1 This is a list of the Israeli men who served the king in the army. Some were leaders of families, some were commanders of 100 men, some were commanders of 1,000 men, and some were their officers. There were 24,000 men [DOU] in each group. Each group served one month of each year.
Ang mga anak nga ni Israel ayon sa kanilang bilang, sa makatuwid baga'y ang mga pangulo ng mga sangbahayan ng mga magulang at ang mga pinunong kawal ng lilibuhin at ng dadaanin, at ang kanilang mga pinuno na nangaglilingkod sa hari, sa anomang bagay sa mga bahagi ng pumapasok at lumalabas buwan-buwan sa lahat ng mga buwan ng taon, sa bawa't bahagi ay dalawang pu't apat na libo.
2 Jashobeam, the son of Zabdiel, was in charge of the group that served during the first month [of each year].
Sa unang pagka bahagi na ukol sa unang buwan ay si Jasobam na anak ni Zabdiel: at sa kaniyang bahagi ay dalawang pu't apat na libo.
3 He was a descendant of Perez, and he was the commander of all the army officers during the first month of each year.
Siya'y sa mga anak ni Phares, na pinuno sa lahat na punong kawal ng hukbo na ukol sa unang buwan.
4 Dodai, from the clan of Ahohi, was the commander of the group that served during the following/second month of each year. Mikloth was his (assistant/chief officer).
At sa bahagi sa ikalawang buwan ay si Dodai na Ahohita, at ang kaniyang bahagi, at si Miclot na tagapamahala: at sa kaniyang bahagi ay dalawang pu't apat na libo.
5 Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada the Supreme Priest, was the commander of the group that served during the following/third month.
Ang ikatlong pinuno ng pulutong na ukol sa ikatlong buwan ay si Benaias, na anak ni Joiada na saserdote, pinuno: at sa kaniyang bahagi ay dalawang pu't apat na libo.
6 He was the one who was a mighty warrior among David’s thirty greatest soldiers, and he was their leader. His son Ammizabad was his assistant.
Ito yaong Benaias na siyang makapangyarihang lalake sa tatlong pu, at pinuno sa tatlong pu; at sa kaniyang bahagi ay si Amisabad na kaniyang anak.
7 Asahel, Joab’s [younger] brother, was [the commander of the group that served] during the following/fourth month. Asahel’s son Zebadiah became the commander after Asahel [was killed].
Ang ikaapat na pinuno sa ikaapat na buwan ay si Asael na kapatid ni Joab, at si Zebadias na kaniyang kapatid ang sumusunod sa kaniya: at sa kaniyang bahagi ay dalawang pu't apat na libo.
8 The commander for the following/fifth month was Shamhuth, a descendant of Izrah.
Ang ikalimang pinuno sa ikalimang buwan ay si Sambuth na Izrita: at sa kaniyang bahagi ay dalawang pu't apat na libo.
9 The commander for the following/sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh from Tekoa [town].
Ang ikaanim na pinuno sa ikaanim na buwan ay si Ira na anak ni Icces na Tecoita: at sa kaniyang bahagi ay dalawang pu't apat na libo.
10 The commander for the following/seventh month was Helez, a member of the Pelon [clan] from the tribe of Ephraim.
Ang ikapitong pinuno sa ikapitong buwan ay si Helles na Pelonita, sa mga anak ni Ephraim: at sa kanilang bahagi ay dalawang pu't apat na libo.
11 The commander for the following/eighth month was Sibbecai, a descendant of Zerah from Hushah [town].
Ang ikawalong pinuno sa ikawalong buwan ay si Sibbecai na Husatita, sa mga Zarahita; at sa kaniyang bahagi ay dalawang pu't apat na libo.
12 The commander for the following/ninth month was Abiezer from Anathoth [city] in the tribe of Benjamin.
Ang ikasiyam na pinuno sa ikasiyam na buwan ay si Abiezer na Anathothita sa mga Benjamita; at sa kaniyang bahagi ay dalawang pu't apat na libo.
13 The commander for the following/tenth month was Maharai, a descendant of Zerah from Netophath [town].
Ang ikasangpung pinuno sa ikasangpung buwan ay si Maharai na Nethophathita sa mga Zarahita: at sa kaniyang bahagi ay dalawang pu't apat na libo.
14 The commander for the following/eleventh month was Benaiah from Pirathon [town] in the tribe of Ephraim.
Ang ikalabing isang pinuno sa ikalabing isang buwan ay si Benaias na Piratonita, sa mga anak ni Ephraim: at sa kaniyang bahagi ay dalawang pu't apat na libo.
15 The commander for the last month [of each year] was Heldai, a descendant of Othniel from Netophath [town].
Ang ikalabing dalawang pinuno sa ikalabing dalawang buwan ay si Heldai na Nethophatita, sa Othniel: at sa kaniyang bahagi ay dalawang pu't apat na libo.
16 This is a list of the administrators of the [twelve] tribes [DOU] of Israel: Eliezer, the son of Zicri, was the administrator of the tribe of Reuben. Shephatiah, the son of Maacah, was the administrator of the tribe of Simeon.
Bukod dito'y sa mga lipi ng Israel: sa mga Rubenita, si Eliezer, na anak ni Zichri, na tagapamahala; sa mga Simeonita, si Sephatias na anak ni Maacha.
17 Hashabiah, the son of Kemuel, was the administrator of the tribe of Levi. Zadok was the administrator of the tribe of Aaron.
Sa Levi, si Hasabias, na anak ni Camuel; sa Aaron, si Sadoc;
18 Elihu, David’s [older] brother, was the administrator of the tribe of Judah. Omri, the son of Michael, was the administrator of the tribe of Issachar.
Sa Juda, si Eliu, isa sa mga kapatid ni David; sa Issachar, si Omri na anak ni Michael:
19 Ishmaiah, the son of Obadiah, was the administrator of the tribe of Zebulun. Jerimoth, the son of Azriel, was the administrator of the tribe of Naphtali.
Sa Zabulon, si Ismaias na anak ni Abdias: sa Nephtali, si Jerimoth na anak ni Azriel:
20 Hoshea, the son of Azaziah, was the administrator of the tribe of Ephraim. Joel, the son of Pedaiah, was the administrator of the tribe of the [western] half of the tribe of Manasseh.
Sa mga anak ni Ephraim, si Oseas na anak ni Azazia: sa kalahating lipi ni Manases, si Joel na anak ni Pedaia:
21 Iddo, the son of Zechariah, was the administrator of the [eastern] half of the tribe of Manasseh, in [the] Gilead [region]. Jaasiel, the son of Abner, was the administrator of the tribe of Benjamin.
Sa kalahating lipi ni Manases sa Galaad, si Iddo na anak ni Zacharias: sa Benjamin, si Jaaciel na anak ni Abner.
22 Azarel, the son of Jeroham, was the administrator of the tribe of Dan. Those were the leaders over the tribes of Israel.
Sa Dan, si Azarael na anak ni Jeroam. Ang mga ito ang mga pinunong kawal ng mga lipi ng Israel.
23 [When] David [told Joab to count the men of Israel, he] did not [tell him to] count the men who were less then 20 years old, because Yahweh had promised [many years previously] that there would be as many [people] in Israel as there are stars in the sky.
Nguni't hindi tinuos ni David ang bilang nila mula sa dalawang pung taon na paibaba: sapagka't sinabi ng Panginoon na kaniyang pararamihin ang Israel na gaya ng mga bituin sa langit.
24 Joab [and his helpers] started to count the men of Israel, but they did not finish counting them [because Joab knew that Yahweh was angry about their being counted]. Yahweh punished [MTY] the people of Israel because of this counting, and as a result the total number of Israeli men [able to serve in the army] was not written on the scroll about King David’s [rule].
Si Joab na anak ni Sarvia ay nagpasimulang bumilang, nguni't hindi natapos; at dumating sa Israel ang pag-iinit dahil dito: ni hindi nalagda ang bilang sa mga alaala ng haring David.
25 Azmaveth, the son of Adiel, was in charge of the king’s storehouses. Jonathan, the son of Uzziah, was is charge of the storehouses in various towns and villages in Israel, and also in charge of the watchtowers.
At nasa mga ingatang-yaman ng hari, si Azmaveth na anak ni Adiel: at sa mga ingatang-yaman sa mga bukid, sa mga bayan, at sa mga nayon, at sa mga kastilyo ay si Jonathan na anak ni Uzzias:
26 Ezri the son of Kelub was in charge of the workers who farmed the land [that belonged to the king].
At sa nagsisigawa sa bukiran, na ukol sa pagbubukid sa lupa ay si Izri na anak ni Chelud:
27 Shimei from Ramath [town] was in charge of the king’s vineyards. Zabdi from Shepham [town] was in charge of storing the wine from the [grapes produced in] vineyards.
At sa mga ubasan ay si Simi na Ramathita: at sa mga pakinabang sa mga ubasan na ukol sa mga kamalig ng alak ay si Zabdias na Siphmita:
28 Baal-Hanan from Geder [city] was in charge of storing the olive oil.
At sa mga puno ng olibo at sa mga puno ng sikomoro na nangasa mababang lupa ay si Baal-hanan na Gederita: at sa mga kamalig ng langis ay si Joas:
29 Shitrai from the Sharon Plain was in charge of the herds of cattle that (grazed/ate grass) there. Shaphat the son of Adlai was in charge of the cattle in the valleys.
At sa mga bakahan na pinasasabsab sa Saron ay si Sitrai na Saronita: at sa mga bakahan na nangasa mga libis ay si Saphat na anak ni Adlai:
30 Obil, a descendant of Ishmael, was in charge of the camels. Jehdeiah from Meronoth [town] was in charge of the donkeys.
At sa mga kamelyo ay si Obil na Ismaelita: at sa mga asno ay si Jedias na Meronothita: At sa mga kawan ay si Jaziz na Hagrita.
31 Jaziz, a descendant of Hagar, was in charge of the [king’s] flocks of sheep. All of those officials were in charge of the things that belonged to King David.
Lahat ng mga ito'y mga katiwala sa mga pag-aari ng haring David.
32 David’s uncle Jonathan was a wise counselor for him. Jehiel, the son of Hacmoni, taught the king’s sons.
At si Jonathan na amain ni David ay kasangguni at lalaking matalino, at kalihim; at si Jehiel na anak ni Hacmoni ay nasa mga anak ng hari:
33 Ahithophel was the king’s official counselor.
At si Achitophel ay kasangguni ng hari: at si Husai na Archita ay kaibigan ng hari:
34 Hushai from the Ark people-group was the king’s special friend. Benaiah’s son Jehoiada became the king’s advisor after Ahithophel died, and later Abiathar became his advisor. Joab was the chief commander of the army.
At sumusunod kay Achitophel ay si Joiada na anak ni Benaias, at si Abiathar: at ang pinunong kawal sa hukbo ng hari ay si Joab.
