1 Chronicles 1
1 [The first person God created was Adam]. Adam’s [son was] Seth. [Seth’s son was] Enosh. [Enosh’s son was] Kenan.
आदम, शेत, एनोश,
2 [Kenan’s son was] Mahalalel. [Mahalalel’s son was] Jared. [Jared’s son was] Enoch.
केनान, महलालेल, येरेद,
3 [Enoch’s son was] Methuselah. [Methusalah’s son was] Lamech. [Lamech’s son was] Noah.
हनोक, मतूशेलह, लेमेक ।
4 [Noah’s sons were] Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
नोआका छोराहरू शेम, हाम र येपेत थिए ।
5 The sons (OR, descendants) of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.
येपेतका छोराहरू गोमेर, मागोग, मादे, यावान, तूबल, मेशेक र तीरास थिए ।
6 The sons (OR, descendants) of Gomer were Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.
गोमेरका छोराहरू अशकनज, रीपत र तोगर्मा थिए ।
7 The descendants of Javan were Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Rodanim.
यावानका छोराहरू एलीशाह, तर्शीश, कित्तीम र रोदानीम थिए ।
8 The sons of Ham were Cush, Mizraim (OR, Egypt), Put, and Canaan.
हामका छोराहरू कूश, मिश्रइम, पूत र कनान थिए ।
9 The descendants of Cush were Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabteca. The sons (OR, descendants) of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.
कूशका छोराहरू सेबा, हवीला, सब्त, रामाह र सब्तका थिए । रामाका छोराहरू शेबा र ददान थिए ।
10 Another descendant of Cush was Nimrod. When he grew up, he became a mighty warrior on the earth.
कूशचाहिं निम्रोदका पिता बने, जो पृथ्वीका पहिलो विजेता थिए ।
11 Mizraim (OR, Egypt) was the ancestor of the Lud people-group, the Anam people-group, the Lehab people-group, the Naphtuh people-group,
मिश्रइमचाहिं लूदीहरू, अनामीहरू, लहाबीहरू र नप्तूहीहरू,
12 the Pathrus people-group, the Casluh people-group, and the Caphtor people-group. The people of [the] Philistia [region] were descended from the Casluh people-group.
पत्रुसीहरू, कस्लूहीहरू (जसबाट पलिश्तीहरू आए) र कप्तोरीहरूका पुर्खा बने ।
13 Canaan’s first son was Sidon. He was also the ancestor of the Heth people-group,
कनानचाहिं तिनका जेठा छोरा सीदोन र हित्तीहरूका पिता बने ।
14 the Jebus people-group, the Amor people-group, the Girgash people-group,
तिनी यबूसीहरू, एमोरीहरू, गिर्गाशीहरू,
15 the Hiv people-group, the Ark people-group, the Sin people-group,
हिव्वीहरू, अरकीहरू, सिनीहरू,
16 the Arvad people-group, the Zemar people-group, and the Hamath people-group.
अर्वादीहरू, समारीहरू र हमातीहरूका पनि पुर्खा बने ।
17 The sons of Shem were Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram. Aram’s sons were Uz, Hul, Gether, and Meshech.
शेमका छोराहरू एलाम, अश्शूर, अर्पक्षद, लूद र अराम थिए । अरामका छोराहरू ऊज, हुल, गेतेर र मेशेक थिए ।
18 Arphaxad was the father of Shelah, who was the father of Eber.
अर्पक्षद शेलहका पिता थिए र शेलह एबेरका पिता थिए ।
19 Eber had two sons. One was named Peleg [which sounds like the word that means ‘divided’] because during the time that he lived, [the people on] the earth were divided [into various language groups]. Peleg’s [younger] brother was Joktan.
एबेरका दुई जना छोराहरू थिए । एउटाको नाउँ पेलेग थियो, किनभने तिनको समयमा पृथ्वीलाई विभाजन गरिएको थियो । तिनका भाइको नाउँ योक्तान थियो ।
20 Joktan was the ancestor of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,
योक्तानचाहिं अल्मोदद, शेलेप, हसर्मवित, येरह,
21 Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,
हदोरम, ऊजाल, दिक्ला,
22 Obal, Abimael, Sheba,
ओबाल, अबमाएल, शेबा,
23 Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab.
ओपीर, हवीला र योबाबका पिता बने । यी सबै योक्तानका सन्तति थिए ।
24 The descendants of Shem, [in order from him to Abraham], were Arphaxad, Shelah,
शेम, अर्पक्षद, शेलह,
25 Eber, Peleg, Reu,
एबेर, पेलेग, रऊ,
26 Serug, Nahor, Terah,
सरूग, नाहोर, तेरह,
27 and Abram, whose [name was later changed to] Abraham.
अब्राम जो अब्राहाम थिए ।
28 Abraham’s sons were Isaac and Ishmael.
अब्राहामका छोराहरू इसहाक र इश्माएल थिए ।
29 [The son of Abraham’s slave wife Hagar was Ishmael.] Ishmael’s [twelve] sons were Nebaioth, Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,
तिनीहरूका सन्तान यी नै हुन्: इश्माएलका जेठा नबायोत, त्यसपछि केदार, अदबेल, मिब्साम,
30 Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad, Tema,
मिश्मा, दुमा, मस्सा, हदद, तेमा,
31 Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah.
यतूर, नापीश र केदमा । यिनीहरू इश्माएलका छोराहरू थिए ।
32 [After]’s [wife Sarah died, he took another wife named] Keturah. The sons of Abraham and Keturah were Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. Jokshan’s sons were Sheba and Dedan.
अब्राहामकी उपपत्नी कतूराका छोराहरू जिम्रान, योक्षान, मदान, मिद्यान, यिशबाक र शूह थिए । योक्षानका छोराहरू शेबा र ददान थिए ।
33 Midian’s sons were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah.
मिद्यानका छोराहरू एपा, एपेर, हानोक, अबीदा र एल्दा थिए । यी सबै कतूराका सन्तान थिए ।
34 The son of Abraham [and his wife Sarah] was Isaac, and Isaac’s sons were Esau and [Jacob, whose name was later changed to] Israel.
अब्राहाम इसहाकका पिता बने । इसहाकका छोराहरू एसाव र इस्राएल थिए ।
35 The sons of Esau were Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.
एसावका छोराहरू एलीपज, रूएल, येऊश, यालाम र कोरह थिए ।
36 The sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho (OR, Zephi), Gatam, Kenaz, Timna, and Amalek.
एलीपजका छोराहरू तेमान, ओमार, सपो, गाताम, कनज, तिम्न र अमालेक थिए ।
37 Reuel’s sons were Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
रूएलका छोराहरू नहत, जेरह, शम्मा र मिज्जा थिए ।
38 [Another descendant of Esau was Seir. His descendants lived in the Edom region]. Seir’s sons were Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan.
सेइरका छोराहरू: लोतान, शोबाल, सिबोन, अना, दीशोन, एसेर, र दीशान थिए ।
39 Lotan’s sons were Hori and Homam, and Lotan’s sister was Timna.
लोतानका छोराहरू होरी र हेमाम थिए, अनि लोतानकी बहिनीको नाम तीम्न थियो ।
40 Shobal’s sons were Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho, and Onam. Zibeon’s sons were Aiah and Anah.
शोबालका छोराहरू अल्बान, मानहत, एबाल, शपो र ओनाम थिए । सिबोनका छोराहरू अय्या र अना थियो ।
41 Anah’s son was Dishon. 1 Dishon’s sons were Hemdan (OR, Hamran), Eshban, Ithran, and Keran.
अनाका छोरा दीशोन थिए । दीशोनका छोराहरू हेमदान, एश्बान, यित्रान र करान थिए ।
42 Ezer’s sons were Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan (OR, Jaakan). Dishan’s sons were Uz and Aran.
एसेरका छोराहरू बिल्हान, जावान र अकान थिए । दीशानका छोराहरू ऊज र आरान थिए ।
43 [These are the names of] the kings that ruled [the] Edom [region] before any kings ruled over Israel: Bela, the son of Beor, was king in Edom, and the name of the city [in which he lived] was Dinhabah.
इस्राएलमा कुनै पनि राजाले राज्य गर्नुभन्दा पहिले एदोममा राज्य गर्ने राजाहरू यी नै थिएः बओरका छोरा बेला, र तिनको सहर दिन्हावा थियो ।
44 When Bela died, Jobab, the son of Zerah from Bozrah [city], became the king.
बेला मरेपछि तिनको ठाउँमा बोज्राका जेरहका छोरा योबाब राजा भए ।
45 When Jobab died, Husham became the king. He was from the region where the Teman people-group lived.
योबाब मरेपछि तिनको ठाउँमा तेमानीहरूको देशका हूशाम राजा भए ।
46 When Husham died, Hadad, the son of Bedad, became the king. He [ruled in] Avith city. Hadad’s [army] defeated [the army of the] Midian [people-group] in [the] Moab [region].
हूशाम मरेपछि तिनको ठाउँमा बददका छोरा हदद राजा भए, जसले मोआब देशमा मिद्यानीहरूलाई पराजित गरे । तिनको सहरको नाउँ अवीत थियो ।
47 When Hadad died, Samlah became the king. He was from Masrekah [town].
हदद मरेपछि तिनको ठाउँमा मास्रेकाका सम्ला राजा भए ।
48 When Samlah died, Shaul became the king. He was from Rehoboth [city] along the [Euphrates] river.
सम्ला मरेपछि तिनको ठाउँमा नदीको किनारमा भएको रहोबोतका शौल राजा भए ।
49 When Shaul died, Baal-Hanan, the son of Achbor, became the king.
शौल मरेपछि तिनको ठाउँमा अक्बोरका छोरा बाल-हानानले तिनको ठाउँमा राज्य गरे ।
50 When Baal-Hanan died, Hadad became the king. He was from Pau city. His wife’s name was Mehetabel; she was the daughter of Matred and the granddaughter of Me-Zahab.
अक्बोरका छोरा बाल-हानान मरेपछि तिनको ठाउँमा हददले राज्य गरे । तिनको सहरको नाउँ पाऊ थियो । तिनकी पत्नीको नाउँ मत्रेदकी छोरी महेतबेल थियो, जो मे-जाहाबकी नातिनी थिइन् ।
51 Then Hadad died. The leaders of the clans of the Edom people-group were Timna, Alvah, Jetheth,
हदद मरे । एदोमका प्रधानहरूमा प्रधान तीम्न, प्रधान अल्वा, प्रधान यतेत,
52 Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon,
प्रधान ओहोलीबामा, प्रधान एलाह, प्रधान पीनोन,
53 Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar,
प्रधान कनज, प्रधान तेमान, प्रधान मिब्सार,
54 Magdiel, and Iram.
प्रधान मग्दीएल र प्रधान ईराम थिए । एदोमका प्रधानहरू यी नै थिए ।
