< Revelation 10 >
1 Then I saw a mighty angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow over his head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were like pillars of fire.
Kabhili nigunimmwene malaika akwete mashili alielela kukoposhela kunnungu. Atimbililwe na liunde, na lipinda lya a Nnungu pantundu ntwe gwakwe. Lubhombo lwakwe lushinkubhala mbuti lyubha na makongono gakwe pugaaliji mbuti mapoto ga moto.
2 In his hand he held an open scroll. He placed his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,
Munkono gwakwe ashinkukamula shitabhu shishoko shashiunukulwe. Nigwabhishile lukongono lwakwe lwa nnilo mbhaali na lukongono lwa nshinda pai papajumu,
3 and cried out with a loud voice, like a lion roaring. When he cried out, the seven thunders sounded their voices.
Na gwashemile kwa utiya mbuti imba atuluma. Akajobheleje, nigujipilikanishe milindimo shabha ja nnjai.
4 And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write. But I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down.”
Na yene nnjai shabha ila ikalindimileje napingaga kutandubha kujandika, ikabheje nigumbilikene lilobhe kukoposhela kunnungu lilinkuti, “Nnagajandishe gene gabheleketwe na yene nnjai shabha gala, ntende ga nng'iyo.”
5 Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven
Na malaika junammweni ajimi papajumu na mbhaali, nigwajinwile nkono gwakwe gwa nnilo kuloya kunnungu.
6 and swore by him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and everything in it, the earth and everything in it, and the sea and everything in it, and said that there would no longer be delay, (aiōn )
7 but that in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God would be completed, according to the good news he announced to his servants the prophets.
Ikabheje mobha malaika jwa shabha gapinga gomba lipenga lyakwe, shinjubhi sha a Nnungu shishitimilile, malinga shibhashite kwaalungushiyanga bhatumishi bhabho ashinkulondola.
8 Then the voice I had heard from heaven spoke to me again, saying, “Go take the little scroll that is open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.”
Penepo lyene lilobhe linalipilikene kukoposhela kunnungu, nigulibhelekete na nne kabhili lilinkuti, “Nnjende nkatole shene shitabhu shiunukwilwe, shili munkono gwa jwene malaika ajimi mbhaali na pai papajumu.”
9 So I went over to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. And he said to me, “Take the scroll and eat it. It will make yoʋr stomach bitter, but in yoʋr mouth it will be as sweet as honey.”
Bhai guninnjendele malaika jula guninnjujile ambe shene shitabhusho. Nigwamalanjile, “Ntole na nshilye, shipinga bhabha mmatumbo genu, ikabheje shiipinga nong'a mbuti bhushi nkangw'a jenu.”
10 So I took the scroll from the angel's hand and ate it. In my mouth it was as sweet as honey, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned bitter.
Kwa nneyo nigundolile shitabhu shishoko kukoposhela munkono gwakwe jwene malaika jula gunile. Ninong'a mbuti bhushi nkangw'a jangu, ikabheje ngamileje, matumbo gakumbotekaga.
11 Then I was told, “Yoʋ must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.”
Kabhili nigumalanjilwe, “Nnapinjikwa kulondola kabhili, ga makabhila gamagwinji, na ga ilambo, na ga ibheleketi, na ga bhapalume bhabhagwinji!”
