Luke 17

1 Then Jesus said to the disciples, “It is inevitable that stumbling blocks come, but woe to the one through whom they come!

۱ و شاگردان خود را گفت: «لابد است ازوقوع لغزشها، لیکن وای بر آن کسی‌که باعث آنها شود.

2 It would be better for him if a heavy millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than for him to cause one of these little ones to stumble.

۲ او را بهتر می‌بود که سنگ آسیایی بر گردنش آویخته شود و در دریا افکنده شود از اینکه یکی از این کودکان را لغزش دهد.

3 Watch yourselves. If yoʋr brother sins against yoʋ, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him.

۳ احتراز کنید و اگر برادرت به تو خطا ورزد او راتنبیه کن و اگر توبه کند او را ببخش.

4 Even if he sins against yoʋ seven times in a day, and seven times in that day he comes back and says, ‘I repent,’ yoʋ must forgive him.”

۴ و هرگاه درروزی هفت کرت به تو گناه کند و در روزی هفت مرتبه، برگشته به تو گوید توبه می‌کنم، او راببخش.»

5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”

۵ آنگاه رسولان به خداوند گفتند: «ایمان ما رازیاد کن.»

6 The Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.

۶ خداوند گفت: «اگر ایمان به قدر دانه خردلی می‌داشتید، به این درخت افراغ می‌گفتیدکه کنده شده در دریا نشانده شود اطاعت شمامی کرد.

7 “Suppose one of you has a servant plowing the field or tending the sheep. As soon as he comes in from the field would you say, ‘Come and recline at the table’?

۷ «اما کیست از شماکه غلامش به شخم کردن یا شبانی مشغول شود و وقتی که از صحرا آید به وی گوید، بزودی بیا و بنشین.

8 Instead, would yoʋ not say to him, ‘Prepare my supper. Put on yoʋr apron and serve me while I eat and drink; after that yoʋ may eat and drink’?

۸ بلکه آیا بدونمی گوید چیزی درست کن تا شام بخورم و کمرخود را بسته مرا خدمت کن تا بخورم و بنوشم وبعد از آن تو بخور و بیاشام؟

9 Do yoʋ thank that servant because he did what he was commanded? I think not.

۹ آیا از آن غلام منت می‌کشد از آنکه حکمهای او را به‌جا آورد؟ گمان ندارم.

10 So you also, when you have done everything you were commanded to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done what we were obligated to do.’”

۱۰ همچنین شما نیز چون به هر چیزی که مامور شده‌اید عمل کردید، گویید که غلامان بی‌منفعت هستیم زیرا که آنچه بر ما واجب بود به‌جا آوردیم.»

11 Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border of Samaria and Galilee.

۱۱ و هنگامی که سفر به سوی اورشلیم می‌کرداز میانه سامره و جلیل می‌رفت.

12 As he entered a village, he was met by ten lepers who stood at a distance.

۱۲ و چون به قریه‌ای داخل می‌شد ناگاه ده شخص ابرص به استقبال او آمدند و از دور ایستاده،

13 They lifted up their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”

۱۳ به آواز بلندگفتند: «ای عیسی خداوند بر ما ترحم فرما.»

14 When he saw them, he said to them, “Go show yourselves to the priests.” As they went along, they were cleansed.

۱۴ اوبه ایشان نظر کرده گفت: «بروید و خود را به کاهن بنمایید.» ایشان چون می‌رفتند، طاهر گشتند.

15 When one of them saw that he had been healed, he came back, glorifying God with a loud voice.

۱۵ و یکی از ایشان چون دید که شفا یافته است، برگشته به صدای بلند خدا را تمجید می‌کرد.

16 He then fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks. (Now he was a Samaritan.)

۱۶ وپیش قدم او به روی در‌افتاده وی را شکر کرد. و اواز اهل سامره بود.

17 In response Jesus said, “Were not ten cleansed? Where then are the other nine?

۱۷ عیسی ملتفت شده گفت «آیا ده نفر طاهر نشدند، پس آن نه کجا شدند؟

18 Were there none found who came back to give glory to God except this foreigner?”

۱۸ آیا هیچ‌کس یافت نمی شود که برگشته خدا راتمجید کند جز این غریب؟»

19 Then he said to the man, “Rise and go on yoʋr way; yoʋr faith has healed yoʋ.”

۱۹ و بدو گفت: «برخاسته برو که ایمانت تو را نجات داده است.»

20 At one point Jesus was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God was coming, so he answered them, “The kingdom of God does not come with observable signs,

۲۰ و چون فریسیان از او پرسیدند که ملکوت خدا کی می‌آید، او در جواب ایشان گفت: «ملکوت خدا با مراقبت نمی آید.

21 nor will people say, ‘Behold, here it is!’ or, ‘Behold, there it is!’ For behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”

۲۱ و نخواهندگفت که در فلان یا فلان جاست. زیرا اینک ملکوت خدا در میان شما است.»

22 Then he said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it.

۲۲ و به شاگردان خود گفت: «ایامی می‌آید که آرزو خواهید داشت که روزی از روزهای پسر انسان را بینید ونخواهید دید.

23 People will say to you, ‘Behold, here he is!’ or, ‘Behold, there he is!’ Do not go off with them or run after them,

۲۳ و به شما خواهند گفت، اینک در فلان یا فلان جاست، مروید و تعاقب آن مکنید.

24 for just as lightning flashes from one part of the sky and shines to the other, so will the Son of Man be in his day.

۲۴ زیرا چون برق که از یک جانب زیرآسمان لامع شده تا جانب دیگر زیر آسمان درخشان می‌شود، پسر انسان در یوم خودهمچنین خواهد بود.

25 But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.

۲۵ لیکن اول لازم است که اوزحمات بسیار بیند و از این فرقه مطرود شود.

26 Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man.

۲۶ و چنانکه در ایام نوح واقع شد، همانطوردر زمان پسر انسان نیز خواهد بود،

27 People were eating and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah went into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.

۲۷ که می‌خوردند و می‌نوشیدند و زن و شوهرمی گرفتند تا روزی که چون نوح داخل کشتی شد، طوفان آمده همه را هلاک ساخت.

28 It will be the same as it was in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building.

۲۸ وهمچنان‌که در ایام لوط شد که به خوردن وآشامیدن و خرید و فروش و زراعت و عمارت مشغول می‌بودند،

29 But on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.

۲۹ تا روزی که چون لوط ازسدوم بیرون آمد، آتش و گوگرد از آسمان باریدو همه را هلاک ساخت.

30 So will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

۳۰ بر همین منوال خواهدبود در روزی که پسر انسان ظاهر شود.

31 On that day, he who is on the housetop and whose goods are in the house must not come down to get them. Likewise, he who is in the field must not turn back.

۳۱ در آن روز هر‌که بر پشت بام باشد و اسباب او در خانه نزول نکند تا آنها را بردارد و کسی‌که در صحراباشد همچنین برنگردد.

32 Remember Lot's wife.

۳۲ زن لوط را بیاد آورید.

33 Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will preserve it.

۳۳ هر‌که خواهد جان خود را برهاند آن را هلاک خواهد کرد و هر‌که آن را هلاک کند آن را زنده نگاه خواهد داشت.

34 I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other will be left.

۳۴ به شما می‌گویم در آن شب دو نفر بر یک تخت خواهند بود، یکی برداشته و دیگری واگذارده خواهد شد.

35 Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other will be left.”

۳۵ و دوزن که در یک جا دستاس کنند، یکی برداشته ودیگری واگذارده خواهد شد.

36

۳۶ و دونفر که درمزرعه باشند، یکی برداشته و دیگری واگذارده خواهد شد.»

37 Then the disciples said to him in response, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where the body is, there the vultures will be gathered together.”

۳۷ در جواب وی گفتند: «کجا‌ای خداوند.» گفت: «در هر جایی که لاش باشد درآنجا کرکسان جمع خواهند شد.»
