1 Levi’s sons were Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
১লেবির ছেলেরা হল গের্শোন, কহাৎ ও মরারি।
2 Kohath’s sons were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
২কহাতের ছেলেরা হল অম্রাম, যিষ্হর, হিব্রোণ ও উষীয়েল।
3 Amram’s children were Miriam and [her younger brothers] Aaron and Moses. Aaron’s sons were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
৩অম্রামের ছেলেরা হল হারোণ, মোশি ও মরিয়ম। হারোণের ছেলেরা হল নাদব, অবীহূ, ইলীয়াসর ও ঈথামর।
4 Eleazar was the father of Phinehas. Phinehas was the father of Abishua.
৪ইলীয়াসরের ছেলে পীনহস, পীনহসের ছেলে অবীশূয়,
5 Abishua was the father of Bukki. Bukki was the father of Uzzi.
৫অবীশূয়ের ছেলে বুক্কি, বুক্কির ছেলে উষি,
6 Uzzi was the father of Zerahiah. Zerahiah was the father of Meraioth.
৬উষির ছেলে সরহিয়, সরহিয়ের ছেলে মরায়োৎ,
7 Meraioth was the father of Amariah. Amariah was the father of Ahitub.
৭মরায়োতের ছেলে অমরিয়, অমরিয়ের ছেলে অহীটূব,
8 Ahitub was the father of Zadok. Zadok was the father of Ahimaaz.
৮অহীটূবের ছেলে সাদোক, সাদোকের ছেলে অহীমাস,
9 Ahimaaz was the father of Azariah. Azariah was the father of Johanan.
৯অহীমাসের ছেলে অসরিয়, অসরিয়ের ছেলে যোহানন,
10 Johanan was the father of Azariah. Azariah was a priest in the temple that Solomon commanded to be built in Jerusalem.
১০যোহাননের ছেলে অসরিয়; ইনি যিরূশালেমে শলোমনের তৈরী মন্দিরে যাজকের কাজ করতেন।
11 Azariah was the father of Amariah. Amariah was the father of Ahitub.
১১অসরিয়ের ছেলে অমরিয়, অমরিয়ের ছেলে অহীটূব,
12 Ahitub was the father of Zadok. Zadok was the father of Shallum.
১২অহীটূবের ছেলে সাদোক, সাদোকের ছেলে শল্লুম,
13 Shallum was the father of Hilkiah. Hilkiah was the father of Azariah.
১৩শল্লুমের ছেলে হিল্কিয়, হিল্কিয়ের ছেলে অসরিয়,
14 Azariah was the father of Seraiah. Seraiah was the father of Jehozadak.
১৪অসরিয়ের ছেলে সরায় এবং সরায়ের ছেলে যিহোষাদক।
15 Jehozadak was forced to leave his home when Yahweh sent [King] Nebuchadnezzar’s [army] [MTY] to capture many people in Jerusalem and other places in Judah and compel them [to go to Babylonia].
১৫সদাপ্রভু যে দিন নবূখদ্নিৎসরকে দিয়ে যিহূদা ও যিরূশালেমের লোকদের নিয়ে গেলেন, সেই দিনের এই যিহোষাদকও গেলেন।
16 Levi’s sons were Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
১৬লেবির ছেলেরা হল গের্শোম, কহাৎ ও মরারি।
17 Gershon’s sons were Libni and Shimei.
১৭গের্শোমের ছেলেদের নাম হল লিব্নি আর শিমিয়ি।
18 Kohath’s sons were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
১৮কহাতের ছেলেরা হল অম্রাম, যিষ্হর, হিব্রোণ ও উষীয়েল।
19 Merari’s sons were Mahli and Mushi. Here is a list of the descendants of Levi, who became leaders of their clans.
১৯মরারির ছেলেরা হল মহলি ও মূশি। নিজের নিজের পূর্বপুরুষদের বংশ অনুসারে এইসব লেবীয়দের গোষ্ঠী।
20 Gershon’s [oldest] son was Libni. Libni’s son was Jehath. Jehath’s son was Zimmah.
২০গের্শোমের [বংশধর]; তাঁর ছেলে লিব্নি, লিব্নির ছেলে যহৎ, যহতের ছেলে সিম্ম,
21 Zimmah’s son was Joah. Joah’s son was Iddo. Iddo’s son was Zerah. Zerah’s son was Jeatherai.
২১সিম্মের ছেলে যোয়াহ, যোয়াহের ছেলে ইদ্দো, ইদ্দোর ছেলে সেরহ, সেরহের ছেলে যিয়ত্রয়।
22 Kohath’s [other] son was Amminadab. Amminadab’s son was Korah. Korah’s son was Assir.
২২কহাতের বংশধর, তার ছেলে অম্মীনাদব, অম্মীনাদবের ছেলে কোরহ, কোরহের ছেলে অসীর,
23 Assir’s son was Elkanah. Elkanah’s son was Ebiasaph. Ebiasaph’s son was Assir.
২৩তার ছেলে ইলকানা, তার ছেলে ইবীয়াসফ, ইবীয়াসফের ছেলে অসীর,
24 Assir’s son was Tahath. Tahath’s son was Uriel. Uriel’s son was Uzziah. Uzziah’s son was Shaul.
২৪তার ছেলে তহৎ, তার ছেলে ঊরীয়েল, তার ছেলে ঊষিয়, তার ছেলে শৌল।
25 Elkanah’s [other] sons were Amasai and Ahimoth.
২৫ইলকানার ছেলেরা হল অমাসয়, অহীমোৎ ও ইলকানা
26 Ahimoth’s son was Elkanah. Elkanah’s son was Zophai. Zophai’s son was Nahath.
২৬ইলকানার ছেলে সোফী, তার ছেলে নহৎ,
27 Nahath’s son was Eliab. Eliab’s son was Jeroham. Jeroham’s son was Elkanah. Elkanah’s son was Samuel.
২৭তার ছেলে ইলীয়াব, তার ছেলে যিরোহম, তার ছেলে ইলকানা এবং তার ছেলে শমূয়েল।
28 Samuel’s oldest son was Joel; his other son was Abijah.
২৮শমূয়েলের প্রথম ছেলের নাম যোয়েল ও দ্বিতীয় ছেলের নাম অবিয়।
29 Merari’s oldest son was Mahli. Mahli’s son was Libni. Libni’s son was Shimei. Shimei’s son was Uzzah.
২৯মরারির ছেলের নাম হল মহলি, তার ছেলে লিব্নি, তার ছেলে শিমিয়ি, তার ছেলে উষঃ,
30 Uzzah’s son was Shimea. Shimea’s son was Haggiah. Haggiah’s son was Asaiah.
৩০তার ছেলে শিমিয়, তার ছেলে হগিয় এবং তার ছেলে অসায়।
31 After the Sacred Chest was brought [to Jerusalem, King] David appointed some of the men who were descendants of Levi to be in charge of the music in [the Sacred Tent where the people worshiped] Yahweh.
৩১[নিয়ম সিন্দুক] বিশ্রামস্থান পেলে পর দায়ূদ যাদেরকে সদাপ্রভুর ঘরে গানের কাজে নিযুক্ত করলেন তাদের নাম।
32 Those musicians first sang and played their instruments in the Sacred Tent, which was also called the Tent of Meeting, and they continued to do that until Solomon’s [workers] built the temple of Yahweh in Jerusalem. In all their work, they obeyed the instructions [that David had given them].
৩২শলোমন যিরূশালেমে সদাপ্রভুর ঘর তৈরী না করা পর্যন্ত সেই লোকেরা আবাস তাঁবুর সামনে, অর্থাৎ মিলন তাঁবুর সামনে গান বাজনা করে সদাপ্রভুর সেবা করত। তাদের জন্য যে নিয়ম ঠিক করে দেওয়া হয়েছিল সেই অনুসারে তারা নিজেদের কাজ করত।
33 Here is a list of the musicians and their sons: From Kohath’s descendants there was Heman, the leader of the singers. Heman was the son of Joel. Joel was the son of Samuel.
৩৩এই সেবার কাজে যে সব লোকেরা এবং তাদের বংশধরেরা নিযুক্ত হয়েছিল তারা হল: কহাতীয়দের মধ্যে ছিলেন গায়ক হেমন। তিনি ছিলেন যোয়েলের ছেলে, যোয়েল শমূয়েলের ছেলে,
34 Samuel was the son of Elkanah. Elkanah was the son of Jeroham. Jeroham was the son of Eliel. Eliel was the son of Toah.
৩৪শমূয়েল ইলকানার ছেলে, ইলকানা যিরোহমের ছেলে, যিরোহম ইলীয়েলের ছেলে, ইলীয়েল তোহের ছেলে,
35 Toah was the son of Zuph. Zuph was the son of Elkanah. Elkanah was the son of Mahath. Mahath was the son of Amasai.
৩৫তোহ সূফের ছেলে, সূফ ইলকানার ছেলে, ইলকানা মাহতের ছেলে, মাহৎ অমাসয়ের ছেলে,
36 Amasai was the son of [another man whose name was] Elkanah. Elkanah was the son of Joel. Joel was the son of Azariah. Azariah was the son of Zephaniah.
৩৬অমাসয় ইলকানার ছেলে, ইলকানা যোয়েলের ছেলে, যোয়েল অসরিয়ের ছেলে, অসরিয় সফনিয়ের ছেলে,
37 Zephaniah was the son of Tahath. Tahath was the son of Assir. Assir was the son of Ebiasaph. Ebiasaph was the son of Korah.
৩৭সফনিয় তহতের ছেলে, তহৎ অসীরের ছেলে, অসীর ইবীয়াসফের ছেলে, ইবীয়াসফ কোরহের ছেলে,
38 Korah was the son of Izhar. Izhar was the son of Kohath. Kohath was the son of Levi. Levi was the son of Jacob.
৩৮কোরহ যিষ্হরের ছেলে, যিষ্হর কহাতের ছেলে, কহাৎ লেবির ছেলে এবং লেবি ইস্রায়েলের ছেলে।
39 Heman’s helper was Asaph. His group [of singers] stood at the right side of Heman. Asaph was the son of Berekiah. Berekiah was the son of Shimea.
৩৯হেমনের সহকর্মী আসফ, তিনি তার ডান দিকে দাঁড়াত; সেই আসফ ছিলেন বেরিখিয়ের ছেলে, বেরিখিয় শিমিয়ের ছেলে,
40 Shimea was the son of Michael. Michael was the son of Baaseiah. Baaseiah was the son of Malkijah.
৪০শিমিয় মীখায়েলের ছেলে, মীখায়েল বাসেয়ের ছেলে, বাসেয় মল্কিয়ের ছেলে,
41 Malkijah was the son of Ethni. Ethni was the son of Zerah. Zerah was the son of Adaiah.
৪১মল্কিয় ইৎনির ছেলে, ইৎনি সেরহের ছেলে, সেরহ অদায়ার ছেলে,
42 Adaiah was the son of Ethan. Ethan was the son of Zimmah. Zimmah was the son of Shimei.
৪২অদায়া এথনের ছেলে, এথন সিম্মের ছেলে, সিম্ম শিমিয়ির ছেলে,
43 Shimei was the son of Jahath. Jahath was the son of Gershon, and Gershon was the son of Levi.
৪৩শিমিয়ি যহতের ছেলে, যহৎ গের্শোমের ছেলে এবং গের্শোম লেবির ছেলে।
44 [A group of singers from] Merari’s family helped Heman and Asaph. They stood to the left of Heman. The leader of this group was Ethan, the son of Kishi. Kishi was the son of Abdi. Abdi was the son of Malluch.
৪৪তাঁদের সহকর্মীরা, অর্থাৎ মরারির ছেলেরা এদের বাম দিকে দাঁড়াতেন। এথন ছিলেন কীশির ছেলে, কীশি অব্দির ছেলে, অব্দি মল্লুকের ছেলে,
45 Malluch was the son of Hashabiah. Hashabiah was the son of Amaziah. Amaziah was the son of Hilkiah.
৪৫মল্লুক হশবিয়ের ছেলে, হশবিয় অমৎসিয়ের ছেলে, অমৎসিয় হিল্কিয়ের ছেলে,
46 Hilkiah was the son of Amzi. Amzi was the son of Bani. Bani was the son of Shemer.
৪৬হিল্কিয় অমসির ছেলে, অমসি বানির ছেলে, বানি শেমরের ছেলে,
47 Shemer was the son of Mahli. Mahli was the son of Mushi. Mushi was the son of Merari, and Merari was the son of Levi.
৪৭শেমর মহলির ছেলে, মহলি মূশির ছেলে, মূশি মরারির ছেলে এবং মরারি লেবির ছেলে।
48 The other descendants of Levi were appointed to do other work in the sacred tent, the place [where the people worshiped] Yahweh.
৪৮তাঁদের সঙ্গী লেবীয়দের আবাস তাঁবুর, অর্থাৎ ঈশ্বরের গৃহের অন্যান্য সমস্ত কাজে নিযুক্ত করা হয়েছিল।
49 Aaron and his descendants were the ones who placed on the altar the sacrifices that were to be burned completely, and they burned incense on another altar. Those sacrifices were in order that Yahweh would no longer be angry with the people of Israel for having sinned. Those men also did other work in the Very Holy Place in the sacred tent, obeying the instructions that Moses, who served God [well], had given to them.
৪৯কিন্তু হারোণ ও তাঁর ছেলেরা ঈশ্বরের দাস মোশির সমস্ত আদেশ অনুসারে হোমযজ্ঞ বেদী ও ধূপবেদীর ওপরে উপহার দাহ করতেন এবং মহাপবিত্র স্থানে যা কিছু করবার দরকার তা করতেন আর ইস্রায়েলের পাপ মোচনের জন্য ব্যবস্থা করতেন।
50 These were the descendants of Aaron: Aaron’s son was Eleazar. Eleazar’s son was Phinehas. Phinehas’s son was Abishua.
৫০হারোণের বংশ তালিকাটি এই হারোণের ছেলে ইলীয়াসর, ইলীয়াসরের ছেলে পীনহস, পীনহসের ছেলে অবীশূয়,
51 Abishua’s son was Bukki. Bukki’s son was Uzzi. Uzzi’s son was Zerahiah.
৫১অবীশূয়ের ছেলে বুক্কি, বুক্কির ছেলে উষি, উষির ছেলে সরহিয়,
52 Zerahiah’s son was Meraioth. Meraioth’s son was Amariah. Amariah’s son was Ahitub.
৫২সরহিয়ের ছেলে মরায়োৎ, মরায়োতের ছেলে অমরিয়, অমরিয়ের ছেলে অহীটূব,
53 Ahitub’s son was Zadok, and Zadok’s son was Ahimaaz.
৫৩অহীটূবের ছেলে সাদোক এবং সাদোকের ছেলে অহীমাস।
54 Here is a list of the places where Aaron’s descendants lived. Those who were descendants of Kohath were the first group to be allotted cities to live in.
৫৪আর তাঁদের সীমার মধ্যে শিবির স্থাপন অনুযায়ী এইসব তাঁদের বাসস্থান; কহাতীয় হারোণের বংশের লোকদের জন্য প্রথম গুলিবাঁট করা হল।
55 They were allotted Hebron [city] in Judah and the pastureland around the city,
৫৫ফলে, তাঁদেরকে যিহূদা এলাকার আশ্রয় শহর হিব্রোণ ও তার চারপাশের পশু চরাবার মাঠ দেওয়া হল।
56 but the fields farther from the city and the villages near the city were given to Caleb, the son of Jephunneh.
৫৬কিন্তু শহরের চারপাশের ক্ষেত খামার ও গ্রামগুলো দেওয়া হয়েছিল যিফুন্নির ছেলে কালেবকে।
57 The descendants of Aaron [who were descendants of Kohath] were allotted Hebron, one of the cities [to which people could flee] and be protected [if they accidentally killed someone]. They also were allotted the towns and pastureland near Libnah, Jattir, Eshtemoa,
৫৭আর হারোণের ছেলেদের আশ্রয় শহর হিব্রোণ, আর পশু চরাবার মাঠের সঙ্গে লিব্না এবং যত্তীর ও পশু চরাবার মাঠের সঙ্গে ইষ্টিমোয়,
58 Hilen, Debir,
৫৮পশু চরাবার মাঠের সঙ্গে হিলেন, পশু চরাবার মাঠের সঙ্গে দবীর,
59 Ashan, Juttah, and Beth-Shemesh.
৫৯এছাড়াও হারোনের বংশধরদের পশু চরাবার মাঠের সঙ্গে আশন ও বৈৎ-শেমশ দেওয়া হল;
60 They were also allotted Gibeon, Geba, Alemeth, and Anathoth [cities] from the tribe of Benjamin. Altogether, these clans descended from Kohath were allotted 13 towns.
৬০বিন্যামীন গোষ্ঠীর জায়গা থেকে তাঁদের দেওয়া হল গেবা, আলেমৎ, অনাথোৎ ও এগুলোর চারপাশের পশু চরাবার মাঠ। মোট তেরোটা শহর ও গ্রাম কহাতীয় বংশগুলো পেয়েছিল।
61 The other clans descended from Kohath were allotted ten towns from the clans of the tribe of Manasseh [that lived west of the Jordan River].
৬১মনঃশি গোষ্ঠীর অর্ধেক লোকদের এলাকা থেকে দশটা শহর ও গ্রাম গুলিবাঁট অনুসারে কহাতের বাকি বংশের লোকদের দেওয়া হল।
62 The descendants of Gershon were allotted 13 cities and towns from the tribes of Issachar, Asher, Naphtali, and the part of the tribe of Manasseh that lived in [the] Bashan [region on the east side of the Jordan River].
৬২বংশ অনুসারে গের্শোমের বংশের লোকদের দেওয়া হল ইষাখর, আশের, নপ্তালি এবং বাশনের মনঃশি গোষ্ঠীর এলাকা থেকে তেরোটা শহর ও গ্রাম।
63 The descendants of Merari were allotted twelve cities and towns from the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Zebulun.
৬৩রূবেণ, গাদ ও সবূলূন গোষ্ঠীর এলাকা থেকে গুলিবাঁট করে বারোটা শহর ও বংশ অনুসারে মরারির বংশের লোকদের দেওয়া হল।
64 The leaders of Israel allotted those towns and the nearby pasturelands to the descendants of Levi.
৬৪এই ভাবে ইস্রায়েলীয়েরা এই সব শহর ও সেগুলোর পশু চরাবার মাঠ লেবীয়দের দিল।
65 They also allotted to them the cities and towns from the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin that were listed previously.
৬৫যিহূদা, শিমিয়োন ও বিন্যামীন গোষ্ঠীর এলাকা থেকে যে সব শহরের নাম উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে সেগুলোও গুলিবাঁট অনুসারে দেওয়া হয়েছিল।
66 Some of the descendants of Kohath were allotted towns from the tribe of Ephraim.
৬৬কহাতীয়দের কোনো কোনো গোষ্ঠী ইফ্রয়িম গোষ্ঠীর থেকে কতগুলো শহর দেওয়া হয়েছিল।
67 They were allotted Shechem, which was one of the cities [to which people could flee] and be protected [if they accidentally killed someone], along with the nearby pastureland in the hills of Ephraim. They were also allotted these towns and pastureland near them: Gezer,
৬৭ইফ্রয়িমের পার্বত্য অঞ্চল থেকে আশ্রয় নগর শিখিম
68 Jokmeam, Beth-Horon,
৬৮গেষর, যক্মিয়াম, বৈৎ-হোরোণ,
69 Aijalon, and Gath-Rimmon.
৬৯অয়ালোন ও গাৎ রিম্মোণ এবং এগুলোর চারপাশের পশু চরাবার মাঠ তাদের দেওয়া হল।
70 The other descendants of Kohath were allotted Aner and Bileam towns and the nearby pastureland from the part of the tribe of Manasseh that lived west [of the Jordan River].
৭০এছাড়া মনঃশি গোষ্ঠীর অর্ধেক লোকদের এলাকা থেকে আনের ও বিল্য়ম এবং সেগুলোর চারপাশের পশু চরাবার মাঠ কহাতের বাকি বংশগুলোকে দেওয়া হল।
71 The descendants of Gershon, who were part of the tribe of Manasseh, lived east [of the Jordan River]. They were allotted the cities and towns and pastureland near them: Golan in [the] Bashan and Ashtaroth [regions].
৭১গের্শোমীয়েরা মনঃশি গোষ্ঠীর অর্ধেক লোকদের এলাকা থেকে পশু চরাবার মাঠ সমেত বাশনের গোলন ও অষ্টারোৎ পেল;
72 From the tribe of Issachar they were allotted cities and towns and pastureland near Kedesh, Daberath,
৭২তারা ইষাখর গোষ্ঠীর এলাকা থেকে পেল কেদশ,
73 Ramoth, and Anem.
৭৩দাবরৎ, রামোৎ ও আনেম এবং এগুলোর চারপাশের পশু চরাবার মাঠ।
74 From the tribe of Asher they were allotted cities and towns and pastureland near Mashal, Abdon,
৭৪আশের গোষ্ঠীর এলাকা থেকে তারা পশু চরাবার মাঠ সমেত মশাল, আব্দোন,
75 Hukok, and Rehob.
৭৫হূকোক পশু চরাবার মাঠ ও রহোব পশু চরাবার মাঠ সমেত পেল;
76 And from the tribe of Naphtali they were allotted cities and towns and pastureland near Kedesh in [the] Galilee [region], and Hammon and Kiriathaim [towns].
৭৬নপ্তালি গোষ্ঠীর এলাকা থেকে পেল পশু চরাবার মাঠ সমেত গালীলের কেদশ, হম্মোন ও কিরিয়াথয়িম।
77 The other descendants of Levi, those descended from Merari, were allotted towns and pasturelands from the tribe of Zebulun near Jokneam, Kartah, Rimmono, and Tabor.
৭৭বাকি লেবীয়েরা, অর্থাৎ মরারীয়েরা সবূলূন গোষ্ঠীর এলাকা থেকে পশু চরাবার মাঠ সমেত রিম্মোণ ও তাবোর পেল;
78 From the tribe of Reuben they were allotted cities and towns and pastureland near Bezer in the desert, Jahzah, Kedemoth, and Mephaath. The tribe of Reuben lived east of the Jordan [River], across from Jericho.
৭৮তারা যিরীহোর পূর্ব দিকে যর্দ্দনের ওপারে রূবেণ গোষ্ঠীর এলাকা থেকে মরু এলাকার বেৎসর, যাহসা,
৭৯কদেমোৎ ও মেফাৎ;
80 From the tribe of Gad, they were allotted cities and towns and pastureland near Ramoth in [the] Gilead [region], [the cities of] Mahanaim,
৮০তারা গাদ গোষ্ঠীর এলাকা থেকে পেল গিলিয়দের রামোৎ,
81 Heshbon, and Jazer.
৮১মহনয়িম, হিষ্বোণ ও যাসের এবং এগুলোর চারপাশের পশু চরাবার মাঠ।
