1 Chronicles 25
1 David and some of the temple officials (OR, army commanders) chose some of the descendants of Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun to be in charge of proclaiming God’s messages, and to play harps and lyres and cymbals. This is a list of the men whom they chose for that work:
| داوود پادشاه و رهبران قوم اشخاصی را از خاندان آساف و هیمان و یِدوتون انتخاب کردند تا به همراهی بربط و عود و سنج پیامهای خدا را اعلان کنند. اسامی آنها و نوع خدمتشان به شرح زیر است: |
2 From the sons of Asaph they chose Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Aserelah. Asaph supervised them. And the king appointed Asaph to proclaim God’s messages.
| زکور، یوسف، نتنیا و اشرئیله (پسران آساف) که تحت سرپرستی آساف بودند. آساف به دستور پادشاه، پیام خداوند را اعلان می‌کرد؛ |
3 From the sons of Jeduthun they chose six men: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah. Jeduthun supervised them and also proclaimed God’s messages, playing his harp while he thanked and praised Yahweh.
| جدلیا، صری، اشعیا، حشبیا و مَتّیتیا (پسران یِدوتون) که به سرپرستی پدرشان و با نوای چنگ پیام خداوند را اعلان می‌کردند و او را با سرود ستایش می‌نمودند؛ |
4 From the sons of Heman, who was one of the king’s prophets, they chose Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shubael, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.
| هیمان: بقیا، متنیا، عزی‌ئیل، شبوئیل، یریموت، حننیا، حنانی، الیاته، جدلتی، روممتی عزر، یشبقاشه، ملوتی، هوتیر و محزیوت (پسران هیمان). |
5 God promised to cause Heman to be strong, so altogether, God have him 14 sons and three daughters.
| خدا این چهارده پسر را به هیمان که نبی مخصوص پادشاه بود، بخشیده بود تا طبق وعده‌اش به هیمان به او عزت و قدرت داده باشد. هیمان سه دختر نیز داشت. |
6 All those men were supervised by their fathers while they played music in the temple of Yahweh. They played cymbals, lyres, and harps. And their fathers—Asaph, Jeduthun and Heman—were supervised by the king.
| تمام این مردان به سرپرستی پدرانشان در خانهٔ خداوند سنج و عود و بربط می‌نواختند و به این ترتیب خدا را خدمت می‌کردند. آساف و یِدوتون و هیمان مستقیما از پادشاه دستور می‌گرفتند. |
7 Those men and their relatives were all trained and skilled for playing musical instruments in the temple. That was their work for Yahweh. Including their relatives, there were 288 of them.
| تمام این افراد و لاویانی که با ایشان همکاری می‌کردند برای سراییدن در وصف خداوند تربیت شده و در نواختن سازها ماهر بودند. تعداد کل گروه آنها ۲۸۸ نفر بود. |
8 All of them, including ones who were young and those who were old, cast lots to determine what work they would do.
| وظایف مخصوص سرایندگان، بدون در نظر گرفتن سن و تجربه، به قید قرعه تعیین شد. |
9 From the family of Asaph, the first ones selected were Joseph and 12 of his sons and relatives.
| قرعهٔ اول به نام یوسف از خاندان آساف افتاد. دوم: جدلیا و پسران و برادرانش، ۱۲ نفر؛ سوم: زکور و پسران و برادرانش، ۱۲ نفر؛ چهارم: یصری و پسران و برادران او، ۱۲ نفر؛ پنجم: نتنیا و پسران و برادران وی، ۱۲ نفر؛ ششم: بقیا و پسران و برادران او، ۱۲ نفر؛ هفتم: یشرئیله و پسران و برادرانش، ۱۲ نفر؛ هشتم: اشعیا و پسران و برادران او، ۱۲ نفر؛ نهم: متنیا و پسران و برادرانش، ۱۲ نفر؛ دهم: شمعی و پسران و برادران وی، ۱۲ نفر؛ یازدهم: عزی‌ئیل و پسران و برادران او، ۱۲ نفر؛ دوازدهم: حشبیا و پسران و برادران او، ۱۲ نفر؛ سیزدهم: شبوئیل و پسران و برادرانش، ۱۲ نفر؛ چهاردهم: مَتّیتیا و پسران و برادران وی، ۱۲ نفر؛ پانزدهم: یریموت و پسران و برادران او، ۱۲ نفر؛ شانزدهم: حننیا و پسران و برادران او، ۱۲ نفر؛ هفدهم: یشبقاشه و پسران و برادران وی، ۱۲ نفر؛ هجدهم: حنانی و پسران و برادرانش، ۱۲ نفر؛ نوزدهم: ملوتی و پسران و برادران وی، ۱۲ نفر؛ بیستم: ایلیاته و پسران و برادران او، ۱۲ نفر؛ بیست و یکم: هوتیر و پسران و برادرانش، ۱۲ نفر؛ بیست و دوم: جدلتی و پسران و برادران او، ۱۲ نفر؛ بیست و سوم، محزیوت و پسران و برادران او، ۱۲ نفر؛ بیست و چهارم، روممتی عزر و پسران و برادرانش، ۱۲ نفر. |
10 Next, Gedaliah and 12 of his sons and relatives were selected.
11 Next, Zaccur and 12 of his sons and relatives were selected.
12 Next, Nethaniah and 12 of his sons and relatives were selected.
13 Next, Bukkiah and 12 of his sons and relatives were selected.
14 Next, Jesarelah and 12 of his sons and relatives were selected.
15 Next, Jeshaiah and 12 of his sons and relatives were selected.
16 Next, Mattaniah and 12 of his sons and relatives were selected.
17 Next, Shimei and 12 of his sons and relatives were selected.
18 Next, Azarel and 12 of his sons and relatives were selected.
19 Next, Hashabiah and 12 of his sons and relatives were selected.
20 Next, Shubael and 12 of his sons and relatives were selected.
21 Next, Mattithiah and 12 of his sons and relatives were selected.
22 Next, Jerimoth and 12 of his sons and relatives were selected.
23 Next, Hananiah and 12 of his sons and relatives were selected.
24 Next, Joshbekashah and 12 of his sons and relatives were selected.
25 Next, Hanani and 12 of his sons and relatives were selected.
