< Revelation 5 >

1 Then I saw in the right hand of him who sits on the throne a scroll written on the inside and outside, sealed with seven seals.
And I saw on the right hand of Him that sat on the throne a book written within and without, sealed with seven seals:
2 And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?”
and I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book and to loose the seals of it?
3 But no one in heaven above or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or look into it.
And no one in heaven, nor on earth, nor under the earth, was able to open the book, or to look into it:
4 So I began to weep loudly because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look into it.
and I wept much because no one was found worthy to open and read the book, nor to look into it.
5 Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered; he is the one who can open the scroll and its seven seals.”
And one of the elders said to me, Weep not; ---Behold the lion of the tribe of Juda, the root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose its seven seals.
6 Then I saw a Lamb that looked like it had been slain; he was standing among the elders in the midst of the throne and the four living creatures. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the throne, and of the four animals, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb, as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth.
7 He went and took the scroll out of the right hand of him who was sitting on the throne.
And He came and took the book out of the right hand of Him that sat upon the throne.
8 When he took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each of them had a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which contain the prayers of the saints.
And when He had taken the book, the four animals, and the twenty four elders, fell down before the Lamb, having every one harps and golden vials full of perfumes, which are the prayers of the saints.
9 And they sang a new song: “Worthy are yoʋ to take the scroll and open its seals, for yoʋ were slain, and by yoʋr blood yoʋ redeemed us for God out of every tribe, tongue, people, and nation.
And they sung a new song, saying, Worthy art thou to take the book, and to open its seals; for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 Yoʋ have made them kings and priests to our God, and they will reign on the earth.”
and hast made us to our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
11 Then I looked, and I heard something like the voice of many angels coming from around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders. Their number was myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands,
And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round the throne and the animals and the elders: and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands;
12 and they were saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches, wisdom and strength, honor, glory, and blessing!”
saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain, to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.
13 Then I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor, glory and power, forever and ever! Amen.” (aiōn g165)
And I heard every creature in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all that are in them, saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and to the Lamb, for ever and ever. (aiōn g165)
14 And I heard the four living creatures saying, “Amen.” And the elders fell down and worshiped.
And the four animals said, Amen: and the twenty four elders fell down and worshipped Him that liveth to endless ages.
