1 Chronicles 16
1 They brought the Sacred Chest [to Gibeon] and put it inside the Sacred Tent that David had [told his workers to] set up. Then they brought offerings to be completely burned [on the altar] and offerings to enable them to maintain fellowship [with God].
೧ಅವರು ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ತಂದು ದಾವೀದನು ಅದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟು ದೇವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಸಮಾಧಾನಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
2 When David had finished presenting all those offerings, he [asked Yahweh to] bless the people.
೨ಆ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳು, ಹೋಮಗಳು ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯಾದ ನಂತರ ದಾವೀದನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದನು.
3 He gave a loaf of bread, some dates, and some raisins to every Israeli man and woman [who was there].
೩ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಪುರುಷ ಹಾಗು ಸ್ತ್ರೀಗೂ ಒಂದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನೂ, ಒಂದು ತುಂಡು ಬೇಯಿಸಿದ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಹಣ್ಣಿನ ಒಂದು ಗೊಂಚಲನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡಿಸಿದನು.
4 Then David appointed some of the descendants of Levi to stand in front of [the Sacred Tent in which] the Sacred Chest [had been placed], to lead the people who worshiped and thanked and praised Yahweh, the God of the Israeli people.
೪ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಮುಂದೆ ದೇವರಾಧನೆ ನಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ದಾವೀದನು ಕೆಲವು ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವುದೂ, ಹಾಡಿ ಹರಸುವುದೂ ಅವರ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
5 Asaph, who played the cymbals, was their leader. Zechariah was his assistant. The other descendants of Levi [who helped Asaph] were Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom, and Jeiel. They played lyres and harps.
೫ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸಾಫನು ಪ್ರಧಾನನು. ಜೆಕರ್ಯನು ಎರಡನೆಯವನು. ಯೆಗೀಯೇಲ್, ಶೆಮೀರಾಮೋತ್, ಯೆಹೀಯೇಲ್, ಮತ್ತಿತ್ಯ, ಎಲೀಯಾಬ್, ಬೆನಾಯ, ಓಬೇದೆದೋಮ್, ಯೆಗೀಯೇಲ್ ಇವರು ಸ್ವರಮಂಡಲ, ಕಿನ್ನರಿ ಮೊದಲಾದ ವಾದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನುಡಿಸುವವರು, ಆಸಾಫನು ಕೈತಾಳ ಹಾಕುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನೇಮಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
6 Benaiah and Jahaziel were priests who blew trumpets frequently in front of [the Sacred Tent in which was] the Sacred Chest.
೬ಬೆನಾಯ, ಯೆಹಜೀಯೇಲ್ ಎಂಬ ಯಾಜಕರು ದೇವರ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ತುತ್ತೂರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಊದುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನೇಮಕವಾದರು.
7 On that day, David gave to Asaph and his helpers this psalm to praise Yahweh:
೭ದಾವೀದನು ಆಸಾಫನನ್ನೂ, ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನೂ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿ ಕೀರ್ತಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲೇ ಮೊದಲು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ಹಾಡಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ;
8 Thank God, and pray to him [MTY]. Tell the people of all nations what he has done.
೮“ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ. ಆತನ ನಾಮದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವರ್ಣಿಸಿರಿ. ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಸತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿರಿ.
9 Sing to him; sing songs to praise him. Tell about all his miraculous deeds.
೯ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತಿಸಿರಿ, ಭಜಿಸಿರಿ; ಆತನ ಅದ್ಭುತಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸಿರಿ.
10 Be glad that you belong to him [MTY]; those who want to know Yahweh better should rejoice.
೧೦ಆತನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಿರಿ; ಯೆಹೋವನ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಕೋರುವವರ ಹೃದಯವು ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಹರ್ಷಿಸಲಿ.
11 Trust in Yahweh and in his power; continually seek to get help from him.
೧೧ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಆತನ ಬಲವನ್ನೂ ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿರಿ; ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಆತನ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ.
12 Do not forget the wonderful things that he has done, the miracles and the just laws that he has given to us.
೧೨ಆತನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರೇ, ಆತನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ವಂಶದವರೇ, ಆತನ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು,
13 We people are the descendants of his servant Jacob; we are the people of Israel whom he has chosen.
೧೩ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು, ನ್ಯಾಯ ನಿರ್ಣಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿರಿ.
14 Yahweh is our God. His just/fair laws are known by people throughout the world.
೧೪ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬಾತನು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು, ಆತನ ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಧಿಗಳು ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಇವೆ.
15 He never forgets the agreement that he has made: he made a promise that will last for 1,000 generations.
೧೫ಆತನು ಸಾವಿರಾರು ತಲೆಮಾರಿನವರೆಗೂ ಇರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಆತನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ನೆನಪಿನಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
16 That is the agreement that he made with Abraham, and he repeated that agreement to Isaac.
೧೬ಆತನು ಆ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು ಮತ್ತು ಇಸಾಕನಿಗಾಗಿ ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದನು.
17 It was an agreement for the Israeli people, and he wanted that agreement to endure forever.
೧೭ಅದು ರಾಜಶಾಸನದಂತಿರುವುದು ಎಂದು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೂ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದೆಂದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೂ ಮಾತುಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
18 What he said was, “I will give the Canaan region to you, to belong to you [and your descendants forever].”
೧೮ನೀವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಬಹು ಜನರು ಕಾನಾನ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗಳು ಆಗಿರುವಾಗಲೇ
19 [He said that to them] when there were only a few of them, a tiny group of people who were living in that land (like strangers/that belonged to other people);
೧೯ಆತನು, ‘ನಿಮಗೆ ಈ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು ಅದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವತ್ತಾಗಿರುವುದು’ ಎಂದು ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
20 they continued to wander from one place to another, from one kingdom to another.
೨೦ಅವರು ದೇಶದಿಂದ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೂ ರಾಜ್ಯದಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ
21 But he did not allow others to oppress them, and he warned kings by saying to them,
೨೧ಅವರಿಗೆ ಯಾರಿಂದಲೂ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಲಿ, ಅಪಾಯವಾಗಲಿ ಆಗಲು ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆತನು ಅವರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಿ,
22 “Do not harm the people whom I have chosen! Do not harm my prophets!”
೨೨‘ನಾನು ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿದವರನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಬಾರದು. ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬಾರದು’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
23 You people throughout the world, sing to Yahweh. Every day proclaim [to others] that he has saved us.
೨೩ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿರಿ. ಆತನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಸಾರಿಹೇಳಿರಿ.
24 Tell the people of the nations that he is great; tell all the people-groups the marvelous things [that he has done].
೨೪ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಘನತೆಯನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಅದ್ಭುತಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಿರಿ.
25 Yahweh is great, and he deserves to be praised very much. He should be revered more than all the gods,
೨೫ಯೆಹೋವನು ದೊಡ್ಡವನು, ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಸ್ತುತಿಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರನು ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇವತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನೇ ಅದ್ಭುತನಾದವನು.
26 because all the gods that the [other] people-groups [worship] are only idols, but Yahweh [is truly great; he] created the skies.
೨೬ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ದೇವತೆಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬರೀ ಬೊಂಬೆಗಳೇ. ಯೆಹೋವನಾದರೋ ಗಗನಮಂಡಲವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದವನು.
27 He is glorious and majestic; his power and joy fill his Sacred Tent.
೨೭ಆತನ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನ ಮಹಿಮೆಗಳು ಆತನ ಪವಿತ್ರಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಮೆ, ಸ್ತುತಿಸ್ತೋತ್ರಗಳು, ಸಂತೋಷಗಳೂ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ.
28 You people in nations all over the world, praise Yahweh! Praise Yahweh for his glorious power [HEN]!
೨೮ಭೂಜನಾಂಗಗಳೇ, ಬಲಪ್ರಭಾವಗಳು ಯೆಹೋವನವೇ ಯೆಹೋವನವೇ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಘನಪಡಿಸಿರಿ.
29 Praise Yahweh like he [MTY] deserves to be praised. Bring an offering and come to his Sacred Tent. Worship Yahweh because he is holy.
೨೯ಯೆಹೋವನ ನಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾದ ಘನವನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿರಿ. ಕಾಣಿಕೆ ಸಹಿತ ಆತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ. ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧತ್ವವೆಂಬ ಭೂಷಣದೊಡನೆ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿರಿ.
30 Everyone on the earth should tremble in front of Yahweh. He put the earth firmly [in its place]; and nothing ever will be able to move/shake it.
೩೦ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಸಾಷ್ಟಾಂಗವೆರಗಿ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿರಿ. ಭೂಮಿಯು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿರುವುದು, ಕದಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,
31 Everything in the sky and on the earth should be happy. People [everywhere] should say, “Yahweh is our king!”
೩೧ಗಗನಮಂಡಲವು ಹರ್ಷಿಸಲಿ; ಭೂಲೋಕವು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಲಿ; ಯೆಹೋವನು ರಾಜ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿರಿ.
32 The oceans and all the creatures that are in the oceans should shout to praise him; the fields and everything that is in them should rejoice.
೩೨ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವನೆಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಸಮುದ್ರವೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿರುವುದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಘೋಷಿಸಲಿ.
33 When they do that, [it will be as though] the trees in the forest will sing joyfully in front of Yahweh. That will happen when he comes to judge [everyone on] [MTY] the earth.
೩೩ಹೊಲಗಳೂ, ಅವುಗಳ ಪೈರುಗಳೂ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸಲಿ; ಮತ್ತು ವನದ ಮರಗಳು ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಧ್ವನಿ ಮಾಡಲಿ.
34 Thank Yahweh, because [everything that he does is] good. He faithfully loves us forever.
೩೪ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾಸ್ತುತಿಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಆತನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನು; ಆತನ ಕೃಪೆಯು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
35 Say to him, “God, you are the one who rescues us, so gather us together and save us from [the armies of] other nations. When you do that, we will thank you [MTY], and we will be happy to praise you.”
೩೫ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹಾಯಕನಾಗಿರುವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು; ಅನ್ಯಜನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚದುರಿಹೋಗಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸು; ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆವು; ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳಪಡುವೆವು ಅನ್ನಿರಿ.
36 Praise Yahweh, the God of us Israeli people, He has always existed, and he will exist forever. After the people [finished singing that song], they all said, “(Amen/May it be so)!”, and they praised Yahweh.
೩೬ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಗಳವರೆಗೂ ಕೊಂಡಾಟವಾಗಲಿ” ಎಂದು ಹಾಡಿದರು. ಅವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹಾಡಿದಾಗ ಸರ್ವಜನರೂ ಆಮೆನ್ ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿದರು.
37 Then David left Asaph and the other members of his clan there in front of [the tent in which] Yahweh’s Sacred Chest [had been placed]. He told them that they must do their work there every day.
೩೭ದಾವೀದನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಮುಂದೆ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನವೂ ಆರಾಧನೆ ನಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಸಾಫನನ್ನೂ, ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನೂ ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ,
38 David also left Obed-Edom and 68 other descendants of Levi to work with them. Hosah and Obed-Edom guarded [the entrances of the Sacred Tent].
೩೮ಯೆದುತೂನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಓಬೇದೆದೋಮ್ ಮತ್ತು ಹೋಸ ಇವರನ್ನು, ಅವರ ಆರುವತ್ತೆಂಟು ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನೂ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಇರಿಸಿದನು.
39 David also told Zadok the [Supreme] Priest and the other priests who worked with him to remain in front of Yahweh’s Sacred Tent, which was still at the place where the Israeli people worshiped [God there] in Gibeon [city].
೩೯ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಚಾದೋಕನನ್ನೂ, ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನೂ ಗಿಬ್ಯೋನಿನ ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸಿದನು.
40 Every morning and every evening they burned offerings on the altar, obeying the rules/laws that had been written [by Moses], rules/laws which Yahweh had given to the Israeli people.
೪೦ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನವೂ ಪ್ರಾತಃಕಾಲ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ವಿಧಿತವಾದದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಬೇಕಾಯಿತು.
41 With them were Heman and Jeduthun and other descendants of Levi. They [MTY] were chosen to sing songs to praise Yahweh because he faithfully loves his people forever.
೪೧ಅವರ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು, ಆತನ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಕೃಪೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೇಮಾನ್, ಯೆದುತೂನ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಸರು ಹೆಸರಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಬೇರೆ ಜನರೂ ಇದ್ದರು.
42 Heman and Jeduthun were appointed to play the trumpets and cymbals when [the other descendants of Levi sang sacred songs]. The sons of Jeduthun were appointed to guard the gates [of the Sacred Tent].
೪೨ಹೇಮಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆದುತೂನರ ಹತ್ತಿರ ವಾದ್ಯಗಾರರಿಗಾಗಿ ತುತ್ತೂರಿ, ತಾಳ ಮೊದಲಾದ ವಾದ್ಯಗಳೂ ಮತ್ತು ದೇವಕೀರ್ತನಾ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಗಳಿದ್ದವು. ಯೆದುತೂನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.
43 Then all the people left. They returned to their homes, and David returned home to [ask Yahweh to] bless his family.
೪೩ತರುವಾಯ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು. ದಾವೀದನು ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋದನು.
