< Matthew 24 >
1 As Jesus came out from the temple courts and was walking away, his disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.
Yesu refi faako a asɔredan no si hɔ akɔ no, nʼasuafo no baa ne nkyɛn pɛɛ sɛ wɔtwe nʼadwene kɔ adan ahorow a ɛwɔ asɔredan no mu no so.
2 But Jesus said to them, “You see all these buildings? Truly I say to you, not one stone will be left here upon another; all of them will be torn down.”
Nanso ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Wobedwiriw saa dan yi agu pasaa!”
3 Later, as Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately and said, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign of yoʋr coming and of the end of the age?” (aiōn )
Yesu kɔɔ Ngo Bepɔw no so. Ɔte hɔ no, nʼasuafo no baa ne nkyɛn bebisaa no se, “Bere bɛn na nea woreka yi bɛba? Na nsɛnkyerɛnne bɛn na ɛbɛma yɛahu wo ba a wobɛsan aba bio no ne wiase awiei a ɛbɛba no?” (aiōn )
4 Jesus answered them, “Make sure no one leads you astray.
Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Monhwɛ na obi annaadaa mo.
5 For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.
Nnipa bebree de me din bɛba abɛka se, wɔne Agyenkwa no, na wɔadaadaa mo mu pii.
6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. Do not be alarmed, for all these things must take place, but the end is not yet.
Sɛ mote sɛ wɔafi akodi ase a, ɛnkyerɛ me ba a mɛsan aba no ho nsɛnkyerɛnne. Ɛsɛ sɛ eyinom ba, nanso awiei no de, ennya mmae.
7 For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places.
Aman bɛsɔre wɔ aman so, na ahenni asɔre wɔ ahenni so, na ɔkɔm ne asasewosow bɛba mmeaemmeae.
8 But all these things are the beginning of the labor pains.
Eyinom nyinaa bɛyɛ nneɛma a ɛyɛ hu a ɛbɛba no mfiase.
9 “Then they will hand you over to be tortured and will put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of my name.
“Sɛ moyɛ me de nti, wɔbɛyɛ mo ayayade, na wɔakunkum mo wɔ wiase afanan nyinaa,
10 Many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another.
na mo mu pii bɛsan akɔ bɔne mu, na moayiyi mo ho mo ho ama, na moatentan mo ho mo ho.
11 Many false prophets will rise up and lead many astray.
Atoro adiyifo bebree bɛsɔre, na wɔadaadaa mo mu pii.
12 Because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold,
Bɔne bɛdɔɔso wɔ wiase, na abrɛ nnipa dɔ a wɔwɔ no ase.
13 but he who endures to the end will be saved.
Nanso wɔn a wobegyina pintinn akodu awiei no, wobegye wɔn nkwa.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Na wɔbɛka asɛmpa a ɛfa Ahenni no ho no wɔ wiase mmaa nyinaa, na wɔate. Ɛno akyi ansa na awiei no bɛba.”
15 “So when you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place” (let the reader understand),
“Enti sɛ muhu ‘abusude a ɛde ɔsɛe ba’ a Odiyifo Daniel kaa ho asɛm sɛ egyina kronkronbea hɔ no a, ma nea ɔkenkan no nte ase,
16 “then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains.

17 He who is on the housetop must not come down to get anything out of his house.
Mma obiara a ɔwɔ ne fi dan atifi no nsian nkɔfa biribiara mfi ne fi hɔ.
18 And he who is in the field must not turn back to get his garments.
Wɔn a wɔwɔ mfuw so no nso nnsan wɔn akyi mmɛfa wɔn ntama.
19 Woe to those who are with child and to those who are nursing infants in those days!
Ɛbɛyɛ hu ama wɔn a wɔafa afuru ne wɔn a woturu mma saa bere no mu!
20 Pray that your flight will not happen in winter or on a Sabbath.
Na mommɔ mpae na bere a ɛsɛ sɛ muguan no anyɛ awɔwbere anaa Homeda.
21 For at that time there will be a great tribulation unlike any other from the beginning of the world until now, and it will never be equaled again.
Efisɛ awerɛhowdi a ɛbɛba no, bi nsii wɔ wiase abakɔsɛm mu da, na bi nso rensi da.
22 If those days had not been cut short, no flesh would be saved. But for the sake of the chosen those days will be cut short.
“Nokware, sɛ wɔantwa saa nna no so a, ɛrenka obi.
23 If anyone says to you at that time, ‘Behold, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘Here he is!’ do not believe him.
Sɛ obi ka kyerɛ mo se, ‘Agyenkwa no wɔ ha anaasɛ ɔwɔ nohɔ anaa wayi ne ho adi wɔ ha anaa ɛhɔ’ a, munnnye nni.
24 For false christs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen.
Atoro agyenkwanom ne atoro adiyifo bɛsɔre, na wɔayɛ anwonwade ahorow na sɛ ebetumi a, wɔadaadaa wɔn a Onyankopɔn ayi wɔn no mpo.
25 Behold, I have told you in advance.
Monhwɛ yiye, efisɛ maka biribiara akyerɛ mo!
26 So if they say to you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out, or, ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.
“Enti sɛ obi ka kyerɛ mo se, ‘Agyenkwa no asan aba na ɔwɔ sare so a,’ monnhaw mo ho sɛ mobɛkɔ hɔ akɔhwehwɛ no. Anaasɛ nso wose, ‘Ɔde ne ho asie baabi a,’ munnnye nni!
27 For just as lightning comes from the east and shines to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
Na sɛnea anyinam twa fi apuei kɔ atɔe no, saa ara na sɛ Onipa Ba no reba a, ɛbɛyɛ ne no.
28 For where the carcass is, there the vultures will be gathered together.
Na nea funu wɔ no, ɛhɔ na apete bɛboaboa wɔn ho ano.
29 “But immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light. The stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
“Saa mmere no awerɛhowdi no akyi pɛ “‘owia beduru sum, na ɔsram renhyerɛn; na nsoromma befi wim atetew ahwe, na wim abɔde behinhim.’
30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the heavens, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
“Afei Onipa Ba no ho nsɛnkyerɛnne bɛda adi wɔ ɔsoro. Na asase sofo nyinaa betwa agyaadwo bere a wobehu Onipa Ba no sɛ ɔde tumi ne anuonyam nam ɔsoro omununkum mu reba.
31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather together his chosen from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
Na mɛsoma mʼabɔfo na wɔde torobɛnto a ano yɛ den aba abɛboaboa wɔn a mayi wɔn no ano fi ɔsoro ano akɔka asase ano.
32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its branches become tender and put out leaves, you know that summer is near.
“Afei munsua biribi mfi borɔdɔma dua no ho asɛm no mu. Sɛ eyi mman foforo, san yi nhaban foforo a, na ɛkyerɛ sɛ asusow abɛn.
33 So also, when you see all these things, know that he is near, at the very gates.
Saa ara nso na sɛ muhu sɛ saa nneɛma yi nyinaa afi ase resisi a, mubehu sɛ me ba a mɛsan aba no abɛn, adu ɔpon ano.
34 Truly I say to you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have taken place.
Nokware mise mo sɛ, awo ntoatoaso yi rentwa mu, gye sɛ saa nneɛma yi nyinaa aba mu ansa.
35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will certainly not pass away.
Ɔsoro ne asase betwa mu akɔ, nanso me nsɛm de, ɛbɛtena hɔ daa.
36 “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels of heaven, but only my Father.
“Nanso da anaa dɔn ko a awiei no bɛba de, obiara nnim. Ɔsoro abɔfo ne Onyankopɔn Ba no mpo nnim. Agya no nko na onim.
37 As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
Onipa Ba no ba a ɔbɛba no bɛyɛ sɛnea Noa bere so ɛyɛɛ no ara pɛ.
38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah went into the ark.
Na sɛnea nna a edi nsuyiri no anim no nnipa didii, na wɔnomee, warewaree, de kosii da a Noa kɔɔ hyɛn no mu,
39 They knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. So will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.
na nnipa annye nea ɛbɛba anni, kosii sɛ nsuyiri bɛfaa wɔn nyinaa kɔe no, saa ara na me ba a mɛsan aba no bɛyɛ.
40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one will be left.
Saa bere no, wɔbɛfa mmarima baanu a wɔreyɛ adwuma wɔ afum no mu baako akɔ, na wɔagyaw ɔbaako.
41 Two women will be grinding grain at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left.
Saa ara nso na mmea baanu a wɔwɔ fie renoa aduan no nso, wɔbɛfa ɔbaako agyaw ɔbaako.
42 Therefore keep watch, for you do not know in what hour your Lord is coming.
“Enti monwɛn, efisɛ munnim da ko a Awurade bɛba.
43 But know this: If the master of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and not allowed his house to be broken into.
Sɛnea sɛ ofiwura nim bere a owifo bɛba a anka ɔbɛwɛn de abɔ ne ho ban afi akorɔmfo ho no,

45 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time?

46 Blessed is that servant whom his master finds doing so when he comes.

47 Truly I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions.
Meka mo nokware se ɔde nea ɔwɔ nyinaa bɛhyɛ ne nsa na wahwɛ so!
48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delayed in coming,’
Na sɛ ɔkɔyɛ ɔsomfo tirimuɔdenfo, na ɔka kyerɛ ne ho se, ‘Me Wura nnya mmae,’
49 and begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with the drunkards,

Ɔsomfo no wura no bɛba da a nʼani nna so.
51 and will cut him in two and assign his portion to be with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Ɔbɛtwe nʼaso dennen, na ɔde no akɔ baabi a wobu nyaatwomfo atɛn; ɛhɔ na osu ne setwɛre wɔ.
