Jude 1
1 Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and a brother of James, to those who are called and sanctified by God the Father, and kept for Jesus Christ:
Juda, Jezusa Kristusa hlapec, a brat Jakobov, v Bogu očetu posvečenim in Jezusu Kristusu hranjenim poklicanim:
2 Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
Usmiljenje vam in mir in ljubezen naj se napolni.
3 Beloved, although I was quite eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.
Ljubljeni, ko sem si mnogo prizadeval pisati vam o skupnem zveličanji, potreba mi je bilo pisati vam opominjajoč, da se borite za vero enkrat dano svetim.
4 For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have crept in unnoticed. They are ungodly men who pervert the grace of our God, turning it into a license for sensuality. By doing so, they deny God, who is our only Master, and also the Lord Jesus Christ.
Kajti priplazili so se neki ljudje, zdavnaj naprej zapisani za to sodbo, brezbožni, ki milost Boga našega krivo rabijo v razuzdanost, in tajé edinega vladarja Boga in Gospoda našega Jezusa Kristusa.
5 Now I want to remind you, although you already know this, that after the Lord saved a people out of the land of Egypt, he subsequently destroyed those who did not believe.
Spomniti pa vas hočem, ko enkrat to veste, da je Gospod, ki je rešil ljudstvo iz dežele Egiptovske, pozneje pogubil ne verujoče.
6 And the angels who did not keep within their proper domain, but left their own dwelling, he has kept under darkness in everlasting chains for the judgment of the great day. (aïdios g126)
In angele, ki niso hranili poglavarstva svojega, nego so zapustili lastno domovje, shranil je v sodbo vélikega dneva z večnimi vezmí pod temo; (aïdios g126)
7 Likewise, Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, who indulged in fornication and went after strange flesh in a manner similar to those angels, serve as an example by undergoing the punishment of eternal fire. (aiōnios g166)
Kakor Sodoma in Gomora, in mesta okolo njih, ki so enako kakor té, kurbala se in hodila za drugim mesom, so zgled, ker trpé kazen večnega ognja. (aiōnios g166)
8 In the same way these ungodly men, relying on their dreams, defile the flesh, reject authority, and revile glorious beings.
Enako torej tudi ti, sanjajoč, oskrunjajo meso, zaničujejo gospostvo, preklinjajo slave.
9 But when Michael the archangel was contending with the devil and disputing about the body of Moses, he did not dare to bring a reviling judgment against him, but said, “May the Lord rebuke yoʋ!”
Mihael pa, nadangelj, ko se je s hudičem prepirajoč pregovarjal o telesu Mojzesovem, ni se upal izreči sodbe preklinjevanja, nego rekel je: Kaznúj te Gospod!
10 Yet these men slander whatever they do not understand, and they are corrupted by what they, like irrational beasts, instinctively comprehend.
Ti pa preklinjajo, česar ne vedó; kar pa znajo naravno, kakor nespametne živali, v tem se pogubljajo.
11 Woe to them! For they went in the way of Cain, they rushed for reward to the error of Balaam, and they perished in the rebellion of Korah.
Gorjé jim; ker hodili so po potu Kajnovem in za plačilo Bileamovo zabredli so v zmoto; in v nasprotji Kore so poginili.
12 These men are hidden reefs at your love feasts, feeding themselves as they feast among you without fear. They are clouds without water, carried along by winds; fruitless trees in late autumn, twice dead, pulled up by the roots.
Ti so pri bratovskih pojedinjah vaših zapreke, ko se gosté skup brez straha, same sebe pasó; oblaki brez vode, ki jih gonijo vetrovi; drevesa poznojesenska, brez sadú, dvakrat mrtva, izkoreninjena;
13 They are wild waves of the sea, foaming out their own shameful deeds; wayward stars, for whom the thick gloom of darkness has been reserved forever. (aiōn g165)
Divji morski valovi, ki izpenjavajo lastno sramoto: zvezde tavajoče, katerim je mrak teme hranjen vekomaj. (aiōn g165)
14 Enoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied about these men, saying, “Behold, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones
Prerokoval je pa tudi tem sedmi od Adama, Enoh, govoreč: "Glej, prišel je Gospod v mirijadah svetih svojih.
15 to execute judgment against all and to convict all the ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds that they have done in an ungodly way, and to convict ungodly sinners of all the harsh words they have spoken against him.”
Sodbo delat vsem in kaznovat vse njih brezbožne, za vsa dela brezbožnosti, katera so storili, in za vse trdo, kar so govorili zoper njega grešniki brezbožni.
16 These men are grumblers and complainers, walking according to their own lusts. They speak bombastic words with their mouths, admiring people for their own advantage.
Ti so godrnjači, pritoževalci, ki hodijo po svojih poželenjih; in usta njih govoré šopirno, občudujoč osebe zaradi koristi.
17 But you, beloved, must remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold,
Vi pa, ljubljeni, spominjajte se besed, ki so jih naprej govorili aposteljni Gospoda našega Jezusa Kristusa;
18 how they said to you, “In the end times there will be scoffers who walk according to their own ungodly lusts.”
Kajti rekli so vam: V zadnjem času bodejo posmehovalci, hodeči po svojih poželenjih brezbožnosti.
19 These people cause divisions; they are worldly and do not have the Spirit.
Ti so, ki se odločujejo, počutniki, ne imajoči Duha.
20 But you, beloved, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,
Vi pa, ljubljeni, izpodbujajte se v presveti veri svoji, ter molite v Duhu svetem,
21 must keep yourselves in the love of God as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
Hranite se v ljubezni Božji, pričakujte usmiljenje Gospoda našega Jezusa Kristusa v večno življenje! (aiōnios g166)
22 Have mercy on some, using discernment;
In ene milujte razločujoč;
23 and others save with fear by snatching them out of the fire, hating even the garment that is stained by the flesh.
Ene pa rešite v strahu, potegnivši jih iz ognja, sovražeč tudi obleko oskrunjeno po mesu.
24 Now to him who is able to keep them from falling and to make them stand unblemished in the presence of his glory with great joy,
Njemu pa, kateri vas more ohraniti brez izpotike, in postaviti pred slavo svojo brez madeža v radovanji,
