Revelation 2
1 “To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: ‘These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and who walks among the seven golden lampstands:
इफिषस्थसमिते र्दूतं प्रति त्वम् इदं लिख; यो दक्षिणकरेण सप्त तारा धारयति सप्तानां सुवर्णदीपवृक्षाणां मध्ये गमनागमने करोति च तेनेदम् उच्यते।
2 I know yoʋr works, yoʋr labor, and yoʋr endurance. I know that yoʋ cannot tolerate those who are evil, and that yoʋ have tested those who declare themselves to be apostles but are not, and have found them to be false.
तव क्रियाः श्रमः सहिष्णुता च मम गोचराः, त्वं दुष्टान् सोढुं न शक्नोषि ये च प्रेरिता न सन्तः स्वान् प्रेरितान् वदन्ति त्वं तान् परीक्ष्य मृषाभाषिणो विज्ञातवान्,
3 Yoʋ have persevered and endured hardships for the sake of my name, and have not grown weary.
अपरं त्वं तितिक्षां विदधासि मम नामार्थं बहु सोढवानसि तथापि न पर्य्यक्लाम्यस्तदपि जानामि।
4 But I have this against yoʋ: Yoʋ have left yoʋr first love.
किञ्च तव विरुद्धं मयैतत् वक्तव्यं यत् तव प्रथमं प्रेम त्वया व्यहीयत।
5 Therefore, remember where yoʋ have fallen from; repent and do the works yoʋ did at first. If yoʋ do not repent, I will come to yoʋ quickly and remove yoʋr lampstand from its place.
अतः कुतः पतितो ऽसि तत् स्मृत्वा मनः परावर्त्त्य पूर्व्वीयक्रियाः कुरु न चेत् त्वया मनसि न परिवर्त्तिते ऽहं तूर्णम् आगत्य तव दीपवृक्षं स्वस्थानाद् अपसारयिष्यामि।
6 Yet yoʋ do have this: Yoʋ hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
तथापि तवेष गुणो विद्यते यत् नीकलायतीयलोकानां याः क्रिया अहम् ऋतीये तास्त्वमपि ऋतीयमे।
7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give the right to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of my God.’
यस्य श्रोत्रं विद्यते स समितीः प्रत्युच्यमानाम् आत्मनः कथां शृणोतु। यो जनो जयति तस्मा अहम् ईश्वरस्यारामस्थजीवनतरोः फलं भोक्तुं दास्यामि।
8 “To the angel of the church in Smyrna write: ‘These are the words of the first and the last, who was dead and came to life:
अपरं स्मुर्णास्थसमिते र्दूतं प्रतीदं लिख; य आदिरन्तश्च यो मृतवान् पुनर्जीवितवांश्च तेनेदम् उच्यते,
9 I know yoʋr works, yoʋr tribulation, and yoʋr poverty—yet yoʋ are rich! I know the slander of those who declare themselves to be Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
तव क्रियाः क्लेशो दैन्यञ्च मम गोचराः किन्तु त्वं धनवानसि ये च यिहूदीया न सन्तः शयतानस्य समाजाः सन्ति तथापि स्वान् यिहूदीयान् वदन्ति तेषां निन्दामप्यहं जानामि।
10 Do not be afraid of what yoʋ are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison so that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give yoʋ the crown of life.
त्वया यो यः क्लेशः सोढव्यस्तस्मात् मा भैषीः पश्य शयतानो युष्माकं परीक्षार्थं कांश्चित् कारायां निक्षेप्स्यति दश दिनानि यावत् क्लेशो युष्मासु वर्त्तिष्यते च। त्वं मृत्युपर्य्यन्तं विश्वास्यो भव तेनाहं जीवनकिरीटं तुभ्यं दास्यामि।
11 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. He who overcomes will certainly not be harmed by the second death.’
यस्य श्रोत्रं विद्यते स समितीः प्रत्युच्यमानाम् आत्मनः कथां शृणोतु। यो जयति स द्वितीयमृत्युना न हिंसिष्यते।
12 “To the angel of the church in Pergamum write: ‘These are the words of him who has the sharp two-edged sword:
अपरं पर्गामस्थसमिते र्दूतं प्रतीदं लिख, यस्तीक्ष्णं द्विधारं खङ्गं धारयति स एव भाषते।
13 I know yoʋr works and where yoʋ dwell, where Satan's throne is. Yet yoʋ hold fast to my name, and yoʋ did not deny my faith in the days when Antipas was my faithful witness, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.
तव क्रिया मम गोचराः, यत्र शयतानस्य सिंहासनं तत्रैव त्वं वससि तदपि जानामि। त्वं मम नाम धारयसि मद्भक्तेरस्वीकारस्त्वया न कृतो मम विश्वास्यसाक्षिण आन्तिपाः समये ऽपि न कृतः। स तु युष्मन्मध्ये ऽघानि यतः शयतानस्तत्रैव निवसति।
14 But I have a few things against yoʋ: Yoʋ have some there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel and to eat food sacrificed to idols and commit fornication.
तथापि तव विरुद्धं मम किञ्चिद् वक्तव्यं यतो देवप्रसादादनाय परदारगमनाय चेस्रायेलः सन्तानानां सम्मुख उन्माथं स्थापयितुं बालाक् येनाशिक्ष्यत तस्य बिलियमः शिक्षावलम्बिनस्तव केचित् जनास्तत्र सन्ति।
15 In the same way, yoʋ also have some who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans.
तथा नीकलायतीयानां शिक्षावलम्बिनस्तव केचित् जना अपि सन्ति तदेवाहम् ऋतीये।
16 Therefore repent. Otherwise, I will come to yoʋ quickly and make war against them with the sword of my mouth.
अतो हेतोस्त्वं मनः परिवर्त्तय न चेदहं त्वरया तव समीपमुपस्थाय मद्वक्तस्थखङ्गेन तैः सह योत्स्यामि।
17 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone, and on the stone will be written a new name that no one knows except the one who receives it.’
यस्य श्रोत्रं विद्यते स समितीः प्रत्युच्यमानाम् आत्मनः कथां शृणोतु। यो जनो जयति तस्मा अहं गुप्तमान्नां भोक्तुं दास्यामि शुभ्रप्रस्तरमपि तस्मै दास्यामि तत्र प्रस्तरे नूतनं नाम लिखितं तच्च ग्रहीतारं विना नान्येन केनाप्यवगम्यते।
18 “To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: ‘These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like a flame of fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze:
अपरं थुयातीरास्थसमिते र्दूतं प्रतीदं लिख। यस्य लोचने वह्निशिखासदृशे चरणौ च सुपित्तलसङ्काशौ स ईश्वरपुत्रो भाषते,
19 I know yoʋr works, yoʋr love and faith, yoʋr service and endurance, and that yoʋr latter works are greater than the ones yoʋ did at first.
तव क्रियाः प्रेम विश्वासः परिचर्य्या सहिष्णुता च मम गोचराः, तव प्रथमक्रियाभ्यः शेषक्रियाः श्रेष्ठास्तदपि जानामि।
20 But I have this against yoʋ: Yoʋ tolerate yoʋr wife Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess while teaching and seducing my servants to commit fornication and eat food sacrificed to idols.
तथापि तव विरुद्धं मया किञ्चिद् वक्तव्यं यतो या ईषेबल्नामिका योषित् स्वां भविष्यद्वादिनीं मन्यते वेश्यागमनाय देवप्रसादाशनाय च मम दासान् शिक्षयति भ्रामयति च सा त्वया न निवार्य्यते।
21 I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her fornication.
अहं मनःपरिवर्त्तनाय तस्यै समयं दत्तवान् किन्तु सा स्वीयवेश्याक्रियातो मनःपरिवर्त्तयितुं नाभिलषति।
22 Behold, I will throw her onto a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her I will throw into great tribulation, unless they repent from her works.
पश्याहं तां शय्यायां निक्षेप्स्यामि, ये तया सार्द्धं व्यभिचारं कुर्व्वन्ति ते यदि स्वक्रियाभ्यो मनांसि न परावर्त्तयन्ति तर्हि तानपि महाक्लेशे निक्षेप्स्यामि
23 I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches minds and hearts, and I will give to each of you according to your works.
तस्याः सन्तानांश्च मृत्युना हनिष्यामि। तेनाहम् अन्तःकरणानां मनसाञ्चानुसन्धानकारी युष्माकमेकैकस्मै च स्वक्रियाणां फलं मया दातव्यमिति सर्व्वाः समितयो ज्ञास्यन्ति।
24 But to the rest of you who are in Thyatira, who do not hold to this teaching and have not learned what some call the deep things of Satan—to you I say: I place no further burden upon you.
अपरम् अवशिष्टान् थुयातीरस्थलोकान् अर्थतो यावन्तस्तां शिक्षां न धारयन्ति ये च कैश्चित् शयतानस्य गम्भीरार्था उच्यन्ते तान् ये नावगतवन्तस्तानहं वदामि युष्मासु कमप्यपरं भारं नारोपयिष्यामि;
25 Only hold fast to what you have until I come.
किन्तु यद् युष्माकं विद्यते तत् ममागमनं यावद् धारयत।
26 To him who overcomes and keeps my works to the end, I will give authority over the nations,
यो जनो जयति शेषपर्य्यन्तं मम क्रियाः पालयति च तस्मा अहम् अन्यजातीयानाम् आधिपत्यं दास्यामि;
27 and he will rule them with a rod of iron; like earthen vessels they will be shattered, just as I have received authority from my Father.
पितृतो मया यद्वत् कर्तृत्वं लब्धं तद्वत् सो ऽपि लौहदण्डेन तान् चारयिष्यति तेन मृद्भाजनानीव ते चूर्णा भविष्यन्ति।
28 I will also give him the morning star.
अपरम् अहं तस्मै प्रभातीयताराम् अपि दास्यामि।
29 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.’
यस्य श्रोत्रं विद्यते स समितीः प्रत्युच्यमानाम् आत्मनः कथां शृणोतु।
