Philippians 4
1 Therefore, my brothers, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, my beloved friends.
Así que mis hermanos, amados y quien tanto deseo ver, mi alegría y mi corona, sean fuertes en el Señor, mis amados.
2 I urge Euodia and Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord.
Pido a Evodia y Síntique que tengan la misma opinión en el Señor.
3 Yes, I ask yoʋ also, my true companion, to assist these women, who have contended for the gospel at my side, along with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.
Y te pido, fiel ayudante en mi trabajo, que veas las necesidades de aquellas mujeres que participaron conmigo en el mensaje de la salvación, con Clement y el resto de mis compañeros de trabajo cuyos nombres están en el libro de la vida.
4 Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say, rejoice!
Alégrense en el Señor en todo tiempo; otra vez digo: Alégrense.
5 Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.
Dejen que su comportamiento amable sea claro para todos los hombres. El Señor está cerca.
6 Be anxious about nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.
En nada estén afanosos; pero en todo con oración, ruegos y acción de gracias hagan saber sus peticiones ante Dios.
7 And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Y la paz de Dios, que es más profunda que todo conocimiento, guardará sus corazones y sus mentes en Cristo Jesús.
8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if anything is virtuous or praiseworthy, think about such things.
Por lo demás, mis hermanos, todo lo que es verdadero, todo lo que tiene honor, todo lo que es recto, todo lo que es santo, todo lo que es bello, todo lo que tiene valor, si hay alguna virtud y si hay alguna alabanza, piensa en estas cosas.
9 Practice what you have learned and received from me, and what you have heard and seen in me. And the God of peace will be with you.
Las cosas que aprendieron por mi enseñanza y mi predicación, y que viste en mí, estas cosas hagan, y el Dios de paz estará con ustedes.
10 I have great joy in the Lord that now at last you have revived your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned but had no opportunity to show it.
Pero estoy muy contento en el Señor porque ustedes han vuelto a pensar en mí; aunque de hecho pensaron en mí, pero no tuvieron oportunidad de ayudarme.
11 Not that I am speaking about being in need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I find myself.
Pero no lo digo porque tenga necesidad, porque puedo, donde sea que esté, depender de mí mismo.
12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether having plenty or being in need.
Es lo mismo para mí si soy menospreciado u honrado; en todas partes y en todas las cosas, tengo el secreto de cómo estar lleno y cómo ir sin comida; como tener riqueza y cómo estar en necesidad.
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Puedo hacer todas las cosas por medio de aquel que me fortalece.
14 Nevertheless, you did well by sharing with me in my affliction.
Pero hiciste bien en cuidarme en mi necesidad.
15 As you Philippians know, in the early days of the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, no church partnered with me in the matter of giving and receiving except you alone.
Y saben, Filipenses, que cuando les llegó la predicación del evangelio, cuando me fui de Macedonia, ninguna iglesia participó conmigo en él dar y recibir a los santos, sino solo ustedes;
16 Even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me help for my needs more than once.
Porque incluso en Tesalónica me enviaron una y otra vez en mi necesidad.
17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account.
No es que busque una ofrenda, sino un fruto que pueda acreditarse a su cuenta.
18 I have received everything in full and have an abundance. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are an aroma of a sweet fragrance, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.
Tengo todo y más que suficiente: estoy lleno, habiendo recibido de Epafrodito lo que vino de ustedes un perfume de olor dulce, una ofrenda que agrada a Dios.
19 And my God will fully supply your every need through Christ Jesus according to his riches in glory.
Y mi Dios les dará todo lo que necesitan de la riqueza de su gloria en Cristo Jesús.
Ahora a Dios nuestro Padre sea la gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Que así sea. (aiōn g165)
21 Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me greet you.
Dale saludos a cada santo en Cristo Jesús. Los hermanos que están conmigo les envían saludos.
22 All the saints greet you, especially those of Caesar's household.
Todos los santos les envían saludos, especialmente los que son de la casa del César.
23 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
La gracia del Señor Jesucristo sea con ustedes.
