Matthew 17
1 After six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John the brother of James, and led them up on a high mountain by themselves.
| دوای شەش ڕۆژ، عیسا بە تەنها پەترۆس و یاقوب و یۆحەنای برای لەگەڵ خۆی برد و بۆ سەر چیایەکی بەرز ڕێبەریی کردن. |
2 There he was transfigured before them; his face shone like the sun, and his garments became as white as light.
| پاشان لەپێشیان شێوەی گۆڕا، ڕووی وەک ڕۆژ دەدرەوشایەوە و جلەکانی وەک ڕووناکی سپی هەڵگەڕان. |
3 And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with him.
| لەناکاو موسا و ئەلیاسیان بۆ دەرکەوت و لەگەڵ عیسادا کەوتنە گفتوگۆ. |
4 So Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If yoʋ want, we will make three shelters here, one for yoʋ, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
| ئینجا پەترۆس بە عیسای گوت: «گەورەم، پێمان باشە لێرە بین. ئەگەر حەز دەکەیت لێرە سێ کەپر دروستدەکەم، یەکێک بۆ تۆ و یەکێک بۆ موسا و یەکێکیش بۆ ئەلیاس.» |
5 While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; listen to him!”
| کاتێک قسەی دەکرد، هەورێکی ڕۆشن باڵی بەسەریاندا کێشا و دەنگێک لە هەورەکەوە فەرمووی: «ئەمە کوڕی خۆشەویستمە، ئەوەی پێی دڵشادم. گوێی لێ بگرن!» |
6 When the disciples heard this, they fell on their faces and were utterly afraid.
| کاتێک قوتابییەکان گوێیان لەو دەنگە بوو، بەدەمدا کەوتن، زۆر ترسان. |
7 But Jesus came over and touched them, saying, “Rise; do not be afraid.”
| بەڵام عیسا هات، دەستی لێدان و فەرمووی: «هەستن، مەترسن!» |
8 And lifting up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus.
| ئینجا چاویان هەڵبڕی و لە عیسا زیاتر کەسیان نەبینی. |
9 As they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, “Do not tell anyone about the vision you saw until the Son of Man has risen from the dead.”
| کاتێک لە چیاکە دەهاتنە خوارەوە، عیسا فەرمانی پێدان و فەرمووی: «ئەمەی بینیتان بە کەسی مەڵێن، هەتا کوڕی مرۆڤ لەناو مردووان هەڵدەستێنرێتەوە.» |
10 Then his disciples asked him, “Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
| قوتابییەکانی لێیان پرسی: «باشە بۆچی مامۆستایانی تەورات دەڵێن دەبێت یەکەم جار ئەلیاس بێت؟» |
11 Jesus answered them, “Elijah does indeed come first, and he will restore all things.
| عیسا وەڵامی دانەوە: «ڕاستە، ئەلیاس دێت و هەموو شتێک ڕێک دەخاتەوە. |
12 But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but did to him whatever they wanted. Even so the Son of Man is about to suffer at their hands.”
| بەڵام پێتان دەڵێم: ئەلیاس هات و نەیانناسی، چییان ویست پێیان کرد. هەروەها کوڕی مرۆڤیش بە دەستیانەوە ئازار دەچێژێت.» |
13 Then the disciples understood that he was speaking to them about John the Baptist.
| ئەوسا قوتابییەکان تێگەیشتن کە باسی یەحیای لەئاوهەڵکێشی بۆ کردن. |
14 When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus, kneeling before him
| کاتێک گەیشتنە لای خەڵکەکە، کابرایەک هات و لەبەردەمی چۆکی دادا و |
15 and saying, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers terribly. For often he falls into the fire, and often into the water.
| گوتی: «گەورەم، بەزەییت بە کوڕەکەمدا بێتەوە، فێدارە و ئازارێکی زۆر دەچێژێت. زۆر جار دەکەوێتە ناو ئاگر و زۆر جاریش ناو ئاوەوە. |
16 I brought him to yoʋr disciples, but they could not heal him.”
| هێنامە لای قوتابییەکانت، بەڵام نەیانتوانی چاکی بکەنەوە.» |
17 Jesus answered, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to me.”
| جا عیسا وەڵامی دایەوە: «ئەی نەوەی بێباوەڕ و خوار، هەتا کەی لەگەڵتان بم؟ هەتا کەی بەرگەتان بگرم؟ ئەو کوڕە بهێننە ئێرە بۆ لام.» |
18 Then Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that hour.
| عیسا لە ڕۆحە پیسەکەی ڕاخوڕی و لە کوڕەکە هاتە دەرەوە، لەو کاتەوە کوڕەکە چاک بووەوە. |
19 Afterward the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”
| پاشان قوتابییەکان بە تەنها هاتنە لای عیسا و گوتیان: «بۆچی ئێمە نەمانتوانی دەریبکەین؟» |
20 Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief. For truly I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.
| ئەویش پێی فەرموون: «لەبەر کەمی باوەڕتان. ڕاستیتان پێ دەڵێم: ئەگەر ئەوەندەی دەنکە خەرتەلەیەک باوەڕتان هەبێ، بەو کێوە دەڵێن”لەوێ بڕۆ،“دەڕوات و هیچ شتێک بۆتان مەحاڵ نابێت. |
21 But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”
| بەڵام ئەم جۆرە ڕۆحانە دەرناکرێن، بە نوێژ و ڕۆژوو نەبێت. » |
22 While they were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is about to be delivered up into the hands of men.
| کاتێک قوتابییەکان لە جەلیل کۆبوونەوە، عیسا پێی فەرموون: «کوڕی مرۆڤ دەدرێتە دەست خەڵک و |
23 They will kill him, and on the third day he will be raised up.” And the disciples were greatly distressed.
| دەیکوژن، لە ڕۆژی سێیەم هەڵدەستێنرێتەوە.» قوتابییەکانیش بەمە زۆر دڵگران بوون. |
24 When they came to Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma tax came to Peter and said, “Your teacher pays the two-drachma tax, doesn't he?”
| کاتێک عیسا و قوتابییەکانی گەیشتنە کەفەرناحوم، باجگرانی دوو درهەمەکەی پەرستگا هاتنە لای پەترۆس و گوتیان: «ئەرێ مامۆستاکەتان باجی پەرستگا نادات؟» |
25 He said, “Yes.” And when Peter came into the house, Jesus spoke to him first, saying, “What do yoʋ think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth receive toll or tax? From their own sons or from strangers?”
| گوتی: «بەڵێ.» کاتێک پەترۆس هاتە ماڵەوە، عیسا پێشی کەوت و فەرمووی: «ڕات چییە شیمۆن؟ پاشایانی زەوی سەرانە و باج لە کێ وەردەگرن؟ لە هاوڵاتییانی خۆیان یان لە خەڵکی بیانی؟» |
26 Peter said to him, “From strangers.” And Jesus said to him, “Then the sons are free.
| پەترۆس گوتی: «لە بیانی.» عیساش پێی فەرموو: «کەواتە هاوڵاتییان ئازادن. |
27 But so that we may not offend them, go to the sea, cast a hook, and take the first fish yoʋ catch. When yoʋ open its mouth, yoʋ will find a stater coin. Take it and give it to them for yoʋ and me.”
| بەڵام تاکو بۆیان نەبینە کۆسپ، بڕۆ دەریاچەکە و قولاپ هەڵبدە، یەکەم ماسی کە دەیگریت، دەمی بکەرەوە، دراوێکی ستاتیر دەبینیتەوە، بیبە و لە جیاتی خۆم و خۆت بیاندەرێ.» |
