Matthew 28
1 After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene came to see the tomb along with the other Mary.
Spät aber am Sabbath, als schon der erste Wochentag dämmern wollte, kam Maria von Magdala und die andere Maria, die Grabstätte zu beschauen.
2 And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled away the stone from the entrance and sat on it.
Und siehe, das geschah ein großes Erdbeben; denn der Engel des Herrn stieg vom Himmel herab, kam hinzu, wälzte den Stein weg von der Tür und setzte sich darauf.
3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing was as white as snow.
Er war aber anzusehen wie ein Blitz und sein Kleid weiß wie Schnee.
4 The guards were so afraid of him that they trembled and became like dead men.
Aber aus Furcht vor ihm erbebten, die es bewachten, und wurden wie tot.
5 Then the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who has been crucified.
Der Engel aber hob an und sprach zu den Weibern: Fürchtet euch nicht; denn ich weiß, daß ihr Jesus den Gekreuzigten sucht.
6 He is not here, for he is risen, just as he said. Come see the place where the Lord lay.
Er ist nicht hier; denn Er ist auferweckt, wie Er gesagt hat. Kommt her, und seht den Ort, da der Herr gelegen hat.
7 Now go quickly and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead. And behold, he is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see him. Listen to what I have told you.”
Und geht schnell hin und sagt Seinen Jüngern, daß Er von den Toten auferweckt ist. Und siehe, Er geht vor euch hin nach Galiläa. Dort werdet ihr Ihn sehen. Siehe, ich habe es euch gesagt.
8 So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples.
Und sie gingen schnell hinaus von der Gruft mit Furcht und großer Freude und liefen, es Seinen Jüngern anzusagen.
9 As they went on their way to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” So they came to him, took hold of his feet, and worshiped him.
Wie sie aber hingingen, es Seinen Jüngern anzusagen, begegnete ihnen Jesus und sprach: Seid gegrüßt! Sie aber kamen herzu, ergriffen Seine Füße und beteten Ihn an.
10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid; go tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.”
Da spricht Jesus zu ihnen: Fürchtet euch nicht! Geht hin und sagt Meinen Brüdern an, daß sie nach Galiläa hingehen, und dort werden sie Mich sehen.
11 As they went, behold, some of the guards went into the city and brought word to the chief priests of all that had taken place.
Während sie aber hingingen, siehe, da kamen einige von der Wache in die Stadt und sagten den Hohenpriestern an alles, was geschehen war.
12 After the chief priests had assembled with the elders and taken counsel, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers
Und sie versammelten sich mit den Ältesten und faßten einen Beschluß und gaben den Kriegsknechten Silbers genug,
13 and said, “Tell people, ‘His disciples came by night and stole him away while we were sleeping.’
Und sprachen: Sagt, Seine Jünger sind in der Nacht gekommen und haben Ihn gestohlen, während wir schliefen.
14 If this matter is heard before the governor, we will persuade him and keep you free from concern.”
Und wenn der Landpfleger davon hört, wollen wir ihn überreden, und euch außer Sorge setzen.
15 So they took the money and did as they had been instructed. And this story is still being spread among the Jews today.
Sie aber nahmen die Silberlinge und taten, wie sie gelehrt waren. Und solches Wort ist bei den Juden ruchbar bis auf den heutigen Tag.
16 Meanwhile, the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had directed them to go.
Die elf Jünger aber gingen hin nach Galiläa auf den Berg, wohin sie Jesus beschieden hatte.
17 When they saw him, they worshiped him, but some doubted.
Und da sie Ihn sahen, fielen sie vor Ihm nieder; einige aber zweifelten.
18 Then Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Und Jesus kam zu ihnen, redete mit ihnen und sprach: Mir ist gegeben alle Gewalt im Himmel und auf Erden.
19 Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Darum gehet hin und macht zu Jüngern alle Völkerschaften und taufet sie im Namen des Vaters und des Sohnes und des Heiligen Geistes.
