< 1 Chronicles 16 >
1 They brought the Sacred Chest [to Gibeon] and put it inside the Sacred Tent that David had [told his workers to] set up. Then they brought offerings to be completely burned [on the altar] and offerings to enable them to maintain fellowship [with God].
Ary nampiditra ny Fiaran’ Andriamanitra ny olona ka nametraka azy tao afovoan’ ny lay izay naorin’ i Davida ho azy; ary nanatitra fanatitra dorana sy fanati-pihavanana teo anatrehan’ Andriamanitra izy.
2 When David had finished presenting all those offerings, he [asked Yahweh to] bless the people.
Ary nony voatitr’ i Davida ny fanatitra odorana sy ny fanati-pihavanana, dia nitso-drano ny olona tamin’ ny anaran’ i Jehovah izy.
3 He gave a loaf of bread, some dates, and some raisins to every Israeli man and woman [who was there].
Dia nizara mofo iray avy sy hena iray didy ary ampempam-boaloboka ho an’ ny Isiraely rehetra na lahy na vavy izy.
4 Then David appointed some of the descendants of Levi to stand in front of [the Sacred Tent in which] the Sacred Chest [had been placed], to lead the people who worshiped and thanked and praised Yahweh, the God of the Israeli people.
Ary ny Levita sasany notendren’ i Davida ho mpanao fanompoam-pivavahana eo anatrehan’ ny fiaran’ i Jehovah mba hankalaza sy hisaotra ary hidera an’ i Jehovah, Andriamanitry ny Isiraely:
5 Asaph, who played the cymbals, was their leader. Zechariah was his assistant. The other descendants of Levi [who helped Asaph] were Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom, and Jeiel. They played lyres and harps.
Asafa no lohany, ary Zakaria no nanarakaraka, dia Jeiela sy Semiramota sy Jehiela sy Matitia sy Eliaba sy Benaia sy Obed-edoma ary Jeiela no nitendry ny valiha sy ny lokanga; fa Asafa no nampaneno ny kipantsona;
6 Benaiah and Jahaziel were priests who blew trumpets frequently in front of [the Sacred Tent in which was] the Sacred Chest.
Benaia sy Jahaziela mpisorona kosa no mpitsoka ny trompetra mandrakariva eo anoloan’ ny fiaran’ ny faneken’ Andriamanitra.
7 On that day, David gave to Asaph and his helpers this psalm to praise Yahweh:
Tamin’ izay andro izay no voalohan’ ny nanendren’ i Davida an’ i Asafa sy ny rahalahiny hidera an’ i Jehovah.
8 Thank God, and pray to him [MTY]. Tell the people of all nations what he has done.
Miderà an’ i Jehovah, miantsoa ny anarany; Ampahafantaro ny firenena ny asany.
9 Sing to him; sing songs to praise him. Tell about all his miraculous deeds.
Mihira ho Azy, mankalazà Azy; Saintsaino ny fahagagana rehetra ataony.
10 Be glad that you belong to him [MTY]; those who want to know Yahweh better should rejoice.
Ataovy ho reharehanareo ny anarany masìna; Aoka hifaly ny fon’ izay mitady an’ i Jehovah.
11 Trust in Yahweh and in his power; continually seek to get help from him.
Mitadiava an’ i Jehovah sy ny heriny, Katsaho mandrakariva ny tavany.
12 Do not forget the wonderful things that he has done, the miracles and the just laws that he has given to us.
Mahatsiarova ny asa mahagaga izay nataony, dia ny fahagagany sy ny fitsaran’ ny vavany,
13 We people are the descendants of his servant Jacob; we are the people of Israel whom he has chosen.
Hianareo taranak’ Isiraely mpanompony, Hianareo olom-boafidiny, taranak’ i Jakoba.
14 Yahweh is our God. His just/fair laws are known by people throughout the world.
Jehovah, Izy no Andriamanitsika, manerana ny tany rehetra ny fitsarany.
15 He never forgets the agreement that he has made: he made a promise that will last for 1,000 generations.
Tsarovy mandrakizay ny fanekeny. Dia ilay teny voadidiny ho an’ ny taranaka arivo mandimby,
16 That is the agreement that he made with Abraham, and he repeated that agreement to Isaac.
Eny, dia ilay nataony tamin’ i Abrahama sy ny fianianany tamin’ Isaka,
17 It was an agreement for the Israeli people, and he wanted that agreement to endure forever.
Izay naoriny ho lalàna ho an’ i Jakoba sy ho fanekena mandrakizay ho an’ Isiraely,
18 What he said was, “I will give the Canaan region to you, to belong to you [and your descendants forever].”
Ka nataony hoe: Homeko anao ny tany Kanana ho lovanareo voazara amin’ ny famolaina;
19 [He said that to them] when there were only a few of them, a tiny group of people who were living in that land (like strangers/that belonged to other people);
Fony mbola olom-bitsy ianareo, Eny, Vitsy sady vahiny tao,
20 they continued to wander from one place to another, from one kingdom to another.
Ary nifindrafindra tany amin’ ny firenena, sy nifindrafindra fanjakana ho amin’ ny firenen-kafa,
21 But he did not allow others to oppress them, and he warned kings by saying to them,
Tsy nisy navelany hampahory azy; Ary nananatra mpanjaka Izy noho ny amin’ ireo hoe:
22 “Do not harm the people whom I have chosen! Do not harm my prophets!”
Aza manendry ireo voahosotro, Ary aza manisy ratsy Ireo mpaminaniko.
23 You people throughout the world, sing to Yahweh. Every day proclaim [to others] that he has saved us.
Mihira ho an’ i Jehovah, ry tany rehetra; Lazao isan’ andro isan’ andro ny famonjeny mahafaly.
24 Tell the people of the nations that he is great; tell all the people-groups the marvelous things [that he has done].
Ambarao any amin’ ny jentilisa ny voninahiny, ary any amin’ ny firenena rehetra ny fahagagana ataony.
25 Yahweh is great, and he deserves to be praised very much. He should be revered more than all the gods,
Fa lehibe Jehovah ka mendrika hoderaina indrindra, sady mahatahotra, fa ambonin’ ny andriamanitra rehetra.
26 because all the gods that the [other] people-groups [worship] are only idols, but Yahweh [is truly great; he] created the skies.
Fa ny andriamanitry ny firenena rehetra dia tsinontsinona, fa Jehovah no nanao ny lanitra.
27 He is glorious and majestic; his power and joy fill his Sacred Tent.
Famirapiratana sy voninahitra no eo anatrehany, Hery sy hafaliana no ao amin’ ny fitoerany.
28 You people in nations all over the world, praise Yahweh! Praise Yahweh for his glorious power [HEN]!
Ry firenena, manomeza an’ i Jehovah, eny, manomeza voninahitra sy hery ho an’ i Jehovah.
29 Praise Yahweh like he [MTY] deserves to be praised. Bring an offering and come to his Sacred Tent. Worship Yahweh because he is holy.
Manomeza an’ i Jehovah ny voninahitry ny anarany; Mitondrà fanatitra, ka mankanesa eo anatrehany; Miankohofa eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah amin’ ny fihaingoana masìna
30 Everyone on the earth should tremble in front of Yahweh. He put the earth firmly [in its place]; and nothing ever will be able to move/shake it.
Mangovita eo anatrehany, ry tany rehetra; Izao rehetra izao voaorina ka tsy hihetsika.
31 Everything in the sky and on the earth should be happy. People [everywhere] should say, “Yahweh is our king!”
Aoka ho faly ny lanitra ary ho ravo ny tany; Ary aoka holazaina any amin’ ny firenena hoe: Jehovah no Mpanjaka.
32 The oceans and all the creatures that are in the oceans should shout to praise him; the fields and everything that is in them should rejoice.
Aoka hirohondrohona ny ranomasina sy izay rehetra ao aminy; Aoka ho faly ny saha sy izay rehetra ao aminy.
33 When they do that, [it will be as though] the trees in the forest will sing joyfully in front of Yahweh. That will happen when he comes to judge [everyone on] [MTY] the earth.
Dia hihoby eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah amin’ izay ny hazo an’ ala; Fa avy hitsara ny tany Izy.
34 Thank Yahweh, because [everything that he does is] good. He faithfully loves us forever.
Miderà an’ i Jehovah, fa tsara Izy: Fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony.
35 Say to him, “God, you are the one who rescues us, so gather us together and save us from [the armies of] other nations. When you do that, we will thank you [MTY], and we will be happy to praise you.”
Ary manaova hoe: Vonjeo izahay, ry Andriamanitry ny famonjena anay ô, ary angòny izahay, ka vonjeo tsy ho azon’ ny jentilisa, Mba hisaoranay ny anaranao masìna, ka ho reharehanay ny fiderana Anao.
36 Praise Yahweh, the God of us Israeli people, He has always existed, and he will exist forever. After the people [finished singing that song], they all said, “(Amen/May it be so)!”, and they praised Yahweh.
Isaorana anie Jehovah, Andriamanitry ny Isiraely, hatramin’ ny taloha indrindra ka ho mandrakizay. Ary ny olona rehetra nanao hoe: Amena, sady nidera an’ i Jehovah.
37 Then David left Asaph and the other members of his clan there in front of [the tent in which] Yahweh’s Sacred Chest [had been placed]. He told them that they must do their work there every day.
Ary Asafa sy ny rahalahiny dia navelan’ i Davida teo anoloan’ ny fiaran’ ny faneken’ Jehovah hanao fanompoam-pivavahana ao mandrakariva araka ny raharaha tokony hatao isan’ andro,
38 David also left Obed-Edom and 68 other descendants of Levi to work with them. Hosah and Obed-Edom guarded [the entrances of the Sacred Tent].
ary Obed-edoma sy ny rahalahiny valo amby enim-polo sy Obed-edoma, zanak’ i Jedotona, ary Hosa ho mpiandry varavarana kosa.
39 David also told Zadok the [Supreme] Priest and the other priests who worked with him to remain in front of Yahweh’s Sacred Tent, which was still at the place where the Israeli people worshiped [God there] in Gibeon [city].
Ary Zadoka mpisorona sy ny mpisorona rahalahiny dia navelany teo anoloan’ ny tabernakelin’ i Jehovah teo amin’ ny fitoerana avo any Gibeona,
40 Every morning and every evening they burned offerings on the altar, obeying the rules/laws that had been written [by Moses], rules/laws which Yahweh had given to the Israeli people.
hanatitra fanatitra dorana ho an’ i Jehovah marain-tsy hariva eo amin’ ny alitara fandoroana ny fanatitra dorana mandrakariva, ary hanao araka izay rehetra voasoratra ao amin’ ny lalàn’ i Jehovah, izay nandidiany ny Isiraely,
41 With them were Heman and Jeduthun and other descendants of Levi. They [MTY] were chosen to sing songs to praise Yahweh because he faithfully loves his people forever.
ary naman’ ireo koa Hemana sy Jedotona ary ny sisa amin’ ny olona voafidy izay voatonona anarana hidera an’ i Jehovah, fa mandrakizay ny famindram-pony.
42 Heman and Jeduthun were appointed to play the trumpets and cymbals when [the other descendants of Levi sang sacred songs]. The sons of Jeduthun were appointed to guard the gates [of the Sacred Tent].
Ary tao amin’ i Hemana sy Jedotona nisy trompetra sy kipantsona ho an’ izay mampaneno ary ny fomban’ ny zava-manenon’ Andriamanitra. Ary ny zanak’ i Jedotona no mpiandry varavarana.
43 Then all the people left. They returned to their homes, and David returned home to [ask Yahweh to] bless his family.
Ary dia samy nody tany an-tranony avy ny olona rehetra, ary Davida koa lasa nody mba hitso-drano ny ankohonany.
