का, यरोहाम एलीएल का, एलीएल तोह का,
35 Toah was the son of Zuph. Zuph was the son of Elkanah. Elkanah was the son of Mahath. Mahath was the son of Amasai.
३५तोह सूफ का, सूफ एल्काना का, एल्काना महत का, महत अमासै का,
36 Amasai was the son of [another man whose name was] Elkanah. Elkanah was the son of Joel. Joel was the son of Azariah. Azariah was the son of Zephaniah.
३६अमासै एल्काना का, एल्काना योएल का, योएल अजर्याह का, अजर्याह सपन्याह का,
37 Zephaniah was the son of Tahath. Tahath was the son of Assir. Assir was the son of Ebiasaph. Ebiasaph was the son of Korah.
३७सपन्याह तहत का, तहत अस्सीर का, अस्सीर एब्यासाप का, एब्यासाप कोरह का,
38 Korah was the son of Izhar. Izhar was the son of Kohath. Kohath was the son of Levi. Levi was the son of Jacob.
३८कोरह यिसहार का, यिसहार कहात का, कहात लेवी का और लेवी इस्राएल का पुत्र था।
39 Heman’s helper was Asaph. His group [of singers] stood at the right side of Heman. Asaph was the son of Berekiah. Berekiah was the son of Shimea.
३९और उसका भाई आसाप जो उसके दाहिने खड़ा हुआ करता था वह बेरेक्याह का पुत्र था, और बेरेक्याह शिमा का,
40 Shimea was the son of Michael. Michael was the son of Baaseiah. Baaseiah was the son of Malkijah.
४०शिमा मीकाएल का, मीकाएल बासेयाह का, बासेयाह मल्किय्याह का,
41 Malkijah was the son of Ethni. Ethni was the son of Zerah. Zerah was the son of Adaiah.
४१मल्किय्याह एत्नी का, एत्नी जेरह का, जेरह अदायाह का,
42 Adaiah was the son of Ethan. Ethan was the son of Zimmah. Zimmah was the son of Shimei.
४२अदायाह एतान का, एतान जिम्मा का, जिम्मा शिमी का,
43 Shimei was the son of Jahath. Jahath was the son of Gershon, and Gershon was the son of Levi.
४३शिमी यहत का, यहत गेर्शोम का, गेर्शोम लेवी का पुत्र था।
44 [A group of singers from] Merari’s family helped Heman and Asaph. They stood to the left of Heman. The leader of this group was Ethan, the son of Kishi. Kishi was the son of Abdi. Abdi was the son of Malluch.
४४और बाईं ओर उनके भाई मरारी खड़े होते थे, अर्थात् एतान जो कीशी का पुत्र था, और कीशी अब्दी का, अब्दी मल्लूक का,
45 Malluch was the son of Hashabiah. Hashabiah was the son of Amaziah. Amaziah was the son of Hilkiah.
४५मल्लूक हशब्याह का, हशब्याह अमस्याह का, अमस्याह हिल्किय्याह का,
46 Hilkiah was the son of Amzi. Amzi was the son of Bani. Bani was the son of Shemer.
४६हिल्किय्याह अमसी का, अमसी बानी का, बानी शेमेर का,
47 Shemer was the son of Mahli. Mahli was the son of Mushi. Mushi was the son of Merari, and Merari was the son of Levi.
४७शेमेर महली का, महली मूशी का, मूशी मरारी का, और मरारी लेवी का पुत्र था;
48 The other descendants of Levi were appointed to do other work in the sacred tent, the place [where the people worshiped] Yahweh.
४८और इनके भाई जो लेवीय थे वे परमेश्वर के भवन के निवास की सब प्रकार की सेवा के लिये अर्पण किए हुए थे।
49 Aaron and his descendants were the ones who placed on the altar the sacrifices that were to be burned completely, and they burned incense on another altar. Those sacrifices were in order that Yahweh would no longer be angry with the people of Israel for having sinned. Those men also did other work in the Very Holy Place in the sacred tent, obeying the instructions that Moses, who served God [well], had given to them.
४९परन्तु हारून और उसके पुत्र होमबलि की वेदी, और धूप की वेदी दोनों पर बलिदान चढ़ाते, और परमपवित्र स्थान का सब काम करते, और इस्राएलियों के लिये प्रायश्चित करते थे, जैसे कि परमेश्वर के दास मूसा ने आज्ञाएँ दी थीं।
50 These were the descendants of Aaron: Aaron’s son was Eleazar. Eleazar’s son was Phinehas. Phinehas’s son was Abishua.
५०और हारून के वंश में ये हुए: अर्थात् उसका पुत्र एलीआजर हुआ, और एलीआजर का पीनहास, पीनहास का अबीशू,
51 Abishua’s son was Bukki. Bukki’s son was Uzzi. Uzzi’s son was Zerahiah.
५१अबीशू का बुक्की, बुक्की का उज्जी, उज्जी का जरहयाह,
52 Zerahiah’s son was Meraioth. Meraioth’s son was Amariah. Amariah’s son was Ahitub.
५२जरहयाह का मरायोत, मरायोत का अमर्याह, अमर्याह का अहीतूब,
53 Ahitub’s son was Zadok, and Zadok’s son was Ahimaaz.
५३अहीतूब का सादोक और सादोक का अहीमास पुत्र हुआ।
54 Here is a list of the places where Aaron’s descendants lived. Those who were descendants of Kohath were the first group to be allotted cities to live in.
५४उनके भागों में उनकी छावनियों के अनुसार उनकी बस्तियाँ ये हैं अर्थात् कहात के कुलों में से पहली चिट्ठी जो हारून की सन्तान के नाम पर निकली;
55 They were allotted Hebron [city] in Judah and the pastureland around the city,
५५अर्थात् चारों ओर की चराइयों समेत यहूदा देश का हेब्रोन उन्हें मिला।
56 but the fields farther from the city and the villages near the city were given to Caleb, the son of Jephunneh.
५६परन्तु उस नगर के खेत और गाँव यपुन्ने के पुत्र कालेब को दिए गए।
57 The descendants of Aaron [who were descendants of Kohath] were allotted Hebron, one of the cities [to which people could flee] and be protected [if they accidentally killed someone]. They also were allotted the towns and pastureland near Libnah, Jattir, Eshtemoa,
५७और हारून की सन्तान को शरणनगर हेब्रोन, और चराइयों समेत लिब्ना, और यत्तीर और अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत एश्तमो;
58 Hilen, Debir,
५८अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत हीलेन और दबीर;
59 Ashan, Juttah, and Beth-Shemesh.
५९आशान और बेतशेमेश।
60 They were also allotted Gibeon, Geba, Alemeth, and Anathoth [cities] from the tribe of Benjamin. Altogether, these clans descended from Kohath were allotted 13 towns.
६०और बिन्यामीन के गोत्र में से अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत गेबा, आलेमेत और अनातोत दिए गए। उनके घरानों के सब नगर तेरह थे।
61 The other clans descended from Kohath were allotted ten towns from the clans of the tribe of Manasseh [that lived west of the Jordan River].
६१और शेष कहातियों के गोत्र के कुल, अर्थात् मनश्शे के आधे गोत्र में से चिट्ठी डालकर दस नगर दिए गए।
62 The descendants of Gershon were allotted 13 cities and towns from the tribes of Issachar, Asher, Naphtali, and the part of the tribe of Manasseh that lived in [the] Bashan [region on the east side of the Jordan River].
६२और गेर्शोमियों के कुलों के अनुसार उन्हें इस्साकार, आशेर और नप्ताली के गोत्र, और बाशान में रहनेवाले मनश्शे के गोत्र में से तेरह नगर मिले।
63 The descendants of Merari were allotted twelve cities and towns from the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Zebulun.
६३मरारियों के कुलों के अनुसार उन्हें रूबेन, गाद और जबूलून के गोत्रों में से चिट्ठी डालकर बारह नगर दिए गए।
64 The leaders of Israel allotted those towns and the nearby pasturelands to the descendants of Levi.
६४इस्राएलियों ने लेवियों को ये नगर चराइयों समेत दिए।
65 They also allotted to them the cities and towns from the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin that were listed previously.
६५उन्होंने यहूदियों, शिमोनियों और बिन्यामीनियों के गोत्रों में से वे नगर दिए, जिनके नाम ऊपर दिए गए हैं।
66 Some of the descendants of Kohath were allotted towns from the tribe of Ephraim.
६६और कहातियों के कई कुलों को उनके भाग के नगर एप्रैम के गोत्र में से मिले।
67 They were allotted Shechem, which was one of the cities [to which people could flee] and be protected [if they accidentally killed someone], along with the nearby pastureland in the hills of Ephraim. They were also allotted these towns and pastureland near them: Gezer,
६७सो उनको अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत एप्रैम के पहाड़ी देश का शेकेम जो शरणनगर था, फिर गेजेर,
68 Jokmeam, Beth-Horon,
६८योकमाम, बेथोरोन,
69 Aijalon, and Gath-Rimmon.
६९अय्यालोन और गत्रिम्मोन;
70 The other descendants of Kohath were allotted Aner and Bileam towns and the nearby pastureland from the part of the tribe of Manasseh that lived west [of the Jordan River].
७०और मनश्शे के आधे गोत्र में से अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत आनेर और बिलाम शेष कहातियों के कुल को मिले।
71 The descendants of Gershon, who were part of the tribe of Manasseh, lived east [of the Jordan River]. They were allotted the cities and towns and pastureland near them: Golan in [the] Bashan and Ashtaroth [regions].
७१फिर गेर्शोमियों को मनश्शे के आधे गोत्र के कुल में से तो अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत बाशान का गोलन और अश्तारोत;
72 From the tribe of Issachar they were allotted cities and towns and pastureland near Kedesh, Daberath,
७२और इस्साकार के गोत्र में से अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत केदेश, दाबरात,
73 Ramoth, and Anem.
७३रामोत और आनेम,
74 From the tribe of Asher they were allotted cities and towns and pastureland near Mashal, Abdon,
७४और आशेर के गोत्र में से अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत माशाल, अब्दोन,
75 Hukok, and Rehob.
७५हूकोक और रहोब;
76 And from the tribe of Naphtali they were allotted cities and towns and pastureland near Kedesh in [the] Galilee [region], and Hammon and Kiriathaim [towns].
७६और नप्ताली के गोत्र में से अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत गलील का केदेश हम्मोन और किर्यातैम मिले।
77 The other descendants of Levi, those descended from Merari, were allotted towns and pasturelands from the tribe of Zebulun near Jokneam, Kartah, Rimmono, and Tabor.
७७फिर शेष लेवियों अर्थात् मरारियों को जबूलून के गोत्र में से तो अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत रिम्मोन और ताबोर।
78 From the tribe of Reuben they were allotted cities and towns and pastureland near Bezer in the desert, Jahzah, Kedemoth, and Mephaath. The tribe of Reuben lived east of the Jordan [River], across from Jericho.
७८और यरीहो के पास की यरदन नदी के पूर्व ओर रूबेन के गोत्र में से तो अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत जंगल का बेसेर, यहस,
७९कदेमोत और मेपात;
80 From the tribe of Gad, they were allotted cities and towns and pastureland near Ramoth in [the] Gilead [region], [the cities of] Mahanaim,
८०और गाद के गोत्र में से अपनी-अपनी चराइयों समेत गिलाद का रामोत महनैम,
81 Heshbon, and Jazer.
८१हेशबोन और याजेर दिए गए।
